Open Question: I'M REALLLLLY CONCERNED...?!?
i am going to explain great detail my symptoms and other info i feel is important to include, so if you think you can help, PLEASE take the time to read it all! i just got back from the doctor & she said she thought it was either heart burn, inflammation of the esophagis (bc i used to drink ALOT of alcohol but have been sober for 18 days) or maybe something with the lungs. they said my blood pressure was high and my heart beat was very rapid but they gave me an EKG and said it was normal. i'm waiting for chest x ray results. she prescribed zantac. ive been experiencing pain on the left side of my chest for about a week and a half now, right where im assuming my heart is. it's a couple inches up on my left breast. the pain varies. it started with a itchy sensation that went up onto my neck/throat. all on the left side: sometimes i get a stabbing pain , or it feels like a dull ache, or a pinching feelings, sometimes it burns and i get a weird cold sensation, almost like my heart is bleeding, it's usually a feelingi can only describe as a stinging feeling in my heart. ive recently began getting a very sharp pain on my breasta few inches down from my armpit and my left arm is starting to get a suttle prickly feeling all the way down to my hand. i'm fatigued very easily by any time of movement, even talking. it gets worse when i'm laying on my side. i have a high fever now and my breathing is shallow. sometimes the right side of my chest gets a stabbing pain but RARELY. my mom thinks it's anxiety, but something tells me its serious. i take 40 mg limictal, 40 mg of prozac, and take more adderall a day than im prescribed to, which is 50 mg. sometimes i take twice that amounta and i think all of this has something to do with that.. but i just wanna be sure cuz i have an extremely high tolerance to adderall and thats the only amount that i can feel. i didn't tell the doctor that part. my family doesn't believe me. i've asked my mom to take me to the e.r, she said no, and even hesitated to make a DOCTOR'S app. my sister's think im being a hypochondriac and to them it probably seems like that but i know my body and i know something is not right. OH btw i smoke a pack of cigarettes a day, have a history of getting fevers, have an anxiety/depression disorder, and am almost 17 years old. i'm female. & i cant tell the doctors how much adderall i take because im in a juvenile drug court program and i will be in ALOT of trouble if they find out. if i find out that thats whats causing all this tho, i WILL stop immediately. it's not worth my lifee. moreVoting Question: Why am I such an addict?
I chain smoke, I compulsively shop, sometimes I drink compulsively, I even eat compulsively. I've been to a doctor, therapy (been in it for years), on medication, 12 step programs, religious programs, non-religious programs, self help groups, to a psychiatrist, and I've read countless self help books. Yet I still do this stuff. I've been trying to stop for years and I'm sick of failing. I make plans, promises, dedications, and I just can't stop. I have no idea what to do. Any suggestions? I know how unhealthy this is, how it's damaged my life, and I have no idea what to do about it anymore. I'm so sick of trying and not having any change. It's sucking my energy. Everyday I try to not do this stuff anymore, and I do. It's so frustrating.I'm highly educated and have a great job, I seriously doubt I'm going to jail or wasting space. Thanks for the nice comments @$$holes. moreVoting Question: Why am I such an addict / compulsive person?

I know I just posted this question.. but I was looking for more answers, so I thought i'd try a different category. My best friend is severely depressed. She shelters herself, spends her time alone, and you have to pressure her to talk about what’s bugging her. I understand she why she is depressed. Her parents got divorced, her father abuses her, her mother is an alcoholic and neglects her, her cousin raped her, and her boyfriend cheated on her for one of her friends. She used to run away or try to commit suicide to get rid of or avoid her problems. She now goes to counseling and is on anti-depressants, which helps her a lot. She’s a really nice person and would do anything for people to not hurt them. That’s one of her flaws I think. Recently she’s been hanging out with the wrong crowd. Ever since she joined this group of “friends” she started getting into trouble, she would steal, get into fights, and she just wasn’t acting like the person she used to be. One of her “friends” has pressured her into doing drugs. She’s become a different person since starting them. And a few nights ago, she got arrested for possession of drugs, I’m not sure which drug it was though. She didn’t get locked up just because the police chief is close to her family. But he said if she continues to smoke, he wont be so nice next time. My friend doesn’t care about much, but she seemed real scared and upset when she had gotten “arrested”. Her mother grounded her, but since she’s never home, my friend was still able to go out anyways. Well, last night she called her mother to come pick her up, but her mother refused. My friend called me all upset, so I had to call her mom and figure things out. I guess her mom said that she wont pick her daughter up and wont allow her to come home until she is “clean” for several weeks, so she knows my friend wont just go back out and buy them again. My friend just turned 18, so it’s not against the law, but my friend has nowhere to go. (note: I’m a minor whose lives with my grandmother. I’ve had a bad situation too, and cannot allow her to live with us by law). Anyways, my friend flushed the drugs she had down the toilet and vowed she wanted to quit, but when I mentioned going to a rehab program to help, she got angry and refused. She said she wasn’t addicted, she just likes the feeling and needs them in order to be happy. Isn’t that the beginning stage of addiction? Next she will need them in order to not be sick, right? I told her she needs to stop, but she said she’s just going to live on the streets, become a prostitute, and use drugs… Just because it doesn’t matter anymore. I told her to stop, so she can go back to her moms. She said that her mother doesn’t love her anyways. I convinced her to go stay at a friends house last night, but she went to the friends house that got her started into drugs. I think that’s a bad idea because she doesn’t have the will power to stop… especially if her friend is smoking right next her. She is ruining her life with these drugs and these “friends”. But she doesn’t realize it. I want her to stop, and I want to help her, but she gets angry and pushes me away. I really do care for her, and I wont just sit back and watch her ruin everything. She has a lot of potential in her life, but she refuses to look beyond the drugs. She says that “drugs understand her better” yet she claims shes not addicted? I need help. I don’t know what to say or do to convince her to stop once and for all. Do you have any ideas of how I can get her to realize she’s ruining her life with the drugs, and get her to stop? Im sorry this is so long. I just really care for her, and don’t want to see her hurting herself or getting into trouble. Thank you. moreVoting Question: [Seriously Starting A Detox/Fitness Program]?

Hi I was court ordered to a drug program where i am tested weekly. In many ways we force people to live People who are very ill or at that stage where they are waiting for death pumped up to the eye balls with drugs. People who do not listen to advice to stop eating so much, smoking or drinking because they are obese, diabetic, cancer or serouses etc. So why do the likes of the NHS still look after abusers who don't take the advice and just tell them you know what we have tried so wash our hands of you!! Asking after watching "the hospital" program where people do not take the seriousness of there health. Diabetes and not controlling there diet?@inspecternibbles - on this program it costs the tax payer 10K to keep a clinic open for an afternoon for young diabetic people and most of the time they do not turn up. The program looks into there life and its gorge gorge and I don't care. I think when it comes to obesity we as a culture we have accepted it which results in them not wanting to do anything because life has accommodated them for there size!! moreResolved Question: Ok to stop wearing nicotine patches?
Ok so I used to smoke 10 to 15 cigarettes a day for 14 years 12 of those years I smoked about a quarter of weed per week smoking everyday. I gave up both at the same time three weeks ago I joined a stop smoking program at my local chemist and they put me on nicotine patches to stop the cravings for nicotine, which worked but made me feel nauseous all the time threw up a few times headaches, dizziness, feel tired all the time, some flu symptoms. I told the pharmacist about this but he told me to continue with the patches as it will get better, I carried on with patches as they did stop the cravings, but the sickness did not stop, I am now on week three and the sickness is continuing today I have not put a patch on and I have not had any cravings and my sickness has gone do you think it would be ok to end the program here its a recommended 5 week program I'm worried that the cravings will come back and i will end up smoking again but the thought of putting a patch on makes me feel nauseous what should I do. I haven't had any problems giving up weed apart from I couldn't sleep in the first week but that has past now.Hey peachie I did wonder about nicotine poisoning but the pharmacist insisted I stick with it so I just thought I better do as he says as he has been trained on the program. Bit worried now. I wont put another patch on even the thought makes me feel ill, but I'm starting to crave now.Hi Melissa, I started with 21mg niquitin clear which is the highest one of that brand, for people who smoke 10 or more a day, as I smoked 10-15 its apparently the right one. moreResolved Question: am I turning into a pothead?
I started smoking last year in november, and right after my first time smoking with my friend, I always had weed on my mind. For instance, if I saw a mindblowing movie like The lord of the rings, I'd always think "wow this movie would be awesome to watch while high" and i would always be surrounded by things in my life that would get me to think of how i would feel in this surrounding if i was high. This year in march i got sent to a drug program and then went on probation and this summer i got out of it. so i have been smoking 2-3 times a day. if i buy weed i wouldn't tell any of my other smoker friends that i bought some cos i want all the weed to myself, so basically i would smoke weed alone most of the time and only smoke with others if they provide the weed. I don't really know the definition of a pothead, but I've heard of that name and I dont know what kind of lifestyle i am living. please help me, i am scared that weed will take over my life and no matter how much i want to quit, i love it too much to stop. moreResolved Question: Is it possible for one to be a drug user - occasionally or heavily - and still be truly happy?
Is it possible for a person who uses illegal drugs to be truly content within themselves or is such behavior always a result of trying to escape reality and mask inner pain? I have a cousin who once said he smokes pot "on occasion," as if that justifies his behavior and makes it okay to break the law. He was also, according to what I heard from my aunt, a heavy drinker/alcoholic for some time but I think he either stopped completely or at least cut back. He refuses to shower and it's gotten so bad that co-workers don't want to sit near him at work. From what I know, he didn't have too good of a relationship with his real father, who happened to kill himself last year and was a drug addict. My step-brother and step-sister also have a piece of crap for a father and they, too, smoke weed, with the boy possibly doing more than that, like acid. Both of them are very angry at the world and are very condescending towards others. The brother has been caught stealing twice and the sister once. To me, all of these actions indicate [besides possibly laziness, a sense of entitlement, greed, etc] unhappiness and deeply-rooted inner pain. I also love to watch TV's "Intervention" and I see that, time and time again, the addicts have some kind of emotional trauma that has scarred them. However, the show could be fake for all I know but I think it's one of the only real reality programs left to watch. What do you think? moreResolved Question: Will I ever get a court date?
ok so Like 1 or 2 years ago I did something stupid. I threw a smoke ball into the road. The car turned into my complex and I ran home. Then I came back outside because I thought maybe I didn't hit the car and the person just lived here. So as I was coming out of the building, he comes around the corner. It turned out to be a community police officer or something(he wasn't a real cop). I guess he must have saw me or something because as soon as he saw me he stopped and asked my why i threw a fire work into the road. I said it wasn't a fire work(and he thought I was being a smart a**). So then he called the cops. They asked me what happened, I gave a statement. They were about to arrest me but luckily they didn't because it was my first offense. They said it was a felony(arson). And said I would receive a letter with a court date. I had a meeting with a probation officer(not mine) and she told me that they might just put me in a program and that's it. But I never got one. Will I ever receive one? thanks moreResolved Question: career choice, drug problem.idkk?

Ok so my little sister is uncontrollable and no one tries to stop her. Last week she and some guy stole my parents car, got caught at 6 A.M. with two guys sleeping in her room, tried to stab my father, kicked in my door, and broke one of my room windows. Not to mention the fact that she's smokes an array of drugs, flirts with guys much older than me(16), and destroyed nearly everything in our older sister's house. She's been kicked out of 3 schools this previous school year and she's 13. Our mom doesn't do anything about it( I think she's afraid to), and our dad is never really around these days so he's no help. My sister keeps all of her privileges and does whatever she wants, whenever she wants. I hear talk around the house about behavioral programs, but then again, I've been hearing that kind of stuff for years now... cover up? and lack of care for the workers? this is their response letter stating why they believe respirators should not be given out The Unified Area Command is committed to stopping the oil spill, cleaning the gulf and restoring normal business in the area affected. Our highest priority is worker safety. The Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) have assessed the risk and provided information on workplace safety and health for these responders; the guidelines can be found at http://www.cdc.gov/niosh/topics/oilspillresponse/protecting/ The primary means of controlling airborne exposures to harmful dusts, fogs, fumes, mists, gases, smokes, sprays, or vapors is always to prevent, control, or remove the atmospheric contamination. In situations when exposures cannot be otherwise controlled, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection, may be needed. Based on air monitoring data collected to date, exposures to hydrocarbons, dispersants and other hazardous chemicals are below established occupational exposure limits. In most situations that have been examined to date, mandatory wearing of respirators is not required. That said, respirators will be provided to response workers engaged in the source control activities and for vessels involved in burning crude oil. These respirators are provided as part of a comprehensive respiratory protection program. Respirators only need to be worn when air-monitoring results indicate an elevated level of air contaminants, or when professional judgment determines there is potential exposure, or when workers are reporting health effects or symptoms. Even when comprehensive and routine air monitoring indicates that no inhalational hazard exists, an employer may permit respiratory protection to be worn voluntarily by employees provided it will not in itself create a hazard. At this time, where air monitoring does not indicate a need, respirator use is voluntary and not recommended. The only situation where voluntary use may be helpful is when an individual is bothered by non-hazardous levels of hydrocarbon odor and cannot be relocated to another work area. In that case, a carbon-impregnated odor-reduction filtering facepiece respirator may provide some odor reduction potential—and can be worn voluntarily without the employer having to implement a respiratory protection program. These types of respirators do not provide health protective effects; they only provide odor reduction. Wearing any respirator will have adverse effects on breathing, vision and communication, will result in some discomfort, and may cause additional physiological stress. Wearing respirators, protective clothing, and other forms of PPE in hot environments can accelerate the onset of heat stress and exhaustion. Responders using any form of PPE, particularly dermal PPE, should be monitored for signs of heat stress, and take heat stress precautions (i.e., water, shade, rest) as needed. When workers have concerns about environmental conditions, they are instructed to stop the job and call an occupational safety and health professional to evaluate the environment. If the occupational safety and health professional determines that there is a potentially hazardous exposure or if workers are reporting health effects or symptoms, workers are instructed to move out of the area until the workplace is judged to be acceptable, or they may be instructed to utilize approved respiratory protection. The nation has failed to reach its 2010 health goal of reducing high school smoking to 16 percent, federal officials said Thursday in a report calling for a resurgence of antismoking advertising to counter the tobacco industry’s $12 billion marketing campaign. “People are getting the image that it’s cool to use nicotine as a drug,” Terry F. Pechacek of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said in an interview. “We need to bring back our voice, our antismoking mass media campaign.” The popularity of hookah bars and smokeless nicotine products, Mr. Pechacek said, are the modern equivalent of the banned Joe Camel cartoon in their appeal to youths. And some experts worry that the new health campaign against obesity — spearheaded by Michelle Obama from the White House — may be hampering donations to antitobacco campaigns as public health issues shift in emphasis and compete for funds. “Over all, the antismoking countermessage has been lost,” Mr. Pechacek said as the C.D.C. released its biannual survey of more than 10,000 high school students, showing 19.5 percent of them are smokers. High school smoking rates dipped significantly to 21.9 percent in 2003, from 34.8 percent in 1995, then progress stalled, he said. One-third of high school smokers are expected to die prematurely of tobacco-related disease, said Mr. Pechacek, the associate director for science in the agency’s Office on Smoking and Health. With about four million students graduating from high school each year, the difference between the current rate and the “Healthy People 2010” goal set by the government 10 years ago amounts to an additional 140,000 student smokers and 46,000 premature deaths for each high school class nationally. Separately, a New England Journal of Medicine commentary on Wednesday was titled “Don’t Forget Tobacco.” “By assuming that the tobacco war has been won, we risk consigning millions of Americans to premature death,” Dr. Steven A. Schroeder, a professor of medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, and Kenneth E. Warner, dean of the School of Public Health at the University of Michigan, wrote in the article. “At a time when all eyes are focused on health care reform, escalating medical costs and childhood obesity, cigarette smoking remains by far the most common cause of preventable death and disability in the United States,” they added. “The prevalence of smoking in the United States hovers at 20 percent, more than eight million people are sick or disabled as a result of tobacco use, and smoking kills 450,000 Americans annually.” Because of a lagging antismoking campaign, they said the total smoking rate in the nation was expected to decline only to 16 percent by 2020, and to stabilize at 13.5 percent after midcentury unless more was done to stop it. Mr. Warner said financing for antismoking promotions had been lost from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, which has turned more toward childhood obesity, and the American Legacy Foundation, an antitobacco group created in the 1998 master settlement agreement between states and the tobacco industry. Some public health experts say they are concerned that obesity campaigns have attracted more money and attention recently than programs against tobacco. And Mrs. Obama’s national campaign against childhood obesity is occurring at a time when President Obama has said he has found it difficult to quit smoking. “I find it ironic, but I think it also points out the challenge, the addiction that smokers are faced with,” Mr. Warner said. “Those are the two pre-eminent public health issues of the day. What I regret is when we start posing obesity versus tobacco, rather than saying those issues are so important to public health, both of them, that they need to be elevated above the fray.” ( how you think thos problem should be solved or should be met?) moreResolved Question: Did you gain weight when you quit smoking? How much did other people gain or lose after quitting and what advice do you have? moreResolved Question: How do I help a friend who drinks excessivly?
This is long.. please bear with me.... My best friend since I've know her drinks alcohol constantly. It used to be 5-7bottles of beer every evening. She had weight loss surgery, and slimmed way down. she was told she was to have no alcohol whatsoever. She fought the urge to not drink and beat it. 7 months into the year, at a meeting a few people asked if they could drink and the answer was NO. after the meeting a few other people said they have been drinking hard liquor which had much less to nearly no calories. my friend started experimenting with hard liquor and got rehooked quickly. she is now into 1 bottle of wine per night. Weekends, sometimes 2 bottles. She also smokes very heavily during the day as well. I have known her for 14 years. since she has lost her weight, she started going out to bars and lounges and has met an incredible amount of new people of whom she sees as her extended family. these people are constantly drinking and every picture I see with them in it is usually in a bar. They go out to the lake and camping and it's just a drinking frenzy. My friend says she is a social drinker and it's not a problem as she swears she doesn't drive when she drinks, I know she has and her car is proof. When she drank beer you'd never know she was drinking. She could walk a straight line in high heels. with the wine, I've noticed she doesn't have that ability. If she isn't at the bars, her house has 3-4 people of which bring some sort of booze. I have tried to talk to my friend about her drinking and it becomes a huge verbal fight. At times when she's sober and we talk, she'll sometimes admit she needs to get her drinking under control and has admitted she's an alcoholic, but refuses to do anything about it. I think she's waiting for a pill or something to help her stop. she's trying this pill to stop smoking but it isn't working. Several of us who know and love this lady want to help her. We have agreed that at least 1 of us at all times would accompany her to an AA type meeting for support and would be her support group. We can't do an intervention because her family drinks "socially" and constantly. Her brother brews his own beer because there's nothing stronger that he can buy. Her family does not drink like my friend does, but she is always around alcohol of some sorts. her new found bar friends all drink, and I know she's drinking more and more because of them, not to fit in, but probably because it's there and "free flowing". Her skin used to be flawless, now she has wrinkles showing and her voice is choppy and sounds like she has phlem in her throat all the time. Her son who's going to be 14 has asked her to stop drinking and he gets ignored as she says it's only 1 glass. (it is.. that he sees). I need advice on how I can help my friend. she's a great person, and I only forsee things getting worse for her. I have been waiting for a chance to talk to her when she's in that "vulnerable" state, but it hasn't happened. and the times it has it's very brief and I'm not able to get the dialogue started. I have to find a place to go for an AA type meeting that will actually help. She's made several friends who were court ordered into a country AA type program. after they got out of the meeting they all went to the bars or went to her place & started drinking. I'm afraid my friend will resort to this because she thinks she know the program and just has to follow the steps and she'll do it when she's ready. I unfortunately have also been waiting for something severe to happen to where she has to face it. dents & scrapes on her car aren't enough. she crashed into a curb & hit a small tree. she lied & said she avoided a dog. I would not have time to list all of the bad luck that has encompassed me over the past nearly 3 years so I will just give you the jist. Prior to my string of bad luck, I was on top of the world, so it seemed. My husband and I had been trying for a baby for a couple of years, and we finally achieved the pregnancy, and in that time, a lot of great things were coming our way. Great finances, wonderful times with family, my older children from my first marriage were doing great, we were all in wonderful health, and so many other things that simply is not so right now. We had our little girl and life was near bliss until she turned 7 months old and one morning, I woke up to find her not breathing and blue. Called 9-1-1 and turned out she was having a seizure. Fast forward to a couple of weeks and she had so many, that she almost lost her lost and ended up in the hospital for weeks, intubated twice. Over that time, from November 1st 2007 until present day, up to this very moment, I do not feel like I have felt a semblance of peace. Her seizures still continue to happen, and has been hospitalized a lot since. She averages now 2-3 times a year in the hospital and is developmentally delayed due to her condition. We were blessed to get pregnant again and all we did was hope and pray for a healthy baby, but when we was born, we almost lost him as he was born with a rare but life threatening condition which required him a hospital stay for the first month of his life. He is doing well (but I still feel so jipped he was so sick I could not hold him till he was almost two weeks old and was in the hospital the first month of his life) now, but I do somehow feel like we were really cursed with not only the bad health of our babies, but here's some other things that have happened all starting in that time in 2007; Husband's job loss, and very bad financial strain, resulting from other very bad things happening from lack of money. Got taken to court by my ex who walked out on our son before he was born, for parental rights and caused emotional turmoil to my son who was 12 and never knew this man. Actually our WHOLE family suffered as his siblings miss him when he has to go off with this man, they're close and treasure their time together. The courts granted him rights to him against the boy's will and he now is forced to spend time with him which cuts into the time he has with the only dad he has ever known. In the process, I had bad lawyer harassment from this man's lawyer until we finally got our own, which the man who raised him as his son and gave him his name paid for. I lost two pregnancies in this time which I really wanted while so many others around me were having healthy babies and pregnancies. I had bad health with kidney stones. Hospitalized four times in 2008 for them, and had two surgeries in that time which left me with huge medical bills I am still paying down. In one of those hospital days that resulted in surgery, my daughter had a seizure relapse after I prayed with all my might she wouldn't while i was sick and unable to take care of her. I had to leave the hospital early and in pain to be with her at her hospital stay. I literally went from my hospital to hers in so much pain. My 16 year old son got in trouble from being caught smoking marijuana and now 'the powers that be' (government people to be exact) made him go into this program and these people breathe down our necks and watch our every move. Nobody else in our family smokes this or even drinks, but we are put under constant scrutiny for his mistake. My license from out of state expired and I have gotten, twice, literally so close to getting my license that I passed the tests, they took my picture and money for it, literally to have them stop and void it all because at the last minute, they discover a 'missing' document which is usually something that takes weeks to get in the mail. In the meantime I can't drive which creates a ton of problems and inconviences. I have had major relationship issues with my mother. We didn't get along great over the years, but it has gotten to where we don't speak for months at a time. I have also had bad blood with other family members, at the height of both my baby's illnesses when I need help and support most. I could go on and on and on, but these are the highlights, and every single day, there is always something that happens that makes some course of the day very hard, and I mostly never get any good sleep as I am up plagued with stress and worry. I just want to know if it is somehow a curse, and how to get some peace as each day, I feel tortured. moreResolved Question: You rule the world and have access to all the world's monies. What do you do to fix the world's problems?
You are completely in control. How it came to be that way isn't important. Think about all the problems in the world and how you would fix them. I will be responding to each and every answer given. Yes that's right, you're guaranteed a response! Below is a list of some of the things you should consider. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -What political systems would you introduce? -Would you allow all religions, or ban some or all? What if the religion teaches beliefs that are likely to prove problematic to worldwide society? -Would you make efforts to switch to alternative energy supplies? -What would you do about all the numerous wars taking place worldwide? -What would you do about immigration worldwide? -What would you do about the worldwide economy? -What would you do to improve education? Would you make it less standardized or more standardized? -What would you do to prevent the spread of diseases such as AIDS? -Would you allow alcohol and smoking? To what extent? Legalize lighter drugs such as weed alongside educating people about the potential harm of these drugs? -What would you do about the child sex trade that flourishes in 3rd world countries? How would you go about stopping it? Or even, would you allow it? -What would you do about nuclear weapons? -How would you try to bring the quality of life in countries like Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Algeria etc to the same level as in countries like the USA, Britian or other western cultures? -What would you do about crime? Would you change the penal system? Would you enforce tougher punishments such as the death penalty? Would you try to improve prisons so that they reform criminals, and not make them worse? -Would you make every country use the same currency, so as to help balance the world economy? -Would you continue to spend money on space and science research programs whilst the poor still suffer? -How would you go about tackling people's intolerant attitudes towards people of different cultures, races, religion, sexuality, status, wealth. -What would you do about animal rights worldwide? -What would you do about women still being treated as second class citizens in some countries? How would you tackle these attitudes? What if these attitudes are religiously based? Isn't forcing sex equality on them therefore religiously intolerant? Is this okay? -What would you do about sex worldwide? Would you forbid it except for in marriage? Should kids be allowed to have sex? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -Would you make society secular, or would you base laws based on religion? These are all the problems I can think of at the moment, but feel free to comment on any I've left out. Remember to think about all the political, economic, social and cultural repercussions of your actions. Consider all these things very carefully. You must justify your decisions and how you would go about changing things without ruining the world. Also, try not to base all your decisions based on what would be right for your own culture. You have to think about how all countries and cultures worldwide can work together for an ultimately better society. This is a completely open ended question - you can go where ever you want to with it. It's your sandbox. I'm genuinely curious to see what your overall conclusion will be. So even do this may seem like a daunting, impossible task - and indeed it is, which is why all these problems haven't been fixed yet - please do share your opinion. I really want to hear from you :) You can go really in depth with this one or just make it simple, it's completely up to you. You can even just comment on one issue if you want, just make sure to contribute. Like everyone, I do of course have my own political views and stances, but I will be ignoring these when choosing the best answer. Instead, I will be picking the BEST REASONED answer. I'm expecting lots of answers for this one - after all, I'm basically just asking for you to share your political opinion, which is something we all love to do - so I'll be dissapointed if I don't get lots of responses. Before picking best answer I will also be responding to each and every answer given. That's right, you are guaranteed a response! I will comment on why your actions would make sense, as well as the potential problems caused by these actions, so think through it carefully. On that note, get thinking, and get writing! Can't wait to hear from you! :) moreResolved Question: who pays for the smoking habits of children?

I'm all for it for adult use. But i'm 17 years old, been in drug treatment programs since I was thirteen. I have seen kids who started smoking at the age of ten, by the time they are 16 they are basically retarded. They even look different. It's like the weed stops them from growing. People say that teens are better off smoking weed than drinking, hell no it's just not true. I've seen people who started smoking when they were 12, and look like they are 12 5 years later. Marijuana played a role in the development of my anxiety disorder. I have seen and even smoked with parents of friends of mine. Some 50 even 60, who smoke weed and are just fine physically. They do have crappy jobs though and are poor... But the point is kids smoking weed is VERY VERY damaging.Yeah compare weed to meth, great argument. Weed won't addict or kill you. I don't smoke at all anymore and haven't in the past year.Personal experience is a lot more valuable than anything you hear.I'm for legalizing but there should be a way to stop teens atleast under 16 from doing it.Adults should be able to make educated choices on drug use. If someone knows the consequences of shooting heroin and does't care, let him. Making self harm illegal is unethical. moreResolved Question: Has anyone heard or tried Peter Lachland's stop smoking program?
I bought it, and NOW I am having second thoughts!!! moreVoting Question: Drug use? I wish to become a police officer.?
I'm not like other people who come on here claiming that they are wrong, they regret doing drugs, and they still want to be a police officer in the future. I am a great kid, I have my problems, but who doesn't? I remained sober off of any drug for my entire life until recently. I am 17 years old. I have had quite a life so far. I plan on joining the United States Coast Guard when I graduate for four active years of duty. After that I may go to college for computer programming or for Criminal justice. I have nothing but respect for honest officers of the law and if I get a degree in Law Enforcement then I defiantly want to be a police officer. It's quite hard to choose which one I want right now. I started smoking marijuana recently (stopped recently too, smoked maybe 3 months) and I did my experimentation with that. I do plan on doing Salvia (legal) maybe a few times. I plan on maybe doing extacy a few times, and I plan on doing shrooms a few times. I may do coke (I already refuse to do meth or heroine, I made a promise). I might even go as high as DMT though. It's a life thing for me, I have my own reasons and I don't expect anyone to understand. I want to experience it all before I dedicate my life to serving my country in quite a few ways. I am young and have probably many years before I try and become a police officer (5-7) if I do. I'm not 18 yet, I will be in September. Could I go all out this summer? Experience what I want to experience before I buckle down and live my life? What would this do to my dream as a Police Officer? I plan on being 100% honest and telling them this same thing if it is brought up on a polygraph. Will they mind I was young? Or does that break many rules that will disqualify automaticly. I have heard of those. Please, give me all your thoughts. This could affect my future greatly. moreResolved Question: What do U think of this The Racial-Profiling Smoke Screen?
Please people if you cannot read for minute , please skip this question .Thank you..As each day passes without any abatement in the increasingly surreal hysteria over the Arizona immigration law, the ground for that opposition becomes ever clearer: The real problem with the Arizona law is that it threatens to make immigration enforcement a reality. Every other argument against it is a smoke screen. The two main lines of attack against SB 1070 — that it is preempted by federal immigration laws and that it will lead to racial profiling — make sense only if you believe that we should not be enforcing our immigration laws. Putting state resources behind immigration enforcement interferes with federal enforcement only if it is federal policy not to enforce the immigration laws. Without question, more people will be picked up in Arizona for being in the country illegally with SB 1070 than would have been picked up without SB 1070. Arizona has only several hundred ICE agents, and they are are overmatched by the estimated 560,000 illegal aliens in the state. Authorizing the state’s 15,000 police officers and deputies to inquire into suspected illegal aliens’ immigration status during lawful stops acts as a significant force multiplier for ICE. That is SB 1070’s only effect. Opponents of SB 1070 can argue that a state’s detection of illegal aliens conflicts with federal policy only if it is federal policy that those illegal aliens never be subjected to the immigration laws in the first place. Everything that the Obama administration has said regarding SB 1070, as well as its implementation of the 287(g) and Secure Communities programs, suggests that such lax enforcement is in fact its de facto stance on immigration. President Obama reiterated the racial-profiling trope in his meeting this Wednesday with Mexico’s president, Felipe Calderón: “We’re examining any implications, especially for civil rights, because in the United States of America, no law-abiding person, be they an American citizen, a legal immigrant, or a visitor or tourist from Mexico, should ever be subject to suspicion simply because of what they look like.” The Arizona legislature agrees. SB 1070 states that a law-enforcement officer may make an inquiry regarding someone’s immigration status only if he has reasonable suspicion — a longstanding legal concept requiring defensible objective facts — for thinking that the person may be in the country illegally, and only if the officer has stopped or detained that person as part of an independent and lawful police investigation. What someone “looks like” is not a sufficient basis for reasonable suspicion under the law, pace Obama. The most likely trigger for an officer’s immigration inquiry under SB 1070 will be driving without a license or not possessing another form of valid government identification during a lawful stop, having no credible explanation for the lack of identification, and giving answers that suggest possible illegal status. If someone presents a valid ID, any possibility of reasonable suspicion arising is gone. But let’s be honest: National origin is an inevitable part of immigration enforcement. Foreign alienage is a prerequisite to being an illegal alien; to say that national origin may not be a factor in assessing whether someone may be in the country illegally is to render immigration law nonsensical. If foreign alienage were not a valid consideration regarding border control, incoming passengers on international flights could not be separated into U.S. citizens and non-U.S. citizens for customs clearance. Yet the illegal-alien lobby, in its nuclear assault on the Arizona law, has managed to discredit notice of foreign birth as a factor in immigration enforcement and to fold foreign alienage into the utterly lethal category of “racial profiling.” The original version of SB 1070 said that a “law enforcement official . . . may not solely consider . . . national origin in implementing the requirements of this subsection except to the extent permitted by the United States or Arizona Constitution.” In the uproar that followed passage of the law, Arizona legislators took out “solely.” It is not clear how this change affects legislative intent or the impact of the law. The Supreme Court has allowed border-patrol agents to use apparent foreign birth as one factor in the initial decision to make a car stop near the border. Lower courts have applied that ruling in cases challenging car stops far from the border as well, allowing apparent foreign alienage to count as one part of reasonable suspicion in initiating a stop, so long as the stop was based on other specific, articulable facts as well. SB 1070 is narrower than those rulings, since it applies only to the development of reasonable suspicion after a stop has already been made. To argue, as the illegal-alien lobby is currently doing, that a local law-enforcement officer may not consider apparent foreign origin in deci moreVoting Question: How do I help my children?
I have two children, my daughter is 12 and my son is 14. They have been through a lot in the last couple of years, with going thru a divorce and then their father moved all the way across the country to Florida and doesn't try to contact them very often. They now live with myself and my fiance, which I understand can bring alot of stress to them. They used to be best of friends, but now they bicker non-stop. I have tried many different ways to try and get them to stop with no avail. Now, my son also bullies my daughter and myself and pretty much has total control over our household because my fiance cannot implent very much when it comes to discipline since they are not his children. I try to but my son gets so angry he won't listen to reasoning from anyone anyway. Plus, he was caught smoking pot a little over a month ago and finds it to be no big deal. He's Mr. Popular at school and has the older kids picking on my daughter too. He does have fairly decent grades, but he never gets to class on time and I cringe when my work phone rings hoping it's not their school. I try to discipline him but nothing seems to be working. My daughter also has major anger issues from all the picking on her that he has done. She is repressed and depressed and angry. I can't talk to her much anymore either, all I get is slamming doors. She too is not doing well in school, she is just barely passing and is always late to class. Then recently she was pushing down a boy and cursing at him. I just want my kids back, they used to be great kids who were happy. Now, I have these two children who I don't even know anymore. I once read in a book that when your children become teenagers gremlins take them away and return them once they are past the teenage years. But this seems far worse. My kids have been grounded for so long that I feel like I might as well take away their childhood. I bought the CD program "Total Transformation" and hopes it helps, but I don't know if one CD program can fix all the grief I have. I'm sick of the anti-Arizona crap. I'm sick of the "should obama have done something about the oil spill". I'm sick of the "obama-care" debate. I'm just done with all of it. Maybe this is my stance saying "if you hate us, leave". I am an American - it doesn't matter what colour my skin is. I am an American. I do not support illegal immigration because it's destructive. I do not support the government telling me I "have" to purchase health care insurance. I do not support a president who bows to other governments and their leaders. I want a government who stays out of my life - I don't want them regulating what I eat, how much I use my cell phone, if I wear a seat-belt, if my car is "green", how much gas or electricity or water I use, if I smoke or drink or any of that! Stay out of my life! I also don't want my government telling me to sign up for medicaid, food stamps, or welfare because I'm "poor". I have family, friends and neighbors that will help me (if I need it) and I don't need your tax money to make ends meet. Stop taxing me to death, stop making it more affordable to go on government programmes as opposed to working. Stop it all! I want to go back to our Constitution. What is wrong with that? Please, tell me why you disagree - why govt should be supporting everyone? Why, why, why? I don't live in Europe for a reason - I want equality. Equal justice. And don't argue "social" justice and whatnot - EQUAL. (We hit a huge financial wall in December because of him losing his job due to his pot smoking habit, and still have not bounced back from it, so he just up and leaves to go back to his parent's house. Great guy I fell for, huh?) Anyways! I have a job that I love, but I don't make enough to pay everything right now. I have been on a non stop search for a 2nd job but nothing has worked out so far. On a good note, I recently enrolled in Penn Foster's Paralegal program. My VA benefits from my Dad will pay the tuition. However, I was wondering if I can get a student loan to help with getting the bills caught up. I have never been in this bad of situation before. She looks sort of humanish, but I am positive that she is not human. Here is how I know: #1 she is too fat and dumpy to be a human female; she is shaped like a fig. #2 once she starts talking she does not stop. She does not understand that humans use their ears to listen to other people sometimes. Once she starts talking, it is like her "pause" or "off" switch is broken. Even if another person says something to her - she just keeps talking at 200 words per minute. Even if me or my wife leaves the room or hangs up the telephone, I am pretty sure that she keeps on talking. #3 she seems to have some kind of software glitch; her mental search engine consistently incurs "tracking errors" which cause her to focus on meaningless trivialities (like for example, today my wife and sister-in-law were talking about overseas flight reservations - for tomorrow - on the telephone and suddenly my sister-in-law started talking about some actress that died as if anybody could possibly care less; also, she keeps talking about family pets that died years ago) #4 she hates all male humans, including men she doesn't even know (for some reason she especially hates the Massachusetts politician John Kerry; also, she thinks the President of the United States of America is an Islamic citizen of Indonesia ); #5 she thinks that Sarah Palin is the natural leader of the human race; she thinks that FOX news is true; #6 when she shops in supermarkets, she shops like and alien: she treats a supermarket sort of like an ammunition dump; she buys huge quantities of single items; for example, she buys a trunk full of bags of pretzels at a one time, or picks up a case of cups of "flan" or ten frozen chickens ... sometimes she buys ten pounds of ice and puts it in our freezer (even though we have an ice maker); #7 she does not sleep; instead, apparently, throughout the night, she sits in front of the televison with the volume turned up really loud watching reality televison programs that would bore a ten year old to death; #8 she is plotting to overthrow the human race; I am positive that her first objective is to use a stream of loud gibberish to first stun my wife and then take control of my wife's brain; #9 she only uses the cell phone to issue commands to Earhtlings - she does not respond when Earthlings call her (nor does she appear able to check her voicemail); she seems unable to grasp that some human beings have to go to their jobs and cannot simply just stop whatever they are doing and go pick her up at the airport whenever she flies into town; #10 she puts tubes of foul smelling vegetable matter into her mouth and lights them on fire then breathes the smoke. moreResolved Question: is there anything i can do about overeating while pregnant?

Okay so I have to do a presentation in Biology. We are given a fake patient (Information is on a sheet of paper) and we have to figure out and present to the class, what is the cause of their symptoms. Stating what disease/whatever else the cause is. The description is: Sophie Bowers is 25 years old and has always lead a healthy lifestyle: she is a vegetarian, she exercises every day, and she doesn't smoke or drink, except for the occasional red wine with her friends. Lately, she has been feeling extremely tired after work. This is unusual for Sophie because normally she is considered to be the most energetic and bubbly person amongst her friends. Also, Sophie noticed that she has been shedding weight, even thogh her diet and exercise program have not changed. Sophie admits that work can be stressful. She is a consultant at a major engineering firm, often has to fly oversears at an hour's notice. On her last flight which took place 3 months ago, she sat beside someone who was wheezing throughout the entire 18 hour trip. She had absolutely no rest. Since that trip work has been non-stop. Sometimes Sophie would find herself feeling feverish and sweating profusely. Her cough (Which she attributes to her seatmate on the plane) has gotten progressibely worse. Today she found traces of blood in cough and that was the impetus that caused her to come to the hospital. Yeah so there is a lot of information and I don't know where to start, or what the cause of her symptoms are. Just please answer the question above. -he is a compulsive liar -unaffectionate -unsympathetic -has called me a slut, piece of trash, etc. -used to smoke pot on a daily basis -lit up a joint 5 feet away from our daughter -joined AdultFriendFinder while we were together -has run back to his ex for sex on 3+ different occasions -told me when I went to a therapy program he didnt want me to change for the better cause he doesnt want to be with someone he doesnt recognize -met a girl at the races while I was in a therapy program due to stress -told me he left me cause he wanted to continue doing drugs -got arrested for possession -promised he would never associate with the crowd he used to do drugs with then went back to them -moved in with the guys he did drugs with -he tried to take our daughter around those guys -made arrangements to sell synthetic pot by trying to buy it in bulk -threatened to bring my family down in court -his mom instigates problems/gossips -stopped taking his daughter every weekend “to give me less time to find a boyfriend” -stopped taking his daughter Wednesdays because he “cant afford the gas” but goes to a bar an hour away that next weekend -drinks in violation of his probation -is driving with a suspended license -when we were together he told me he “wants to be able to actually sleep with a gf” -leaves me at the drop of a hat or when things wont go his way -has played a part in crushing my self-esteem -was told by the probation officer he has a highly addictive personality -put me in a chokehold twice and shoved my head into a wall using his a year ago -mocks my relationship with God -stood in front of church and dedicating his life to God yet returning to his old lifestyle -not appreciating the things I did for him like driving him around when his license was revoked (grunting & groaning when I ever asked for help with gas for driving his to and from his home town) - once told me he sees why my dad abused meThe reason I am hesitant to ask questions here is because people cant seem to answer without trying to insult. I am intelligent... I happened to have a child young and because the guy I had a child with started using AFTER our child was born you are accusing me of getting with a drug addict? I am responsible, responsible enough to know my child needs both her parents. So thats why I put in an effort so long. Re-read what I wrote - I said we have broken up. Please answer the question only.I should add that I dedicated my life to God 2 years ago in which, yes, I became celibate (which is what prompted him to say he actually wants to have sex with a gf.) moreResolved Question: In your opinion: Where is he headed in life?
To begin- YES I put up with waaaay more than I should have... I have known him 7 years. And YES we are broken up and we are about to go to court over our daughter. My question to you is based on the following list of things he has done to me and our daughter, where is my ex headed? Thanks for letting me vent! Sorry its long... and this is just off the top of my head of what hes done the past couple yrs: -he is a compulsive liar -unaffectionate -unsympathetic -has called me a slut, piece of trash, etc. -used to smoke pot on a daily basis -lit up a joint 5 feet away from our daughter -joined AdultFriendFinder while we were together -has run back to his ex for sex on 3+ different occasions -told me when I went to a therapy program he didnt want me to change for the better cause he doesnt want to be with someone he doesnt recognize -met a girl at the races while I was in a therapy program due to stress -told me he left me cause he wanted to continue doing drugs -got arrested for possession -promised he would never associate with the crowd he used to do drugs with then went back to them -moved in with the guys he did drugs with -he tried to take our daughter around those guys -made arrangements to sell synthetic pot by trying to buy it in bulk -threatened to bring my family down in court -his mom instigates problems/gossips -stopped taking his daughter every weekend “to give me less time to find a boyfriend” -stopped taking his daughter Wednesdays because he “cant afford the gas” but goes to a bar an hour away that next weekend -drinks in violation of his probation -is driving with a suspended license -when we were together he told me he “wants to be able to actually sleep with a gf” -leaves me at the drop of a hat or when things wont go his way -has played a part in crushing my self-esteem -was told by the probation officer he has a highly addictive personality -put me in a chokehold twice and shoved my head into a wall using his a year ago -mocks my relationship with God -stood in front of church and dedicating his life to God yet returning to his old lifestyle -not appreciating the things I did for him like driving him around when his license was revoked (grunting & groaning when I ever asked for help with gas for driving his to and from his home town) - once told me he sees why my dad abused me moreResolved Question: Where is he headed in life ***VENT***?

I am 31 years old and three months ago I had stopped smoking. Two months ago I started an extreme workout program. I have been a smoker for about 11 years. Now I know that my lungs are trying to recover and repair themselves, but after running 4 miles straight every other day, I shouldn't be out of breath every time I go upstairs. Also, every day I get tired to the point where I could fall asleep at any time of the day. Shouldn't I be getting healthier by eating right, exercising and not smoking? moreVoting Question: what should i do about my best friend?

They always say the first step with a problem is knowing it's a problem. Well I think I have a problem with weed. I enjoy it, but after smoking for as long as I have I see it's preventing me from getting some basic daily tasks complete. When I get home from work I don't do the dishes or laundry or clean the litter box.. I roll one and sit on the couch. I don't do any other drug, I will admit weed helps me eat and sleep... but i want to take a break from it for a while. and maybe for good. Out of all the years I smoked I never wanted to put it down, I still don't see any health risks for it. just my productivity is for the birds. Is there a program or something I can do to stop. Other than just stop because I don't have the will power for that. moreResolved Question: What's wrong with me...?
Im actually a pretty avid yahoo answers user, just wanted to make a new account so no one knew who I was. I suffer from severe depression, after the end of a long relationship, that meant the world to me. Since then my life has gone down hill. I'm failing my classes at school, and Im about to flunk out of my college program. My parents don't know that but they hate me anyways so Im sure they wouldn't be surprised. I hate my job its depressing as all hell. I see people suffering through life every day, their lives becoming useless and they live just for the sake of living, they've lost everyone and everything important to them. Ive seen many people die in my line of work, and it really has gotten to me, so much so that I had to leave one job, but the new one is not much better. Actually right now for example Im taking care of a 60 year old, she used to be the lunch supervisor at my highschool. She now has cancer. Today she told me about how scared she was for tomorrow because they were going to tell her if she could keep going to chemo and if she couldn't then she'll be dead within a few weeks. This isnt the only hard conversation Ive had with patients but it was since I was diagnosed with server depression. I hate my home life, I still live at home because I cant afford to live on my own, and my parents drive me crazy just like im sure I drive them crazy. Heres the funny thing, About 5 months ago after my girlfriend of 3 years left me I started seeking professional help after a huge breakdown. I was diagnosed with sever depression, and was prescribed a daily dose of 150mg of wellbutrin. For a while at the begining I had started to smoke, do drugs, do every possible self destructive thing possible. Then after I started the wellbutrin it stopped. I quit smoking, drugs the works. I started seeing a therapist once a week, and it was really helping. But now all of a sudden Im back to how I was... I feel just as depressed if not more. My doctor increased my dose to 300mg per day and prescribed ativan for anxiety. I've still been going to see my therapist. I want to be happy god I want to be happy so badly, I just cant seem to get ahead in life, every time something happens that I think is going well it just gives me the finger and says f*ck you! My therapist suggested I try dating again, I did, I was supposed to go on my first "first" date with someone in three years, she said yes and then blew me off, and said maybe next week. I just don't know what to do anymore, the meds don't seem to be helping anymore, or if they are then I must be way over being depressed. It's just if the meds wont help and the therapy isnt working then what else is there... I dont want to feel like this anymore, I dont want to be dependant on others. I want to feel happy and I cant cant figure out how. You know what I did a few hours ago, after coming home from being blown off from my date and having a end of life discussion with a patient today, I opened up a bottle of rum and had a flew glasses, then when everyone left my house, I turned off all the lights and layed infront of the tv, put a blanket over me got comfortable and grabbed a shot gun, not loaded. But I thought for a minute about doing it, I even closed my eyes and pulled the trigger a few times. Then I cried for an hour, and finally got up and threw up for 10 minutes, until I started throwing up blood. I almost wish I had the guts to do it but I know I never could, Im too much of a coward and I couldnt do that to my parents. I feel like I'm in hell, and theres no way out. Why cant I just catch a break, I just want to find someone who makes me feel happy again, who actually cares about me. I want to stop worrying about school, and I just want to be able to wake up again and be happy. I've been put on the meds and I talk to the therapists... I dont feel like going to get locked away, in some padded cell but I just dont know what to do with myself. I still wake up. I still do my daily routine, with a few happy moments here and there thanks to the meds, but I still hate it, everything about my life. I hate it. Funny thing is there probably wont be anyone who reads this, and thats ok because what difference would it make, just like what difference has all these meds done, what difference has trying to get out there, meet new people, try damn hard to do the best possible job, try at school just to continually fail. What good is it? Well my parents just got home, and they're already yelling about something. I guess life goes on right... Since this has to be a question then here it is, how do you turn something with no hope into something worth living? moreResolved Question: Quit smoking programs on the internet. Any of them for free?
Right, so you've heard it a million times before and I've said it myself a million times myself: I want to stop smoking. I've looked up on the internet and there are many programs but they all cost. Are there any effective sites that really work and don't cost? moreResolved Question: support groups for marijuana users who have children?
so before I even get started here I would like to state that opposing viewpoints are welcome, as we all have a right to an opinion. HOWEVER, I am not here to debate any issues, rather i am looking for support from like-minded induviduals. I am not here to defend myself to anyone. Please accept and respect that. That being said, I am looking for some sort of online forum or support group for parents who use medicinal marijuana and also have children to parent. Specifically I am looking to hear how other parents have broached the subject, why, when, etc. I am in a very delicate and difficult position with two of my three daughters. I smoke marijuana daily, with doctor's approval, and have done so for about the past ten years. I've suffered from debilitating migraines since I was 9 years old. After being a rebellious teen and taking up pot-smoking, my migraines nearly stopped completely. I went to my regular physician, who'm I've seen since long before the migraines even started, and he agreed with my theory that the pot was helping. Of course my family has always seen marijuana as a drug just as bad as crack or heroine so my use has never been accepted and I've always done my best to hide it, from them. My kids is another story. I feel strongly about the legalization movement and want to do my part by teaching my children the facts so they can break the stigma. I've never denied my usage ti them, nor have I flaunted it, and while I've done my best not to let them see me smoking, they know I do. When they were little it was inappropriate to try and explain the situation to them. Before I had a chance to share my feelings with them when they were old enough, my two eldest became part of the DARE program and their opinions on the subject were formed, regardless of what I had to say. Now they see me as nothing but a criminal addict and refuse to see me unless the visits are supervised. They don't remember when they were babies and I would get a migraine and no matter how much I wanted to take care of them, I simply was too debilitated to the point that I could not move out of my bed in my dark room. They don't remember waiting hours upon hours crying in their cribs needing bottles or diaper changes and their mother being unable to do anything. Since it's been so long since I've even gotten a full blown migraine they don't remember the agony that I go through, the agony that lasts for a minimum of 18 hours. Anyone find themselves in similar situations? Anyone know where I can find other parents like me?? Thanks! moreTop Stop Smoking Program Links
