I am single (never been married; never cohabited with a man as live-in partner) and just decided to join an online christian dating site since January 2010. It has come to my attention that there are quite a few men with ages 46-50's sending me short note or messages. While I do NOT wish to date a man any younger than me... I was wondering why if this is a reality for me. Do I look old or matured? Do older men like to date younger women? Will my chance of finding men my age or around mid-late 30's or even early 40's is slim? I was thinking about my sister...she got married at such a young age when she was 23 years old to a then 35 years old man. So she was probably right that as women get older, your chance of meeting men is getting slimmer. So perhaps I should have started earlier. I actually kind of remember reading an article about it sometime ago. Being single didn't bother me for a long time until now. I do feel lonely and would love to have a companion, my best friend to share life with (maybe in fairy-tale only). So I got asked a lot if I'm married already by childhood friends/neighbours and relatives. I feel sad about it actually but what can I do if I just don't meet anyone... Well, anyone can have somebody but then love is something else. You have to be with someone you are attracted as well romantically. I must mention that I do come with what may be deemed as baggage to other men. I have one daughter but she is now 17 years of age. I noticed a lot of singles (and a number of divorced men) don't have any child and few mentioned that they don't want a ready-made family and that they wish to build their own. I find some men in their 30's still kind of immature though not necessarily. So men mature late huh? Unless I am just having delusions, I was called attractive by some people before. But perhaps they don't mean it. Because if it is true, why is it hard to find men for someone deemed as attractive? I don't like going to bars or club scenes. I haven't tried going out with men just for dating or sex. Though the idea came to my mind when I was feeling lonely and vulnerable...that life is hard so might as well just do what others are doing and not to care too much. But I was afraid that by doing so, it might just create emotional problems after. I would say that at times, I'm the type who feels guilty easily and just does not have that brazen feeling deep inside. Like, how does it feel to date men without truly feeling love itself from both sides? Maybe I'm not such a good pretender as well. Though like other people, I am a human being, not made of stone. I do have carnal desire as well. I have been celibate for few years, a year on and off for well over 10 years. Maybe that's just one of things people loser in love say to make them feel better about themselves. Perhaps God didn't have that grace for me for some reason... Please pray for me that I can live a reasonably okay life being single. To those who can pray for just a random person like me who is besieged by many sad things in life, thank you very much. more

I recently bought a t-shirt and a hoodie from an online retailer. On the retailer's website it said that if I purchase one of their hoodie's I should choose the size up from the t shirt size I bought from them. Hence I bought a large size t-shirt and also ordered an XL hoodie. However, whilst the t shirt fits fine the hoodie is enormous compared to my other hoodies (all of which are size large). I went back to the retailer's website to see if I could exchange it for a smaller size, but on their refunds/exchanges section of the site it states that any returns/exchanges must be unworn and in their original sealed packaging. I've only tried the hoodie on just to see if it fits, as you would do in a shop, but when I contacted them about getting an exchange they said I wouldn't be able to exchange it. What are my rights? I want to buy a movie online, from a respected/valid site, download it, and done! > No software to use other than my own players (currently VLC). Popular formats like AVI or MP4. Nothing with razzle and dazzle. > No limits to which computer I watch it on. Meaning, I want to download it and stick it on my network drive so I could watch it at my desk on my desktop, in the living room on a laptop, or take it on my travel laptop. No copying limits! > I can back it up on external media like a DVD-R if I choose to (if worth it and the rest could care less if a drive crashes). > Viewable in full screen like an actual DVD. > Be nice they also sell shows: Sanctuary, Doctor Who, Carpica, Sarah Jane, Torchwood, Satrgate Universe (wow, all are on SYFY too). > Is located in the United States of America because, well, I live here and do not want to deal with some outside source. My reasons are to make sure I am buying a digital movie with the same rights as I would buying the hard copy. Not having to deal with money conversions. Knowing it is legal. Those reasons. I look for digital because takes up less space in the place and easier to have 10 movies on my travel unit than lugging around 10 DVDs as well that can get damaged and have to buy again. I am not rich, as the entertainment industry seems to think people are. Let me go over. Buy movies, not download via torrents and have the MPAA send SWAT after me (I could only take on 4-5 in hand to hand, not a few dozen at once) claiming I am the cause of them loosing millions because I downloaded a movie and some episodes. I do not need that. I looked into Blockbuster but they do not fit most of the above, like needing certain software (which will not work after you leave them), copying limits, and more. I discussed this with them for weeks (because some of them had no clue how to answer my technical questions). So, legal, valid, digital, full rights as if I bought the actual DVD. Why? > Saves space. I do not need to have tons of DVDs when I have little space. I have been buying DVDs for years. Got a collection, but they are taking up a lot of shelves. Makes less room for new books. > Not everything is worth buying that has to be on a DVD (hence, not worth backing up the digital version either). > Saves resources. I do not need to have more trees killed for a movie I may not like. > I move often. Less to pack! > Renting stuff is not an option since, well, I would not own it. > Playing in VLC, for example, I can put on a bunch of things in queue to play in random order. Nice. > I do not have to rely on a broadband connection to watch something for oh so many reasons (bottlenecks, lag, dead router, down web service, airplanes, airplanes, airplanes, non-net acess, etc etc etc). Hope I made my point. So, if you know of any online vendors that do this legit, please do tell. I think I gave enough examples of what I require to look into what you may post back with. Therefore, if you mention something that goes against the above (renting, illegal downloading, etc), it may not be worth the time to reply with your comments. Been dying to ask this for a long time. I just moved into the state of Kansas and there is not that chain of food stores as far as i am concerned. I am in the city of Lawence in Kansas, someone please help me out as to where i can find some. There is a food that i prepare using them and it is a staple food to me in my culture so i cannot live without. Hey there! I need to read a book ASAP. I was wondering if anybody knew a site where I can download ''The Practice of Public Relations" 10th edition. I would prefer a free site cause I'm a bit cautious of giving away my credit card number to an unknown site.
