Open Question: Advice on Soul silver Team!?
Hey everyone I was wondering if I could get some feedback on my team, Post what you think and feel free to make suggestions!
Mewtwo - 83 - Brave - Psycho Cut, Me First, Psychic, Blizzard.
Metagross - 62 - Lonely - Zen Headbutt, Hammer Arm, Meteor Mash, Psychic.
Gengar - 79 - Lonely - Shadow Ball, Hypnosis, Focus Blast, Hyper Beam.
Jolteon - 89 - Timid - Magnet Rise, Thunder, Signal Beam, Thunderbolt.
Vaporeon - 88 - Mild - Hydro Pump, Surf, Waterfall, Brine.
Magmortar - 73 - Sassy - Focus Blast, Rock Climb, Confuse Ray, Fire Blast.
I kind of want to replace Mewtwo, I would rather not have any Legendary Pokemon in the team. Also something good that knows fly would be nice. Thanks! Also feel free to suggest new Pokemon and who I should switch them out with!
moreOpen Question: team help? pokemon soulsilver?
Ok i am getting into a bit of a mess with my pokemon team i was gonna use this
Salamence (e.v trained att, speed)
Nature: jolly or adamant
Dragon rage
Earthquake
Dragon claw
Brick break/rock slide/flamethrower
Lucario (e.v trained att, speed)
Nature: jolly or adamant
Sword Dance
Crunch
Close Combat
Thunder punch
Milotic (ev hp, def, bit spec att)
Nature: bold
Recover
Surf
Ice beam
Hypnosis
Tyranitar (ev att, bit in hp, speed, def)
Nature: adamant
Earthquake
Rock slide
Crunch
Iron defence
Typhlosion (ev hp, spec att, speed)
Nature: modest
Eruption
Flamethrower
Focus punch
Hidden power (grass)
Gardevior (ev hp, def, ev speed)
Nature: modest
Psychic
Calm mind
Thunderbolt/chadow ball
Hypnosis/will-o-wisp/ destiny bond
but if i look back my team is 3 physical sweepers, 1 wall, 1 support and 1 special sweeper.
This is not right clearly and also my friend told me that Typhlosion is rubbish.
I was thinking of also using Togekiss, cresselia and Metagross. Could i make metagross a wall pokemon or is he only a physical attacker.
2 Should i keep Typhlosion
3. what should i add or take out or should i change for example lucario into a special sweeper to sort out my teeam.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and sorry for the lengthly question. Thanks typo on dragon rage... my bad, and i agree with rock slide, thanks. I have 2 questions now
1 out of the pokemon i have said how would u distribute them as in physical sweeper and stuff, as this i my main problem and what 6 pokemon would u use.
2 if i use Gardevoir what last move out of Hypnosis/will-o-wisp/ destiny bond would be best.
3. u said about salamance using flamethrower but thats a special attack is there and physical ones like fire punch he can learn or was that the point?
Thanks already for the great replies i have almost sorted it out just continually tweaking for better or for worse.
moreOpen Question: Gardevoir movest help pokemon soulsilver?
I think i have desided to go with the special sweeper set up so modest nature and ev's in spec att and speed (could change though).
My moves are where i am not sure where to go what do u think
Calm mind
Psychic
Shadow ball/thunderbolt
Hypnosis/ will-o-wisp/ destiny bond
I am not sure what out of the last 2 i might play a bit competitively so i was thinking destiny bond if all goes wrong i have lost nothing as i take them down with me, hypnosis is good but with 60 acc i am not sure, lastly is will-o-wisp that good? I can't make up my mind and if possible could u explain your answer so i know why i am also open to other options.
Thanks in advance
moreOpen Question: Chansey that knows Counter in Pokemon Silver? And rate my party?
I'm playing Pokemon Silver (not Soul Silver, but the original Silver Version) and, in the future, i want to raise a Chansey that has a move set like
Softboiled
Counter
Seismic toss
(I'm not sure what other move to have)
is there a way to get Chansey to learn Counter, by means of breeding?
also, rate my Pokemon team?
Quagsire, level 35
Slam
Surf
Water Gun (I will change to Hydro Pump)
Earthquake
Feraligatr, Level 32
Surf
Ice Punch
Bite
Scratch (I will change to Hydro Pump)
Ampharos, Level 33
Thunderpunch
Thundershock
Tackle
Thunderwave
Haunter, Level 34
Shadow Ball
Hypnosis
Lick (I will change to Nightmare)
Confuse Ray
Jynx, Level 22
Lick (I will change to Psychic)
Lovely Kiss
Powder Snow(I will change to Dream Eater)
Ice Punch
What Pokemon should I have for my Last Pokemon?
What other moves should I teach to my Pokemon?
Is this a legitimate team?
And is there a way to breed the move Counter to a Chansey? I'll even do long Breeding chains
Thank you.

moreVoting Question: If pokemon came to Earth and there was a war against them and us which one would....(info)?
..be the toughest to beat with our weapons, tanks, planes etc?
I think Psychic types and especially Lunatone(yes Lunatone) because she is part rock too so it has good defense..Also it can levitate and that makes it so much tougher to capture or defeat..With only these four moves it would be unbeatable..Hypnosis,light screen,reflect,psychic....your thought..
PS. No legendaries

moreVoting Question: What do you think of my Pokemon Heart Gold Team/Squad?
hi all these are lv 100 and i like my current squad but im a little unsure on the moves they know as they have been beaten more than a few times in the battle frontier so im wondering if i have the wrong move sets or genuinely the wrong pokemon! i tried to vary my party by type and i dont use legendaries so often cause i think it makes the game too easy so here goes:
1. Alakazam - energy ball, psychic, focus blast, shadow ball
2. Gengar - shadow ball, hypnosis, dream eater, thunderbolt
3. ampharos - thunder, signal beam, power gem, discharge
4. typhlosion - eruption, flamethrower, double edge, lava plume
5. vaporeon - hydro pump, muddy water, surf, ice beam
6. golem - earthquake, stone edge, explosion, double edge
im looking for improvements on typhlosion, vaporeon and ampharos mainly, i may replace golem with snorlax or rhyperior and i may replace ampharos with electivire or magnezone. could you recommend some good moves and any changes you'd make to the ones i currently have. many thanks and if anyone tells me to get a life or grow up and stop playing pokemon i dont care what you have to say so dont bother..

These are their natures and movesets
Heatran-item-Choice Scarf-Rash

Luxray-item-life orb-Naughty

Torterra-item-leftovers-Adamant
Wood Hammer, Earthquake, Stone Edge, Giga Drain
Starmie-item-mystic water-Timid
Psychic, hydro pump, thunderbolt, ice beam
I was thinking heatran because of the moveset, but i'm not totally sure of it. Also, is there anything i need to change in the team i already have? And don't say pokemon is gay, and for children.

I think my team is pretty good. I've won most of my battles, but a lot of people say i'm really lucky because my team's actually not that balanced. I didn't think it had any weaknesses.
Please don't say that pokemon is gay, and for young children. Also don't give me a short answer like yes or no. I would like a detailed answer explaining weaknesses, changes in movesets (if needed), and other details.
Thank you :)
moreResolved Question: Rate My Pokemon Team?
This is a team i think im going to try out for fun. I call it the rest team. The strategy is to have my pokemon attack. and then when the hp is low (they all have hp over 100 base stat), use rest and sub them out. Once all my pokemon are asleep i bring in blissey who uses aromatherapy to wake them all up and i start again.
Blissey-
•Aromatherapy
•Toxic
•Sing/ thunder wave
•Softboiled/ psychic
Blissey is the most important part of this team. Blissey has to last the whole game because of aromatherapy.
Drifblim-
•Rest
•Toxic/ hypnosis/ explosion/ shadow ball
•Explosion/ hypnosis/ toxic/ shadow ball
•Shadow ball/ hypnosis/ toxic/ explosion
i havnt decided how im going to use drifblim. toxic with hypnosis would be nice but explosion gets he job done. Shadow Ball is just another nice STAB move
Rhyperior-
•Earthquake
•Stone edge/ stealth rock
•Substitute/ rest/ avalanche
•Substitute/ rest/ avalanche
I think i might use rhyperior as support. he has high health and if i could get him to use subsitute and then move another pokemon in, it could protect them for a while.
Muk-
•rest
•gunk shot
•explosion
•brick break/ ice punch
muk is for the most part just an attacker.
Tangrowth-
•sleep powder
•rest
•power whip
•earthquake
another heavy hitter. sleep powder is there for the subbed in pokemon not to get attaked
Haryiama-
•toxic
•rest
•close combat
•fire punch/ electric punch/ ice punch
i needed a fighting pokemon and haryiama had the highest health with good stats.
Please rate this team and give suggestions about everything including if u think the rest team idea is good.

lvl 100 crobat item- leftovers

lvl 100 blissey item- leftovers
moveset- wish, ice beam, flamethrower, protect
lvl 100 torterra item- leftovers
moveset-wood hammer, earthquake, stone edge, synthesis
lvl 100 charizard (this is the one i'm not sure about) item- none
moveset- belly drum, substitute, fire punch, earthquake
lvl 100 starmie item- life orb
moveset- hydro pump, thunderbolt, ice beam, recover
lvl 100 luxray item- life orb
moveset- thunderbolt, superpower, crunch, ice fang.
i'm not too sure about the bellyzard, even with a salac berry. I use substitute, kill someone after using belly drum and a move, then die so quickly. I don't like that. I may not even k.o. the poke. And my blissey has ice beam and flame thrower, when other poke have moves with those types. I'm confused with the team. I think i may need a poke with a psychic move and shadow move, maybe even dark too. I was thinking gengar, but i'm not sure what to replace. I do like my team, but i don't know if it's good or not. Could you give me a detailed answer, about how far it can go, wat it can do, things that need to be changed, things that need to be kept, and if it's good or not, because i'm really confused :p
