Hi. I cant stand how unconfident i am. its rediculous. The one thing i cant stand is that i always go red. whenever someone talks to me i go bright red and i feel so stupid. Whenever i feel that im going red, i automatically stop what im saying and leave the room to 'answer my mobile'. Im getting so miserable about it,and i really dont know what to do to stop it. I went to a counsellor about it, and she gave me tapes that were suppose to relax me and make me feel more confident, but they really didnt work at all, and i still feel exactly the same now as when i went to see her. I heard about hypnotism - and how a hypnotherapist can help. has anyone been hypnotised because of their confidence? xxx more

ok im suffering from severe anxiety and its effecting my life. i get very anxious and it makes me feel sick in my throat. it feels like there is something there. its not sore, just very horrible. it makes me have to drink lots of lemonade, if i drink water it makes it worse. it so horrible im having trouble going to school. when i go to school i go into a support room which isn't helping that much. i have tried herbal medicine. that doesn't work. im trying hypnotism that works at the time but the following week is bad. i had a major break down today and its terrible. please please help me. thanks So much. brianna.i get anxios about going to school. more

For example, when using persuasion, appealing to logic and reasoning and/or intuition. Now, brainwashing is just a part of society; everybody in the world is brainwashed into behaving the way they do and of their sense of right and wrong in a civilised society. But, are propaganda and manipulation forms of hypnotism? Also, even pretending that you are an expert in a topic by using false technical terms, for example, when talking about Biology, using a made-up word such as 'naricerous' when describing something. What I have found this does is make people believe that you know what you are talking about, as the word sounds like it comes from Latin, although the word doesn't exist! But, is also doing this a form of hypnotism to gullible people? more

Voting Question: How to stop face from turning red?

For a few years now I have had this problem and it holds me back so much. I want to be able to go in front of the class and present or to even be able to join in on class discussions, but I am never able to because my face always turns beet red. And not just my cheeks, but my forehead and nose and my entire face pretty much! :( Even if I am just talking to my friends my face turns red. When they ask me why my face is turning red, I turn even redder. Question 1: Would hypnotism or talking to a psychologist help, or would it just be a waste of my money? Question 2: So are there any natural ways to stop this? And deep breaths haven't worked for me so far. Question 3: My face turns especially red if guys talk to me, and everyone says "Oh, guys think its cute when girls turn red." But is that true? It seems unlikely to me. Thanks :) more

I know that guys and girls experience orgasms differently, so this question is for women only please. My girlfriend has been practicing hypnotism on me during foreplay and I noticed that the sensation of me being in a hypnotic trance and the feeling I get during and after orgasm feels very similar. I don't know how to describe it, except to say that I'm absolutely calm and emotionless, but very blissful. Does anyone else feel this way? I mentioned this to my girlfriend (who is a brainiac, she reads everything!) and she told me that it's because during orgasm, the parts of our brain that controls our emotions and behavior shuts down and we ARE in a trance like state, much like if we were hypnotized. So that got me thinking...like during or post orgasm, when your girlfriend tells you that she loves your or that you belong to her, is she like, subliminally programming you to love her even more? I have been always interested in this subject for a month now ever since this so-called "crazy idea" popped into my head. So I decided to research it a little more. I'm still trying to decide what course to download because one of them was $47 and the other was $136. But, however, just to let you know, I am a 15 year old struggling to keep my life balanced by surviving my freshman year in high school, dealing with my parents who yell at me every day(which is annoying) because they want me to get all A's, but it's impossible for me because school is difficult for me. Also, I don't have that many friends and everyone in my grade don't even know me that well, and overall, my life is not what I want it to be, and I think learning hypnotism will make my life a lot better. Plus, some of the people in school make fun of me and I am really sick of it. I know I sound like a complete idiot and hypnotizing someone instantly is stupid, but I think it might help me. Basically, what I'm trying to say is, I have always been interested in how the mind works and so I want to make more friends and even get a girlfriend( I had 2, but they broke up with me) so I won't be so lonely all my life. Does this sound to intense for a Children's book (well not Children's book, like Tween/Teen) about a human girl moving to Romania, the place that used to be Transylvania and finds out about Vampires and gets bitten and transforms? This is a scene where she is a Vampire and she is in class. I find it hard to concentrate, if i were still human my heart would be racing but instead i am trying to control my eyes with anger, or is it boredom? i have my hood up and Sunlight proof gloves. why must my seat be placed in front of the window? Everyone is gasping and drinking water from under their desks while i am thirsty . . . not dehydrated. i am biting my lip with my fangs and hiding it with my upper lip as i try to work. Suddenly i hear a slight drip drip and my bloodthirst goes out of control. i stiffen, still biting my lip, i look to the side and i see the overweight kid has a blood nose. Luckily, Gen puts her hand on my should and i bite harder, and i close my eyes. after another five seconds i am releived. i look inside the glass on the table, and feel sad when i don't see my face. Normal Vampiric traits, Allergies. Burn in Sunlight Fangs Choke or Burn with Garlic die with a stake through the heart (that could kill anyone.) Pale Skin No Reflection Taste and love for blood. Mostly Noctornal (Don't go out in sunlight) Shape Shifting into Bat. Powers (Flying, Hypnotism) Have i missed any? My Vampires (All of the above.) Once bitten they will have Pale Skin, gut to not go out in sunlight, gut to not eat any Garlic based meals or anything containing Garlic, stay up all night, do not go to sleep until the sun comes up. They still have reflection and they don't have Fangs, powers, shapeshifting, in dream they will get visited by a bat and tell them what they are and what night they must go out to be annointed. Once Annointed (placed in front of mirror, have blood poured over them see their Vampiric self and these change into full Vampire, and then they have no reflection. Hey All! Bit of a long one here, bear with me... On New Years Eve after a hearty night of celebrating I was on my way to the store to pick up a pack of cigarettes. On my way to the store I came across a domestic incident where a drunken idiot was manhandling his woman. I decided to step in. After that point I remember absolutely nothing about the altercation itself. The next thing I remember was wrestling him to the ground and standing over him... I was bleeding from my nose, so clearly I got popped during the incident. The thing is I don't remember any part of the fight... Just the lead up and the very end. I was drunk, but I remember the rest of the evening very clearly... just not the details of the fight itself. I am NOT a blackout drunk at all... After subduing the guy I continued on my way to get my smokes, which is where the police found me and brought me back to the scene... The guy was still laying in the street being helped by a paramedic and another officer. Upon hearing witness accounts of how the fight started, in regards to the domestic abuse...the lady cop that responded to the incident did me a favour and told me to run away. She didn't want to see me get charged for helping out a young lady in that situation... But what scares me is that I think I might have hurt the guy kind of bad... but I don't know for sure because I can't remember what occurred before I got him to the ground. This concerns me because I am not a violent person... I've been in one or two fights in my life, but I do not generally get into fights at all... I would however like to know what I did to this guy so I know what I am capable of if I ever enter such a state again... My lack of any memory of it, and the state he was in after the fight really scares me. I don't know if it was blind rage or what... or if I could enter such a state again... more importantly, what am I capable of doing to someone in such a state... I am a peace loving person and would never want to hurt anyone like that, intentionally or otherwise... I really want to, and think I need to, remember the events of that fight. Resolved Question: Trying to find a title of a horror/thriller novel?

I recall reading this about 15 years ago, borrowing it from the local library. I believe the title had the word "sister" in it. What it was about was a woman, who's identical twin sister died under mysterious circumstances, I think she fell over the balcony of a hotel. She later finds out that her sister was seeing a psychologist or psychiatrist who uses hypnotism to discover that she was abused as a child by their parents. The surviving sister is puzzled by this as she has a very different memory of their childhood and doesn't believe her parents capable. What she later discovers is that the psychiatrist has planted these memories in her, and has some how transferred is mind to hers, using her body of indecent acts when she is asleep. She later discovers that the psychiatrist has a deformed twin brother who never grew, is deaf, dumb and blind and that he is the mastermind behind this, transferring his mind into his brothers. I guess you would call this novel a supernatural horror. I can not for the life of me recall the title and I have been searching for it. Can someone help me? more

A few days ago, I decided to do a Google search on hypnotism. The first link I clicked on, I will never forget. There was this guy who posted an article about how he used a hypnotic technique or pattern to hypnotize a waitress. The story starts when the guy(whose name is Marc Savage)went with a group of friends to a restaurant. Then, the waitress came over to their table and asked, "Would you guys like something to drink?" After that, Marc used some kind of hypnotic technique to change her mind so he and his friends wouldn't have to pay for the drinks. A second later, the waitress was dazed, and said, "You know what, I'll buy you guys drinks." And the story ends there. Pretty interesting, isn't it? Now you see how this story inspires me to be a hypnotist just like Marc. So, are there any good sites that will teach me how to do the technique that Marc did, or am I supposed to download a hypnosis course(any free courses, if possible)? more

A friend of mine got hypnotized for quitting smoking. She said it actually worked - to my surprise she has infact quit smoking!! I am VERY skeptical about hypnotism. Do you think it works or is it the power of suggestion or someting? Apparently what a hypnotist does is put you in a dream like state kind of like that lucid state you have just before you wake up in the morning - an in that state you are very relaxed but also hyper concentrated - thats why ppl claim to rememver lots of stuff about the past when hypnotized. What do you think? more
