Resolved Question: what is the purpose and necessity of "Regressing someone mentally" during "Hypnosis?

and i understand that this helps the person to "relive" in their mind..a traumatic time period in their lives where they repressed a great deal of anger or their nervous energy was made very unbalanced .. is it basically getting the person to talk about their past and remember their traumatic time in order to "Reenact" it so to speak to " channel their negative feelings"...such as repressed anger etc? does the person actually feel as ugly and as angry as they did at THAT time? again, why is age regression needed and does the person actually become "Crazy" or enraged or cry or what? how hypnosis allows this to be done differently or how therapist are said to control person if they do become very upset again? also, which emotions are most often "Repressed" and why? how persons brain and nerves change when "rechanneling" this negative energy again? and can most people do this quite easily? which reasons someone cant? please explain thanks for your answers! more

Resolved Question: is it normal with S.A. PTSD to experience.. err.. i guess perceptual 'regression'?

i have PTSD from sustained sexual abuse as a girl. usually as flashbacks and phobias. ive been incredibly ill lately for other things but every so often i go through these phases of thinking like i used to when i was a child.. that all i could hope to achieve in life is to be used and i should accept it, and my self esteem will disappear not understanding that that kinda interaction wasnt normal.. and then ill come out of it, and itll be real confusing. sometimes i go through panicked/aggressive states that last for maybe couple days of accusing my friends (sometimes in person, sometimes just to myself) of abusing me, conspiring (i have paranoia anyway), and then breaking down and asking them to rape me cause they 'may as well'.. naturally very freaky for everybody, and then i stop feeling like this and it just makes no sense at all. though when i was a teen i put myself in danger all the time like that, on purpose, and i felt like that *all the time*. i thought id gotten past this Conditioning years ago.. so.. i dont know, i dont understand why its coming back like nothing has changed =/ i dont want to talk to my parents about this as they dont know any of what happened anyway. but its getting harder and harder to deal with men, sex, particularly smells of like cologne etc, am i just breaking down or something? is it usual to relapse this badly-? more

Resolved Question: universal relationship or principle for truth seekers?

do you believe what you give out comes back to you From my research and inspiration I have led to a concept called karma and this seems to be the only thing stopping us from achieving , health wealth and happiness Karma therapy One of the most powerful allies to any person is to know about karma therapy for if you understand this you can even Avoid getting health wealth happiness problems Or if you currently have problems in those areas Give you the most effective tool, which I have come across to help you alleviate them. This is the tool The value of giving Putting something or some service into society is one of the most transforming tools with which we all benefit . The value of it is much higher than we can possibly know and it should be included as part of everyone’s health program. The giver may ask how will helping others help my health and me! That is a very good question, which is very worthy of a serious amount of thought. This touches on the concept which is called karma . For if one truly wants to live with the great allies of Health, wealth, happiness, Love and all those effects which one values one should really understand this concept. It is the only thing, which explains the apparent randomness of the effects, which come upon people. Effects are all aspects of health, Wealth, Richness, [note these two are separate] Happiness etc. What is karma? Put simply it is the law of cause and effect. Or put as another way as you sow so shall you reap, or what goes around comes around. What do we mean by sowing? Simply every action or deed you do causes an effect and every thought causes an effect. So if you have sown good deeds as in helping others, being of service, giving love and Kindness for lengthy periods of time you can expect to reap those seeds. Alternatively if we have sown other deeds and thoughts of a hurtful nature we can expect problems of one nature or another to beset us. Edgar Cayce frequently mentioned in treating disease that we were working against karma and frequently told people that they would get well faster by helping others. Ah you may say why is it that babies are sometimes born with so many impediments; they have not sown wrongful acts. Yes they have not in this lifetime but what about their previous lives as in reincarnation. You may not wish to go into this subject at this time but there are millions of references to it, some in the bible and a lot of eastern religions, some people can actually remember their past lives. There is now even past life regression therapy used in hypnosis to treat phobias, which are not connected with this lifetime. What do you think these statements mean taken out of the bible John5:5-14 When Jesus discovered a man who had been ill for thirty eight years . On curing him Jesus said to the man.’Behold you have become well; do not sin anymore so that nothing worse may befall you’ This clearly indicates that by implication of his statement that this mans troubles were caused by breaking the law of karma. Matthew 9;2 And behold they were bringing to him a paralytic, lying on a bed and Jesus seeing their faith said to the paralytic “Take courage, my son your sins are forgiven” Mathew 12:36 And I say to you that every careless word that men shall speak, they shall render account for it in the day of judgment for by your words you shall be justified and by your words you shall be condemned. Causes and effects met in the way of an eye for an eye - from Edgar cayce research People Suffering Asthma Pressed the life out of others People Suffering BlindnessBlinded captives with red hot irons People Suffering ParalysisInjured others so they could barely walk People Suffering Anaemia Shed others blood Racial bigotAs a galley slave he was beaten to death by a negro master People Suffering Cancer Laughed at Christians being torn apart by wild animals People Suffering life as Paraplegic- As a Roman soldier – made light of others suffering People Suffering Poverty Abused others-Impoverished others Suffering Repeated disappointmentsDisappointed others A woman who was wary of menDeserted by husband in the crusades People Suffering ClaustrophobiaBuried alive People Suffering Choking spasmsstrangled others to death People Suffering Mental illness Practised Withcraft, Black magic All illness suffered now is the result of sin sown earlier Edgar cayce says ,this applies to wealth and happiness as well apparently Now we can meet our karma in two ways the first as in an eye for an eye, which means reaping in the exactly the same way as we have done. This is outlined above from the Edgar cayce research We see this method being enacted each day mostly on the news, as calamity after calamity is portrayed to us . death hunger disease torture homelessness it is very painful to see and to feel. Resolved Question: Why regression therapy of seeing past lived ....is not so popular?

It also helps people in knowing the cause of their present life pains and also helps in wiping it out.Though Its easiest way of experiencing life beyond body. A book "many lives many masters" by a living American Psychiatric is an excellent compilation of experiences with his patients, who underwent regression process. It also helps people in knowing the cause of their present life pains and also helps in wiping it out.I have a met many friends who underwent this process. Only few were able to cross the barrier of this life and they shared their stories.Every fraud follows a truth, which exists.I have a met many friends who underwent this process. Only few were able to cross the barrier of this life and they shared their stories.I appreciate people comments who donot believe in it, as they have no direct experience of it. more

Resolved Question: Do you believe in reincarnation? Did you experience a past-life event? Would you undergo a regression session?

Thanks!Professor Ian Stevenson, from University of Virginia, spent over 40 years devoted to studying children who spoken about a past life. In each case, he methodically documented the child's statements. Then he identified the deceased person the child identified with. Verified facts of the person's life which matched the child's memory. He also identified birthmarks, wounds and scars on the deceased, through medical records and autopsy photographs. In a fairly typical case, a boy in Beirut spoke of being a 25-year-old mechanic, who died from a speeding car crash. According to multiple witnesses, the boy provided the name of the driver, the exact location of the crash, the names of the mechanic's sisters, parents, cousins and the people he went hunting with. All of which turned out to match the life of a man who had died several years before the boy was born, and who had no apparent connection to the boy's family. Many investigated into the matter and believe that it's a legitimate phenomenon. But it's compelling evidence's usually ignored by the scientific community. Skeptics argument that claims of evidence originate from selective thinking and false memories that often result from one's own belief system and basic fears, and thus cannot be counted as empirical evidence. An obvious objection to reincarnation is that there's no physical evidence of a process by which one could survive death and travel to another body. However reasonable to be skeptical of such claims, objectionists criticism is more an argument of personal incredulity far from scientific proof. And have yet to alternatively explain how 3year olds acquired such knowledge! So why don't we all experience this sort of memories? Scholars argument that not all people reincarnate and most of us don't have memorable deaths. The vast majority of cases investigated involved people who had met some sort of violent or untimely death.I believe that like God and heaven we don't need to see to believe they exist, so if we can justify believing in those despite “evidence” then we cannot reasonably suggest that the notion of past life and reincarnation are ridiculous and senseless, it's all question of faith! I do agree however that one should be very careful when it comes to regression. If there's nothing wrong I see no need to do it. Especially if it's just out of curiosity. But if you feel that you need to then be shore to look into the professionals background. There are mis-intentioned people who'd try to take advantage of a situation like this. Any way, I personally respect all view. In truth there are no right or wrong answers just different opinions. That's why I'm submitting the question for community vote. So thank you for your precious time on shearing all your wonderful ideas with me! Xxxxxxx Alley more

Resolved Question: Can I re-open a question with a new slant?

The original question was can we experience past lives through hypno-regression. I would reply yes but not neccessarily our own. So my question is how would you know if you are remembering what happened to you in a past life, or if you were tuning in to someone else's experience? Witness the fact that most seem to remember exciting or important or dramatic lives, not humdrum ones! Maybe these lives leave a stronger memory behind and are easier to pick up, like a strong radio signal? Can anyone say for sure how you would distinguish?Well I I believed we're body, soul and Spirit, the soul mediating between body and Spirit. That the way to achieve expanded consciousness is by strengthening ordinary consciousness through our own personal effort, not by allowing it to be dimmed and manipulated by another. Working on the understanding that all thought, once created, continues to exist, therefore whatever someone thought about in their lifetime can be 'read' by one who has so expanded and raised their consciousness as to be able to become aware of these thought records. It can be done, has been done, so as I would personally not get involved with hypnosis I genuinely wondered if the practitioners and clients actually have a way to verify that it is their own memory resurfacing and not a reading in what is known generally as the Akashic Record. It appears that you have, though this seems less certain if you didn't even know the Akashic Record exists? I'd still like to know how you can tell? more

Resolved Question: Do you believe hypno regression makes it possible to experience past lives?

I am certain you can use this to re examine earlier events in your life, but not so sure about this being used to experience past lives.
