Resolved Question: Im starting a career in stage hypnosis, and want to protect my identity with a disguise?
I've been learning stage hypnosis for a long time, and feel like Im finally ready to start doing stage hypnosis shows. I wanna protect my privacy, and don't wanna be bugged by crazy fans or stalkers. Im not gonna use my real name, Im gonna use a stage name but Im also gonna wear a disguise so someone I know doesn't go hey I know that guy and my name gets around as a hypnotist and my name is online and everywhere. I am gonna get a fake beard, and was possibly a fake wig. Do you think that you would recognize a guy you knew who had a fake beard on? Any good disguise ideas?

Hey everyone and thanks for looking at my question. I am very well versed and I have learnt from many videos and books and ahve hypnotised several people around my school and different friends. I am just wondering if I need to be certified in some way to actually perform stage shows. Is it legal for me to just start doing them? of course I wont be doing hypnotherapy or regression but rather just standard fun hypnosis suggestions. Just curious on what the policy is thanks guys.

A few questions about stage hypnosis.
I saw one last night - so most of these questions are based on a show by Tina Marie and Mark Yuzuik (I think).
1. The main hypnotist (Mark) after the induction, would give them suggestions and then make them do their jig. After that, when it was time for the next thing, he would tap them on their forehead... and 'click!' they were back in deep sleep. What is the forehead tapping... how does it work?
2. He had a girl tap her own forehead and she fell in trance too. Real? How?
3. Is it safe - can you fall under and not come out.. or is it just like sleeping?
4. Where can one learn true stage hypnosis? There's tons of bolagne out on the web...
5. Speaking of bolagne, he had a girl sing the oscar meyer song....
In japanese, and we are in America, and she defintly was not multlingual, she was like 16-17

Hubbard himself was an accomplished hypnotist, and tried to pretend he wasn't still using it in dianetics and scientology, but he was - and he's been found out.Hypnotists and those who use suggestion can quite readily see the parallels in scientology practices. You don't and so can't.
Did you know that dianetics is simple memory regression therapy rewritten by Hubbard, its a pyschiatric procedure that was endorsed even by freud. Hubbard was a fraud.Wiki may be added to by the public but it is moderated and everything stated as fact has to be properly evidenced and is reviewed on a regular basis.
Try to change those pages yourself for example without backing it up with evidence...Of course Hubbard didn't want you to know this!!!
Without it his con wouldn't work...I don't think theirs anything 'gentle' about it, and rather than 'persuasion', I would use 'suggestion' or just plain ol' mind control.
