Anyway I bought the ps3 and it turns on but freezes a lot and doesnt play the games I bought without freezing and locking the system and when I first connected to wifi it crashed my router. Now the main question is what can I do about this because their whole thing is they buy movies, games, and cds for cash as well as used game systems and parts and they have to be in basically perfect condition or they wont buy it from you but how funny is it I buy this system and its a piece of crap and at the bottom of their reciepts it says garunteed for 7 days after purchase. Returns will be exchanged for similar items no cash or credit refunds. Well I paid cash and the only simlar system is more expensive. So what are the laws for refunds in ohio or merchandise thats garunteed to work but clearly doesnt?Well even more to that is the stuff they sell is supposed to be in basically perfect condition because they complain if say a button doesn't press in normally on a controller even if it works or if a cd has a very minor scratch they wont touch it so they hound people to bring in things in great condition because they don't sell crap in their own words and they sell it on ebay. They also test EVERYTHING game wise to make sure it works and obviously this one they didn't which is against their policy. more

When should i ask her out? I have known her for 3 weeks now. Here is the story. So the second week or so i started asking a little with homework and helped her with the math riddle things.( you have to solve problems to get the stupid riddle) Anyways i had some trouble talking to her when i asked her that strange nervous feeling. I asked her if she was going to our school's football team game ( i do not play football ). After that she forget to do a math homework so i let her have the riddle preventing her from getting in trouble. Anyways one day in language arts i saw her across the room and blushed a lot. I think she noticed it a little but did not act weird. After that someone found out i like her and said she asked him if i liked her ( it became obvious to her ) and they said yes. So the rest of the day she didnt say one thing but ask for gum ( we really like it ). After school i went on facebook and she was online so i waited 2 mins to talk to her because it would seem weird right when i came on and i talked to her a little about ipod's and eminem. We both like that. Today we talked a little like we usually did and i asked her if she was going to one of our football games. Right now here it is friday so we have monday off of school. Anyways she asked for gum so i gave her 2 pieces. She is not using me also. She has helped me with stuff and given me some stuff and let me borrow a little. I still have SOME trouble talking to her. Anyways we are also in 7th grade. When should i ask her out?Also how would i get her cell without making it obvious or should i wait till i ask her out and if she said yes. Open Question: I have Project 64, but I need some help?

I'm playing the games just fine, but sometimes the graphics can be a bit buggy. For example, when I load Banjo Kazooie, when the puzzle pieces fall on the screen to load a new one, all the puzzle pieces are black, and theres some big yellow 0's on the top hand left. It's been buggin out for other games too. The most annoying is playing Kirby. It won't show my health or current power ups, unless I enter a new screen. Even then, the HUD won't change when something happens. Any suggestions?Currently I'm playing Paper Mario, and it works fine, but when it does into battle the screen gets all buggy for a second, then goes back to normal. The pause screen is buggy but workable, and in certain areas like Toad Town the screen flashes a dark turqoise every like... millisecond. I can still see a and play, it's just very annoying. What I'm using is an HP laptop. any suggestions? more

Hey, When I was a kid I used to play Gameboy all the time. I maxed out to 999 hours in Pokemon and that doesn't include the times I re-played the game. I remember every now and then I would hear the music coming from my gameboy in my pocket. One time I pulled it out to find that the gameboy wasn't even on, but I kept hearing it. After that it seemed to happen all the time. I thought it was cool then and didn't really question it. Recently I thought it would be cool to do a test and see if I can get that to happen again, so I've been listening to the same song on repeat for over a week now. So far it's only happened once, when I woke up in the middle of the night and heard a little piece of the song come from nowhere. It was creepy. I just now read up on the 'Tetris Effect' and 'Endomusia' on wikipedia and realized that's what I had/have. Is it 'really' a disorder? Can I just live with it or should I like go to a doctor? Because I think it's cool and I'm fine with having it. more

I played a game of chess with a friend of mine. I moved my knight and put his king in checkmate. Now, before I moved this piece his king was not threatened, and so I did not say check. After moving my knight, I told him it was checkmate because he could not longer do anything. He accepted defeat by knocking all the pieces down. Now he is trying to tell me the game is void because I never said "check." I told him I did not need to say this because it was just checkmate, which I announced. You say "check" when you put the opponent's king in danger and he is able to do something to break the check. Am I correct and was this a fair game? Is he making this "argument" because he is a sore loser? He also says it is mandatory that one should say check. Who is right? more

There is this guy that I know who is my twin brother’s friend that only comes over when we have a poker night. I have known him for a while from a bowling club in high school. I always thought of him as straight. He does not act feminine at all so I would have to assume he is straight if he did not express that he was gay by actually saying he was to anybody I know or anybody i and he knows. I am very respectful to the straight community. If you say out of your mouth that you are straight, I in my mind, have to believe you that you are, or if I hear from his friends that he is straight, then I have to believe and respect that. Open Question: Ways to practice at home?

Can anyone please help? My stick-handling is terrible. I easily have the worst hands in midget hockey. Even worse my shooting isn't exactly great either. My snap shot is slow and not hard at all. My wrist shot is alright. My slap shot is actually very good and hard but it takes me a long time to shoot so i cant do that in a game or ill easily get the puck taken away before i shoot. Can anyone help me with some ways to practice at home. I've been shooting some pucks in my driveway off a piece of cardboard. Also, I've been stick handling different types of balls around pucks. I try to do this everyday unless something like homework and stuff comes up. Can anyone else come up with some ways to work on my stick handling/shooting. It's a literacy narrative. Any feedback is appreciated Every child likes having a story read to them. The problem is that I do not remember being read to very young. My earliest memories of reading started when I was in elementary school. The only books I read were teacher assigned. They were always boring, to say the least. I never gave reading a chance. This occurred until my senior year in high school. My English teacher, Ms. Vassalo, entrusted my class to read a novel about a dystopian society. I chose to read “The Hunger Games”. I was reluctant to open the first page, but I had no choice. It was for an assignment after all. Eventually I started reading. After 100 pages or so, I realized something amazing happened. I had not put the book down since I opened it. That was abnormal for me. This was the first book I ever read that made me wish I was part of the story. Come to find out this book was part of a series. Without hesitation I got my hands on book two, “Catching Fire”. It was just as good as the first. I was fascinated with this story. I could not get enough of it. Soon thereafter I discovered there was going to be a third book in the series. I was elated with this news. I've been told numerous times that reading is fun. All you have to do is find something that interests you. Those rumors rang true. Then, all of a sudden, I saw in a blinding flash what I realized was the problem I had with reading all those years. I never attempted to read something that I might find interesting. So you see, I am really grateful to my English teacher. If it not for that one little assignment, I would have no interest in reading. Everything said, reading is now my favorite pastime. more

In my music class we have an annoying project. Create an idea for a video game, draw a scene from it, find two songs for it (linear and interactive) and think of a name for it. It had formerly been a group project, but most of the groups were disassembled by the teacher. I won't complain, though.. Most of the drawing was being dumped on me and someone else, and with a group we'd of had to draw three larger scenes. This is music class, so the only part that really matters is the music. Unfortuently this motherboard has an integrated graphics chip (nVidia GeForce 6150), which is a piece of crap when it comes to gaming. I plan to upgrade the video card as soon as possible, so I've been trying to find out what video cards are supported by the motherboard. I haven't been able to find anything about this (the closest I've gotten is some of the supported driver/cpu stuff on Biostar's site), so could someone here help me out? Open Question: Another writing piece. Please rate? ^^?

Yeah, another one of these. But this was something that just popped into my head. Actually its a back story for one of my characters, not the main story itself. Err, there's a explanation below. Basically, in this time, humans were extinct. But before they had died, they had managed mutilate creatures with the reprogramming of brain-cables and things we cannot do (XD), These creatures (deemed the Zywa) were, for the most part, hated by the "regulars." The tension between the two had led to an outbreak of war, and such. Yup, that was pretty crappy, even for me. It was done in about a minute, so sorry. ^^; --- Blood, betrayal and fear. That is war. A twisting web of schemes entangling all in its dreaded nets. We are all dragged in deeper with ever move; into a game not only of force and fighting, but of wit and brains- a dance of death. The structures of families dissolve into agony and misery for lost loved ones, and treachery within. Battles after battles are waged for irrational suspicions. And then... there is peace. When the sun warms the earth, where the flowers of hope flourish. A time of calm, of relaxed stances; a time when the breeze only brings the smell of spring. And when the sun rises, it does not bring despair and anguish, just the joy of tranquility. A time of innocence. But as the wretched cycle spins back to war, to tears. To bloodshed over petty differences, over the differences in abilities in appearance. And with it, descends insanity. Resolved Question: Why do men wear long board shorts?

It seems like the least logical piece of swimwear ever invented. They feel nasty when you get out of the pool, they track dirt and debris into the pool, they weigh you down in the water and create drag making it easier to drown, they make you have to discreetly "adjust" from time to time and they feel like they're going to come off if you jump in the water the wrong way. I recently bought Speedo style swim briefs and have been wearing them to the pool ever since. I have never received any complaints from anyone and no one has laughed or teased me for wearing them, even in this Bible belt part of the country. I've worn them to the pool, on the beach, even in very family oriented places and no one seems to care. And why should they? I'm young, I have a good body, and my endowment is nothing to be ashamed of. I have gotten a few pervy comments and looks from the fair sex (double standard anyone?) but, oh well. It feels great not wearing those old clown pants that were so cumbersome anymore. So why don't more men wear briefs, given the advantages? Are you guys afraid of being called gay? I would think it would be gayer for a man to pick on another man for wearing a Speedo. Are you scared about the size of your thing? It's not like you would have gotten to sleep with every hot woman at the pool, or that you would even care what the less attractive ones think. Is it about not wanting to see your friends in the same kind of swimsuit? Are you afraid you'll wake up some latent gay tendencies or get hit on by gay guys? Scared that women and children are going to think you're a pervert? None of those fears are real. A piece of fabric isn't going to change the wiring of your brain, and I've played pool games like polo with kids who weren't the least bit bothered by my swimsuit, and neither were their parents looking on. Oh, and if a gay guy hits on you - something which still hasn't happened to me - just tell him, "Thanks for the compliment, but, not interested." Problem solved. Ok so long ago I saw a desktop game that was something like desktop shooter There was like a chainsaw or a hammer EXCEPT! when you used them, pieces of desktop would break and fall as when you break glass. I only remember vague details about it so i don't know how much help it'll be but, i remember my cousin playing it when i was really young, probably 3 or 4. It was for NES, and it was a side scrolling action game. I only remember bits and pieces but I do remember that there was one level where you were going through this yellow brick corridor place that I think had more than one level that you could walk on, but it was all on the same screen. Voting Question: Am I just a chess piece in her game of life?

So my best friend right now is an amazing person and i do love her to death but sometimes she just doesnt understand. I am a really mellow person and i NEVER EVER GET mad. But the other day she did something that made me really mad and i told her i was mad. but she just laughed. then later she came up to me and said she was still bored and i said i was still mad and she just laughed and im like"no im really serious you need to stop luahging caz i am really mad" then she just stop talking to me for a few minutes but now( the next day) where back to how we were and she didnt appologize or anything. Other times she calls me and our other good friend nerds and she always seems to be imbarresed by us, but yet she still calls us her best friends. Its like she thinks shes soooo much better than us sometimes. And she is a gorgeous blonde hair blue eyed tall girl. but still. she talks about getting all these hot guys, but she never talks to guys, and me and our other friend talk to more guys than her. Also like every time we hangout she tells my friend how ugly her boy friend is, and ive told her she should just stop, but she says shes just joking. and then i dont know what else to tell her to make her stop so i drop it. I just dont know if shes really our friends or just doesnt have anyone better to hangout with. i know it may just be her personality, but is there some way i could tell her that i dont like her insulting me like every second of the day, without jeperdizing our friendship too much? more

Resolved Question: I don't know how to play chess?

Ok, so I've never played an actual game of chess before, even though my whole family plays it. Im really good at other games like Blackjack, Texas Hold Em and Checkers but I've never played chess and want to. I can name all the pieces (Pawn, Knight, Bishop, Rook, King, Queen) but I don't really know how to use them. All I know about Chess is that Pawns can only move 1 square at a time (except on their first turn in which they can move two and that the player with the white pieces has the first go. Before you say Google it, I already have but cannot find a worthy explanation. Can someone explain the rules or even give me a link to a good chess explanation? Thanks! more
