Could Hackers Hijack the Space Station?
Voyager 2 was 5.02 billion, and while they were (and indeed, still are) beaming back information about the deepest reaches of the solar system, it was hardly the kind of picture-rich data-stream that requires a full-blown mission control team to manage.

moreResolved Question: How did Voyager 1 jump from planet to planet?
OK. I have brought the issue of Voyager 1 on many occasions, so I have another. If the planets were (about) lined up when Voyager took off from the launch pad, how was it able to do the "Slingshot" effect when planets are continually on the move. Wouldn't the planets be unaligned by the time the spacecraft would have reached Neptune, and most likely Jupiter? Also, If the spacecraft is traveling more than 30,000 miles per/hour how was it able to take clear pictures of Neptune when Neptune is about 31,000 miles in diameter? If the probe was miles and miles away from the planet and the camera zoomed in to take the picture that means the camera would have to be on at all times moving side to side searching for the planet, how were they able to find the planet and "zoom" in to take the picture?Actually, let me restructure the last question: How were they able to find the planet TO "zoom" in to take the pictures?*Nonaligned@Choco: OK, smarty pants, then answer my question.@george: you do know that it took the spacecraft about 10 years to reach neptune, right? so, within those 10 years you're telling me the planets were to still lined up? I don't think so.Did I say 10 Years? I said, "about 10 years"and what do you mean by this? : "to take advantage of a once in about a 175 year opportunity to have all 4 gas giants "aligned".So, what you guys are saying is that the probe ITSELFknew what direction to go to after each "sling shot" from one planet to the other, or are you saying that NASA were the ones that controlled the probe's direction?@Kowalski: This comment of yours :"Nasa did have to alter Voyager 2's path a couple of times after each planet to change its course by firing altitude rockets." gets me confused from Morningfox's. From earth they fired rockets (i.e. from some remote control or some button or however they did it)??@ Kowalski: And Patton's comment: "Voyager was far too far away to be directly controlled by anyone. It takes hours for a radio signal to reach that far out. Too long to be directly controlled."You know, every time I ask a question about the space craft there is always conflicting answers.@Patton: "Voyager was far too far away to be directly controlled by anyone. It takes hours for a radio signal to reach that far out. Too long to be directly controlled." I thought NASA were supposed to be geniuses. Couldn't they have sent signals ahead of time, you know all that "calculation" as you guys vehemently insist upon. And because of the conflicting comments, the validity of your answers just went out the window. Now, let me say this,as permeative pedagogy puts it, you really should do a bit of research.@Mikey Mike: I didn't really regress. I just continued on with further questions that I felt needed to be cleared up because there are too many people with answers that contradict other people's answers. Just read Kowalski's and Morningfox's answer, and George's edit.@ Patton: and let me quote again. Nasa did have to alter Voyager 2's path a couple of times AFTER EACH PLANET to change its course by firing altitude rockets." Now, YOU pay attention.Other conflicting comments: Yours' : "By UPLOADING A NEW PROGRAM AHEAD OF TIME LIKE I ALREADY SAID"Kowalski's: AFTER EACH PLANET to change its course BY FIRING ALTITUDE ROCKETS"Excuse me, who is the moron? What did you say in your comment? "By UPLOADING A NEW PROGRAM AHEAD OF TIME"? Hm? Isn't that what YOU said as well? "AHEAD OF TIME"?I asked this, "So, what you guys are saying is that the probe ITSELFknew what direction to go to after each "sling shot" from one planet to the other, or are you saying that NASA were the ones that controlled the probe's direction?"You said this, "The probe didn't "know" anything. It was programmed to orient itself properly. Can't you understand that Voyager is basically just a big computer and was programmed ahead of time to do these things?"I said this, "I thought NASA were supposed to be geniuses. Couldn't they have sent signals ahead of time, you know all that "calculation" as you guys vehemently insist upon."Then you again you said this, "By UPLOADING A NEW PROGRAM AHEAD OF TIME."Then you said this, "LOL, send out signals ahead of time to correct a problem they don't even know exists yet? You sir, are a moron."Now, let me get the last laugh. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!1) NASA realizes a correction is needed. before the launch or after the launch?Because if it was before how could they have possibly known what the problems would be? Or if it was after then why did you laugh at my comment, "Couldn't they have sent signals ahead of time, you know all that "calculation" as you guys vehemently insist upon."?Oh, after. YET, you laughed at my comment because THAT'S exactly what I was talking about when I said "ahead of time."You know, you are really confusing me. You laugh at my comment YET you back up that exact comment you just laughed at with your own explanations. Another one that confuses me:"They will know the correction is needed days, weeks, or even months AHEAD OF TIME."How? Are they fortune tellers?Let me just end it with this because because you seem to be dodging it:Conflicting comments:Yours' : "By UPLOADING A NEW PROGRAM AHEAD OF TIME LIKE I ALREADY SAID"Kowalski's: AFTER EACH PLANET to change its course BY FIRING ALTITUDE ROCKETS" Now, who is right?Like I said before, your conflicting comments tainted everyone else's comment, especially yours Patton. You are right Bobby. Conflicting comments can be confusing.
moreResolved Question: In what year was the Voyager 1 probe sent out to space?
Well, I'm very curious about it since I was reading some of the facts made by the scientist Carl Sagan, he convinced the NASA to take a picture to our planet using the Voyager 1 probe which was 6 billion Km's away, meaning farther than Pluto... I would like to know how long it took for the probe to get so far... Thank you for your answers.

moreResolved Question: Anyone else in the Philippines a skeptic of space probes out in space?
During the the Cold War and the Vietnam War the US government was being funded by the making and the selling of drugs. Now, that people have gotten wise to this scheme they've decided to come up with another: Space Travel?
Just the other day I learned that when NASA received a radio signal, traveling at the speed of light(186,000m/sec), from the spacecraft Voyager which was near Neptune, it took 4hrs. First question came to mind was how long did it take for the spacecraft itself to reach Neptune. So, I did the math.
First the distance and speed:
14,400/sec(4hrs) times 186,000mph/sec(speed of light)=2,678,400,000 miles. I don't know the speed of the aircraft as it traveled through space, but I do know it was launched Sept. 5, 1977
( The show I was watching is old, probably in the late 80's) I'll make a rounded guess; it was launched about 10 years ago from according to the show. That's a 10 year span. Here's the math for speed of the spacecraft: d/t=s 2,678,400,000m/87,400hrs(10years)=30,645…
Could it really be traveling at the speed?
Factors involved:
1. How did they direct the spacecraft to reach Neptune at that amazing speed unscathed? Why didn't it collide with other bodies? Because of its orbit, Voyager would've come across Jupiter and its many moons and most likely other interplanetary debris like the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.
2. Why did it not get pulled into Jupiter's gravitational pull? Any comet, straying in the Kirkwood Gaps, with velocities less than 60km/sec will get pulled in.
(60km/sec=37.20m/sec whereas 3,600sec=1hr)
(3,600sec times 37.20m=133,920.00mph)
Voyager was only traveling at a speed supposedly far less.
3. According to Newtonian Law, "In the absence of force, a body either is at rest or in a straight line with constant speed."
So, what slowed down and completely halted the spacecraft when it reached Neptune? At that amazing speed it could not had possibly taken pictures of the planet.
"As speed increases so too does its mass and weight"
so, lets assume, at minimum, the spacecraft weighed 1000lbs. Do the math.
4. How do spacecrafts survive traveling through The Van Allen Belts?
5. Traveling at that amazing speed and distance the spacecraft would need a very large volume container to carry fuel. If no fuel was used and the gravitational pull from Jupiter was being used to propel the spacecraft what then kind of propulsion was used to boost the spacecraft out of earth's orbit and allowed it to continue at the amazing speed?
6. How did NASA know when the radio signal was sent by Voyager it was even near the vicinity of Neptune?
Does the spacecraft send a message to NASA reading," Hello everyone! I'm here near Neptune!"Instead of unintelligent answers how about some point of views? Please specify exactly where or how I am wrong. You guys are saying I'm ranting but from what I am reading (the answers) it's seems to me that you guys are the ones who are ranting.
moreResolved Question: Voyager 2 will pass by Sirius (8 light years away from Earth) in about 300,000 years. If humans are to be....?
If humans are to be around in 300,000 years (no matter where in space), out of pure "Historical Interest", could they command the spacecraft to take a picture of Sirius and to also use it's other instruments to gather scientific data?
Notice that I'm assuming that Voyager 2 has the capability to operate on solar power (that is of Sirius). Unfortunately it is powered by Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generators: http://voyager.jpl.nasa.gov/spacecraft/instruments_rtg.html
So anyways,
will there be a way for humans 300,000 years from now to "Wake up" Voyager 2? Will the Sirius light be any good to the spacecraft?

The classic resort of Southwold is a haven from the demands of modern life. Alongside the edge estuary of the River Blyth, it has a unique character and a history dating back to the famous battle of Sole Bay in 1672.
With its working lighthouse, beach huts, award-winning pier, busy harbour, cliff top cannon and of course the beach, Southwold is a beautiful unspoilt English resort town.
The landscape includes the River Blyth estuary with its reed beds and saltings, woodlands, open heaths and rolling farmland.
There is a wealth of things to do in and around Southwold; here are just a few of the more popular:
•Coastal Voyager at the harbour offer a range of boat trips, from their high speed "Blast" around Solebay to their gentle cruise up the River Blyth to Blythburgh and back, and the 3 hour cruise to Scroby Sands to visit the seals and see the wind farm there close up.
•Southwold Golf Club is Southwold's own 9-hole golf course. Also open to non-members and visitors to enjoy their facilties.
•The Electric Picture Palace in Southwold shows a wide range of films in a tiny (68 seat) cinema. The Electric Picture Palace is rather special and no visit to Southwold is complete without paying it a visit!

Southwold and surrounding area has a variety of accommodation from cosy, self catering holiday cottages to large family holiday houses, bed and breakfast establishments, guest houses and a good range of inns and hotels as well as some interesting
Camping and Caravan sites
Despite the Great Fire of 1659 which destroyed many pretty buildings. Certainly some older buildings escaped the ravages of the Fire, including the impressive St.Edmund’s Church, which had been completed some two hundred years before.
Quotes about Southwold:
Doris 84 “oh my Southwold is a lovely place, I especially love the green grocers on the corner, just a shame about the buses. Can’t get here on a Sunday afternoon now.”

I have an LG Voyager. A while ago, I dropped my phone one too many times and the screen went blue. I haven't been able to see anything on it since. I've been using another phone for a while now but I really miss this phone, it was much better and I really want to fix it. Everything else still works, I can turn it on and press things and the phone makes it's usual sounds so everything works fine except for the fact that I can't see what I'm doing on the phone because the screen doesn't work. I will most likely take it to a place that can fix it but I was wondering if there was anything I could do on my own to fix this? Also, I really wish I could get the pictures, videos, and sound recordings off of it. I miss those things! I've tried loading it onto my computer but it won't read. Anyway, if you have any ideas please share! I'm really upset about it still, I write my own songs and had a few things recorded for ideas for new songs, but obviously I don't know how to get to them now :(. Please help! I'm pretty desperate!
moreResolved Question: What Verizon cell phone should I get?
I've been with Verizon since my freshman year of high school which was back in December of '08.
Four years later I still have the first real cell phone my parents bought me (the LG Voyager Titanium).
It's been good to me and has lived a long, trouble-free life.
I probably sent and received close to 25,000 text messages in four years and the battery life was fantastic; I only needed to charge it about once a week.
There was sufficient space and the video/picture quality was satisfying as well.
Basically, I had no qualms with the phone whatsoever until about three weeks ago when the screen separated from the keyboard at the hinges. Subsequently, the touch-screen on the front wouldn't respond to my taps or swipes. Also, during phone calls I had to open it fully and use the speaker function because the earpiece stopped working.
Two days ago the screen completely went gray regardless of whether I turned it on or off.
It's obvious the phone is gone for good and it's merely a piece of junk now.
I'm upgrading to something newer and I was considering a smartphone.
I'd like a phone with a full QWERTY keyboard, advanced megapixel, and a long battery life.
Something preferably under $300?
I'm certain that this phone is going to stick around for a while - until I finish undergrad at least.
moreResolved Question: Which is a better phone, the droid or the iphone?
Hi :) So I know there are already many answers out there about whether the iphone or the droid is better but I'm curious as to which one fits my needs/wants. Currently I have the LG Voyager and it's so far my best phone but I've had it for a while and it's starting to wear down. I was thinking about getting the new iphone 5 when it came out but then I saw this commercial thing for the droid and it looked interesting.Along with my phone I also have an ipod touch which I think I use more than my phone for things like checking my email and playing games.
I am someone who texts a lot more than calls and I absolutely love apps, whether they be games or accessories. I love putting up cute little backgrounds on my phone and saving pictures. I would like to be able to go on the internet wherever I am and I also want to be able to watch different videos on my mobile device. I'm not sure if the iphone or droid supports things like adobe flash player but I want a phone that can support something like that for videos and such. I like taking pictures as well.
Which of the devices is good for supporting all of these?
please answer, and thank you in advance!

My school has invited me to go Thorpe Park this year and when i went a couple of years ago with them I was to scared to ride on loads of things (I screamed on the Flying Fish because it leaned to the side and I thought I was going to fall out). I mainly went on the Rumba Rapids because It was the only ride I felt safe on and was having a good time on it.
But my fear of roller-coasters is really upsetting me because this year I only know two people going on the trip and I don't want them to think that I'm boring for not going on hardly anything so I need to get over this fear!!!
I hate them because - I feel sick as I drop, my stomach goes up, I hate seeing how steep the ride actually is, I hate seeing how far the drop is.
But I really want to go on the new ride Storm Surge! But I never realized what it actually looked like. I didn't know it was a huge pipe like that I thought it would be like Rumba Rapids :'(
So far the only thing I am going on is the Saw Live Horror Maze (Love saw best films ever), Rumba Rapids, and Time Voyagers...
So here's what I need:
1) How to overcome this fear !!!
2) A list of rides that don't have large drops or are really high
3) A list of any that I should probably avoid
4) What should I eat before these rides?
And I would just like to say even though this is really embarrassing, last time I went on a steep water-ride with my family (I hate my dad for getting me on it), as I approached the top of the ride I instantly started feeling groggy, then it dropped, and I instantly felt like being sick and felt my stomach move up from where it should be. I thought that was it, then it turned and started heading up again (I really felt like the thing would just drop or break off and I'd be falling backwards like in Final Destination 3) and then the photo-finish. It was a picture of me crying my eyes out and my brother decided to be horrible and bought the photo just so he could show it to everyone with me looking like such a wimp and a baby :'( . I really have to overcome this fear! I can't cry next to my friends!!! They will tell everyone at school!!!
I'm sorry this was really long but for anyone reading this sentence I really appreciate the fact you have read this whole thing so you know the full picture and what I am experiencing. Thank You and I look forward to reading your answers.
And my final question - Have you been on X:/ No Way out? It seems so cool but it seems no one I know has been on it to tell me if there are any drops on the ride!!! I'd feel safer going on it and knowing I'm not going to drop a billion kilometers going backwards!!! So can someone please tell me EXACTLY what happens on the ride. I want to know if there are any drops (even baby ones that aren't worth mentioning) and what happened every second you were on it because I need to know!!!
Thank You :)

Ok, I have a dilemma. I am on ebay and have found some phones. I really really want to stay with the LG phones but... there is a motorola razr that is from a cellular store and money back guarantee if it doesn't work and its practically brand new, comes with charger. It is $30 Now I have had this phone before and got rid of it but I kinda miss it sometimes and its pink which I like. On the other hand... there is an LG chocolate 3 that is from a side seller, no money back guarantee, it is said to be in excellent condition, there is no picture of the inside of the phone but it does come with a free face plate cover and charger and is a couple $ cheaper and I like the blue color. On the other hand when I started out looking for phones on eBay I wanted the enV touch but they are kinda expensive on there, as are the LG Voyagers, both are LG and the kind that I want(touch screen but also qwerty keypad). I am looking at these phones because I don't want a smart phone or a full touch screen anymore. If I wanted the enV or the Voyager, I can work something out with my mom possibly, so which one should I get??? LG Chocolate 3, Motorola Razr v3m, LG enV touch, or the LG Voyager???? Help. This excerpt from A Pale Blue Dot was inspired by an image taken, at Sagan's suggestion, by Voyager 1 on February 14, 1990. As the spacecraft left our planetary neighborhood for the fringes of the solar system, engineers turned it around for one last look at its home planet. Voyager 1 was about 6.4 billion kilometers (4 billion miles) away, and approximately 32 degrees above the ecliptic plane, when it captured this portrait of our world. Caught in the center of scattered light rays (a result of taking the picture so close to the Sun), Earth appears as a tiny point of light, a crescent only 0.12 pixel in size.

A Pale Blue Dot
The Mission Story
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there--on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.
The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds.
Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the Universe, are challenged by this point of pale light. Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves.
The Earth is the only world known so far to harbor life. There is nowhere else, at least in the near future, to which our species could migrate. Visit, yes. Settle, not yet. Like it or not, for the moment the Earth is where we make our stand.
It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known.

moreVoting Question: data plans and switching phones?
My carrier is Verizon. I had a LG Voyager then in March of 2010 I switched to the Motorola Droid. I had to get the unlimited data plan for the Droid. My issue is that I want to switch back to the Voyager for the rest of my school year so that way I focus more on school than my amazing Droid. Would my unlimited data plan be removed if I just switch without telling Verizon people and do the switching myself? or would I have to remove the plan and add it back during the summer when I switch back to my Droid?
ps. I also want to switch back to my Voyager so I can get my pictures off of the phone.

i'm 12 years old (on my mom's account [with her permission of course]) and i'm writing a historical fiction book. here's the preface and first chapter. Please inform me whether you like it or not.
Introduction
Stacey held her mother’s hand tightly as they crept through the streets of Dublin. As they reached the train station, Stacey turned to her mom. She hugged her with all her might, then drew back. Stacey opened the door and gave her mother one last glance before turning away and running to the train. She quickly found a seat with some other girls that looked about her age. Although she knew she would see her mother again soon, she was nervous about not knowing anyone. The conductor collected all the tickets, and Stacey squirmed nervously in her seat. The conductor announced that the train would be departing in one minute, and Stacey got up. She secured her trunk in the over seat compartment, then sat down. Stacey straightened her dress and fixed her hair, then sat still.
“Are you going to America as well?” One girl asked.
“Indeed, I am,” Stacey replied. “I am traveling on the Sea Voyager.” Another girl spoke.
“As our we. My name is Elizabeth, and these are my sisters Isabella and Charlotte.” Stacey looked up.
“My name is Stacey. I’m 12.” Elizabeth spoke once more.
“Isabella and I are 12, and Charlotte here…” she said pointing to the oldest looking girl. “…She’s 13.” Stacey smiled weakly. The Potato Famine had killed her father. It’s 1845, she thought and we still didn’t realize how dumb relying on potatoes alone was. Stacey fell asleep leaning against the window. A few hours later, someone shook Stacey awake.
“The train is arriving in about 5 minutes.” Charlotte announced.
Chapter One
The Sea Voyager
I got off the train, and was met by a short woman. “Miss Stacey McMartia?” she asked, looking me up and down.
“Indeed.” I replied.
“Come with me,” She commanded. I did as I was told, and followed. A young man walked next to me carrying my trunk onto the ship. “This is Mr. Lynch. I leave you in his capable hands,” the woman told me, and swept back to her wagon. Mr. Lynch was a tall skinny man with red hair, green eyes, and a friendly grin on his face.
“Miss McMartia, I am delighted to meet you. If you please, I will escort you to your cabin. Mr. Walsh, please follow us with Miss McMartia’s trunk,” Mr. Lynch said. He led me down some stars and through a bunch of corridors. Finally, he announced “First class cabins!” He opened a door with a 197 engraved near the top and signaled to Mr. Walsh. Mr. Walsh pushed my trunk into the back left corner of the room, and I peered in.
The ceiling was but 5 feet high, and the room was 6 feet long and 5 feet wide. I bent my knees slightly to avoid hitting my head and walked in. There was a small bed along with a little table and a wooden chair.
“Supper is at 6:30 tonight. Someone will come to bring you up to the Captain’s dining room. Good day, miss.” Mr. Lynch told me and I nodded, then set to decorating my cabin as the men left. I placed a blanket from my trunk on the chair to prevent splinters, for it was poorly sanded. Then I set a picture of my family on the table and thought for a while about my situation. Before I knew it there was a knock on the door.
“Who is it?” I asked.
“Mr. Brosnan, here to escort Miss McMartia to supper.” I got up, threw on some clean gloves and shoes, and walked with the man up to supper. Charlotte, Isabella, and Elizabeth were there, and I was able to sit next to them. The chairs were much more comfortable, and the table had a cloth as well. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t so great. There were only rolls and a small amount of cow’s meat. Also, we didn’t even get dessert!
When I got back to my cabin, I lay down on my bed bored, for I had nothing to do until it was time for bed. That is when I had the idea of starting this diary.

moreResolved Question: How do I replace engine gaskets?
I know absolutely NOTHING about vehicles, but I need very specific step-by-step instructions on how to do this. I have a 1988 Plymouth Grand Voyager with a 3.0L V6 engine. Keep in mind that 1) I have no choice, because this is the only vehicle I can legally drive and my uncle is forcing me too, due to a bartering agreement of the utmost importance, 2) I don't even know the parts of a vehicle, much less where they are located or what they do, and 3) Please no "it's too hard" or "it's just not worth it" or "you're an idiot" blah blah blah. I HAVE NO CHOICE. Please, either tell me a VERY good website or e-mail me some pictures and instructions. Please, I need help A.S.A.P. Thank you.
moreResolved Question: Is Telus or Fido better?
My Fido phone's touch screen recently died, leaving me with no phone in any way is it use able. In order to get a new phone with Fido, I would either need to find a second hand phone on Ebay or Kijiji, or buy a brand new phone from Fido- but all the phones are about $200 or more without a contract. Those are my only choices with Fido, but I was looking at buyiing a LG Voyager (VX10000) but since it's a CDMA phone and does NOT use a SIM card, I can't use it with Fido, but I can transfer to Telus and cancel my contract with Fido if I really wanted to.
The Fido plan I have now is:
100 minutes a month
Free texting - unlimited (not including photo messaging)
Free calling after 6pm
Free weekends
Voicemail & Caller ID & Call waiting - 10$ a month
So overall I'm payiing like $40-$50/month
The TELUS plan I'm looking at is:
150 minutes per month
Unlimited calling after 6pm & weekends after 6pm
Unlimited outgoing and incoming text, picture and video messages3,4
Unlimited NATIONWIDE talk and text messaging with your 10 Favourite Numbers
Voice Mail 3, Call Waiting and Conference Calling
For roughly 35$ a month
I would go with Telus just for that, but what about usage? Dropped calls? People tell me Telus is very reliable, but Fido has done me good so far! I just really want this phone, what do you think? Did you have a good or great/bad experience with either of the two?

I had the LG Dare for around 2 years and my contract is going to be over really soon.
I thought it wasn't a bad phone.
The battery was pretty good and lasted me all week if I use a few calls from time to time.
Now that my contract is over, I thought I should start picking out a new phone.
There are tons of new smartphones out every month, but I don't want a smartphone because of the monthly $30 plan and all that.
I just need a non-smart phone that has a physical QWERTY keyboard suitable for texting.
I'm with Verizon right now.
I know it's kinda outdated and I need to have it for another 2 years, but I was wondering if there's a lot of bugs/troubles with it?
I know it's a lot better than the previous model, the Voyager.
If you had it/have it, can you tell me if it's a good non-smartphone to use and if the following features are good ENOUGH to live with?
1. Battery [How long does it last average? I know it's worse than the LG Dare...]
2. Touch Screen [Resistive; Does it not respond well or does something else u don't want it to do..]
3. Keyboard [Big? Comfortable?Does it call people randomly when in pocket?]
4. Pictures/Camera [Do photos dissapear? How's the canera?]
5. Constant Self Turn on/off [Will it turn off by itself?]
6. Speakers Internal [loud? too soft?]
moreResolved Question: Cell phone problems...what to do?
Over two years ago, I bought an LG Voyager. It was extremely expensive and not really worth the money. Eventually, I ended up having to replace it due to all its problems. It kept happening, so instead they gave me an EnV Touch. But, that used up my upgrade and I didn't really want an EnV Touch! It lasted for a while, but it's been a little over a year now and the problems keep coming. The phone turns itself off, erases my texts and pictures, the battery only lasted 6 hours, it freezes, etc. I took it to the store and they said the battery was "swelling" and I needed a new one, that all the problems were because of the battery. So I bought a new battery, and those things are not cheap! Now, the phone doesn't keep dying, but it is still doing all those other things and more! On top of all that, it completely resets my settings and now my alarm doesn't work! I don't have an upgrade until September and I'm sick of all this! Verizon won't do anything, because it's been over a year, but I need a phone that works!

moreResolved Question: Where is the IAC, or MAT Sensor located in my 1999 Plymouth Grand Voyager SE?
Alright, so I have a van that is at about 212k miles. The engine I think, was probably rebuilt. So that has (I am estimating) about maybe a little over 150k miles.. But I have a leaking head gasket (gonna get that replaced soon), and I recently got the Service Engine Soon light show up. So I did a self Diagnosis that came with the computer and I got error code 23. Which means that the Manifold Air Temperature sensor might be bad, or loose. Recently had brakes replaced and rotors turned, just got an allignment, and new master cylinder, gonna get a tune up tomorrow, but I need to know where the sensor is located... I see two sensors, one of which looks like a Vacuum hose. and a bunch of other little hoses coming off of it, connecting directly to the manifold. What is that? And next to it is a sensor of some sort, with two wires coming out of it. Also connected directly to the Manifold. I wiggled the wires around a bit and fixed the broken hose on the thing with a bunch of little hoses coming off of it thats connected directly to the Manifold. The Service engine soon light went out and feels like it's running smoother than before, But I am puzzled by the thing with little hoses coming off of it with a huge vacuum hose connected to it also, I found that one of the little tubes were broken so I wrapped it in high temperature electrical tape, and I would show you a picture but I don't have a camera..... Please help if possible, even if you have to explain to me what this MAT sensor or IAC sensor looks like. After the light went off. I noticed a difference in engine speed and acceleration, I hit the gas pretty hard and it feels like the engine has more power.. The plymouth has a 3.3 Liter, V6 engine in it, And I think it's also fuel injected... I hope you understand the question.. and.... concerns or whatever you want to call it.
I am 15, and this is my mom's vehicle, I have tried everything but the air sensor. I want to take it out and clean it and hopefully not spend another 100 dollars on a worthless little piece that I can fix. We also have had problems with the radiator, But we put a hardening agent designed specifically for the problem. it stopped leaking. I don't know if any of this matters for the question, But I like to put extreme detail in my questions. Thank you.
moreResolved Question: has anyone ever made a trailer by cutting the rear section from a minivan like I've seen done with pickup beds?
I've thought that a back of a dodge grand caravan or plymouth voyager might make little trailer, like I've seen done with old pick up beds, weld on the tongue section and inclose the front (possibly extending the enclosure onto the tongue to gain additional enclosed cargo space, and I'ld have a trailer with an funtional, lockable rear hatch, ever vent windows to keep it cool.
The reason I'm considering this is that I recently saw a minivan RV made using a Grand Caravan as the platform, with a pop up top, from GTRV, and I know it would be a small RV and not much room for storage and such and thought that by using the rear section of another one (plenty of them in the junk yards) it would be large enough to haul a generator, water and propane tanks and misc. camping gear and what ever else wouldn't fit in the minivan RV.
Matching paint job, possibly a hitch mounted cargo rack and/or swing on hitch mounted grill on the rear of trailer or on the tongue.
If anyone has already done this, I'ld like to see some pictures of the build and finished project.I've seen one done from an Astro/Safari, on the AstroSafarivans.com site, and thought it was nice, and after seeing the minivan RV from GTRV, thought it would go well with it.Both creative and functional, and with the size of the minivan RV, it would be pretty much a nessesity.possibly a roof top cargo container on one or both of them as well...could I weld a light weight frame under the minivan

I checked out a library book recently that had a picture taken from the voyager spacecraft of the earth. The earth was only the size of a pencil tip! Perhaps our known universe is just a grain of sand on beach of the universe. What lies beyond?
