I'm sorry this is so long. This is the first time I've put my feelings down in writing.
Like many people, I have a lot of obligations and little time to do the things I want. But unlike them, when I do make time, I find myself not enjoying them. My thoughts are always on needs, not wants. I have a job that I intensly dislike, co-workers who are unhappy or angry and uncooperative, a house that I'm constantly cleaning but never quite finishing. There's shopping, planning/cooking meals, laundry, trash, dishes, home repairs, etc., you know, the usual. Right now we're in the process of pulling up old carpet and linoleum to be replaced with laminate wood floors. When I'm working on the floors, I'm thinking about the dirty dishes in the sink, the laundry in the baskets, the ironing I still need to do, the clothes I need to take in because I've lost weight, the back deck that needs cleaning, the curtains I need to sew, the lunches I need to prepare for work; I'm thinking about what lies ahead when I go back to work on Monday. Is it going to be another overwhelming stress-filled workload as usual or will it be a more managable day? How many problems will I have to deal with? What do I need to pick up at the store before going home? Will I be off in time to cook dinner for my husband, or will I be there long after the rest of the business office has gone home? Do I have anything ironed to wear to work the next day? What can I buy my sister for her birthday? I better go check the litterbox.
Since I can't leave my job (there's nothing else available but I'm still looking) and the other obligations won't take care of themselves, what can I do to regain some interest in life but still take care of the things that have to be done? I'm sure other people have similar obligations but they seem to be able to enjoy time for themselves. I just feel guilt because I can't keep up. I'm tired when I come home from work. The amount of work I get done after work and on my days off is miniscule compared to what needs to be done.
I'm feeling guilty as I type this. I need to paint the baseboards, load the dishwasher, clean the stove and countertops, the microwave has splattered food that needs to be cleaned, my tub/shower and toilet needs to be scrubbed and I need to scrape off some silicone and re-seal my shower tiles. I really need to vacuum up the dog hair in the bedroom and finish pulling up the carpet in the hallway. I still have carpet tack strips to pull up and areas of the floor that have to be leveled before we can put down the new floor.
I'm so tired but sleep doesn't come easily. What can I do to enjoy life again?
Enough typing. I better get to work.Thank you all so much for your kind responses. I was a housekeeper for more than 20 years and even owned my own business in California. Believe me, I've had to learn shortcuts. I also have a fair amount of DIY experience. If I don't know how to do something, I know where to find the information I need. I've troubleshot and repaired our heat pump, dishwasher, washing machine, replaced our garbage disposal, helped build two decks, helped put together a storage shed, painted, laid carpet, removed wallpaper, and the list goes on. I'm also well-versed on setting priorities which is why I get anything done at all. I still have a long list that doesn't fall into the daily or weekly priority list. This list has barely been touched and when I do accomplish something on it, then something on my daily or weekly list suffers. Therein lies my problem. Too many "jobs", too little time. I still don't know how to revive my enthusiasm for other things in life.

Her mobile phone used to be in the living room constantly, now I don't remember the last time I saw it. Also I was home during the day one time recently and her work girl friend called our house phone. I answered and she, (obviously thinking I was my mother) said, "You are driving that man crazy!" in a really sexy giggly voice. When I told my mum she gave me this dumb excuse about her friend meaning to call someone else. The way she's been treating my dad recently has been awful. She's so sarcastic and malicious towards him, she shows no affection for at all and they're constantly bickering. I'm 16 and have a 14 year old brother. I'm pretty sure my dad has noe idea, her trusts her so completely and it's heartbreaking. I'd rather them just get a divorce then have to watch her do this to him. I don't want to be the only one in the family who knows. I can't respect or trust her and I'm sad because of it all the time. I feel like I'm the only person to ever be going through this! I don't know what to do. Should I confront them? Separately? Not say anything at all?

Please give ideas and tell me how you try to not be wasteful. I was brought up to be extremely careful but now, in old age with prices constantly rising, it makes even more sense now to not be wasteful than it did back then.Arbiter, that depends on the product of course but some things can be re-sealed or can be kept until the next day at least. I often eat the same thing two days in a row for that reason. So I'm 36 weeks and one day pregnant with my first.
Saturday, I cleaned my entire house from 10pm to 2:30am and scrubbed everything! I couldn't resist that urge, so obviously that was nesting. Starting around midnight that night I started having a backache.
The next morning I could barely walk and I had been woken up by more-painful-than-normal BH contractions. I got up and took a warm bath and got on with my day, which was grocery shopping. The contractions started up but weren't easily time-able or anything, but they started in my back and spread and my stomach would get rock hard. But I could walk through them and all that so I kept going. Got home, rested.
Well I noticed that discharge (TMI warning), had stopped nearly completely! Which was very strange because it has been increasing... well I drank water and continued to rest and went to bed. I was still having on and off BH but could sleep through them.
The baby HAS dropped, hasn't been moving as much (but he is moving) and all but I'm not due until May 12.
And the whole "lightning crotch" thing, which I was told is the baby grabbing the cord, has become MUCH more common and very painful.
I woke up this morning to the same stuff but less contractions, BH or otherwise... but I noticed that I'm having very clear, thin, not mucusy discharge? Not a lot but it's leaving little wet spots in my panties and doesn't have much of a smell, something very, very faintly sweet but that's really it.
It's VERY different than normal so it's very confusing.
I know no one is a doctor on here lol and if anything changes I'm calling L&D and I'm just seeing if anyone has gone through any of this stuff, and can give me any insight on what went on when they went through it?

5.) I usually just clear my face with water and then drop off to bed.

So basically, my routine is:
Get up, have a shower, wash my hair with shampoo. Then conditioner. Leave it for 5 mins, wash it out. Comb it through for 5 mins.
Go upstairs. Put volumising hair mousse on,put heat protectant spray on..Blow dry my hair for about 20 miniutes.
Then I put moisturiser, skin creams, lotions, and skin treatments on. (This takes 20 miniutes)
I then put concealer, lipstick, lipgloss, eyeliner and mascara on. (This takes half an hour)
I also paint my nails like every week. This usually takes half an hour-an hour everytime.
(I do patterns on them)
Is this normal?

About three years ago, 2 tube shaped lightbulbs fell from the ceiling in my friend's shop and they shattered and broke. I still see the person who was in the garage that day. My question: Is he at all exposed to any harm and is he piitting other people in danager 3 years later? I feel like everything he touches or walks by is "contaminted" and needs to be scrubbed hard. Even the chair or table he sits at or anything he comes into contact with. At the time it happened I was outside of the garage, so am I myself fine?

CHAPTER 1
It was a dark night. It was as quiet as a mouse. You could only hear the slight beep of crickets . Catini, Ari, and Julin were all sleeping on the floor covered with straw blankets.
My name is, Ruby. We live in a place called Amnesia. Our huts are divided by zip codes. My brother and sister Ari and Julin are both 11, i'm three years older . Sometimes Ari and Julin and I talk about how much we wanna leave. Our mother, Catini doesn't love us like dad did. Too bad he is gone.
'Ruby, go to sleep they may hear you.' Catini our mother said. Her black hair blended in with the darkness of the night.
'Mother, I can't bear sleeping in such darkness! Why can't we get a light like everyone else in Amnesia?' I stood up wobbly as a tear trickled down my pale face. I can't wait to get out of Amnesia. I'll do whatever it takes. I looked around the dark hut, I could tell everyone was fast asleep. I felt like going to sleep too.
I woke up at dawn and everyone was outside doing house work. I put on my white t-shirt and put on some old blue jeans and headed outside.
'Ruby, it's about time you have awoken. You need to go fetch some water from the lake.' Catini said while pulling the weeds. Ari was cooking dinner, while Julin was scrubbing the floor with a dirty old sponge. I rolled my eyes, I can't live with her shes evil.
I put my sleek brown hair in a tight bun, and went over to the lake. The lake was clear blue with no polution at all. I took our bottles and filled them with water. On the way back I saw famlies playing, and looking happy. Ari Julin and I will never be that happy if only father was alive.
'Did you get the water?' Catini asked, she wore a blue bandana and a light blue dress with a apron hanging over. I just smiled and passed Catini the bottles. She passed a bottle to Ari and Julin. I walked inside the hut and grabbed my gray zipper bag and filled it with clothes, food, and my gun for hunting.
'Ari Julin and I are going hunting mother. C'mon guys!' Catini didn't seem to care. She just waved us off. I sighed. I miss you dad we all do.
'Ruby?' Ari said she sounded like she was weak but she walked fine. She looked fine. I remember how dad used to take us into town, and take us to the pin shop. I breathed in the fresh air and looked at Ari.
'What is it sister?' I waited a minute for a response. Ari and Julin sighed like they were hiding something. Julin and Ari pulled up their ripped shorts and revealed an open wound. The wound had dry blood around it. The wound looked infected and painful.
' Oh no! Did mom do this? We need to go into town. Right next to the pin shop there should be a hospital.' I was suprised, sure mom is selfish and a brat, but she never hit Ari and Julin. I hugged them both tightly. How am I going to leave with two injured children?Beautiful Nightmare did you bother reading it? I did edit it so please stop lying. i am 17 years ols (almost ) and i started getting really severe acne since i was in the seventh grade and i took pills and creams and stuff for it, and then we discovered that i ad polysistic ovaries or however you write that and that plays a really big role in acne. so i started taking the hormone thingie pills and the acne almost 95% disappeared but now, after ive stopped them, i have so much acne on my chest, neck and back, and my face is the worst of them all i get a lot of big hurtfull pimples and breakouts mostly on my jaw line, cheeaks and forehead and the whole t-zone thing. i use the tee tree oil set from the body shop, it was working really well when i started using it but now its like my skin is immune to it! and for my chest and back i am using a sea salt scrub and cleanser very other day ( thats when i take a sower ) so can you please help, because acne is ruining my life ! and i live in a small town in germany so somethings might not be available here.

Hi, i'm 14 years old and I am looking for a really good party this year. I'm kind of into the cheap childish party's at the moment i'm not sure why but I don't want a party at my house because no one will dance or the house will get trashed. Last year I had playzone which was well fun, but loads of my friends argued that they didn't get an invite and they decided to come without an invite and you can go to playzone anyway and loads of people kept getting hurt and their parents where going to sue us so that's an idea out. Because of the incident about my fish and frog going missing i decided to put my last frog into my betta tank. I looked it up and it said they are fine with bettas. When I put him in my betta kinda lingered around him a little. I guess checking him out. Because he's been in isolation so long I guess he just was being protective because this morning I found him dead. I know for a fact he's not an African dwarf clawed frog but I think my betta might have killed him... He usually didn't eat and maybe that's why he died... I always tried feeding him when he swam up to the top of the tank but maybe he didn't notice. I just thought maybe he wouldn't eat when he was around me so I thought he would eat it when I left but I would always come back and he would still just stare at the food then swim down... I don't know maybe he didn't like the food and died of starvation but I'd like to know if my betta might have killed him..Also it looks as if he may have been attacked...
