Open Question: Where is the media outcry?

Recently in February A pro-family leader wonders where the outrage is in the wake of the cold-blooded murder of two Christians who were street-witnessing in Florida. Tite Sufra, 24, and 23-year-old Stephen Ocean were recently shot to death by a man they had witnessed to in Boynton Beach. If these two men had been Muslims street-witnessing, or two homosexuals out walking and they had been gunned down, the media outcry would have been heard halfway across the world. Is it a sign of the times, when Christians are killed in America for sharing their faith, society just looks the other way? Where is the media outcry, where is the public outcry? Is it now acceptable for Christians to be killed for their faith in America?@ Existentialist Absurd Hero Ocean was arrested on robbery charges and in 2004 for violating probation on previous battery and petit theft convictions. He was also arrested in 2006 for carrying a concealed firearm and resisting an officer. What an intentionally misleading statement, These crimes were carried out before he became a Christian and well you know. After he became a Christian he left his criminal activities behind and went back on the streets to allow Christ to change the lives of others, just as his had been. For you to imply this was just another street killing is to knowingly and cynically twist the truth of a man whose life had been changed by Christ.@ MtoR signing up is easy If I speak out against murder, I am being mean to others? How sad it is for attitudes such as that to be stated. Freedom of speech reveals a lot, not all of it healthy.. more

Open Question: Why do some conservatives think that congressmen, senators and other elected officials will be exempt?

President Obama has said that the Health Care Plan is meant for ALL Americans. We will receive treatment equally and there will be no bias or favoritism. It doesn't matter if you are a homeless person on the street or a billionaire congressman -- you will both pay the same fee to use the health care, have the same priority when scheduling an appointment, have the same doctors see and treat you, etc. It is all about EQUALITY! These neo-cons that are spouting senators, congressmen and other elected officials will be privy to some elite treatment resources or health care plan are just spouting nonsense from Fox News (like usual). If health care is good enough for our leaders, it is good enough for us! That is the true sign of a quality plan. Let us all come together and embrace hope. Embrace change. Embrace President Obama! Free, high quality health care for every human being in America! more

Open Question: Where in the Constitution does it show that Congress has a Constitutional obligation to legislate?

Health Care? The Commerce Clause does not give Congress the Right to order (mandate, dictate) every American to have health insurance...Nor does anything else found within the Constitution give Congress this power... What happened to freedom of choice in America, since the Democratic/Progressive/Liberal Led Congress take over in 2006 choices are disappearing one by one... It would appear from all things being done at current times the Constitution is being disregarded, and a new form of Government is being formed: Totalitarianism Definition of Totalitarianism - a form of government that subordinates all aspects of its citizens' lives to the authority of the state (the state being the Federal Democratic/Progressive/Liberal Led Government), with a single charismatic leader (Obama) as the ultimate authority. Prove me wrong...The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States; Necessary and Proper Clause – The "necessary and proper" clause is the other clause the central government uses to grant themselves power. This clause is found in the last paragraph: key word here is: themselves!!!!!!!!! not the People...or the States (last paragraph) To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers, and all other Powers vested by this Constitution in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof. It still does not give Congress the Authority over Individual Choice....Congress since 1950 til present has created the debt; Not Paid the debt.... more

Open Question: Did you know that the Tea Parties got hacked by Neo-Cons? Yes, todays GoP republicans.Thoughts?

If you don't know what a neo-con is it stands for 'neoconservatism' which is todays GOP Republicans. Here's a link ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neoconservatism). The original tea parties started back in 2006-2008 where rallies were held through out the country. Real "tea partiers" are liberty loving Americans, that promote anti-war, non interventionist views, they support protecting civil liberties and support the constitution of the united states of America. these idea's may seem radical to some of you so called "tea partiers" but in fact those exact views i just listed are the platform of the real Republican party. And some how the leader of the tea party movement (which there shouldn't even be one, because it is supposed to be grassroots) some how became Sarah Palin opposed to the man who inspired the idea. That man being Ron Paul. I hope this help to clarify some things. Resolved Question: Is Ben Stein's article about Obama right of wrong?

By Ben Stein Why is President Barack Obama in such a hurry to get his socialized medicine bill passed? Because he and his cunning circle realize some basic truths: The American people in their unimaginable kindness and trust voted for a pig in a poke in 2008. They wanted so much to believe Barack Obama was somehow better and different from other ultra-leftists that they simply took him on faith. They ignored his anti-white writings in his books. They ignored his quiet acceptance of hysterical anti-American diatribes by his minister, Jeremiah Wright. They ignored his refusal to explain years at a time of his life as a student. They ignored his ultra-left record as a “community organizer,” Illinois state legislator, and Senator. The American people ignored his total zero of an academic record as a student and teacher, his complete lack of scholarship when he was being touted as a scholar. Now, the American people are starting to wake up to the truth. Barack Obama is a super likeable super leftist, not a fan of this country, way, way too cozy with the terrorist leaders in the Middle East , way beyond naïveté, all the way into active destruction of our interests and our allies and our future. The American people have already awakened to the truth that the stimulus bill — a great idea in theory — was really an immense bribe to Democrat interest groups, and in no way an effort to help all Americans. Now, Americans are waking up to the truth that ObamaCare basically means that every time you are sick or injured, you will have a clerk from the Department of Motor Vehicles telling your doctor what he can and cannot do. The American people already know that Mr. Obama’s plan to lower health costs while expanding coverage and bureaucracy is a myth, a promise of something that never was and never will be — a bureaucracy lowering costs in a free society. Either the costs go up or the free society goes away. These are perilous times. Mrs. Hillary Clinton, our Secretary of State, has given Iran the go-ahead to have nuclear weapons, an unqualified betrayal of the nation. Now, we face a devastating loss of freedom at home in health care. Mr. Obama knows Americans are getting wise and will stop him if he delays at all in taking away our freedoms. There is his urgency and our opportunity. Once freedom is lost, America is lost. Wake up, beloved America . It is amazing to me, that any of the people still believe in him. He has done so much damage to this country and people are still ignorant enough to believe him. He is an embarrassment to the American people. They may have already ruined my country and yours. She will never be the same for our grandchildren. By the way, your freedoms are already being taken away. Obama has written to remove your constitutional rights in rewriting the constitution. Yes, it is being done and your freedom will never be the same! It’s time to wake up America! more

Open Question: What's the new price for Democrat leaders to sell out on America?

Kucinich D-Ohio who said "This is not the bill I wanted to support even as I continued efforts into the last minute to try and modify the bill," Got a ride to Ohio on Air Force One with Obama and announced that he would vote for ObamaCare. Saying, "However, after careful discussions with President Obama, Speaker Pelosi, my wife Elizabeth and close friends, I've decided to cast a vote in favor of the legislation." Kucinich is taking America for a ride and did not seem to consider what Americans want even though he voted against the House bill in November and has opposed the Senate bill because it doesn't include a government-run insurance plan. Did Kucinich get the ride of his life and the same promise Obama gave to Grijalva D-AZ who stated "I was glad to hear..." Obama is "...personally committed to pursue a public option after passage of the current bill." If this doesn't make you sick It should! more

Open Question: How competitive am I, in terms of receiving an NROTC or AFROTC scholarship?

I am a junior in High School and will be applying this summer. Academics: - I have a 3.6 gpa (with a fair amount IB and AP classes) - For my senior year I will be taking nearly all IB and AP classes - I am average in math - Science is one of my strong points and I take lots of advanced science courses - For my senior year I will be enrolled in my school's highest and most advanced Biology and Spanish classes. Sports and EC activities: - I don't play any JV or V sports for my high school (I'm joining the ski team next year), however... I am on the A team (varsity) of our Ultimate Frisbee Club team, which involves daily practices, with conditioning, and weekly games as well as large tournaments (we placed 3rd in the state last season). Also, unless something drastic happens, next year I will be one of the senior most captains (there are 5 on a 35 person team). - I also am a captain on my school's Badminton Club team, it's our inaugural year and at the moment we have a winning record and will be competing in a state tournament in May. I also ski (nearly every weekend) and play hockey recreationally as well as bike and backpack. As far as clubs go: I am president and founder of Badminton Club which is one of the biggest student organizations in the school (we average 25-30 members). I am also an active member of FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America). I organize bake sales and various other fund raising events. ... and last but not least I am also a experienced Knight Crew Leader. Which is similar to a orientation leader except we have duties year round. In the Future: My choices for universities would be: 1) University of Washington 2) University of Minnesota 3) University of Colorado 4) University of Idaho I would want to major in any of these: 1) Oceanography 2) Biology 3) Anthropology ACT: I haven't taken it yet (less than a month tell I do) but after taking many practice tests I am expecting anything between a 27-30. I know there are some major holes in my resume so be as brutal as you like, I just would like to know your best estimation of my chances. Some feedback would be nice :) Human Empire - Leader’s Title - Emperor Homeworld - Earth. Galaxy of Origin - Milky Way. Alliances - None. Goals - Universal Humanisation. Economic Power - Extraordinary. Manpower (Military) - 900,000,000 - 1,000,000,000. Jacobian Alliance - Leader’s Title - Emperor . Homeworld - Jaco IV. Galaxy of Origin - Milky Way. Alliances - (Is An Alliance) Goals - Undecided. Economic Power - Moderate. Manpower (Military) - Approx - 800,000,000. Human Empire Background - The Human Empire started to muster strength around 2100AD. It was founded during British territorial advance. Britain and America decided to merge into a single country, so that the people of both countries could work together in closer partnership to exploit major space travel. Jacob Jones Jr was tasked with taking the first space cruiser into space with a crew of 2000, but never returned, instead he made friends with the aliens and created the Jacobian Alliance with his crewmembers. The Humans where outraged by this and thus, set about to create a new space cruiser, this time with military gadgets attached. One by one the other nations of the world joined the Empire and thus, actually crowning it the Human Empire. Many years passed, and still the space cruiser didn’t seem “destructive enough“, quoted the new Emperor. The Emperor also requested that 500 smaller cruisers be created so that no alien would stand in their way. Finally, 200 years after it had been requested, the entire fleet was ready for war, including the massive dreadnought cruiser. The Human Emperor, who had been blessed with eternal youth by a mysterious space entity, ordered that the aliens, all of whom threatened the well being of humankind, be purged from the universe. And so the Imperial army, soldiers who resembled honourable knights in their white plated armour, set about to bring an end to all the impure who inhabited the universe, in the name of the God Emperor. more

Open Question: Has anyone seen this headline?

Ore. lawsuit claims Boy Scouts sex abuse coverup "The Boy Scouts of America has long kept an extensive archive of secret documents that chronicle the sexual abuse of young boys by Scout leaders over the years. The "perversion files," a nickname the Boy Scouts are said to have used for the documents, have rarely been seen by the public, but that could all change in the coming weeks in an Oregon courtroom. Clark is seeking $14 million in damages on behalf of a 37-year-old man who was sexually molested in the early 1980s in Portland by an assistant Scoutmaster, Timur Dykes. Dykes was convicted three times between 1983 and 1994 of sexually abusing boys, most of them Scouts. Although there have been dozens of lawsuits against the organization over sex abuse allegations, judges for the most part have either denied requests for the files or the lawsuits have been settled before they went to trial" So does this mean all Boy Scount leaders are molestors and the entire organization is corrupt? Just wondered, because that is certainly the standard applied to the Catholic church. more

Open Question: Why is this in the Health Care bill?

They call it finance reform Sounds good doesn't it ? But here's what it is. The bill would revamp the nation's student loan system to make the government the only lender, one bank — the state-owned Bank of North Dakota — would be allowed to continue making student loans. One Bank? And is run by the Government? Say good buy to student loans! This is clearly another Government take over scam by the Democrat's in Congress! Tell me what this has to do with Health Care! And this is just one of many scams they loaded in the so called Health care bill .Which is why they had to draft it behind closed doors and also explains why it's thousands of pages long. The Democrat leaders try to sell it as Health care for the poor but has little to do with actual Health care . They posted 150 pages of the bill on line that covers Health care. Thinking America will fall for it . It goes with out saying why they don't post the whole bill. The people responsible for trying to shove this bill threw should not only be removed from office they should be charged with fraud. Starting with Obama, Nancy P. and Harry Reid more

Resolved Question: Do you think a democratic government is the best government.?

Yes it is very difficult to say that a democratic government is the best government ever.If you look into the political situations of some countries like China,India and many other developing countries you will find that democracy is not giving results there. In a democratic country everyone has the right to choose their leaders. This is how nice to hear but you know most of them gives vote to the people belonging to their own casts, religion and countries like the white and black peoples in America.some of them only notices the colour of their leaders weather they are white or back.In sime countries criminals become leader by terrifying people and threatning them to get their vote. They often spend huge amaount of money to win elections.some people promises the people to support them and to remove poverty as well as unemployment from their country but after winning the elections they forget their promises and run the government in their own way. They didnt care about the peoples problem and ruin their emotions.so do you think that democracy is helping them? i dont know about but i dont think so.please send me your openionfor these democratis countries........ more

Open Question: Agree or Disagree: Micheal Jackson played just as much of a role in the Civil Rights movement as MLK & MX?

I've been thinking about how MJ--whom i jokingly consider 1 of the 3 Civil Rights Giants (Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, & Micheal Jackson)-- came onto the scene during the 1960's, and how he impacted the world at the height of his illustrious career People think i'm joking when i say MJ helped improve race relations, until they actually consider the impact his songs, dances, & messages had on people not just in the U.S., but around the world. BEFORE MICHEAL JACKSON ______________________________ + Black music (music made by Blacks) is played on separate radio stations + Black & White artists almost never collaborate on projects + The majority of Whites listen to music created by Whites + Blacks are considered pretty much useless by White Americans & non-Blacks outside America AFTER MICHEAL JACKSON __________________________ + A Black man (MJ) is inducted into the Guiness Book of world records as the most successful entertainer in human history + Black music starts becoming more & more popular outside the Black community (Pop, Hip Hop, etc) + People from all over the world--Whites, Blacks, Asians, etc--dance in MJ videos + Many White youth begein immitating MJ's dances & style +Many non-Black youth grow up listening to MJ, he becomes one of their most memorable entertainers of their child hood Go to almost any country in the world, and do the moonwalk & people will immediately think of Micheal. I guarantee you if Micheal Jackson had never existed, Obama would never have gotten elected R.I.P MJ--The King of Pop , Genius of Dance, & Leader in Race Relations http://music.com/video/michael-jackson/black-or-white/13406385 more

Open Question: Wouldn't certain questions be okay if every other user wasn't a troll?

Like, i just saw a question about why many African nations rank low on IQ charts. Now, as an African myself, i have absolutely no problem with this question, because it's a genuine question and the user , atleast i hope, isn't asking it to be an @$$hole, but because he wants to increase his knowledge. I know enough about IQ testing to say that they are not good measures of overall intellect, just specific skills related to hard academics. Einstein, the Jewish mathematician, had a high IQ. However, his talents lay mostly in mathematics, he sucked at learning languages (even his own german) & he had difficulty interacting with people. Einstein, despite his high IQ, would not have made a very good lawyer or comedian. The 2 biggest problems with IQ testing are: 1) They have the arrogance to claim that some types of intellect are more important than others. The TYPE of intelligence is takes to be a mathematician, a Biologist, or a Lawyer, according to IQ tests, are more important than the type it takes be a community leader (interpersonal intellect), a skillful warrior (kinesthetic intellect), or even a emotionally stable & self - disciplined person (intrapersonal intellect) 2) IQ tests also don't take into account many factors that might lower a person's IQ. For example, do you know that Depression (a clinical term for long states of sadness) can actually lower your IQ by upsetting the chemicals in your brain. The food you eat as a child, can also have lasting effects on how your brain grows, and IQ tests have trouble accounting for all the nuances in every culture that i tested None of these factors have to do with race, but class, culture, & opportunity _________________________________ Now, would someone with a 70 IQ be able to make the arguments i have just made? Africans living outside Africa (Nigerians, Ghanaians, etc) graduate from University at a rate that surpasses even Asians & Jews. They are the highest educated groups in both the UK & U.S. " African immigrants to the United States were found more likely to be college educated than any other immigrant group, which included those from Europe, North America and Asia (also see U.S. Bureau of the Census, 2000). African immigrants have also been shown to be more highly educated than any native-born ethnic group including white and Asian Americans (see also, Logan & Deane, 2003; Williams, 2005; The Economist, " http://bluecafe669.blogtownhall.com/default.aspx more

Resolved Question: 60th refugee boat arrived yesterday ,what is the answer , and interesting facts are?

Yesterday in the 60th refugee boat arrived in Australian waters, that is five boats per month for the last 12 months -- over 3000 generally male Muslim refugees. And it didn't even make the Channel 9 News. Who are these refugees, these are the ones with enough criminal background or sufficient money to get themselves onto a refugee boat? Ask yourself, will they ever assimilate as Australians as we know Australians? Will they want more mosques? Will they want their children educated in Muslim only schools? Will they require taxpayer funded medical care, accommodation, language courses, rental assistance and any other government/taxpayer handout? Do you know the background of all the 911 terrorists? They were all illegal refugees who entered America under their refugee acceptance program. Do you know the background of the leader of the Australian terrorist group found guilty of plotting to blow up a major Australian event such as the Melbourne grand finals killing tens of thousands of people? He arrived in Australia in May 1989 on a one-month visitor's permit, on which he twice gained extensions, and settled in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, an area with a large Muslim population. After the expiry of his permit in 1990 he became a prohibited non-citizen, then spent the next six years fighting through the Immigration Review Tribunal appeals process, for the right to stay. During his hearings he told the Tribunal of his "love of the Australian lifestyle". In 1992 Benbrika married a Lebanese woman who was an Australian citizen, with whom he had six children. Voting Question: Isn't liberalism a predictable consequence of corrupt conservatism?

A genuine Conservative is supposed uphold the value of the free market, and yet few have anything to say about the governments involvement with corporate powers that have nothing to do with the consumer voting confidence of the people. Few speak of political greed and none about empathy. This directly affects the social order perpetuating apathy and mistrust. Many young people turn to liberalism because (and though most liberal leaders are just as greedy) they are being forced into identifying and associating capitalism with human greed due to conservative hostility, fear and con-art of words that seem to destroy their meaning almost on purpose. If the people in power really wanted what is best for this nation, they would work towards the kind of bipartisanship that doesn't assume human beings as units or members of groups and actively demonstrates individual liberty and the idea that conservatism and progressivism are both equal political imperatives and that joining any group that blindly promotes one over the other without a well defined issue to which a conservative or progressive decision is to be made is to miss the point entirely. I'd also like to know what the benefits of poverty are.. What good could come of it? Im no socialist but wouldn't it be grand if we as Americans grew up and realized our innate power and ability to cure and emancipate the people of conflict or war? That we have within us the potential to rehuminize by setting a new standard of living to which all humans are entitled. No man, woman or child deserves funding simply for having a lack of it. However when you realize money is nothing but units on a computer screen and that there are people dying and leading terrible lives all because of a lack of units on a computer screen it kind of changes the whole idea of what otto be done. Capitalism is in no way, shape or form obligated to praise gluttony or the putting of materialism and social status before humanity. If only we realized how little we would have to give up just so people can eat, have a comfortable home and have THE MEANS of supporting and educating themselves. Once all people in this freedom loving nation called The United States of America are given these basic necessities, we would see a drastic decrease in violence, crime, social apathy, greed, etc and a major surge in education, understanding, cooperation, compassion, determination and excellence. We can change how our neighbors around the world look at us (from the middle east all the way to china) just by making an effort to carpet bomb starved countries with the ridiculous (AND I DO MEAN RIDICULOUS) amount of food we waste rather bombing countries we feel home "terrorists" which are only "terrorists" because we disrespect and undermine them by setting up bases on land that doesn't belong to us. Resolved Question: Who will be America's Hitler in foreign countries' textbooks?

American textbooks suggest that Hitler's reign is one of the most terrifying in history, but the Germans did not think of it this way back then. Countries do not often write negatively about their leaders in their own textbooks. So in about fifty years from now, when other countries are viewing us from the outside, who will be our Hitler? more

Resolved Question: How did our founding fathers incorporate religion with politics so well?

Religion and politics nowadays do not seem to mix well in America. However, back in the 18th century, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, George Washington, and such were holding up our country boldly with the help of religion. People have forgotten that we are founded upon Christian fathers. Was it easier when all of our nation's leaders believed in one religion? Maybe Christianity has become misinterpreted and convoluted by people misusing it to support their own personal agendas? Maybe the great diversity of religion nowadays is killing us slowly? Voting Question: Texas - rewriting history with a christian pen.?

Your views on this? - Thomas Jefferson no longer included among writers influencing the nation’s intellectual origins. Jefferson, a deist who helped pioneer the legal theory of the separation of church and state, is not a model founder in the board’s judgment. Among the intellectual forerunners to be highlighted in Jefferson’s place: medieval Catholic philosopher St. Thomas Aquinas, Puritan theologian John Calvin and conservative British law scholar William Blackstone. Heavy emphasis is also to be placed on the founding fathers having been guided by strict Christian beliefs. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ynews/ynews_ts1253 In a matter of days last week in Austin, the majority of the 15-member board, insisting they were only trying to offset liberal bias in textbooks, questioned Darwin's theory of evolution and the constitutional principle of separation of church and state; debated hip-hop and genocide in Darfur; deleted Albert Einstein and Thomas Alva Edison from textbooks; emphasized Christian teachings and fundamentalist values; adopted conservative articles of faith like American exceptionalism; promoted right-wing leaders and organizations like Phyllis Schlafly and the National Rifle Association; and refused to give adequate attention to Hispanic and African American contributions to U.S. and Texas history. http://www.politicsdaily.com/2010/03/14/history-revised-teachers-sacked-the-book-wars-in-texas-and-bey/ Anyone living in America, is this even legal? Resolved Question: Why is America the last country in the Western world to still use capital punishment ?

Everywhere in Europe it has been abolish, in France it was abolish in 1981 and made unconstitutional in 2007. In Canada it has been abolish, and in many other places to. So why does America, who pretends to be the leader of the free world maintains this barbaric form of justice ? And what to you think of the methods of execution that are used ? All of them have flaws. So if America really wants to continue to execute it's citizens, why it doesn't change the way the punishment is administered ? In a more humane way, like using pure Heroin for lethal injection (the inmate will just relax, relax and die with a smile, and most would even be willing to inject the stuff themselves)... Or why not use Hypoxia ? The inmate would get euphoric and die without even knowing it. So why continue with these barbaric methods ? Might has well be barbaric, might has well use the French guillotine, it's quick, painless and bloody has hell, humane and barbaric... Anyways, I'm asking these questions, because us Europeans don't understand that the USA that is a model for us all still uses something from the past.@ME 2 actually I come from a country where we beheaded you royal family along with the nobility :-) And to those who cite the bible, yes the bible says and eye for an eye, but it also says "you shall not kill". And by the way, the bible and religion has nothing to do with laws, it would be dangerous if it did.@jammersavage123 Last time I looked Pakistan wasn't part of the western world. more

Resolved Question: Philosophical Questions! Can you write your OWN Answers?

The question(s) I'm about to ask you have their own individual answers. Some may think otherwise. I honestly ask you to open your mind and think about these questions deeply before you give me the answer you think fits the question. My goal with asking this is to spark curiosity, and question in your minds. The First Question is about human kind and War: I have come to realize that this world is quite cruel. War, Pestilence, and Sin make up this world... Ever since Man has discovered the "Killing" power of stick & stone the bloodshed is YET to cease... We've fought over everything... From Oil, to Religion, to even Power. Why does it seem like all the leaders we seem to inherit are inextricably bound to war and it's repercussions? I am starting to believe that God gave us the ability to kill as a test for morals. And Obviously it was also some sort of "fail-safe" mechanism. If we are to fail to display good morals it would be safe for God to start anew because eventually we WILL kill our own species out. More than Likely by war; the greedy way America works and our ability to take ANYTHING by force will lead to our ultimate demise. We will want something from another superpower which will possibly recreate the "Cuabn Missile Crisis" with a NOT SO HAPPY ending... Is it natural for the homo-sapien to quench their thirst for retribution with war? MY answer is: Yes; what is your input? more

Voting Question: Why was AIPAC (America's Pro Israel Lobby) spying on America?

In August of 2004, the U.S. Justice Department announced an investigation of a “high Pentagon official, suspected of spying for Israel.” The FBI further said they were “investigating this spy apparatus” for several years. The investigation centered around two AIPAC leaders, Rosen and Weissman. Rosen and Weissman were ultimately indicted. On Aug. 29, 2005, the Israeli embassy “hotly denied any involvement” with the spies. On that same day, the “top Pentagon official” was publicly named: Larry Franklin. Franklin was named “a spy suspect.” This Franklin had a job to do, folks. Franklin’s job was to work closely with Michael Ledeen (a leading neocon) and Douglas Feith. These two guys were not pencil pushers at the Pentagon. Douglas Feith was then the undersecretary of Defense in the Pentagon. Ledeen was an “expert” on “terrorism.” According to the FBI, Franklin was working with Ledeen and Feith to “fabricate” the case for war with Iraq. Bingo! Start using your own mind in distilling this fabrication. It was invented to help Israel and force Uncle Sam to disarm “dangerous” Iraq. You might also engage your brain and deductive powers a little further with the following information of fact; Larry Franklin, was the senior analyst on Iran. Yes, Iran. Now, think back to the words of Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry. When asked about the war in Iraq he said: “Iraq is not our problem any more, our problem is Iran.” Am I implying that Kerry would have been favorable to an attack on Iran? Does a bear defecate in the woods? Does a bear sleep in the wilderness? Does a bear love honey? Does he make little teddy bears? Of course he does! I believe Kerry, if elected, would have had America invade Iran. (I could be wrong, but I doubt it.) Back to the Israeli spy network within the Pentagon. Two senior staffers of Under-Secretary Feith’s Office of Special Plans, (OSP), William Luti and Harold Rhode, were now included. This OSP was the entity responsible for “feeding bogus intelligence to U.S. Officials which led to the U.S. attack on Iraq.” Think about it. Was this for Israel’s benefit? Certainly it was not for America’s. The FBI stated: “This investigation involves wiretaps, undercover surveillance and photography that documents the passing of classified information from Franklin to Rosen and Weissman of AIPAC, and on to the Israeli Government.” Hear me. Listen carefully. Top Pentagon officials, all American citizens, pushing the U.S.A. into another needless and illegal war. All predicated on spies and falsehoods. Shame. Shame. Shame! What makes matters even worse is that this case had the additional goal of pushing America into a “military confrontation with Iran.” (Issues # 1, 2, 3 & 4 January, 2010, AMERICAN FREE PRESS) ***THIS QUESTION IS NOT IN VIOLATION OF THE TERMS OF USE*** more

Resolved Question: Israel rejects settlement halt? Why Are They So Arrogant?

Israel rejects settlement halt? Why Are They So Arrogant? http://english.aljazeera.net/news/middleeast/2010/03/2010315141930795117.html Binyamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, has rejected calls from the US to halt settlement plans in occupied East Jerusalem, saying plans for building new homes would go ahead. In a speech to Israel's parliament on Monday, Netanyahu said construction "will continue in Jerusalem as this has been the case for the past 42 years" in reference to the 1967 occupation of the mainly Arab territory. He said that the plans would not hurt Palestinians, who have said peace negotiations cannot go ahead until the project is cancelled. His comments come after Hillary Clinton, the US secretary of state, condemned the plans as "insulting" to peace efforts and reportedly called on Netanyahu to reverse the decision. Israel's announcement to build 1,600 new homes in East Jerusalem came during a visit to the region by Joe Biden, the US vice-president, sparking a diplomatic row between the two countries. Israeli newspaper Haaretz said Clinton, in a phone call with Netanyahu on Friday, asked him to make a "substantial gesture" towards Palestinians to help restart peace talks. She called for an official declaration that talks would deal with core issues, including borders, the status of Jerusalem, refugees, and settlements, the paper reported. Response requested Clinton was also said to have requested an official response on whether Tuesday's announcement was a "bureaucratic mistake, or a deliberate act, carried out for political reasons". in depth Videos: Biden peace push frustrated Biden explains Israel rebuke Biden still believes in two-state solution Focus: Biden: America's Middle East fixer? Q&A: Settlements Netanyahu has apologised for what he called the bad timing and ordered an investigation into how government officials unveiled the plans during Biden's visit. The announcement embarrassed Biden, who was visiting Israel in a bid to revive Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations. Amid the dispute, officials said on Monday that George Mitchell, the US envoy to the Middle East, had delayed a planned visit to the region, during which he had been scheduled to meet Israel and Palestinian leaders separately. Michael Oren, Israel's ambassador to Washington, said the spat had brought relations to a 35-year low and had created a "crisis of historic proportions". A major pro-Israel US lobbying group also said that the stern US remarks were "of serious concern." "Aipac calls on the administration to take immediate steps to defuse the tension with the Jewish state," the American Israel Public Affairs Committee said on Sunday. Al Jazeera's Patty Culhane, reporting from Washington, said there are steps the US could take to pressure Israel over the settlement issue. "There's a lot of financial aid that the US gives Israel," she said. "One programme that the US has used in the past is reducing loan guarantees. The amount that the settlements cost Israel, that is the amount by which the US can reduce the loan guarantees to Israel. "We've seen that in the 1990s and then again in 2003." Catherine Ashton, the EU foreign policy chief, who is currently on her first official visit to the region, has joined the chorus of criticism of Israel's settlement plans. Indirect talks Speaking in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on Monday, Ashton said that the Israeli decision "endangers" indirect talks between the country and the Palestinians. "Recent Israeli decisions to build new housing units in East Jerusalem have endangered and undermined the tentative agreement to begin proximity talks," she said. "The EU position on settlements is clear. Settlements are illegal, constitute an obstacle to peace and threaten to make a two state-solution impossible." Besides Ashton, Luiz Ignacio "Lula" da Silva, the Brazilian president, is also touring the region. He met Shimon Peres, his Israeli counterpart, on Monday, marking the start of a three-day visit. Media reports suggest Lula is aiming to carve out a role for Brazil in mediating the peace process. more
