I am really intrigued by the stars and planets and even the thought of life of other planets (Who knows rite?) And I really want to buy a telescope but I'm not sure where to start.
I don't want to buy a kiddy telescope that can barely see the moon I want something that I can use for a while and that I can actually see the surface of the moon and look at other planets.
I don't know What the different price range of telescopes can do so thats basically what I would like to know.
Do you have any recommendations on any particular telescope?
What kind of viewing distance can I expect from that telescope?
Like I said I don't want a telescope that I can just look at the moon because thats not really interesting to me I want to be able to see things on the surface of the moon and be able to see other planets in our system.
Is this even possible without spending a fortune..

I looked up. There was so much color in the sky that even the moon seemed to be lit up a thousand-watts higher than normal. On this particular Monday night, the stars weren’t white or yellow but a beautiful shade of violet, blue and pink. Though I only saw one violet star this very night, I was sure that there were more of them out there. But as I looked closer at the stars, I saw that that one beautiful violet star flickered vigorously again and again.
I wasn’t focused on the stars now though. I was focused on getting the Purple Fairy to help. Any kind of help. That’s what I called her. Purple Fairy.
I had met the Purple Fairy when I was seven. She had told me about the wonderful places she had been. To Summerland, Springsfall, Winterbay, and Candyland. Yeah, I know they all sound like fairytales. But in reality, she told me they were her favorite places to go. She didn’t give much detail about them, only that they were full of magical things, and maybe, just maybe, she’d take me there when I got older.
When I first found her in between the beds of rocks and sand at the beach I should have called her The Gray Fairy. That’s what she looked like when I flew into my house and ran into the kitchen.
I wasn’t a fairy doctor, I was only a fourteen year old girl, what was I supposed to do?
Maybe She’s hungry, I thought to myself. I knew she could hear me if I spoke to her real gently in my mind. She told me that was one of her powers. Telepathy.
But it didn’t mean she would respond. Every second her lips got paler. A more scarier shade of gray. Her wings twitched every other minute or two, I knew she was trying to tell me something, I listened real hard but the only sounds I picked up was the quiet thud of a distant heart. Hers, shouted a voice in my head. It’s the Purple Fairy’s! And with all this, I knew in my heart that the Purple Fairy wouldn’t be responding to me any time soon. If ever.
My Mom’s voice called from upstairs. “Adrianna dear? Is that you?”
I stumbled over the right words to make sure she wouldn’t come into the kitchen. “Ye-yeah Mom. It’s me. I’m just gonna make a sandwich and head upstairs to read or something.”
There was a moments silence then my Mom’s door shut behind her and I sighed in comfort. She was satisfied with my answer.

I wanna make a Anime episode Its About The girl Akarui Tsuki Finding out shes magical. She's the Moon. She goes out to the Amusement park and finds this Beautiful place called Hikari Ajito = Light Hideout
This guy sights her and suspects that shes the Moon Light so he drugs somehow and takes her to Hikari Ajito and tries to convince her but fails. She leaves and the next day she has these Fox effects. Shes always in the mood to eat meat. (shes not vegetarian btw) Then once she grew ears (this may start sounding like Tokyo Mew Mew but its not) and a bushy tail and her forehead glowed a cresent moon. She ran to the Hikari Ajito and asked for explainations and finally was convinced the enemies are called Shodati (weird huh) So they gave her a Cresent Moon locket and She transformed and was Surprised. The guys who convinced her were Tarao Ryuu and Shou Yuuga.
But during the story Akarui Tsuki meets new members. Mitsuko (which is Sun) and Budoo Hoshi which is Star. I mean this sounds like the Galaxy but i dont want the title with Galaxy. It takes place in Tokyo, Japan :D Akarui Tsuki's helper Tarao (is in Highschool and has a secret but Loves Akarui, but she likes someone else.) I know this isn't a place to tell strories but please tell me a good story OH and tell me if you like it!!! ThanksDoes not relate to sailor moon Not even close. Geez start reading better. I just did a planetary reading for myself, not too grand a spread it seems, but the more fore knowledge I have the better a position I'm in at least. I was wondering if someone here could offer me a second opinion or find any subtleties in the spread to draw my attention to.

For the moon position- The Star (upright)
In Mercury I had- The Devil (reversed) whew...
In Venus- King of Cups (upright)
In Mars- The Emperor (upside down too I'm afraid)
In Jupiter- Eight of Swords (rightside up)

She's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Her eyes twinkle like a star gently resting on a moon shining brightly even in the mostdark if nights. Her hair is like a gleaming waterfall decending brightly and clensing all bad in the world. And when I see her every day, it is as if nothing else matters in the world. As if it were made just for us. She's just one locker away from me but she's like four inches taller than me. She's going to say no, which haunts my soul every minute of the day. What should I do?

I wanna make a Anime episode Its About The girl Akarui Tsuki Finding out shes magical. She's the Moon. She goes out to the Amusement park and finds this Beautiful place called Hikari Ajito = Light Hideout
This guy sights her and suspects that shes the Moon Light so he drugs somehow and takes her to Hikari Ajito and tries to convince her but fails. She leaves and the next day she has these Fox effects. Shes always in the mood to eat meat. (shes not vegetarian btw) Then once she grew ears (this may start sounding like Tokyo Mew Mew but its not) and a bushy tail and her forehead glowed a cresent moon. She ran to the Hikari Ajito and asked for explainations and finally was convinced the enemies are called Shodati (weird huh) So they gave her a Cresent Moon locket and She transformed and was Surprised. The guys who convinced her were Tarao Ryuu and Shou Yuuga.
But during the story Akarui Tsuki meets new members. Mitsuko (which is Sun) and Budoo Hoshi which is Star. I mean this sounds like the Galaxy but i dont want the title with Galaxy. It takes place in Tokyo, Japan :D Akarui Tsuki's helper Tarao (is in Highschool and has a secret but Loves Akarui, but she likes someone else.) I know this isn't a place to tell strories but please tell me a good story OH and tell me if you like it!!! Thanks

I can think of at least two anime where you are told from the very first episode that the main character is going to die...or cease to exist. Those would be Mahoromatic and Full Moon wo Sagashite.
Is there a name for this genre of anime...and can you think of any others?
BTW, I do not consider this a spoiler...as the anime themselves tell you what is going to happen.

I've been trying to think of a unique name for myself that i can use for like msn and others things like that so then i thought maybe i could think of a name related to my two star signs' planets. I need help in combining the moon and the sun into one meaning-into one word i guess maybe two words.
As i have an Irish surname so have some sort of Irish heritage i would also love to translate the chosen name into Irish Gaelic lol just to make it even more confusing-i mean unique hehe, so if you know your name suggestion in Irish please tell me.

As we all know, what makes the moon visible is that it reflects the light from the sun. So for us to see something in space, it should be reflecting light from a particular light source. This made me ask the above question. What if there were no light sources where a particular object is located? For example, a long dead planet drifted away from its star.. How do we spot it? (Excluding black holes, obviously)

In the fifth age, God created the birds and great whales and creatures (dinosaurs, wholly mammoths) this probably took millions of years
In the sixth age, God created livestock, all animals and man.
Do you believe we are still in the sixth age and the seventh age is yet to happen, when God rests with us in the New Jerusalem. Or, when do you think God rested.

The trees on the side of the path, holding only just a few old leaves, start nodding their heads and waving their arms at you acknowledging your presence in the world, while on the side of your face, you can feel a cool breeze blowing softly in your face as if they were trying to kiss you on the cheek.
The finely cut grass is soft and gentle under your feet and it makes you feel as though you are walking on a cloud.
A big black blanket covers the earth and the world goes dark. The crescent shaped moon hides high in the sky only showing a small portion of its face as it peeps through, casting a ray of moonlight through the branches of the lacy Lilac tree.
but a the darkness does not last long because the stars start shinning through the darkness like fireflies caught in a net.
Suddenly, the garden springs to life as fairy lights light up the garden as if lighting up a stage.
Your nostrils are filled with the pleasant, lightly perfumed fragrance of freshly blooming roses and lavenders.
