Open Question: What do you do when your husband goes to hang out with his friends?

We've been married 2.5 years. He likes to go out with his friends and take his car to the local hangout spot, or get together at someone's garage and have an "install party," but meanwhile I'm stuck at home doing nothing, bored out of my mind. I don't really have any female friends, and I have a hard time making friends- we are in that weird stage where the only married couples are older than us (by like 10 or more years), so there aren't a whole lot of people to hang out with. Co-workers... well, I work at a jr high, and everyone I work with is at least twice my age or more, with no common interests. I don't have any real hobbies, besides taking care of the animals (three dogs and a cat), and watching TV if that even counts. I collect Coach purses, but you can only look at purses online for so long. Plus, it's expensive! I'm not really a "girly girl-" not that into shopping or clothes, and definitely not shoes. I like to play paintball, but you can really only go on weekends. I love to workout, but I do that in the morning almost every day so I don't necessarily want to do it at nights, too. I don't know. I like to read, and do often, but I want to do something more... active, I guess? Engaging? But not gardening (rains all the time in WA, and I kill anything green I touch lol), and preferably not knitting/crochet/sewing, scrapbooking (tried that, but I never take enough pics). I was really into photography for a while, but I have so many pictures and nothing to do with them. I'd also really love to get into painting, but everything seems so expensive and I have no clue where to start or what I'd do with all my work- kinda like my photos. I think they'd just sit there. So, I'm open to suggestions. Please help, I'm tired of being jealous that my husband has a hobby and friends to do stuff with that are also into his hobby. more

Resolved Question: Is it plausible to think that companies are rapidly going through new employees for the tax breaks?

Since February of this year, I have gone through a handful of jobs and lately its seemed kind of suspicious to me. The first was a car sales job. I was suspicious about this from the start as the company took over $600 out of my check for "training". About a month in, I made my first big sale and brought the company close to $4K profit on one vehicle. My commission was around $800. The day after, I got caught in some traffic on the way to work and tried to call the office 3 times; no answer. I was less than 5 minutes late and was fired on the spot. The 11 others hired the same month are now all gone as well. Next, I found work at another dealership. I applied as a salesperson, but they asked me if I would do internet marketing instead. I agreed. They said I would receive $25 per customer that I coaxed to come in and $50 per sale. By the end of 3 weeks, I had only received about 5-7 customers and only 2 came in. So, I had to quit.Then, I was hired by Portrait Innovations, who seemed more impressed by my experience in used car sales than photography. They had me fill out more tax paperwork (through the mail) than I had ever done. I was refused training for 3 days and then fired. This was a huge shock to me as one of the managers had complimented me on how innovative I was at posing kids. No one ever even gave me a reason. I currently work at a book store, where I initially applied for a salary position and (instead) was asked to come on as a p/t employee. Last week, I sent some ideas of mine through the company website. 2 would help increase sales and 1 would increase sanitation and prevent waste. The next day, I received a document stating I was at risk of being terminated. Is it likely that the tax breaks associated w/ HIRE are causing companies to take a quick hire/fire approach w/ job seekers? Does my being a veteran mean they would receive even greater tax breaks? Has anyone else experienced this since January of this year? more

Resolved Question: A good DSLR camera for a kinda beginner?

OK I have a (Don't laugh) AE-1 Canon. When I was 15 I was broke. Anyways I love photography and have done some pretty cool things. I'm 22 now and I'm finally gonna take some classes on how to use an SLR even though I know my way around one pretty good. Just the Fancy stuff I don't know. I'm looking for a good beginner DSLR but I want it to last me a good 5 or 7 years. I'm not a professional and don't plan on becoming one but I do and will be using it's full potential. So far I been looking at the T2i. So what do you guys think? To give you an idea of what I will be using it for is taking pictures of still cars, I use a fish eye a lot at skate parks but not much anymore, Micro photography, and I'm also a trained storm chaser so I'm waiting for that rare pic of a tornado.Thanks Jim, Yup the Canon 1000D is one that I was looking at. Seems to be a good camera and who can't love the price. I love what you have up on flickr. I like how you right down what you had your setting on. I saw a photography print at Hobby Lobby the other day, and I loved it! It was an artist I had never heard of before, though, and I am very interested in looking up more of his work...I just can't remember his name. :( I wanted to think it was something like...John Mutter...but I know I'm way off, and I've tried looking online for the last hour. The two prints of his that I saw were both very surrealistic. I only remember details about one of them (though I do remember they were both black and white). Feel free to not answer any of them if you don’t want to :P These are my answers: I’m going into my sophomore year My school starts at 8:00 am and ends at 2:00 pm. I go to sleep at 12:00 pm at the latest, though this year I am aiming to go to sleep at 10:30-11:00 pm at the latest.I wake up at 7:00 am, sometimes 7:15 if I fall back into bed and fall asleep again. I get driven to school by my mom. I live far from school ugh :( It sucks cause I can never hang out with friends after school since I can’t walk home on my own cause I live so far away. And it takes 15 to 25 minutes. Last year I played tennis and lacrosse. This year I’m playing tennis and doing track. Tennis took about 2 hours, 3 times a week and lacrosse took up 2 hours 5 days and when we hit game season we had games up to 3 times a week which ended up taking up to 5 hours of my day out if the game was far away. I’m taking 6 classes (can’t take 7 or it will interfere with sports). I’m taking chemistry, honors english 10, algebra accelerated 2, psychology, digital photography, and spanish 2. I’m not in anything like that but I AM going to find a club to join this year! And I’m thinking of going out for yearbook, junior year. It takes me 10-20 minutes. I don’t do anything on my hair cause its pin straight naturally, though I want to start curling it this year so I might need to wake up earlier to do that bleh D: And for makeup I usually just do lip balm, eyeliner, and mascara. I take a shower everynight, especially during lacrosse season. My biggest regret was I wish I hadn’t been as shy and had been more outgoing, both with other classmates and in class participation. I also wish I had cared less what others thought about me! Resolved Question: What settings to keep when wanting a slow shutter shot in manual camera?

I have a Pentax K1000, as its a film camera, I cannot afford to really test it entirely on my knowledge, though even now I am using it only to gain experience. I have taken enough photos in the day, I wanted to explore night photography now, and am particularly piqued by the slow shutter shots of car on a street, and all that.. so, can anyone tell me around what I can keep my shutter speed and exposure to? I'd be using a film speed of 400. Also, if I generally want to take photos in the night(normal streets) without flash what setting can I keep?Oh and yes, aperture too. I use 5.5 in the day.I'm using a 1:2 50mm, yes. And the aperture range is between 22-2.00. I just feel uncomfortable in myself about my looks, about approaching people and just being out in public. I feel that I lack in confidence the most about my looks. I am a 19 year old boy with brown, spiky hair with glasses and I'm 6'2''. I just hate being out in public because of my face and the way that I look. Everywhere in public, people stare at me and it makes me feel completely uncomfortable and angry and depressed inside. Whenever I'm out on the street whether it is taking pictures or just going for a walk, people honk at me. Whenever I'm out in public with a girl people look at me & her and laugh. Twice when I was in the mall, a group of kids approached me and asked me if I am a nerd. Photography is my passion and every time I'm out on the streets, somebody will drive by me and honk. Somebody once said to me while passing in their car, "Shove that camera up your ass." When I'm out in public taking pictures a lot of people would stare at me and laugh or some random person would jump in front of my camera to get in the picture. I feel uncomfortable in taking pictures some times. I get picked on a lot in high school. People throw paper planes or paper balls at me, people sneakily tape paper on the back of my shirt that says "Nerd" or "Geek" on it. One time one of my teachers was trying to help a classmate of mine and she asked out loud "I need help over here, who is a computer nerd?" I stood up to help and the whole class laughed at me. Not with me, at me because I didn't find it funny. Usually people pick on me when they are with a group of friends. Whenever a group passes me, they look back at me and whisper something to one another and I don't know what they are saying. I used to be in office aid, and I had to deliver passes and run errands to different classrooms. Every time I do, I ask the teacher, "Do I have to?" If I do, I take my glasses off before I get into that classroom so I don't look like a nerd. I don't have a job or money to buy myself a pair of contact lenses. I have to depend on my parents for it. My parents keep telling me I am going to get a pair of contacts before college, and college starts next week. My dad said he is going to send me to a doctor to get eye surgery, and I never got it. Every time I go out in public I take my glasses off. It makes a difference. I can still see people's expressions and where they are staring at. They don't stare at me as much. I am always cautious about what I wear and how I do my hair. I make sure I wear matching clothes and to wear clothes that don't make me look like a nerd, and I still get picked on. I am taller than my parents and they always told me growing up that being tall can make a difference. They said being tall can make look like the boss and I could be picked on less. There is no difference being tall. I want to let out how I feel to these people, but there is this one part of my mind that takes over and says "don't let it out" and I don't let it out. I only have one friend, and he and I aren't talking very much. It is hard for me to approach people. I am a nice and caring person and people just judge me whether it is my looks or my personality. People would say, "Go away." Whenever I would sit next to somebody on a bus, they would get up and move to another seat. Whenever there is a girl I like, there would be somebody that asks that girl "would you go out with him?" That girl would say "Ew, no he's not my type" or "no way!" I have had this happened ever since the fourth grade. It's just hard approaching people for me. I'm worried I might never get a girlfriend or get married. I have even had thoughts of committing suicide because of all of this. College is starting and I want to start out fresh. What can I do to get my confidence back? Please help me, I hate living my life like this. more

I have recently been printing my photography prints on fabric. I really liked the print and wanted to incorporate it into my bedroom, and decided to to stuff it with foam (anti flammable) and make it into a dog cushion bed. I've made quite a few, in different depths - some can fit inside a crate and others more like a dog bed. A few of my friends were really interested in them and suggested I start selling them at a local car boot - just as a hobby. I'd really like to do this, but I don't want to sell pet products unless I am satisfied that they are safe. How can I do that? Hi I have been thinking about suicide a lot for the past 4 months now. Mostly because I have come to realize how much my life sucks. I know that some people will say that I have a lot to live for I have my health and I am still young, ( I am 17 years old, I play basketball but I'm not any good, I don't drink and I don't smoke.). I have 3 friends, the first one is much much cooler than me and over the past year he has gotten new friends and he doesn't really hang out with me any more, I don't blame him. My other to friends are a boy who is obsessed with photography and doesn't think about anything else and the third one I mostly talk to through MSN because he doesn't like to go out. It's not that I don't try to make new friends its just that I'm not cool, and I dont drink. People just don't like me and somehow I am known as a really violent person because I have lost my temper a couple of times but I have never beaten any one up or anything like that. I don't know any girls and I really don't blame them for it, they can do better that me. My mother and father recently broke up and he moved out. I try to comfort my mom and get her to stop crying but I always just make things worse. Sometimes I tell my mom that I'm going to my dad's place and my dad that I'm going to my mom's place for the night, then I just find a parking space somewhere quiet and then I just cry over my failed miserable life and think about committing suicide, and then I sleep in my car. It's not like I haven't tried to change my life but it just always fails. I just think that the world would me a better place without me, its not like people are going to notice that I'm gone. more

On sale at a local wholesale dealer. We got a GREAT deal.) *invitations (Free I made them) *postage ($21.00) *my mom & grandmas attire ($275 including accessories), *his parents attire (my fiance spent $250-including tailoring) *my brothers suit (I spent $150-including tailoring) *marriage license ($36.00) *officiant (our pastor)-Free (we're paying for his gas) *Guitarist for 1.5 hours ($150-my friends son is a music major at ASU) Total Cost: $7332 including taxes (so far). A few of our 'friends' have been very critical of how much were NOT spending on our wedding. One of our biggest complaints in the time of day, day of the week and the lack of alcohol. Me and my fiance are both very devout Christians,and this is going to be a very dry wedding. Why should we spend a fortune on just ONE day out of our life? we all have our ups and downs, but the past year has been the most hectic for me because of my unlucky and unpleasent encounters with strangers. I dont want to go into a long boring story, but I can list some here. 1- i was walking slightly off the road and this bald guy in his thirties honk at me in his car. I go into the mall and found him at rite aid and come up to him and ask him why he was honking at me (nicely). the guy says "because u were walking like a jackass who didnt kno where he was going" and hes like "if we fight i cut ur head off" WOW THE GUY IS DEFINATELY CRAZY. he was like a grown man with his 2 year old daughter next to him and im only a high school student. what could i do? fight him? call the police? i mean i could have done either one, but i felt it was best to just stay away from him. 2) Beginning of my senior year in our photography class, we gathered in a large circle and the teacher gave one person a bundled up sock which he/she was supposed to TOSS at one of the people in the circle and the receiver would introduce him/herself and toss it to another person. What happened was this one kid tossed the sock at me and I flinched a little bit cus i wasnt expecting it. the kid found it funny and as we went in rotation he started throwing them hard and far on purpose and the girl next to him was having a laughing fit. I wasnt going to take that so I went up to him and said "what the **** is ur problem man huh?" like 3 times and he couldnt say anything. 3) Two younger kids at the library started laughing at me when i was standing next to them focused on something else. so when i found them outside i asked them "why u laugh at me for" and one of the kids said "oh we were just messin with people who were staring at us" and i felt pretty bad. When i look at couples i get jealous because i dont have a boyfriend. Resolved Question: What should i do with my life?

This will be long but bare with me please! Well first thing's first, I'm 15 years old, and i dropped out of school in 7th grade and haven't done anything since. Big mistake, in about 10 months when i turn 16 i will be going to a community college to study for my G.E.D. But before that, i've got to get my license, so i can get there. I then have to get a job to help with tuition and keep gas in the car, and to help my family, because right now were in bad shape. I then have to decide what i want to do with my life, so i can take classes and find colleges/schools to go to to major in my profession, while i get my G.E.D of course. Long story short, i have all of these things that i am told i am good at or could have a career in, all of which i love The one i favor in particular is singing. I love it, i know it's unrealistic, and is one of the hardest careers i have to choose from, to get involved in. So, i'm kind of ruling that out, even though i know that will always be what i'll love the most. I love art / drawing. It is a great outlet for me, and i know it isn't that hard to get into with the right tools and enough practice/skill. I could do advertising, be and art teacher, anything. And there are art schools everywhere. I love photography, everywhere i'm going i see a piece of an amazing photo somewhere. I would love to be a photographer, I'm not sure how good i am at taking pictures, i just love too. Which brings me to directing, i love making short videos and what not. I also love to write. Author wise, that is. I have creative ideas that i think most people can relate too. And fantasy of course. I love designing things, interior or fashion, i've done this for parties and am told it looked good. I also ADORE cosmetology. as in makeup hair and nails. That is the second hardest profession for me to get into, yet the second best thing i love to do. I would love to go to new york and what not, and do makeup for major movie stars and things like that. I love working with people, i can't sit still for long, i'm very energetic and creative, i'm also very shy, but i get over it quickly. And i want to be on the go everyday, in a big city, and have a job i would love doing. Something major or glamorous if you will. if im taking a night shot, but want everything in focus but the light of cars to travel i will use manual set a high aparture so everything is in focus but set the shutter low.. i will use a tripod because when using shutter speed lower than say 1/30 it can cause blurry. and i would probably set timer at 10 secs so no camera shake.. and i THINK i would leave flash off?? am i right??? does that seem right. thank you more

I know I look different than I do in pictures and what I appear in the mirror (and I HOPE that person is who everybody sees and not those done by flash-digital photography...), and if there's anyone that would be brutally honest...it would be an absolute stranger on Yahoo Answers. It's been like this ever since I first went to school about 14 years ago (I'm 21 now), no matter where I go people look at me...even people who are driving by me in a vehicle will turn their heads to watch me as they go by! It's even worse when you're standing outside your own house and cars that go by have people turn their heads to a damn near 180 degree angle to keep an eye on you. So it's more than just the simple "they're in your line of sight" excuse, these people actually want to turn around and watch me as I go by...but it's certainly not in positive sense, I can feel the negative energy from their looks every time. And sometimes it's not me walking by them, if I am just sitting down they'll stare at me as THEY go by...am I that fascinating to look at or am I on the Truman Show here?! Hey, Im 17, Finished school and have a passion for scuba diving and Underwater Photography and Videography... I really wanna be a scuba diving instructor, working with people... traveling the world. What really worries me is that, as I have already started getting my qualifications (currently rescue diver)... and working on a Yachts as a deckhand for money. Is that Being a Dive Master and Instructor will not pay enough for me to earn a decent living, i.e Nice house... car.... support a family etc. I know it seems early to be thinking about this but its just one of those things. I really need some true stats etc, not just reassurance. Can I live a good life as a Diving Instructor... Prologue: To new locations In a silver ford Natalie Taylor, a fifteen year old girl with brown hair and brown eyes stares out the window thinking about what her new home is going to feel like. It’s her summer vacation and Natalie and her parents have just left the city, and are on their way to a new one and which is supposed be colder. Without her dearest friends to cheer her up she turns her head towards Macy, her baby owl. Natalie bought her a few weeks ago from a Japanese man selling them in the park, he told her that in Japan owls are considered to be a good thing rather in some beliefs owls are said to be bad luck or signs that a death will occur. Natalie is an only child and assumes it’s going to stay that way due to her mother Janet having her tubes tied. Anyway it would be better that way, being daddy’s (Jonathan) number one girl, and never having to share anything. Although it would be nice having the company, now that their moving to an entirely new city called Narks. “Macy, what do you think of all this madness huh?” I hope they didn’t hear that. Otherwise they’ll get mad. “Do you think it’s crazy, do you miss Angela?” Not talking huh? “Well I do, let’s hope we can make new friends in this new home were going to be living in.” Macy just looked at me, seemingly looking as if she understood every word I just said. Crazy bird. Natalie turned towards the window. Outside they were driving by the lake her and Angela used to hang out at. Natalie remembered at the last minute to call Angela and write down her address so she can keep in touch with letters. It would keep things fresh and give Natalie something to do while she has no friends, not that she would stop writing once she did find any, if she found any. Angela is her best friend and plans to keep it that way, things are always better when you have reliable friends everywhere you go. At least this would be one location she could run away to, if she ever needed to. But her parents are well enough to take care of her, and they never really fight which is a good thing. So now Natalie, Macy, and her parents drive away to this new town, to establish a new life for themselves. ~ Chapter one: Starring Okay well were here now at the house and it’s really everything that I didn’t expect. We live in a big one story house it’s old fashioned on the outside and very kept in shape. So now it’s up to me to choose what room I want. “This should be fun Macy, let’s go see what home is for us”. I stepped out of the car and took in a few deep breaths while holding Macy’s cage. Maybe things aren’t so bad here. I walked down the halls and in the first room; it’s a plain room and not really my cup of tea with a big window and plenty of space, just not roomy. “well there’s still two more rooms Macy, let’s hope one fits our high standards.” Natalie walked down the last hall and came to two doors, one on the right and one on the left. After a few seconds she made a decision to take the right door, after all it was the ‘right’ door. When she walked in she inhaled deeply, and was admiring the white rooms beauty. What caught her eye though was the popped out window with a built in mini bed, but the only thing wrong with the whole room was that there was no curtain to open and close when she pleased. After gathering her belongings from the car she unpacked all of her art supplies and photography albums, then out of the corner of her eye she could make out two figures just outside the window. When she went closer she realized there were two boys out in the forest playing some game, they weren’t half bad looking either so she sad on the bed in the window and stared at them. “Macy, there are some pretty cute boys out there, you wanna see?” She got up from the window seal and turned to get Macy from her cage, but when she turned around she noticed both boys staring right through her window. When she seen this she collapsed to the floor, hoping that they wouldn’t notice that she was there at all. “Oh god.” How did they know that I was watching them?”Macy, if I ever see those boys again I think ill suffer from embarrassment, let’s not stare and gorgeous boys anymore.” Although that may not be very possible. Natalie crawled to the other side of the room with Macy in the palms of her hands, when she got up she placed her on a bookshelf and just stared at her for a moment. Hmm, I’ve painted so many beautiful pictures of landscapes and people, but I still haven’t drawn anything of Macy. “Macy do you want to be a drawing?” again she looks at me with interest, I seriously think my bird can read minds or something. If not then I could be going crazy and not even know it. Natalie pulled out the rolling chair tucked in the desk which was right under the bookshelf Macy was resting on. Hey everyone. I enjoy taking pictures of things that I'm interested in, like nature, landscapes, etc. One of the things I like the most is cars. When I see a car that I like, I'm tempted to take a picture to show my friends via Facebook or E-Mail. (I have a little group of friends who all love Ford vehicles, so I enjoy trying to take pictures for them). By taking a picture of a car, in this case, a 2011 F-250 King Ranch Diesel, is it illegal to post it to my Facebook account? If so, how heavily is this enforced otherwise? Well my boyfriend and i are both 18 and it's our first relationship so we're new at this. we've been best friends since like September and we met last May. He's really shy, but so sweet - he doesn't have any enemies..... Anyways - Signs I’m sure: -Stares at me a lot and smiles when I’m near him -Sits towards me (chest facing in and leaning in toward me) -He gets nervous a fair amount -One time I commented on his college T-Shirt saying that I liked it and now he wears it a lot… lol -He copies my moves, like if I go to look towards a place, he’ll look there. If I pick up my cup of water, he’ll pick up his too. -He’d walk me to classes when I was in school and always sit by me -His friends would punch him when he was near – because he was staring at me; I heard them whisper a few times “stop staring at her…” -His friends randomly start IMing me. I know some of them, but I’m not as good of friends as I am with them and they never IMed me before my boyfriend and I became in a relationship. -Whenever we’re sitting next to each other we sit pretty close to each other – basically touching one another’s side -Whenever we’re walking next to each other he walks really close to me. sometimes I want to hold his hand but my butterflies hit me – I will on our next date though lol -Sometimes when I’m doing something, he’ll like get right up behind me and watch what I’m doing and then if I look behind we’ll both lock eyes for a few seconds until one of us looks away -He always answers my calls. If he doesn’t, he always calls back. -Whenever my mom or someone asks to see something of his (like his photography since he’s like amazing at it), he’ll bring it in the next day -He always remembers to do stuff when he says he will even though he has a bad memory (ie like when he told me he’d get the address for his vacation house he was staying at, I thought he’d forget but he actually remembered) -He likes my parents a lot and doesn’t mind what they say (even when my mom starts kind of grilling him and I tell her to stop but he doesn’t mind lol) -He always likes to help me with anything. Yesterday actually we were putting luggage in the car because we were leaving from our vacation (he had just gotten there) and he offered to help. I thought it was so sweet. -He’s becoming more interested in my interest (ie photography – we both like it, horses since I love and own one, animals, technology – basically all the things I love to do; he likes to do them too…) -He never really stops a conversation and he always starts one. He’s shy but we always have something to say to one another. -I met his dad and his dad loves me and I love his dad. Whenever I see his dad his dad always says hi to me and we talk for a little while. -I haven’t met his mom, but that’s because he hates her. Something happened between his mom and his dad (they’re divorced) and he lives with his dad and never sees nor talks to his mom. -I’ve also met two of his grandparents at prom because he had to pick up my corsage at their house. They were so nice and then at graduation I ran into his grandfather and he remembered who I was (ie by his grandson’s date haha) -When we became in a relationship, all of his friends commented on our changed relationship status and liked it. -He talks about his friends a lot and I think he wants me to meet them when they come to town (one of his best friends lives in china and one is in college in another state) Signs I’m not sure about: -He doesn’t answer my texts although I think he just doesn’t like to text -Sometimes we don’t talk for a few days if I don’t call him. One time we didn’t talk for two weeks straight, but now we’ve been talking more since then -He’s never tried to make a move besides asking me out again, standing closely and touching sometimes (like my arm), and slow dancing at prom (he asked me to prom btw) -He kept saying he was busy whenever we tried to work out a day to get together although he really was busy – hopefully this month he’ll be less busy So is he starting to really like me or what's happening? more

Resolved Question: What point-and-shoot would you recommend for 2010?

I've been looking for a replacement camera for my Nikon Coolpix S630 which takes horribly soft photos and absolutely dreads low light/night shots/indoor photography. My criteria for picking is the following: Needs: - Optical zoom greater or equal to 7x (260mm) - Ability to take sharp low light photos (no flash) - Ability to take sharp indoor photos - Generally high degree of sharp photos. Did I mention sharp? :D Needs, but can do without if necessary: - Bracketing for HDR - Compact size - RAW format I know that a DSLR will satisfy most if not all of these but I'm not there yet. In terms of compact size, as long as I'm able to either drop it in a cargo pant pocket (read: not 'slip into your shirt pocket' small) or at the very least be able to put it in a suitcase for car rides, that's my target size. I'm 25 years old and have been dating this guy for almost 10 years (we met in high school, he's 27 yrs old). I am torn whether I should stay or leave, because I just feel like he is not self-motivated to do anything and he's dependent on his parents (not for money, but he works for his father's family business and he doesn't pay for any bills except for his own - such as cell phone, cable etc). I, on the other hand, am a go-getter and I'm a very driven person. I started my own business when I was 18 and have been doing it ever since. I've also recently started a wedding photography business (something I've always been passionate about) to make extra money to pay off my school loans and save for my first home purchase). I just wished he had more drive and was more eager to finish school to pursue something HE'S passionate about (he has an associates degree). On the bright side, he is VERY good to me - he's always there for me, selfless, always puts me first in his life and always thinks about me and for my best interests. My parents and family absolutely love him because he's just an all around great guy, but they don't know how dependent he is on his parents for everything (job, car, house etc). I even told him that it's such a shame how he refuses to go back to school when he's been blessed with parents that could afford to pay his tuition. I initially wanted to go to law school but my parents couldn't afford tuition so I settled for a small school and finished my remaining classes online due to my work schedule. We are a mature couple and have been talking about marriage lately - we don't want to rush into anything so we've really been taking it slow and we want to plan everything. However, I can't help but feel like I'll always have to push him to do things for himself or for us. He is now trying to get himself together and has been working hard to pay off some debt he has because he wants to buy a home together in the near future. He met with a credit counselor and has been saving for some time now - something he never did before. Am I being too picky? Do I have a great guy and am just too blind to realize it? Or have I simply grown and changed? In other words, should love always prevail or is it only half the battle? I have a photography business I just started and am wondering about a tagline. I don't do wedding or portrait photography but more artistic/abstract/fine art. The one thing I boast is I dont have just one "style" or "type" of photo but I have pictures to suit everyone from my 4 yr old niece to my great grandma...even lots that my husband and dad love (tools,hunting,cars etc) Any ideas on a tagline that portrays this? Something alittle more catchy than Photography for anyone and everyone or Photography for any age..lol more

im a loner basically i have one best friend but she has other friends so i dont hang out with her all the time, i dont have any friends and in this town its imposable to make new ones and im sick and tired of staying at home being depressed. i need a hobby i tryed to play a guitar but i failed and my hands are too small ( btw im female ,17 and 5 foot) i dont have my license or a car to go anywhere i tryed reading but im just to impatient to read now after a while it gets boring. im online 24/7 so im sick of the internet. i suck at drawing i dont own a bike and cant write a story or even enjoy writing i dont have any money to go shopping and i live in a small town i do run once in a while but it doesn't really keep me entertained. i tride to get a job but thiers none aviable here im already in good shape im 5 ft and 103 pounds and knitting or crocheting does not sound fun at all haha i did photography or at lest tryed for a while but thats not any fun anymore so help me plz i would hang with friends but everytime i try to make plans they are busy or dont want to hang out and i only have 1 close friend more

hi there, i just recently moved back in with my mom and my little brother after 5 years of being out of the house. this is a temporary situation so i can save up enough money to buy a car and move back out again ( went traveling for the past year). so, right now i am sharing a room with my little brother who is 13 almost 14 years old. he is a very smart, but introverted kid, and i know he has suffered at school due to bullies and bad social skills. question: he spends most of his time playing world of warcraft or other fantasy games on the internet or xbox, and rarely does much else. used to, he would draw and write stories, but since summer set in, he doesnt seem the same. he just lays around the house, staring blankly at things, maybe thinking. he plays a little warcraft, makes a sandwich, then goes to his dads house and does the same thing. he doesnt see his friends (im not sure he has many), and says that everything is "boring". i try to get him out of the house and go hiking and rollerblading, and play music with him and get him working in photography. im still concerned though, because i feel like if it werent for all of my time and efforts (which i give hours a day on top of work and school) that he wont do anything at all. and it has gotten to the point of him looking at me for things to do all the time, and when i am busy or want to do solitary activities, its like he is so bummed and bored. i am so concerned! i dont know how to approach the situation. my mom is always so tired from working 12 hours a day that she just wants time to take a bubble bath in the evening and listen to music, go to bed. AHHH!!! what to do, what to do?i just went into his room and asked if he would talk with me. it took some convincing that it was safe, but he opened up. he told me that he is hurt and very angry from the kids at his school (he was in 7th grade last year). he said that he was "so nice to everyone, even when they were mean to him and bullied him". and that he "stuck up for people and never told their secrets". but he said that it turns out that they "betrayed him" and they werent true friends. :o( jeez. i remember what it was like trying to fit in in middle school, ughhh. it seems like maybe just talking with him this much so far has helped. i wish he only knew like i know now, that he doesnt deserve that treatment, and he shouldnt waste time trying to win the favor of those who treat him badly. more

Resolved Question: How to pick a boyfriend out of 4 boys?

I date four guys, and they requested for real relationship. I don't know who to pick. Four of them come from totally different background compared to mine. we share different mother tongue. They are all from my college. The first one is F, he one year older than me. He is the first one who propose. However, we had some problem in communication. I don't really know what to talk to him. Unless he asked question, i rarely talk about myself. Maybe its due to different culture, sometimes i don't get his jokes. well. i don't know how to tell him my feeling actually. The second one is S. He is 19 years old(Same). We are very close since we went into the college together. We stay as close friends until he broke up with his girlfriend. When i was sick, he took care of me. But, he had a girlfriend that time. The only thing that annoyed me is he just broke up with his girlfriend. Is it too fast for him to move on to next relationship? or is he that desperate? Third one is K. He is 2 years older. We don't hang out that often. So, i don't really see his character. but, we share the same interest, photography. He is a car man and he is good in IT. He is kinda cute, but he is always busy with his works. The last one is M. I don't see his character. I know he cares about his mother the most. But he does not go home often. He gave me an impression he wants sex more than love. So I don't really consider him to be future boyfriend except that he is quite good looking. Besides, he told me he had a crush on another girl. I don't know how to face him knowing the fact that he likes that girl. Who should i pick? or What should i do to come to a decision? more
