Resolved Question: why only two 5 min breaks in 4 hours? should i believe him?
my boyfriend has gone to london for 3 days for a hypnotherapy course/seminar and he promised he would text me on his breaks, he didnt text me for 4 hours so i thought he must of had a break by now, so i rang him and he said he has only had two 5 minute breaks and he has another hour to wait before his dinner. i wanted him to text me on his breaks to see how hes getting on because he is there on his own, and i have anxiety so i worry about everything. why would he only have two 5min breaks in 4 hours? moreResolved Question: should i believe my boyfriend when he just told me this?

Alright so I have decided I want to try hypnotherapy. I am a little nervous because people say you either can or can’t be hypnotized and I’m pretty sure I can be hypnotized because I want to be hypnotized. See if you don’t want to then you can’t right? But if you want to then you will because you are open to the experience. Also the other reason I am nervous is because I don’t want to, well, get a quack, for lack of better term. And I really have no idea what to expect. I’ve read up on hypnotism and you wont end up barking like a dog just be in this relaxed state, almost like sleep but not, I think. My Uncles wife once attended a hypnotherapy seminar to quit smoking and she says she’s never had a cigarette since, and it was a group of like 300 people. I live in San Jose California and if anyone knows of a licensed hypnotherapist that works well or have personal experience that would be great if you shared!! I don't believe in hypnosis. Although I have had many people insist it was entirely real, I have yet to have much fulfilling proof. Certainly, I believe that the human mind is capable of great things, such as blocking the pain from surgury or speeding recovery. However, I doubt that hypnotism and hypnosis as therapy are useful except to people who already believe these things will help them. In the same way that people who are taking a sugar pill get better faster, so too do people who seek out hypnotherapy recover. Even licensed and trained hypnotherapists only have to fulfill a 3-day training course to get certified, and every school that teaches hypnosis I have located also offers courses in other bullshit such as "Communicating with Angels" and "Divination". Has anyone actually been hypnotized? Does anyone else think it's BS? In a few weeks I'm attending a seminar on hypnosis, and I need to have some idea as to whether I'm going to need to be faking things the whole time! moreTop Hypnotherapy Seminars Links
