Welcome to What Makes A Leader Answers
Open Question: Please read, if you have time. Criticism and praise appreciated, but criticism is more useful--->?
This is just a supplementary little side story I came up with so I could try to understand my characters a little better. It's not supposed to have a plot really, it's just mainly dialogue. If it's a little wordy, I wasn't writing for others' eyes, it was mainly for my benefit. I'd just like to know what you think, so when I work on the main story, I can apply your critique. Tired Bastian looked at me with tired eyes. “Alex, I can’t do this anymore. What we can do, well, it’s so little. I’m tired of being the privileged Prince. I’m tired of having more food and clothing than I know what to do with, when I’ve spent time in the Lesser City’s slums. I’m tired of being in charge. I’m tired of having to make decisions, Alex. What am I supposed to do when a man is brought to me on Trial Day for theft of food for his four year old daughter and pregnant wife? And yet the storekeeper he stole the food from is just as impoverished as he is. He needs the coin for his own family. “Alex, I had to judge him today. I had to fine the man who stole, when I wish I could have given him all the food in the kitchens, and given the storekeeper enough coin to keep his store going for another year. I feel like I’m not doing enough. I’m just so tired.” As usual, we were in my room. I was at my desk by the window, copying out maps. When Bastian had come in wearily and collapsed onto my bed, I had thought that maybe the late nights and long days were starting to catch up to him. Now I began to think that the irregular hours were the least of Bastian’s troubles. I set aside the map and looked at him, really looked at him. To my blind eye, he looked thinner than he used to. Good looking, of course. He always had been. But sharper around the cheekbones, bags under his eyes. His blue eyes were as stunning as they ever were, of course, but now they held a weariness and sadness they had never held before. And just his posture as he sat up communicated a bone-deep tiredness of the body and soul. I hadn’t noticed before, and I was ashamed. In my defense, Bastian was a very good actor. Around others, he appeared as fearless and capable as always. Alone with me now, though, he had let down his guard. And I could have kicked myself for not seeing already how worn out he was. That was just the physical aspect of it. With my Sight, I examined him. His aura, which was normally a soft glow of calming colors- blue, green, purple- was jagged. Flashes of energy spiked about his figure. I was alarmed. Bastian was at his breaking point, and I, his cousin, his oldest friend, his confidante in all things, hadn’t seen it. “Oh, Bastian,” I whispered. “I’m so sorry.” He glanced at me, surprised. “What are you sorry about? I’m the one who should be apologizing to you, griping about my life when I know I’m so well off.” He gave me a small smile. I could have cried. I left my desk and went to sit beside him on my bed as we had done as children. “Bastian, don’t you know that even you deserve a break? Your job is far from easy, and you need a rest.” He began to protest. I shook my head. “Damn it, Bastian. You’re the only hope our kingdom has. You can’t drive yourself into the ground like this. Mat and I, we have our talents. Aster has his. You, now you. You’re the leader. People will follow you wherever you go. I would. So won’t you please understand that you’re the kindest, most just Prince anyone could wish for? You may feel like you don’t do enough, but you do all you can. It’s all we can do, Bast.” He closed his eyes. “You flatter me.” “I don’t,” I snapped. “I mean every word I say.” I softened my tone as I continued, “Besides, don’t you know we’re in this together? Anytime it gets too much for you, you know that I’m here, and so is Mat. And Aster is only a ride away.” He nodded. “I know. But- I’m still tired.”EDIT: Sunpies, I know. :/ He does come across as Larry Sue-ish at times, which I've been trying to avoid like the plague in the actual main story. This is more for my own entertainment, and I indulged myself a bit. Bastian's main fault in the "novel", though, is propensity not to care about what the others think. This come of being royalty, I suppose, but he'll listen the others ideas out, then he'll go ahead and do whatever he thinks is best anyway... He also has another significant flaw, but it doesn't come into play until later in the story... (: moreOpen Question: Can you look at this for me. Less than 600 words. :D?
So this is the beginning part to a novel I'm writing. Can you please tell me your thought on it? Thanks BB :D The light of the full moon was shining down on her. Everywhere around her people were in different states of undress, preparing for the change that was going to happen. Next month it would be her turn. She could feel her heart beat with excitement. Squirming on the tree limb, she let her eyes wander over her pack-mates. She could feel her beast's need to run with the pack, her skin tingled from the energy building up inside her. Her hands ran over her arms trying to sooth the energy that was pricking her skin. A shout from the pack leader called the pack to order. She could see Maddor, his arms and legs bending with his transformation, and the silvery hair of his fur, slowly covering his skin. It was time. As their leader changed, the pack followed. Their once human bodies, bending and twisting with the change, and their fur slowly covered their skin. As the last of the pack finished their change, Abby, her hungry eyes never straying from her packmates, felt the beast inside her howl, desperate to join the pack that was preparing for their run. As much as she and her beast longed to join them, she knew it was far too dangerous to run with the pack while in her human form. Once their beasts took over, especially during a hunt, they acted just as their nature called for them to do. Abby sat on the tree limb, and waited, waited until the pack would return. As the night grew colder, Abby wished for the higher heat that would come when she first changed. Soon Abby's eyes began to close, and she felt weariness overcome her. The pack would be gone for quite a while still, so Abby let her body slump against the tree trunk, and closed her eyes. Telling herself it would only be for awhile. "Abby! Abby!” Startling awake, Abby had to grab onto the tree as she felt her body fall forward. "Tyler you idiot, hasn't you momma taught you to not wake a girl sleeping in a tree." "Okay, just thought you might want to get to school on time." School? School! Shit! what time was it. Looking at the watch on her wrist, Abby swore and frantically started climbing down the tree. Mr Varner would kill her if she was late again. An hour later Abby was dressed and ready for school. If she ran she would just make it in time. Closing the front door to her house, Abby walked the short distance from the front of her house to the little trail that led to the forest near her house. Once at the forests edge she checked to make sure her packback was secure on her back and then started to run. The trees blurred to smudgy green as she swiftly ran, her long legs quickly eating up the ground under her. Abby knew every rock, tree and limb in the forest, she had run in here since she was able to tottle. She nimbly jumped over a fallen tree limb, the speed and exhilaration of the run causing her to laugh in delight. All to soon Abby reached the end of the forest and into the busy part of Respin town. Respin was one of only a few city in the world which was only for werewolves. ‘Normals’, as she called them, were not even aware of what, or where Respin was. Now that she was closer to the school Abby started to slow to a walk. Familiar shouts and calls were everywhere. The community was small enough that everyone knew each other. moreOpen Question: How does Obama's "SURRENDER" to the Islamic Terrorist in Iraq the other day, make you feel?
========= ***ALERT*** ========= Please no "Dropping the Race Card", as a response. I know for the Liberal Socialist this is something darn near impossible, but if it is in any way... do not do it. I will call you out on it and embarrass you in front of the entire room. Not to mention the fact it is an idiots way out anyways, but I thought I would be nice and warn you all before the Liberal Socialist make fools of themselves...AGAIN! Thank you ands enjoy the question. ======================================… Are you upset that once again Obama showed his true colors and bowed before the Islamic Terror menace again. (He sure seems to bow a lot, huh?) He tried to make it sound like combat is over and we are leaveing because the job is done, but even the average Liberal Socialist is (barely) smart enough to know it isn't, but at the same time; is afraid to speak out against him, else be labeled a racist for doing so. So how many more things is Obama going to surrender to? How many more people like Islamic Kings and Communist leaders is he going to bow before? ( The King of Saudi Arabia, and The Premier of China). How long are the Liberal Socialist going to pretend that Obama is NOT hurting the country and more then likely doing so by design or at the whims of other nations and organisations. What do you think, all views are welcome but try to keep them valid and maybe we can debate then. Thank you.To BROWN 950: You sound like a moron, a moron... Liberal Socialism never works, move on...To FL SWAMP ...and you molested how many newborns...? Sorry this is a posting about polirtics, not you NAMBLA affiliation or desires. Michelle McCluer, who is executive director of the Washington-based National Institute of Military Justice, is responsible for prosecuting our soldiers for doing what they have been trained to do, kill the enemy. We all know that war causes the loss of innocent lives, but what do we exspect, it's war. If we were in the shoes of the marines that are getting shot at or bombed on a daily basis, would we have done something different? I know I wouldn't have done a single thing any different than the marines did. Shoot or be shot. Do your job, kill the enemy. Train day and night and learn how to best kill the enemy. That is how a soldier is trained. Now McCluer wants to send and has sent our marines and soldiers to prison. It is sad that innocent people had to die, but isn't it also sad that our marines and soldiers had to die? They did what they were trained to do under very extreme conditions. Imagine finding a fellow marine or soldier that you have lived with, trained with, learned to do what you were told to do with, and bled with trying to be your best, imagine finding that person in filth ridin mud hut with his head cut off. How fast would you pull the trigger when you perceived someone as a threat to your life or your capture? If you don't react instantly you could be the one that falls first, or you could be the one that feels that dull blade sawing thru your neck, and I'm sure that sawing lasted forever. Our government told our millitary leaders to train the finest soldiers the world has ever known, teach them to take one shot and make one kill with that shot. So our millitary leaders did just that. Our soldiers and marines do not waste brass. Do you think McCluer should pass judgement on the marines and soldiers that are serving OUR country out there where you can see sand in every direction that reaches the horizon? It is not fair. Casualties of war, it will happen, and McCluer should know that. No questions asked, I have our marines and soldiers back. Can you say the same thing McCuer? moreOpen Question: I can't stay in this school any longer?
I can't stand this school any longer, and I'm dreading going back on monday. It's not so much the school, It's the people in it. Mainly my "friends". I can't deal with any of their crap any longer, and they're the reason I previously dropped out for five months. When they don't have a problem with you, It's great. When you've done something to "annoy them", oh shit, girl, expect to be treated like shet all day. I don't know what I've done, nor do I care. I think It was not answering a question they asked me to do with my personal life, and plucking my eyebrows. Oh, and apparently having no friends. So today at school, they completely Ignored me for two lessons, even though I was sitting next to them. They then had the cheek to ask me why I didn't wait for them, Is it because I didn't see them? I told them I did see them and they started laughing in a shocked way, and telling me that's rude. The "leader" even said, "I was going to say something, but It's to rude. Don't worry", whilst giving me dirty looks. Did I mention she's the fakest b*tch I know? She's managed to befriend everyone in the year, whilst bitching to us about them. The other girls also follow her around like she's something special. Oh, and she's planning on having sex with this boy and giving him head whilst she "has a boyfriend who she loves, and has never felt this way about someone before". Save It for someone who actually believes you, babe. I can't deal with it, again. None of the other girl in the group like me either, apart from one. But that's because they're not really talking to her either. I've heard them talking about me, and seen them giving me evil looks all freaking day. The shet they're said and done to me, I actually class them as the most horrible people I know. Ever. Lied, Stollen, Spread rumours.. the list goes on.There's no "getting" away from them, they're in all my classes. I can't make friends with anyone else either, because no one else Is to keen on me anymore, "because of the things they've heard about me". I haven't done anything, with anyone ever. So I don't know what people have been making up. The only other friends I have are boys, and I can't hang around with them all day every day. I can't deal with this anymore. I can't deal with their shet. I know It doesn't sound to bad, but It must of been If I dropped out and am thinking of dropping out again? I have to get out of this school. They're ruined me, after how they treated me last time.. I got depression and anxiety from staying at home all day. I'm seriously thinking of stopping going to school again, so I can be transferred quickly.I've also failed the majorty of my classes, by getting the same results as I got two years ago in most subject. Due to being absent, and not playing attention. To belive I was the smartest girl in the class at one point.xoxo - You haven't seen how people look at me when I talk to them now. I CAN'T make any other friends. Even my old ones have either left school because of these girls, or aren't friend with me no more.Holy Smokes =): The rumours that where started about me mostly revolved around the boys. So no, hanging out with them isn't an option. They also play football all break and lunch time. Meh -__-.Abbie: You're sugestion was great. I have resisted the urge to swing for her a couple of times. I've also thourght about getting myself excluded, but never gone through with it. Because that's low -___-. moreOpen Question: Could you ever be friends with this person again?
( This is all for a book I am writing, I'm just having serious issues with this because it's such a complicated situation. Please, don't tell me to think of it myself because I AM, I just want to hear your opinions because that will help GREATLY with MY decision. ) So imagine there is a war (not gun and bomb, but s serious war all over the world for power). You are friends with a group of 3 people. They are your best friends and you all support and are a HUGE help the "good" side. Suddenly, you are pulled from the "good" side and placed on the "bad" side as a spy. No one knows but you and a few select people (leaders of the "good" and other spy's). Your friends do not know and you can't tell them. Throughout the war you are feeding information to the "good" side while also pretending to be evil. One day your mission from the "bad" side is to capture your friends and bring them to the leader for questioning and torture. You capture them, bring them there, they are tortured a little. Then you create a distraction so they can escape before they are killed. The war lasts for 2 years, the whole time your friends think you are cruel, mean, and evil. But really you are good. The "good" side wins and it is revealed to everyone that you were a spy the whole time. If you were the friends, could you ever be friends with the spy again? I'm on the fence, I don't know if I should have the group try to become best friends again, or if they should become acquaintances, because 2 years of thinking that someone betrayed you and hating them would make it hard to become their friend again. But do you think they should try? 2 YEARS is a LONG time.. ( again I just need your opinions because hearing what someone else thinks gets my brain functioning and I start thinking of what I would want to happen ) Thanks ((: moreOpen Question: Was the Soviet Union and communism really that bad?
i mean, i know that Stalin was an evil person, but stuff like that happens in a newly forming and rapidly advancing country. but after Stalin, it seemed the leaders tried to make it a better place again to live. the idea of communism doesnt seem like an evil thing, and i actually like the thought of not having super-rich people and super poor people but just a middle class. if the Soviets had won and taken over the States, would it have gotten better? also was the US during the Cold War what the USSR was shown as to us? like did the people of Russia see the US as an evil place as we saw the USSR as an evil place? or did they know that the USA was a better place to live? moreOpen Question: LDS, Mormon, could this be one reason that people believe that....?
The LDS church teaches that God had physical relations with MARY to conceive Jesus Christ? "Literal Seed." "The Father had a Son, a natural Son, his own literal Seed, the Offspring of his body." Author: Bruce R. McConkie Source: Promised Messiah Page: 355 and "And Christ was born into the world as the literal Son of this Holy Being; he was born in the same personal, real, and literal sense that any mortal son is born to a mortal father. There is nothing figurative about his paternity; he was begotten, conceived and born in the normal and natural course of events, for he is the Son of God, and that designation means what it says." Author: Bruce R. McConkie Source: Mormon Doctrine Page: 742 Yes, the LDS church believes that God has a literal body of flesh and bone, That's no argument, right? Bruce McConkie makes it pretty clear... Quote from above... I can totally see what these leaders are saying and teaching. Why cant you? Thoughts?Linda, why was Bruce McConkie (An Apostle of the Lord) not "honest & factual?" As you call it...Kings, A few PROPHETS taught this. Brigham Young, JF Smith, and more. Why say that the apostles and such's teachings do not count. They are also chosen and anointed also? Where was the prophet(s) at the time. Certainly he could clear things up...right?Drew, I agree. I was just asking if this "could be why people ASK about this." :) I know currant LDS members follow how the church is turning on certain beliefs. It changes with the times....IMHO.Lottalou, You use the word "literal" (when describing the Lord's physical body, etc) just as Bruce McConkie does when describing the "conception" of Jesus. and God using his "literal seed." Literal means... not figurative or metaphorical. moreOpen Question: did the emperors of the Romans ever wage war against any of their appointed leaders in their provinces?

http://www.myfoxny.com/dpp/news/local_news/manhattan/mosque-investors-donation-investigation-20100902 Mosque Investor Was Terror Contributor Updated: Friday, 03 Sep 2010, 9:25 AM EDT Published : Thursday, 02 Sep 2010, 6:01 PM EDT BY CHARLES LEAF MYFOXNY.COM - Fox 5 News reported Thursday that one of the financial backers of the Islamic mosque and cultural center project in Lower Manhattan once contributed to a terror group, although the investor says the contribution was made because he thought he was giving money to a harmless charity. One of the key players in Sharif El-Gamal's Mosque near Ground Zero is Egyptian born businessman, Hisham Elzanaty. Fox 5 News has learned exclusively and confirmed with Mr. Elzanaty’s attorney that Elzanaty made a “significant investment” in the development of the mosque near Ground Zero. Fox 5 has also uncovered Elzanaty has teamed up with El-Gamal on at least two real estate deals: the controversial mosque site and another deal involving a commercial property in the Chelsea section of Manhattan. In the Chelsea deal, mortgage documents show Elzanaty played a major role signing off as the guarantor on El-Gamal's $39 million mortgage. When Fox 5 News reporter Charles Leaf tracked down Elzanaty outside his Long Island home in Roslyn Heights last week Elzanaty avoided the camera and did not answer a single question about his business dealings with El-Gamal. Fox 5 News has also learned that in 1999 Hisham Elzanaty sent money to an organization that would later be deemed by the U.S. government to be a terrorist group. The organization was the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, also known as HLF. The now defunct group’s 1999 tax records show Elzanaty contributed more than $6,000 to HLF. Two years later, in 2001, HLF was shut down by the federal government and designated as a global terrorist. After a mistrial in 2007, in 2008 five HLF leaders were convicted of providing material support to Hamas. The Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) is a non-profit research group that focuses on radical Islamic terrorist groups. The research group shared its information on HLF with Fox 5 News and IPT’s Managing Director, Ray Locker tells us HLF, “masked what their true purpose was, they funneled money to Hamas which used that money to conduct terrorist operations. In many cases they gave that money to the widows and children of so-called martyrs. ” Federal investigators say HLF was set up as the largest Muslim charity in the United States based in Richardson, Texas, but from its inception the group existed to support Hamas. Mr. Elzanaty's attorney tells Fox 5 News exclusively his client believed he was making contributions to an orphanage. But IPT’s Ray Locker claims even back then TV and newspapers were reporting suspicions of the group’s ties to terror. “If you gave money (to HLF) in 1999 you probably had some inkling that HLF was giving money to Hamas and therefore to terrorist operations,” Locker says. Mr. Elzanaty's contribution to HLF came in the same year his Egyptian parents, Abdou Elzanaty and Abed Raboh Fawkia Elzanaty, were killed in a plane crash. On October 31, 1999, Egyptair flight 990 left New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport bound for Cairo, but crashed in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Nantucket Island killing 217 people. U.S. investigators concluded the flight’s pilot deliberately crashed the plane in a suicide, while Egyptian investigators disagreed, concluding the flight had mechanical problems. Elzanaty’s attorney tells Fox 5 the tragic plane crash changed Mr. Elzanaty's life and brought him closer to Islam. -------------- See below for the 1999 IRS 990 form for the organization known as: Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF). It shows Hisham Elzanaty’s $6,050 contribution. (Specific street addresses and names have been removed by Fox 5 News) In 2001 the HLF was shut down by the U.S. government and designated as a global terrorist. After a mistrial in 2007, in 2008 five HLF leaders were convicted of providing material support to Hamas, a group on the U.S. governments List of Foreign Terrorists. I've known this guy for the second year already and he's like a superbly good guitarist. Both of us are section leaders in our school's Guitar Ensemble so I've been together with him during our activities quite often. I like him but I don't know whether it's developing into a crush. His personality is really nice but he's that way to everyone anyway. My heart doesn't race when I see him but it does make me happy to see him though I don't know whether this feeling is the same when I see another friend. He's also slightly immature because he's a year younger than me... But I don't know whether I'm crushing on him. And even if I'm crushing on him, I don't know whether the reason is he himself or the music he plays (I'm musically inclined). Any way to confirm what I really feel? moreResolved Question: Need advice!!! Your honest opinion?
Okay, I have this little problem, and I'm going to try to make it short so you guys don't get bored. So about two years ago in 7th grade, I met this girl who became my best friend. She was really fun to hang around, liked to do the same things I did, and I could tell her anything. I've always been the kind of person that has lots of friends, but I really need that one best friend. But she has a lot of quirks because she is so insecure. She's very pretty now, but a while back, she wasn't so pretty, and i think she still has issues from that time. So she will never complement anyone else, everything is ALWAYS a competition, and she can be very patronizing. Her biggest thing is that she is obsessed with boys, will go out with anyone, and brags incessantly when she has a boyfriend. I'm the kind of person that doesn't really like any of the guys in high school because they are all kind of stupid, and all the relationships around i have seen end badly. (Don't get it into your head that I can't get a bf, because i know that's what some people will think. Heck, that's what i would think. But no, I have plenty of offers ha) Also, one of my biggest quirks is that I don't like anyone telling me or trying to make me do anything. She bosses me around and sometimes manipulates me into doing what she wants. I think that after all these years, she thinks she can control me. So finally, I got tired of it. I have a leader kind of personality, and it is really stifling having to be around someone that thinks you have to obey them. Anyway, I stopped, abruptly, being friends with her when she stole my other friend's boyfriend (that boy thing again.) That wasn't really the reason I stopped being friends with her, but she doesn't know that. I feel bad because i didn't even really talk to her about anything, I just cut off communication. Now we are going into high school and we haven't talked since the middle of 8th grade and we are both going to be in this Humanities Center (Where we have social studies, english, and a humanities class). I am going to be in the same classes with her for the next 4 years! I also have two other classes with her. I have other friends that I can be with but it is still going to be awkward. Should I reconcile with her? I sort of miss how fun she used to be and I miss having that one best friend that really understands me. But what I don't miss is going to parties and seeing her on the floor with some guy, and finding a guy that i actually like and having to hear her bad mouth him to me because she doesn't want me to have a bf and her not to. I remember she really hurt my self confidence and made me into a person that I didn't want to be, but what other alternative do I have? And if you say that I should not be friends with her again, what should I do when I see her? How should our relationship be from here on out? moreOpen Question: Legend of the Soul Mates?
I think the legend of the Soul Mates seems very interesting or maybe it's too superstitious, what do you guys think? Soul Mates Finding our way back to wholeness We all long for wholeness, don’t we? Long to be full and complete in ourselves, and often this translates into the longing for a special person to share our lives with, and even, to complete us. But where does this longing come from? Partly, from our natural desire as a child, for ‘union’ with our opposite-sex parent. This natural loving desire usually presses Mum or Dad’s buttons as being somehow ‘improper’ and it gets quashed, leaving us with the message ‘I can’t join and be complete’. This unfulfilled yearning for completeness then plays out in our relationships. Even this though, is just part of a deeper story. Legend has it that originally we were androgenous, masculine and feminine, combined. We got split off eons ago into male and female and have been trying to put ourselves back together ever since! This inner yearning, and conflict, is played out, over and over, in the so called ‘battle between the sexes’. As our consciousness evolves as a planet, and we become more aware, certain issues come up from time to time for ‘planetary healing’. In other words, a theme or story evolves that many of us are working on collectively in our relationships. So it is, just now, where it seems the understandable rage that women have felt towards men, for their warlike actions on the planet, and also, the anger women feel towards themselves for allowing it to happen, is being worked on. (Not blaming men, it’s just an interesting overall theme which may or may not apply to you). There now seems to be a genuine desire from women to co-create with their men, but not at the expense of ‘the old way’ with the man always having to be the leader! Many of the women around me seem weary of this model! How to attain equality for co-creation, without butting heads? Instead of fighting with him about control, try modeling co-creation. In other words, come to him with the beginnings of something you want to create together, and invite him to join you. The other theme at the moment is ‘to allow’. So instead of arguing and pushing for what you want, open and allow it to come to you. It creates a space in between where the sexes at least have an opening for... a meeting! A soul mate is generally thought of as someone with whom we have a very deep soul connection, and have lived many lives together. So how do you know when you meet them? Well, everything we’ve ever experienced in every lifetime is recorded in our aura as feelings. When you meet someone you have a close connection with, you will feel a sense of familiarity, a ‘knowing’. This is because you have felt this person before and are familiar with their energy. So what happens once you find your soul mate? Bliss? Melding? Oh noooo! Quite the opposite! The joy of soul mate is that you are traveling through the universal continuum together for the purpose of becoming whole and experiencing all the different aspects of yourselves. So, when you meet, your soul mate will automatically possess the most finely honed ability ever, for pushing your buttons, so you get to experience any parts of yourself that are not whole, and heal them. This is of course, the most wonderful, precious and treasured gift. Though not necessarily easy to live with. You will learn and heal more about yourself than you thought possible. And you will want to strangle them one minute and worship them the next! It is the strength of the love that will make you stay, even though it might be uncomfortable, so that you can overcome and heal the various things you need to work on together. Hang in there, I’m told it improves after the first couple of years. Soulmates who have been together a while eventually overcome their major differences and then settle into co-creating their lifes’ work together. Inviting in your soulmate meditation Relax, breathe deeply, and find yourself in the perfect space for you and your soulmate to meet. Feel comfortable and safe. There is a door in front of you. Beyond the door, your soul mate is waiting. Allow the door to open, and greet them. Invite them to come towards you. Talk to them. They have a gift to give you. Allow and accept it and thank them and give them your gift in return. Take a moment to talk a bit more. Dwell there with them for a time. And then gently return to the room. moreOpen Question: What sould the logo maker do? How to be a Logo designer?

Does everyone really think deep down that the world is a bit messed up ? i.e... everyone is just doing there jobs, having careers, helping society go on and move on like do leaders of the world really just go to bed and believe that there country is great because of them, or they really have fears like the rest of us? do they still think deep down that society is some how corrupted and messy? Yet they have no control or power to correct it so they ignore it because most of the superpowers of the world are democratic and they would just be voted out if they said the world was messed up or something like that? are we all really just hiding these feelings of doubt from the highest people in society to the man in the gutter? have we just all locked ourselves into this 'society system'? I see this from questions and answers on yahoo and from opinions from news articles from online news papers. Everyone seems to be a rebel knocking against society and what the 'professionals' say yet these people that make opinions and ask questions are also the professionals making the world go around but just in other areas or careers moreResolved Question: Will Republicans make Obama also ride the coat tails of the GOP Congress and Senate into legitimacy?
Its almost identical of what is going to happen in November when the GOP wins both the Senate and House, this time by a much bigger margin than in 1994 when Newt was named speaker of the house and Dole the Senate leader. Now this took a tremendously failed president in Clinton who would have no doubt gone down in flames in his second election (put the 3rd party Ross Perot factor aside for a moment which split Dole's victory for President in Clinton's second election)..............but will Obama start looking more like he is actually competent after the GOP begin to turn things around one year after they take the house and senate this November? And second question, is Obama the most Aloof president and out of touch President in the History of the United States of America's History and will Obama's dismal failure prevent any African A**merican candidate from ever taking the Oval Office ever again with one of those sayings..............."screw me once shame on you..........screw me twice shame on me".........that type of thinking when the next black guy runs for president in the future, maybe 20 years from now???? moreOpen Question: RWE Friday Night Frenzy Rate & Promo Please?

Well here's my story as best as i can recolect. Im just a 12 year old boy who wants to be a Totodile(pokemon) and well...things were going great back then when i was at the pokemon crew that leader Charmander signed me up for and then my account back then got hacked so i couldnt stay active for leader Charmander and after a few hours yesterday on my hacked account, i got removed from the crew list. See, here's what his profile says "I am the leader of the pokemon crew. You may join us, but please mail me so i can add you to the list. If you are not active enough for the week i will remove you from the list." So i apologized to leader Charmander for not being active over my hacked account and he hasnt replied back. And now its got me sad and i really wanted to help him and the others who wanna become pokemon become one and its making me have bad dreams about it.I mean, i was the one who conviced him to work together with me and help the both of us become pokemon. moreOpen Question: Ideas for this short story?
Anyone have any ideas what I could do with a short story I'm writing for English? So far, I wrote about me and my friend from when I was a kid. It starts out with a long description of my neighborhood which was in the ghetto, and I wrote a long description about how my friend was homeless. All based on non-fiction so far. I decided I want to take it in a fictional direction while still having it somewhat believable. I started about this one time in real life when we were mugged by older kids, but decided to make the leader of them male. I'd like to make it linking to her past somehow and know where to take it from there. Or I could scrap the whole mugging part altogether if there are better ideas. If anyone wants me to email the story to them, I could. Thanks in advance!Actually, we had a peer review, and everybody who reviewed it said both the descriptions were awesome. They were the ones who suggested it should be more about my friend because it was such an interesting background and whatnot on her. I'm also very fond of my neighborhood description in there. In any case, I'm not really sure what to do with the mugging. I'd like to make it deeper than just, we were mugged and lost our candy. I was thinking about making it where one of my future closest friends was the mugger and how we bonded and grew to be friends. But I don't know, that's not really my thing. I couldn't write that well. I'd like something more exciting and/or intriguing. Maybe link the mugger to my friend somehow? Idk. Need ideas. moreOpen Question: Speaking of Religion and Peace, President Obama, family, Jews and all others, do I sound URGENT in giving?
a fair notice as a JW who cares? President Obama you used the words Peace and Security again. After decades of failed attempts a "settlement" in a year's time? Once the people notice Jehovah's people have not been their enemies but their paid religious leaders are their enemies a Justice "settlement" will come! The persecutors lead by the rich mainstream religious leaders will have to give "settlement" to the persecuted JW's by the United Nations human rights global constitution! Justice will be done Luke 18:1-8 fact! Matthew 23:37-39, most religions do not get the clue here, “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the killer of the prophets and stoner of those sent forth to her,—how often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks together under her wings! But YOU people did not want it. Look! YOUR house is abandoned to YOU. For I say to YOU, YOU will by no means see me from henceforth until YOU say, ‘Blessed is he that comes in Jehovah’s name!’” Who today only come to all their neighbors globally in that name of the Jewish God Jehovah? The fleshly Jews were abandoned because they abandoned their God Jehovah, now the only genuine Christian faith putting that name on high is the ones using it in their religious name Jehovah's Witnesses and have been persecuted globally not blessed as Jesus said to do. Peace and Security is with Spiritual Israel today who obey and worship that one true God Jehovah now. Only the peaceful got this part right at Proverbs 18:10 "The name of Jehovah is a strong tower. Into it the righteous runs and is given protection." So when it looks like mankind has Peace and all is well note what Jehovah's word the Bible says at, 1 Thessalonians 5:3 "Whenever it is that they are saying: “Peace and security!” then sudden destruction is to be instantly upon them just as the pang of distress upon a pregnant woman; and they will by no means escape." Since fleshly Jews have been abandoned watch out! Suddenly destruction is to be instantly upon them! And no way out! Fleshly Jews and others who did not run to the only true God Jehovah will by no means escape! Jehovah does not lie the Devil does see John 8:44 please! If you love your family and life escape now and come to Jehovah! Your own free will choice running out fast! But if YOU people do not want it. Look! YOUR house is abandoned to YOU! Can there be real Peace and Security by next year? Does history sound like that is likely? Do not be fooled run to Jehovah now before it is too late dear global beloved neighbors! We cannot make that choice for you! You have to see the need! Or do you believe they will have Peace by next year? URGENT to reason on no matther who I am, true?It is no a rant are a violation only an invite to run to Jehovah before it is too late! It is not getting into the political world it is only pointing out the two choices all people globally have! Imperfect human rule or rule by the only true God Jehovah. Since Adam and Eve eat from that one tree that choice was given us all. They made a choice to disobey and so the imperfect world we have today that cannot in truth ever bring lasting true peace and security. Once they believe they have it the end will come. They have tried their hand at ruling themselves and it just does not work! The facts are in the news daily! Have noted that? Will the two sides do the heavy lifting toward LASTING Peace & Security in fact as Clinton said will be needed 24/7 in a year? Keep on the watch! By Writers Matthew Lee And Matti Friedman, Associated Press Writers – 24 mins ago September 02, 2010 8:15 AM Clinton opens new round of Mideast peace talks At a ceremony in the State Department's ornate Benjamin Franklin room, Clinton said the Obama administration was committed to bringing about a settlement in a year's time. But she stressed that after decades of failed attempts, the heavy lifting must be done by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. "You each have taken an important step toward freeing your peoples from the shackles of a history we cannot change," Clinton said. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100902/ap_on_go_ca_st_pe/us_us_mideast_talks How about other hot spots in the world? How likely are mankind ruling leaders to keep them all cool 24/7 daily, yearly? Over all JW's do it!If Jehovah's Witnesses do not take their own spiritual actions seriously they know the bad out come for them also like at Galatians 5:19-21 "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, and they are fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct, idolatry, practice of spiritism, enmities, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, contentions, divisions, sects, envies, drunken bouts, revelries, and things like these. As to these things I am forewarning YOU, the same way as I did forewarn YOU, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s kingdom." They know they must live up to this Galatians 5:22,23 "On the other hand, the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control. Against such things there is no law." Galatians 6:7 says, "Do not be misled: God is not one to be mocked. For whatever a man is sowing, this he will also reap;" 8 Live by the "flesh [we] will reap corruption" Live by the "spirit [we] will reap everlasting life"LOVEIf no human globally mocked Jehovah God and in genuine truth lived up to his loving spirit would all hot spots cool off and would not be any more war and hate toward any neighbor at all? That has to be a personal choice for each human to live up to the spirit and not mocked Jehovah as if he does not see their good or bad actions. You think the would leaders or religious leaders are not noticed by the all seeing God Jehovah? You think he does not see us too? Think again! Do not be fooled! moreOpen Question: did I make a mistake in marrying a man from another culture?
I am a woman from a Northern European country, and I have been married to an Iraqi man for 3 years now. We live in my country, and people around me always ask why I chose to marry him instead of a man from my own country. My parents didin't approve of him, and now they are telling me that I made the wrong choice. All of my friends are from my country, and they are saying that my husband is treating me badly. I have never liked men from my country. I think they are effeminate, androgynous looking and cowards. I have always liked manly men (who don't exist in my country). I have also been fond of dark skinned men. The men from my country are all pale as snow. Was I naïve in thinking that I had found my prince? I don't think life is fun anymore. I come home from work having to cook, clean and look after my daughter. My husband does not help out in the house. At first, I thought it was okay because I kinda understood his culture where women's place are in the kitchen, but now it is getting frustrating. When my husband wants sex, he expects me to give in to his wishes. When I say I am tired or I don't want sex, he calls me names and complains about women from my country. He often complains about the food I am making. I don't like spicy food, and I have grown up with potatoes and root vegetables. Sometimes I try to make food which is more appealing to him and his culture, but he always has something to complain about. He is a muslim, and I was raised an atheist/agnostic, and he wants to raise our daughter to be muslim. I always tell him that she has to choose herself, but he does not accept that. He says that he is the man in the house and the leader, so he has to decide how we should bring up our daughter. In the beginning, I found him charming, loving, unique and manly, but now I find him so domineering and vicious. I don't know what to do because when he is nice to me, he is the most loving man in the world. But most of the time, I just feel like a servant, and not an equal companion. Did I make a mistake by going for the rough, manly type? moreOpen Question: did I do a mistake in marrying a man from another culture?

Here's my essay! It has to be in business letter FORMAT but it's not a business letter, just simply about me! Is everything grammatically correct? (It's for English class) And what should I put for a closing? Thanks!: Dear Mrs. ***, My life was a lot easier when I didn’t have to be in charge of it. I cherished childhood as much as I possibly could because I knew that the sooner I grew up, the sooner I’d have to take more control! As a baby, I had a huge head of hair; an afro, I’d like to call it. I must say, I was a genius baby. I potty-trained myself, taught myself how to read, tied my shoes on my own and I put myself to bed at a reasonable time each night. My older cousin, who’s my sister’s age, used to call me Martha, like Martha Stewart, because I was so incredibly organized and self disciplined as I am now. Don’t get all caught up in my perfection, now. I had some flaws. My mom would always try to get me to say things, as any normal excited mom would. She’d say, “Mommy, Mike, Mickey, mine…” and other things beginning with ‘M’, all of which I could say perfectly fine. Then, she said my sister’s name, “Meaghan…” and my response would always be, “MMMBEAGHAN!” So, maybe I was a bit of a quirky baby, if that’s even possible. And if it is possible, that’s definitely carried on to now. My personality is something that’s pretty hard to describe, as it usually depends on the weather. On rainy days, I always want to stay inside in my pajamas and sleep. If it’s sunny, I typically want to be outside going places and doing things. Also, the slightest things can make me extremely mad, like when my room isn’t organized, and the smallest things, like glow sticks, can put me in the best mood ever. I absolutely love to hang out with my friends, because that’s where all the memories are made. I love to laugh, too, because it earns me some rock hard abs which seem to have mildly disappeared since my six year gymnastics career when I was younger. In my middle school life, I’ve been on Honor Roll, or High Honors, and Principals Citizenship every semester of every year. Last year, I was a proud member of NJHS and I was a yearbook editor with my best friend since kindergarten. As for the organization when I was young, I’m definitely still that way today. I always clean my room without being asked, and, man, should you see how organized my locker was last year. Now, I just hope this organization will help me in my future! I hope to maintain my grades at P********, while keeping organized so I can be as stress free as possible in my high school career. I’m extremely excited to meet more people than I have already who have the same interests as me and who I can count on for a lot of things. When I’m an adult, I really want to be a teacher or something else involving kids. When I babysit my neighbors, I absolutely love it. I love hearing their little stories about karate class, watching Phineas and Ferb with them, and painting their nails in whatever color they want. Also, I think I’m a good leader because I like being in charge and doing things the way I want to do them. I’m organized, so I’d have things very well planned out, and I have a soft spot for the adorable faces of toddlers with tons of energy. Finally, I’ve had plenty of role models to look up to. Cancer and Leo love compatibility Usually this is a good combination, since the Moon (Cancer) reflects the light of the Sun (Leo). The Leo has an ability to stabilize moody Cancer. Generous, openhearted, strong Leo is just what insecure Cancer is looking for and it creates a feeling of reliance for a changeable Cancer. On the other hand it is necessary to flatter and admire by the Leo's advantages and especially in the field of sex, where he/she should dominate. If the Cancer is ready to let the Leo be the leader in bedroom the passionate connection and rather successful marriage can take place. Also, Cancer and Libra love compatibility This pair operates on entirely different levels: Cancer wants love to be emotionally transcendent, Libra seeks perfect intellectual communion. It is difficult for the Libra to get on well with a Cancer's changeable temperament. The Cancer for his turn feels uncertainty and anxiety because of the Libra's attachment. The Libra is attracted by the Cancer's moods, but he/she prefers to avoid any troubles. Cancer will have to bring some excitement and glamour into the bedroom and their love making if he/she would capture and hold Libras attention, as he/she has a roving eye and will always be looking for greener pastures, sex being the important part of life to him/her that it is. But if Cancer turns critical, especially about Libra's extravagance, Libra will start looking elsewhere. The connection is possible. The marriage is almost unreal. moreOpen Question: Does Democracy Really Mesh With Today's Traditional Religions?
I mean personally i think that most Traditional Religions were built around someone who was supposedly appointed by God to teach people how to live & act. And that it is God not the people who appoints this person. And they reveal themselves to the people through their words & actions & are eventually followed. And God usually considers most people wicked so a system of leadership based on a majority vote would not be something that meshes with any Traditional idea of how God works. Does anybody else feel like the people who believe that Countries like the US were inspired by Traditional Religious ways of thinking are fooling themselves. I believe the US Government has much more in common with The Democracy of Athens 508 BC to 322 BC & The Republic of Rome 509 BC - 27 BC than it does any Biblical System of Government. I mean aren't guys like Socrates & Plato who were oponents of Democracy more in Line with Todays Traditional Religious Figures. And doesn't the mass of people who chose Barabas over Jesus & wanted Jesus crucified, show a better view of Democracy than the people who claim that there is no rift between a Democratic System of Government & the Way God is Portrayed in Todays Traditional Religions. Doesn't a Democracy mean the majority knows best? And it is best for the majority to lead or to choose a leader. When basicly all of Today's Traditional Religions when you really read say that the majority does not know best. And if you do agree, how is it that those who follow Traditional Religions & Read the Scriptures of these Religions don't seem to see the contradiction or paradox. I can understand the arguement that the World has moved away from Traditional Religion & this is what has resulted. That arguement makes sense. But the arguement that says that Democracy is built on Biblical Teachings or that wants to put a Traditional Religion behind one of our Current Systems of Government. I mean those just really don't seem to go together to me. And never have.Ollicopter: True. I never said the U.S. was a pure Democracy. But it still has more in common with The Athenian Democracy & The Roman Republic than it does with any System of Government that was supported by Today's Traditional Religions in my opinion.Ollicopter: Actually it's a Federal Republic. And has been more Federal ever since the End of the Civil War in my opinion. moreOpen Question: What would you advice President Noynoy after the forensic evidence are over?
In the recent news report he can celled his first Asian trip to Vietnam and another Asian country for unknown reason, obviously for budget cuts I suppose. Nagtitipid ang gobyerno which was emphasize since he assume office a few month ago. There was an agreement before that the Philippines is sending a 3 or 5 man delegation to the government of Hongkong to literally apologize for the recent hostage crisis fiasco. And now that Pres. Noy send a letter of apology to Donald Tsang Yam Kuen, Chief Executive of Hongkong and acknowledging the telephone conversation with Noynoy for his sincere apology. Do you think it is much better to take the first trip outside the Philippines to Hongkong to show solidarity of sincere apology to the people of Hongkong and presenting the forensic findings of the people of the Philippines personally to Mr. Donald Tsang Yam Suen than sending a 5 man delegation to Hongkong? Dapat nga hindi siya lalabas ng bansa dahil sa pagtitipid ng budget ng bansa dahil wala nga tayong kapera-pera as what he told in his inaugural speech. Pero dahil masyado syang pinuna ng isang lady legislative ng Hongkong for his inaction and ineptitude towards the hostage crisis siguro it is time to act this time in the right way to go personally to Hongkong. If you are the President would you go to Hongkong for this? For me I would to appease the two countries and bring more harmony towards one another. It obviously will not make much to the people of Hongkong but humbling one self is already a gesture of a true leader. What do you think? moreResolved Question: Help with English please?

We didn't come from apes, we are apes and extremely leathals ones too. Here is an axiom or paradigm for you: As cave men did we struggle to even contemplate our existence as we looked to the stars barely literate and utter the word Goh! Goh! which became GOD. Oh it must be GOD! Primitively evolved ego blames god and the devil and puts everything in little boxes in the mind in order to recognize and relate to them. This weakness exploited by others for purposes of social division, avarice greed and power over others as we beat our chests in satisfaction. The hunt was successful today! as a starting point for deducing and inferring other (theory dependent) truths. The key aspect of our humanity seems to be our morals and beliefs. The ability to change, adapt, and create the ability to carry out a coherent logical conclusion. This is one factor that allows us to change ourselves and adapt to a changing world. To construct and stabilize our morals we must begin with some principles held as axioms and logically derive from those axioms conclusions which become our morals. Our ability to radically change ourselves and our original axiomatic belief system accounts for the other half of our ability to change, adapt, and create. We have advanced so far in terms of knowledge, society, and technology. Yet there is still so much more to create and discover. What will propel us is ultimately our humanity. And we have seen that stability and change make us human. In this yin-yang sort of duality, these two aspects of our nature–the desire for tradition and stability and the excitement brought on by radical revolution–synergistically combine to form what we call humanity and human nature. We have discovered our secret weapon: two conflicting yet supporting principles that guide our ever-shifting path into the future. In terms of God I think it's very interesting that creationism, (a consequence of the evolving ego) has produced a mental mechanism that can often forgive us for what ever we do, and also creates a solution to what we can't explain. In my opinion we are a very counter productive and self destructive species which still struggles to break the mold of mindless facile and frivolous cultural perpetuation as a result of many given leader types or peerage consumed with avarice, falsely empowering ones self and self preservation. This behavior and moral standards learned and then perpetuated pervasively throughout any given culture. E.G. exploitation of the weak or primitively evolved ego, the sinister inciting of coups and the best products that can possibly benefit man kind are not brought to market because the don't make enough profit. Wealth is power and can influence government policy, the cultural foundations of which will typically be built upon the exploitation of others as one capitulates to avarice thoughts and feelings ultimately aspiring to self preserve and acquire power. These standards are set thus learned and perpetuated down through the hierarchical ranks of any given culture. Rotten peerage = rotten culture. No one asks to be born here and no one asks to leave. "Cogito, ergo sum" (Usually translated in English as: "I think, therefore I am" Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death." - Albert Einstein, "Religion and Science", New York Times Magazine, November 9, 1930 Man creates god in his own insane image. He needs someone to forgive him for the terrible treacherous deeds he he has to commit as he strive to succeed at the demise of the next man. moreOpen Question: Do you think this is unfair?
I go to a Catholic co-ed school in Australia and we're about three quarters through the school year here (in Australia our school years go from late January-early February till late November to mid December). I'm in year 11 and we're due soon to take over the school leadership roles. We have four school houses for sports days and each house needs at least two captains since we'll be in year 12 and leaders of the school. We also have the pillars faith and service (all about the religious side of things), academic, cultural and something else which I've forgotten about. Not a huge amount of people have signed up for this and pretty much no-one has signed up for team captains (mostly about 25-30 out of 65 have signed up for a pillar a role or school head boy and girl so to speak). My school's really into how they look to others and things like that, they're really superficial and shallow so having all these house leaders etc makes them look good. Anyway the school RE (religious education which we HAVE to take all the way through) called the whole year level up to the biology lab and showed us this ten minute corny video on leadership. He then went to saying how leading the school was our responsibility and how we should have the confidence to lead the college and blah blah blah. It's not about confidence it's about making an educated decision about whether it's in our best interests. He said that we don't have to and we won't be forced but then he walks back to the front and starts yelling at us about leading the school because we have to and it's our job and we have no choice in the matter. He then threatened to make us stand in front of the whole school and explain why we don't want to lead, they're acting like this is the apocalypse. I felt like asking if he wanted to stand in front of the school and explain how we thought using temper and threats in order to get what he wants is right. But I kept my mouth shut because it just would've been too difficult because of getting yelled at, sent out, time outs etc. I grabbed some sign up sheets to sign up for one of the roles only I'm not sure I want to anymore because I don't want to be working for that when I was basically forced I want do my best and I don't want to work with people who use anger and threats in order to get what they want. It's not something I want to condone or stand for. But the main reason I don't to do it because we take the roles officially next year in year 12. Australian education is run state based so each state has slightly different requirements to graduate since I don't know which state I want to go to university I may have to do an extra subject because some other states stipulate it. My school also makes us take RE for one semester and there's the research project so I may be doing 6 full year subjects when I should be doing 4 and a half. The workload is massive and I have family commitments and flute also my schooling, flute and family come first over any leadership role. I have four options for what to study and each have TER scores of 60 and 80.8 (TER means year 12 marks) so I need to buckle down next year. Do you think what they're doing is fair and should I take the role? moreOpen Question: christian relationship help?
So, I used to date a girl in college for about two years. It was pretty rocky. I was in a more mature spiritual place than her and tried to be a spiritual leader and she just wasn't into it. she was a christian but not very matured. she was very selfish and had guy issues. I wasnt perfect either. Anyway, its been over a year since we have dated and we continue to do this on and off thing. She now has become very spiritual, leads a bible study. Has just become a great women of god and isnt as selfish as she once was. I took the break up pretty bad and went off the deep end. Getting drunk and hooking up with girls was my life. I went with that path because I thought that would get me over my ex, I shoulda gone to god. Had a pretty rebellious stage for about 6 months. I have gotten my act together. Finally this last april my ex told me to move on and to forget about her. Thats when I started the rebellious stage. I tried moving on and we didnt contact each other at all. Finally at the end of may she starts calling me and texting me and telling me she misses me. She is a very attractive girl so got asked out quite a bit, and would go on dates. But she came back to me, but still didnt want to start dating again. For us to start dating again would mean that we would be talking and moving towards marriage. So we have been talking on and off, she still doesnt know wat she wants. So I was driving home, 15 hours, and in the middle she texts me and tells me she needs me and wanted me to come take care of her. So I went 6 hours out of my way to see her, suprised her. I had told her i wasnt gonna come. I was there for a week and we had a great great time. we still like eachohter, but she still isnt sure about her future with me. So i dont know what to do at this point. Im also moving to the other side of the world in about 1.5 weeks. We had a long discussion today about it. She just doesnt know what to do. I want to wait for her but I could be wasting me time. She isnt allowing me to lead and pursue her. Am i just suppose to wait for her to make some decision? I could be thinking about her for months and then she can email me and tell me she has met someone else, so I wasted all that time waiting for her. I will be in the other country for prob. 9 months and then we will prob be in the same city once i get back. So what do i do? Do i make her make a decision? be with me or let me go? and if she lets me go then this is the last time? or do we just stay in touch, date other people, and see wat happens?? i really need some advice from a few mature christians, serious answers please. were both 23 fyialso, i know i want to marry this girl i have told her i love her and she has never told me she loves me. I want her to figure out on her own if she wants me. but she keeps coming back to me!!! we were at a friends wedding, both went alone. we hung out and danced the entire night. four different people came up to her, without me around, and told her how much chemistry we had. i think thats super random, that has never happened before. but 4 people the same night? good sign or just coincidence?yes i have a relationship with jesus and am trying to grow, and am making him 1st in my life. i still have work to do moreResolved Question: Conservatives, What's the difference between "The Tea Party" and "Tea Party Patriots"?
First I was hearing from the Patriots and I thought that was the whole thing. They said they had no leader, only two founders. Several weeks after the first one of them, I got a letter from "The Tea Party" which has a founder and a president. Looks like they are two different groups now, but are they connected somehow? and this doesn't make sense to me. I mean if they are not connected, I hope they are not opposed either. This is too confusing. Maybe the liberals are trying some clever tricks to get money that doesn't belong to them. Thanks. moreResolved Question: Are the Dems Going to do Well in the November Elections? Why or Why Not?
Best case for Why --- The Republicans are 100% Braindead -- they don't have a single idea except low taxes or no taxes. Their main agenda item is to extend the Bush Tax cut so capital gains are taxed at only 15%. Doing this would be a $680 Billion gift to the top 1% of the population, and half that gift would go to the top 1/10th of 1%. So the billionaires would become multi-billionaires. That is the entire agenda of the GOP. If you think they have any other ideas, just name one. What idea do they have? Best case for Why Not -- Obama is plainly a failure as a President. He may have been good as a teacher, or as a community organizer, but as a President, he's worse than Jimmy Carter. Many people think he's a foreigner and a muslim, or at least on the side of those kind of people. The word Marxist has been attributed to him and it seems to fit -- and on Pelosi and on Reid. Obama has been a total failure on domestic policy, a very weak Commander in Chief, a poor leader of the USA in the world, an incompetent administrator and manager, and not so great as a truth teller. If the election can be made into a Referendum about Obama, then every single Democrat will lose and the GOP will get a blowout victory -- probably the House, possibly the Senate as well -- only need to pick up 10 seats. But these are just suggestions to get you started. What I want is your feelings. Foaming at the mouth... venting.... ranting.... are all OK by me, as long as you are 100% respectful toward me. Just give me the unprettied up version of your true thoughts. But no dirty words, no racial stuff, and no threats on political personages, OK. I've been reading questions and answers today and I've found something very interesting. So many of us, regardless of our party affiliation, truly feel the government is pitting us against each other, as they know if they can turn your common American into hate machines, where Republicans hate Democrats and visa versa, they benefit from it. Our government is using us, without most of us not even knowing it, for their own benefit. When the truth is we may differ in our ideas, which is what makes America, America, but as a whole we all want the same thing for our country. I used to think it will be all the hatred American citizens feel toward each other that will destroy this country, but after reading the things we've all said, which you all know is some of the most hateful rhetoric yet, it is the government instigating us. What if we stopped and refused to let the government do this? We are pushing each others buttons to get a reaction, with the questions we ask, which only makes us look ugly, when in truth it's the government that's ugly and making fools of us. All of us. Republicans know their party is dead wrong with the things they do and say and Democrats know their party is dead wrong with the things they do and say. So why do we keep defending them and hating each other? I don't think we hate each other, we all love our country. Our government wants us to hate each other. They know all too well, if we do and stay so divided they'll continue to have all the power and control over us. Is there anything we can do to stop our learned behavior taught to us by our leaders, very much on purpose. moreResolved Question: Does my book keep you on the edge of your seat so far?

The man pressed the gun to my shoulder; his bony fingers, poking through his leather gloves, motioned towards the trigger. Beads of sweat ran down my neck as I prayed this was only a nightmare and I would wake up in my bed sweating. This all started with a dream – rather, a nightmare. Or at least that's what I thought it was. Shy seventeen years of my life, I've gotten used to it by now. First, the mysterious figures seep through your room. You can't stop them, even though you've tried many times, because your paralyzed. You can't see because the blinding crystal light shines through your window, blowing up the lace curtains like Marilyn Monroe's infamous white dress. The tingle of electricity painfully shoots up your leg just before you black out, the only thing that can run is your mind. And when you awaken, the unforgettable experiments continue – except they're much worse than last time. Oh, and it get's better. These tests don't seem nearly as bad once you return home to find that no one believes your stories, and think you've pulled it out of a Science Fiction movie, or an xFiles episode. There have been many alike who are assassinated because the primitively evolved ego is still evolving and so is man. Unfortunately there is just as much good or benefit to evolve out of the same amount of quantifiable badness that occurs in life. This badness leaders inflict upon our selves for the greater good. So historically people who mean well who gain too much following and therefore power are assassinated for the greater good/advancement of man kind. Of course one of them has to be the greatest and martyred. The hunt was successful today! le Panacea/the cure all for all, Our Secret Weapon, axiomatic system from which we can produce logical coherent conclusion and paradigms, In traditional logic, an axiom or postulate is a proposition that is not proved or demonstrated but considered to be either self-evident, or subject to necessary decision. Therefore, its truth is taken for granted, and serves as a starting point for deducing and inferring other (theory dependent) truths. E.G. exploitation of the weak or primitively evolved ego, the sinister inciting coups and the best products that can possibly benefit man kind are not brought to market because the don't make enough profit. No one asks to be born here and no one asks to leave. moreResolved Question: How does Obama's "SURRENDER" to the Islamic Terrorist in Iraq yesterday, make you feel?
Thank you. moreResolved Question: Are these Zodiac Flower Power Signs true?

National Honor Society I always thought that it would be easy to win one of those contest you hear in the radio or on television because, my mentality was that everyone did not bother to sign up thinking they would never get picked. Being the young minded boy I was that never brought my hopes down only made me want to enter more, I would cut out coupons and mail them in for the cool prizes, even if they never came in a felt accomplished knowing I did my best. Now as a more mature grown up man I still carry that mentality with me. Seeing my name among a long list of other valiant students, I can only think to myself how honored I am to be given a chance to be accepted into the Nation Honor Society. Growing up I was told succeeding in school can get you anywhere you wanted to go in life. Now after succeeding in school all these years and looking at colleges I hope to get into, you need more than an A+ to get in. To me that’s just another obstacle in my way of continuing my studies. I have always loved obstacles because it puts your heart and motivation to the test. I do not fail at overcoming obstacles easily but, when I do I get back up and go back it again. This time with the knowledge I have gained from past experience. I always keep an open mind to new knowledge of any sort. Everyone has the ability to be a leader but what happens when a group of leaders are put to work together, who will be the one to lead? I would be the first to speak and say that I have the ability take charge and move us forward in our project until we reach our goal. An even greater ability then taking charge is being able to contribute and be part of the group instead of leading it which means have faith in someone else’s ability to lead. Outgoing is what I am known for, being able to wow the people around me with my positive attitude and my great personality. Being well rounded in everything from my confidence of succeeding on my own to interacting with other people has helped me get where I am today. I am grateful for what I have and knowing that there are people that are less fortunate has lead me to contribute and make a difference in my community. moreWelcome to What Makes A Leader News
