Can anybody suggest free software that will scan for and remove Alternate Data Streams? I know that you can run a script to do it but I'm looking for a program that I can download and use. 26kb to 400kb attached to any file downloaded from the internet adds up to a lot of wasted space.
You can't usually see alternate data streams in windows. (They're normally hidden from view).Pall Mall, I don't wish to delete any files just the alternate data streams contained within the files - leaving the originals intact. Your link just points to a file deletion utility and that won't work.

I'm new to kayaking and have decided to buy a sit-on-top kayak to start out with and decide whether or not I like the sport. That being said, I don't want to invest tons of money into something that I might only use a couple of times this summer. Having looked at all my options, I have narrowed down the search to two kayaks and was hoping for any advice or input on which is the better one.
The first one is the Pelican Sonic 80x (http://www.pelicansport.com/index.php?language=en&category=kayaks&nauticalboat=KOF11P109) which is currently on sale for $200, and the second is the Pelican Apex 100 (http://www.pelicansport.com/index.php?language=en&category=kayaks&nauticalboat=KOF10P100) which is also on sale but for $250.
I understand that that these are quite lower-end and I only intend to use them in small, closed lakes and recreationally just to chill out on the water with friends. I don't plan on using the kayak to go on hardcore expeditions or anything like that. I am also shorter than average and not heavy so that should not be a problem.
That being said, I am leaning towards buying the Sonic 80x just because it can easily fit inside my van and is slightly cheaper. I was just wondering whether the Apex 100 is significantly better than it or if the two are pretty much equivalent since both are the lowest end ones out there. Any help would be much appreciated. About a month or two ago, I was playing with one of my gerbils and I accidentally dropped her onto the hardwood floor. Her leg broke... It hasn't mended since, which saddens me. I tried to take her to a vet but there are none in my area that take small animals.
Now I was playing with my gerbil's daughter and noticed that she keeps dragging both of her hind legs, similar to how her mom did when her leg broke except a bit different (i.e. she keeps dragging them while the other gerbil's leg is sticking out to the side, stiff). Did she break her legs too? Or is she just injured? If so, what do I do about this?@Ramona - Thing is, the first gerbil's leg broke because she fell onto the floor... It wasn't from being played with. I'm not sure what happened with the second one. I don't play all that rough with them. I feel really bad, though. Neither of them seem to be in much pain either. They move around in their tank just fine.Oh my God... The second gerbil is trying to bite her legs off! She's bleeding all over the tank! I don't know what to do and I can't get to a vet for hours! I am working on a script that allows members to search for other members and as part of the filtering procedure I would like to add Min & Max Age range that the user can select from the drop down menu as numbers (18,19,20,22 etc)...
The distance (Longitude & Latitude) works correctly with no issues.
My Date of Births are stored in a MySQL database in a table called 'member_active' and the column name is 'dob' stored as DD-MM-YYYY.
Here is my SQL statement :

I am using Dreamweaver CS5 (a little out of date i know).
I have created a form in an HTML page and would like the results of the form to get sent to my own personal email address.
The site is hosted on 000webhost (if this makes a difference) at the moment when i press the submit button on the form it attempts to bring up the built in email client on my computer.
I've been told i need to use PHP but after trying endlessly on Google to search for a tutorial i cannot find anything.
If someone can talk me through that would be great. I'm not a technical person so could you let me know exactly what i need to do once ive set up the form in Dreamweaver (also if building the form on a blank HTML page is correct or if i should be building on a PHP page etc)

Last year i was talking to someone i knew on ICQ, but when i went to talk to her again she was offline.. and has not got back online since around the start of may/june last year. So i have done some searching of her profile D.O.B and name but have not been able to find her with that info.
I searched her ICQ number on google and this page came up http://www.profirst.biz/Enweb/bbs/member.php?action=profile&uid=47840 that is some profile that looks odd, but has her ICQ number on there with completely different profile information. It also seems like that account was registered not long after my friend disappeared from ICQ.
So is it likely the account was hacked or what?, i am still looking for her but i do not have much info to go on.. my last attempt would be to pay a private investigator to check around uni's in her country for her first name and D.O.B to try and get matches to her ICQ account.
I am beginning to question whether the person i talked to was who she said she was. But she seemed honest, and there is a photo on the ICQ profile etc.. so it just seems odd how she has not been online all this time, and the ICQ # appears on that page.

is there a formula to work out the sum of such a series as when I try to use the typical arithmetic series formula they do not work, and while for that specific example you can just add up all the terms as there are only 5 but if you had a lot more terms a formula would be very helpful. My calculator can work such series out so I would assume there is a formula to do it, but I could not find such a formula but I may have been searching for the wrong thing.
Also if the series is say from 1 to n is there a way to get an equation in terms of n I know how to do such a thing for normal series just not ones involving abs is there a way to manipulate it to get it to normal numbers or do you have to use a completely different system.

I live in a college town that is pretty decent( East Tennessee State University). I don't want to live at home, so my friend and I were going to rent an apartment together. I didn't want to live in a dorm because I've heard you had to share a shower and stuff, and I'm very against that.
Then I searched through the dorms that ETSU offers. They have one particular dorm that has a separate bathroom for you and one roommate. You each get a room, which is great, since I'm messy and don't want to have a roommate that lives in my room.
What are the pros and cons of living in a co-ed dorm? It's cheaper than living in an off campus apartment, that's for sure.

ok my dad dislikes cats, we have 3 teenish cats running around, and 2 strays who we think are neighbor cats. the 3 are the 2nd litter belonging to velcrow, a stray who wandered up to our porch as a kitten. the first litter we think are alive somewhere, a friend owns one who made kittens with a stray that lives there. velcrow had kittens again, 2nd time, and those are the three that lived here now, dad had my brother shoot velcrow over the assumption she was pregnant. he also said that hed shoot any other cats that get pregnant here. i just went to our garage and found 3 newborn kittens that belong to the only female in the second litter. if my dad finds out, hell shoot them and the mom.
are there any places or people in michigan that will take in newborn kittens? we cant keep them and i know of two ppl who MIGHT take them in. but in case they wont, knowing of any places or ppl who would take them in would be more than epic
