The Big Moment. I plunged into the dark hole of concentration, focusing on my routine and blocking out the world. So powerful. Shooting to the air my head twisted and was span around and around. I began to feel light headed and the next thing I knew I was laying down on the ground trying to catch my breath. Shooting pain in my knees. My eyes were watery with the sheer pain and my breathing came out in sharp, shallow rasps. Drenched with sweat, I couldn’t think straight; everything was so blurred. “Are you ok? Are you ok?” I heard this husky voice that reminded me of storms at sea. I blinked, shut my eyes, and blinked again, managing to fully open both eyes. It was magical and overwhelming the way I fell in love with him in the blink of an eye! I bit my lip.My breathing and heartbeat started to speed up and my ears filled with white noise. I started to chew on my nails but tried to keep my hands away from my mouth but it didn’t really work as I found myself chewing again! I was nervous There was this extremely good looking man right in front of me and I didn’t know what to do or what to say. I tried ro put the thought aside. I couldn’t be in love, what was I thinking My dance teacher! I took his hands as he pulled me up. “Are you ok?” he repeated again. “Yes thank you,” I mumbled. I took off my Pointe shoes and threw them over my shoulder. I hopped to the changing room. Did I really just fall in love with my teacher? I tried to dismiss this silly thought but overwhelming feeling seemed to tighten its grip on me. I left the studio later than usual. It was as if my movements, even the world had been slowed down. A shiver ran down my spine in only my jersey I had to try and run in the direction of the bus stop but my knee throbbing. I sat on the wall. It was wet and rain pelted down in diagonal sheets, I sat there, cold and shivering. I had no idea how I was going to get home. I was gradually getting wetter and my mascara was dripping down my face leaving a trail of black tears. A silver Mercedes pulled up in front of me. “Do you want a lift?” his husky voiced asked. The heat rose to my cheeks, despite the cold. “Yeah, sure.” I replied. I awkwardly sat in his car. “Are you ready for your performance tomorrow?” he asked me. I looked at my injured knee. “Depends.” “Take some rest tonight. You can practice in the morning.” He dropped me off. How glad was I to be home. But I couldn't practice. I had to rest my knee; i put some ice n my knee which made shivers ran through my back bone. I sat for hours trying to numb the pain. I really didn’t want to disappoint anyone or myself after the years if training i had put into this. I cried as if my entire world ad com to an end. I couldn’t give up, not yet. I went to bed but i couldn't sleep. I was tossing and turning; his face was emblazoned my mind. Nerves started to kick in and I was really worrying about my knee. I woke from my fitful sleep. I got my coffee and went to the studio. I tried to practice as I hadn't had any last night. My knee felt much better. I had less than 2 hours. I could do this! I put on my tutu which glistened with jewels and had pink feathers attached to it. Next i put on my flesh colored tights and put on my ballet Pointe shoes. Lastly I tied my hair neatly in a bun. I looked in the mirrors liked what I saw. It was now my time to shine. My heart was pounding against my chest. I ascended the stairs and heard the murmured chatters from the audience. I could feel my cheeks getting hot and gripped my tutu tightly with sweaty hands. I tried to breathe slowly, telling myself I had rehearsed thoroughly and had nothing to worry about. "Good luck," he whispered in my ear. His voice seemed to clutch at my stomach. The dance momentarily forgotten. I could hardly breathe and I felt the same feeling I’d felt when he held his hand out to me. I stood there for what seemed like hours. The audience hushed everyone was there especially my dancing teacher. As the first sound reached my ear my legs started to move as if on their own. I was alone on the stage of my life. Now it was the viewers turn to hold their breaths. As I did all of the piruets. I was moving like a falling leaf in the wind, slowly, graciously. He caught my eye with every jump my heart skipped a beat. With every spin I got dizzier. To him, i was a goddess. And suddenly it all stopped. Everyone stared. Open Question: 8 Month Old Male American Bulldog Aggression Issues?

I have 2 American Bulldogs one female who is 1y old and a male who is 8 months. When my female was a puppy I was in a far more dog friendly area where we had many dog parks. I would take her and my husky to the dog park on a daily basis. I moved to an area that doesn't have dog parks and shortly after I got my male American bulldog. He has not been as well socialized as my other two dogs, and yes I know that is my own fault. Recently we have noticed that he has some dog aggression, but it appears to be mostly, if not only, territorial. By that I mean he only acts like this in his home or in/around his yard when a new dog comes around. He is great with the other two dogs I have as well as our cat and any person he meets. However when he is near an unknown dog he begins to use his "big boy" bark, lunges and snarls and tried to grab hold of the other dog. Does anyone out there who is experienced in this area know of any tips on training him to get over this? When we travel we love bringing our dogs with, but if he acts like this I can not with sound mind expose him to other peoples dogs. The few times he has interacted with dogs out side of our home he has done really well. Runs and plays without a care in the world. The other weekend we had to bring our dogs to a kennel for a few days when we went out of town and he did well there. So as I stated I think it is primarily territorial but do not want to take the chance of him hurting another dog or getting hurt by bowing up to the wrong dog. Let me start off by saying that I come from an uneducated family and I have been formally diagnosed with ADD (the non-hyper version of ADHD), an anxiety disorder, and a hyper-sensitive temperament (in today's world they may have said I was born autistic). The reason I bring all this up is because I am about to confess some things that you all might say "uh, common sense says you shouldn't do this" but consider the above; my bag of marbles is (and will always be) missing a few for a complete set. So let me tell you how my wife is controlling and you can tell me if this is "normal" behavior, or if it is her taking charge and forcing me into a submissive role (potentially out of fears of her own or she is just the type of person who secretly craves power who knows). I am going to make it #'ed so you can reference it easier. 1) She MUST have control over all the finances. Even before she got her degree in accounting, she wanted to be the one in charge of all the money. She pays the bills. She determines what gets paid and when. She determines the budget. She must ok any luxuries. Overall, anything dealing with the in and out of money, she makes it mandatory that she handles that. And considering how much debt we have, I don't think she is doing it responsibly. She just doesn't trust me with HER money (notice I said her not our). I allowed this because of the convenience of her already being on the computer anyways, why not let her do all the online banking for us. But unknowingly, I willingly gave up my power and now I have no way to dangle this carrot above her and make her fight for it. 2) She REFUSED to give up her checking account when we merged bank accounts. Mind you, my bank account was 4 years old and hers was 4 months old, but the only way I was going to get her to merge an account with me was if I closed my account and had myself put as a secondary account holder on her new account. Her excuse was that she just ordered checks with the new address and she didn't want to have to order new ones for my account. Mind you, the checks are free to order through the bank and they needed to add my name on the checks anyways so new checks had to be printed regardless. Just another power play in her book of winning everything. 3) She MUST be involved in all of MY decisions but never includes me when SHE makes decisions, especially ones involving the kids. I can't change anything in her life actually without her prior approval. But she can make up pedantic, unrealistic, irrational new rules to our marriage and the kids lives without any prior notice or discussion with me. Not only is this disrespectful, but it's double standards. Again, just another power play... 4) She MAKES me do all the extra work because she makes more than me. It's not my fault I didn't go to college; I was busy working a 60-100 hour a week job and didn't have time. And once I got fired I was too depressed to go! She gets an associate's degree in accounting and then expects me to take all the peon work because she is part of a different class now. She can't be bothered with laundry or vacuuming, or doing the trash; that's all servant work and she is so NOT servant. And what excuse does she have for making me "You get a job that pays as much as me and I'll start doing it, but until then..." She acts like she wants a submissive slave then later complains I'm not masculine enough. Uh, no sh*t I'm not masculine, you keep taking it away from me! 5) She DEMANDS respect but never gives it! I'm not allowed to cuss, ignore her, or interrupt her and I must be attentive, positive, and pleasant; but she's allowed to ignore me, play on her phone when I'm talking, and use passive-aggression and is allowed to be inattentive, pessimistic/cynical, and bossy/grouchy. I put my foot down for respect and she punishes me for letting her know she's crossed the line; she puts her foot down for respect and I give her the respect she deserves and apologize. She has only apologized to me a handful of times our entire 13 year relationship/marriage. So what can I do to end her power trip? Having self respect doesn't seem to be working and demanding respect isn't either. I'm open to suggestions. more

Open Question: Genital Warts...can be Suppressed?

Everyones got their situation, so heres mine. When i noticed these warts i did not know them to be genital warts. I thought of them as just bumps. So i yahoo answered bumps on my pubic area, my results were ingrown hairs or using a razor from facial shaving. So i thought nothing of it and i ripped them off, took a while but they all came off. It was just one big wart and small little ones around it in various places. Just my pubic area not on my penis. Some came back and i repeated the process and since then, nothing has been back. its been about 4 months of no warts. I only knew them to be genital warts after i saw a picture of it, i guess since it wasnt on my penis i wasnt worried. now i am however. I went and got tested for STDs. I got HIV, Gono, Hep ABC, Syph, Trich ,Chlam,and all came back negative. I spoke with my doctor and he told me that he could not check for HPV simply because there was nothing to examine. I told him that i had a wart on my knee once and he told me that that is a form of HPV. I freaked out mentally. But then he made a point that little kids have warts, does that mean theyre sexually active? no its just a virus. So i asked about genital warts. And he said that genital warts are from strans 6&11. That its more dangerous for woman than for men. I plan on getting vaccinated soon, not for the hope that itll cure me cause i know it wont, but so things dont get worse and lead to cancers. My main concern is for my girlfriend. Her and I have not had sex and i plan to never have sex again till i get married. However after doing research i read about how you can infect your partner and give her a chance of getting warts and possibly cancer. I talked to her about it and she was really mad at the news, but said she got vaccinated with all three doses when she was younger. I do not...I DO NOT want to give anything to anyone with the slightest chance of harming them or their health. I want to marry her, i want to have a family with her, i want to be a father one day and have a good healthy sex life. I read that many couples have HPV but they have to use condoms. I would be devastated if every time we have sex, a month or so later my wife has a wart, I know you cant bounce the virus back and fourth, you cant get something you already have, idk i just dont want to harm her even if its just once, but i guess i have to face reality and face that fact i probably will. But hopes got high when i started doing more research. I came across some information about how they say HPV can be suppressed pretty good because of your immune system. That if you were clean for 2-3 years, your odds of giving someone a wart are very slip. Again, my warts have not come back (knock on wood). I guess what im really looking for here are words of encouragement and good news. I know that millions of people are diagnosed with different stans of HPV every year and that most sexually active people will get something. I dont want that so im not having sex again till marriage. If she ever decides she wants to be with me after all the awful things ive put her through. I do not want to harm her and give her a chance of cancer. I know women get checked up at their gyno or whatever. I just idk....i guess im just pissed I have something like this. I dont even know 100% i have it cause again...the doc couldnt see anything cause i ripped them off. But im 99.9% sure that i do since it was a wart on my pubic area. 1+1=2. I know there are worse things in the world but this is something I really wish i didnt have. I also know there is no test for men when its comes to HPV, that mostly woman get tested cause theyre the most at risk.I hope one day there is a cure for men too. So if anyones got some words of encouragement and some new facts i didnt add or just some good news. Leave me a comment. Hello Yahoo. I am a resident of The Lone Star State where everything cannabis related is the devil. I wish to provide some insight about myself to see if I would even qualify as a patient. If I am being stupid, please let me know so I won't harm the reputation of actual patients. Conditions: Inconsistent sleep patterns, anxiety, terrible asthma, and slight depression. Please allow me to elaborate. -Sleep: Growing up I believed that the normal human being wakes up numerous times throughout the night. On average..I wake up about 10 times. Sometimes falling asleep is the issue. I have tried Zzzquil, Tylenol PM, adjusting my sleep pattern (attempted to anyways), and steered clear of electronics to reduce brain activity, which did nothing. I also took DOUBLE the required dosage of Zzzquil for an adult and I was up for another 3-4 hours. If at best, any sleep aid on the shelf just reduces the amount of time I wake up. Probably down to 5-6 at best. I didn't really begin smoking regularly until the past couple of months and....I have never slept so well in my life. I almost forgot what it was like to wake and actually feel RESTED. It is a beautiful feeling. I can actually have a proper thought process without feeling run down and fatigued. -Asthma: When I was younger I almost died 3 times due me not being able to breathe properly as a child. 2-3 years ago we had a test done and it turns out I have about a 1/3 the normal lung capacity to that of an average human. Based on my research, Sativas strongly aid in this department. I cannot tell you how amazing it is to actually take a full breath! We do not know what causes my capacity to be so low, but after I have consumed it's as if my lungs can inflate to no bounds. There's no wheezing of any sort and it's one of the greatest feeling in the entire world to me. You never really learn to appreciate the proper intake of oxygen... -Anxiety/Depression: The past couple of years my anxiety/depression has been on the rise. It has gone so far as to affect my grades. Last semester I had my first freak out during a test. LITERALLY panicked. I felt as if I couldn't do the work. I feared of trying and failing. Confidence just went out the window. I spent the entire day trying to deduce the cause. That brings up another thing. Whenever I'm low, my thought process is literally just crap. I can't pay attention long enough to take in and store information properly. Whenever I'm high, every piece of information I hear is processed and stored in it's correct place. Whenever I started smoking regularly the past couple of months....my grades went up. This case may just be special to me... So I was having a conversation with some girls online and we were commenting about a picture that had something to do with a child never born, which was a weeping woman. Some of the girls said infertility.. or a miscarriage, one said "or an abortion". I commented "nah, she's weeping, probably infertility or miscarriage. An abortion usually isn't something a woman regrets, unless she was forced to and wasn't her will" Needless to say, I am now hated by a group of women cause of that comment. The insults and rage were out of this world and caught me by surprise. But I don't get it, i've met many women who had an abortion for X or Y reason in all sort of age bracets, even a married woman who decided with her husband to abort their first baby cause they were financially really bad and wouldn't be able to support it (today, years after, they've had a kid but no idea if they'll have another), but in the end of the day they didn't have the child for a reason, not because they had nothing to do on monday morning... Where I live, abortions were never banned and it's even covered by public health insurance, so i can't relate to the hype "my body-my choice". But I also don't understand, if an abortion would be something a woman would be devastated about, why even go through with it? or why fight for the right to have an abortion if it's that awful?Additional note: I haven't had one myself. On the contrary I'm having difficulties conceiving for no apparent reason. But I still don't hate or get mad at those who have accidents and have an abortion. Open Question: Name ideas for a story?

The plot of the story is basically a group of demons finds the girl and decides to take her in and raise her. And in the start of the story they bring in another human girl who becomes the girls friend kinda sorta(More like big sister/little sister friendship then friend friends aha). The story takes place in like a different world. Where there is no technology/electronics. And people live in villages, not cities. The demons/girl lives in the mountains in little huts and such made out of like, animal hides/logs/ect. And the demons aren't even human-like. They are pretty creepy. So since it's a different universe, strange names are definitely okay, like fantasy names. Or even words in different languages like Latin, Greek, etc. Or even totally made up names. -She's 16 at the start of the story(But she's already lived with the demons for years). She has a height of 5'2" with a thin build. Waist length straight black hair. Usually worn down or in a ponytail. Her skin is light but it has a slight tan to it and her eyes are gold-ish brown.. She's quite passive-aggressive and has a habit of occasionally stretching the truth. She adores kids. -The girl that gets brought in in the beginning of the story, She's 8/9 at the start, on the shorter side, average weight. Has wavy dark brown hair always worn down, and brown eyes. She's also pale. She's quite shy at the beginning of the story but after spending some time with the other girl she gets more out-going and such. I'd also appreciate just a random list of names for the demons/side characters. Lol. And if you want, why do you think the demons should take the girl in? Before you begin to read when I write im known to write heaps (it helps I want to be a author) I go off topic alot, hang in there dear readers. You have been Warned. I look over at William heaps I dont know why I feel the need to lately - or why I never used to - but many times I look up to see him looking right back at me, only most of the time he quickly darts his eyes away blushing and I wish he keapt contact for no particular reason, sometimes its exactly the same just with our action swapped other times we do keep contact I dont think either of us has any expression on our faces until one of us smiles & we both look away back into the real world, I dont even think when our eyes are locked I just forget whats going on around us I have no idea what hes thinking, the way I feel makes me think somewhere inside me that I do have feelings for him as in more than friends but how he feels I again have no idea, that he doesn't let go of the contact either must mean something right? We are both 15 we have been close friends since 12 & known each other for about a year before I have a 'problem' well an issue with trust I need to have a conection with someone before we get close maybe to make me feel equal to that person, with William he gained my trust when my mum got cancer & I found out his mum died of the same type of cancer my mother has (she died when he was 10 my mum is OK now its been 2 years since she survived thanks to chemptherapy) smart readers might think since I have such an "issue" with trust why did he find out about my mums illness, it slipped hes smart and figured out the rest we have been close ever since. Open Question: What glasses should this actor wear to portray and character? And does the actor fit the part?

Part I: For my horror/slasher film "Canadian Horrorfest" we begin filming on April 26th and I was just wondering what glasses would look better on the actor I have chosen to play the lead role of Alex Wesson (the protagonist). Which glasses look better? Glasses number 1 (they're 3d glasses from the movie theatre spray painted black) or glasses number 2 (I bought them off an costume store online) Part II : The casting process was a timely process but I had to make sure that each actor fitted the role they would be playing in the film. I was wondering if I had picked the right actor to play Alex Wesson, I was scared out of my skin because he did a superb job but does he fit the part? ... Here's the description of the character from the script: "ALEX WESSON, 16 years old. Boyishly handsome but hides it behind glasses. Innocent face with green eyes. Nice dark hair. Skinny frame with an athletic build. Resembles Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker from Spiderman." Alex Wesson's back story: Alex Wesson was born on April 1st, 1991 also on April Fools Day (film is set in 2007) in Wakefield, Ontario to Kenneth and Cynthia Wesson. Alex is also the older brother of Brandon Wesson. Alex was an adorable child and grew into an attractive teenager. Was popular at Wakefield High School but was shy at the same time. On January 1st (New Years Day) Alex's father Kenneth dressed as a scarecrow murdered Cynthia because of the double life she was leading as working as a st riper at strip club called the Slick Pimp. Kenneth also murdered Brandon because he didn't want any witnesses. Kenneth was about to murder Alex but Alex unexplained/luckily survives. Months pass and another person dressing as a scarecrow murders teenagers in Wakefield who are friends or acquaintances of Alex in a systematic manner by murdering them on holidays ie. Halloween, Christmas Day, April Fools Day etc. taking on the identity of "Holiday". Alex discovers all the names of the victims who were murdered decipher a message saying "Alex Wesson will die on his birthday" Alex's birthday is April 1st (April Fools Day). The climax of the film Alex tries to escape the peril unfolding around him and his friends and even a confrontation to Holiday unmasking who the killer is ... you'll have to see the movie when it comes out." As I said, filming for the movie takes place on April 26th and concludes to sometime in May or June. The film is booked to have it's world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival this September and at the Montreal World Film Festival as well in that month. Open Question: Cheer leading questions?

I was very disappointed because I really loved the cheer team. They seemed very serious and eager to get first in the competitions and perhaps get to worlds next year. Unfortunately my family can't afford all star cheer leading this year (the cost was about 1700 dollars a year, plus the costs of private lessons to get my tumbling where it needs to be) so I'm kind of disappointed. I'm starting high school next fall and they do have a cheer team, but I'm not sure if high school cheer will be right for me. 1. Does high school cheer compete? 2. Does high school cheer stunt, tumble, etc like all star? 3. If high school cheer doesn't compete, are there cheaper alternatives where I can compete? I hope you understand what I'm asking! Open Question: Why does my friend always copy me?

Ever since we were little she would copy me. When we were pretty little, she would get all of the webkinz I wanted and she forgot her password so she literally changed her username to mine but with a different number at the end ( my username: mccat2 her username: mccat3 ) and I told her that its MCcat because its my initials and she just said she couldn't think of anything to change it to. Anyways, now she copies the things I say, how I dress, and what I like. I wanted to dye my hair so she did. I wanted a scene hairstyle (don't judge me lol) so I got my haircut cut with side swept bangs and about 2 weeks later she got a haircut with the EXACT same bangs as I have. I love cats, now she loves cats. The same thing happened with my little pony (I'm a brony), she says she's a brony yet she's never seen the show. I used to wear hoodies ALL the time and she still wears them all the time. Why does she do this and what can I do to get her to stop? I'm a freshman about to finish my year off and I was going to take world history over the summer until I found out the class is full. I started to think about taking geometry and I am doing algebra 1-2 right now and it's my second year taking it. I took algebra in 8th grade but failed the finals and I had to retake it. I want to take geometry so I can get algebra 3-4 next year. Most of my pals are all in geometry and I had to take another year of algebra. Would it be a good idea? Open Question: Upgrading my 4-year-old home office PC to a budget gaming PC. Help!?

Hey guys, So I've decided to try to upgrade my home office-oriented PC that I bought in 2009 to a budget gaming PC. I pretty much just want to run World of Warcraft smoothly, which has become a bigger issue since Mists of Pandaria came out, and would also like to run some CAD software that's able to support larger-scaled models (opening some larger Google SketchUp files take forever, and sending them out to LayOut is terrible). Here are my PC's current specs: MoBo: Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3LR Processor: Intel Core2 Quad 8400 GPU: Asus 1GB NVIDIA GT610 PSU: Corsair VS450 (which I just bought last week, and I thought should be fine for my PC, but now not so sure?) HDD: Seagate barracuda 7200.12 500GB And 2 sticks of 2GB NANYA DDR2 RAM I've been trying to research what to do to and so far I've decided to get a new case first (as this case has terrible airflow, and allows for little to no cable management), then graphics card, then 2 more 2GB sticks of DDR2 RAM, then leave the MoBo, DDR3 RAM, and processor until next year. Is this recommended, or is another route more beneficial? What I'm thinking of at the moment is Corsair 200r Carbide case, followed by a Gigabyte 1GB GTX650ti OC gaphics card, then the extra 4GB of DDR2 RAM. What's important is that this holds on for the rest of the year, and then I can do some more upgrades next year. It would be great if you guys can recommend some better or more appropriate components for around that price range. Also, I can hear some sort of buzzing noise coming from my HDD when my PC is on. Should I replace and, and if so how would I do it so I keep all my files and stuff? Would I need to re-install Windows 7? Sorry for all the questions, but I really want to get this out of the way and know what I've got to do ASAP. Thanks in advance! more

I remember reading it in 8th grade. It was about a different world, a world where like everything was restricted. Family's could only have 2 kids because of overpopulation or something, but there were some families who had more than 2 kids but had to hide them from getting taken away. The main character was a boy of a family like this, and his family always had to keep him hidden. He lived in the attic. Well he ends up meeting a girl who is in the same situation he is, and they discover they are both the 3rd kid of their families. They were neighbors. Something like that, it's all I remember. Open Question: Girlfriend left me, planning to kill myself?

There's a ton of questions like this here, but my case is different. She was my world, everything that made me happy. She was the only person who gave a shit about me, even my parents don't care like she did. We matched each other perfectly and complimented each other so well. And then one day we started fighting. I don't know how it exactly escalated, but she broke up with me, saying she couldn't be in a committed relationship (despite having been with me for almost 2 years) and needed time for herself. It's been 8 days since she broke up with me, and it's been everything I could do not to kill myself, but I think its won. I just can't find a meaning in my life anymore.I've already talked to her about if it was just a time problem; she just doesn't feel like she wants to be in a relationship anymore.
