Open Question: I need a job and can seem to get one?

Ok I need people to answer this seriously. I had to drop out of college because my father died and I lost my financial aid due to missing school for my hyperthyroidism and my dad brought a car web we didn't have one so they could get me to school. But because he did that, they took away half my aid. I can't go to any college or school trade or vocational or otherwise because I cannot afford it. I'm also ineligible for any student or financial aid because I've defaulted on my loans. I've been job searching since 2009. Since I don't have a degree or reliable transportation. I haven't had much luck. I live in Pittsburgh Pa, the bus service just cut more routes, raised the price to $4 a ride. And the closet stop for me is 30mins away and that's walking distance. I applied o McDonalds, KFC, Popeyes, Mom & Pop stores, Gas stations & stores like CVS & Rite Aid all twice each they all either ignored me, told me they don't hire my kind or said I was too educated for the job. I applied to grocery stores, and places like Macy's JCPennys, and other department stores and I still get nothing. Posted my resume all over the web last week and only opportunities I got was working for a company that's 2hrs away from my home and an internship that I need to work for a year and then I might get paid $500. I don't have experience and people have told me the place I have worked at aren't good enough as an employment history reference. So No job = No Money No money = no bus fare, jitney fare, any transportation fare, no college, and unpaid student loans No college degree = no job = no money So how do I fix this?? I live in a horrible community and even the people here only want free services. I refuse to babysit someone's kid and they won't come back for it or pay me. Same goes to chores. If I could I would go and apply to a bunch of jobs but I don't have reliable transportation and some jobs have told me not to apply. Some went so far to say if I didn't have a drivers license and a car and insurance and stuff I wasn't allowed to apply. I've looked on careerlink, monster, job.com and I've been looking on Craigslist and backpage since January 2012. So what's the issue?? Is it because people assume I'm black and I'll steal?? Is it because I dot have a degree and experience so I'm useless?? Or could it be I come from a bad neighborhood, I don't have reliable transportation and I owe student loans which makes me a bad person?? All I'm asking is how to fix this. I don't even have a bank account haven't had one in over two years that's how broke I am. The library doesn't have research material, why?? Because society feels blak kids don't want to learn or research—which isn't always the case. If you don't have a good answer or want some points please find another question. Open Question: New keyboard opens default browser when pressing CTRL?

Hi, my keyboard oddly opens a new window of my default browser just by pressing the left CTRL key. I use CTRL a lot for many keyboard shortcuts so I'm wondering if anyones knows what it could be? Things I've done so far: - I checked to make sure my N key wasn't stuck sense CTRL N opens a new browser window. It wasn't stuck. - I downloaded a free keyboard mapping program and installed it, set the keys to default, but my keyboard acts the same. - I tried reinstalling the drivers, I checked if there was no additional keyboard drivers which could interfere. - I tried searching Google, I found a couple people with the same problem but no one was able to help them. - I tried using a different keyboard, and only my new keyboard seems to be doing this. My new kayboard is the only one that works, with an exception to this problem. more

Are there other Drawing Tablets with Display Screens built in? Besides Cintiq? I might save up (for a long time) to get the Cintiq 12WX model. (Not as nice as I'd like, but it's the cheapest.) But was wondering if there would be any alternatives that are pretty good, yet cheaper. Features I'm interested in; *Durability of screen/pen *Screen close to the pen. So as to avoid THINKING I'm going to draw in one spot, only to see the "mark" appear a bit above where I wanted to draw. *Works on Windows Vista or Win7, but doesn't require some sort of expensive program to use. (Such as coming with a default basic program, or works in place of a mouse easily enough, that I could use it in MS paint or Photoshop Elements (Yeah, that's all I have) *Decent resolution, so it's not too blurry when viewing. Features I'm not in need of: *Sensitivity to angle of pen. *Sensitivity to line thickness (Like pressing harder means thicker lines.) *special button/features on the tablet, for macroes. I just turned my computer on and my yahoo messenger popped up by default like all the time and I got a notification from Adobe saying my Flash Player needed an update. So I updated it and after it close and everything I got the following message: "This page provides potentially unsafe information to an ActiveX control.Your current security settings prohibit running controls in this manner. As a result, this page might not display correctly." "http://i41.tinypic.com/345f0vr.png" There is an image of the error message. As you can see, the window for it doesn't say what program is returning the error. It just says "web browser." I am pretty sure I have had a virus recently, as when I open Internet Explorer (yeah I know. I only use it because it is my default gif player and I am too lazy to download another one/switch it to another one) I get prompted by Yahoo toolbar to run out of security mode or w/e for IE. I click "don't ask again" and then I click "don't allow" but then three more windows pop up asking the same thing and I have to do it for all of those again and then it will keep popping up like 1 or 2 windows at a time again. It happened after I downloaded a toolbar which allows me to search from any webpage on a website with several downloadable MP3 files (don't worry, completely legal ones, people) and uninstalled that and it went away, then I downloaded Yahoo messenger and now it does it again, except this time the title of the program asking for permissions is Yahoo Toolbar, rather than previously when it was titled after the MP3 search toolbar. Anyways, back to this error message, I just found, as I was typing this message, I clicked the "show desktop" button and it was gone, then I clicked on Yahoo Messenger to bring it back up and the error message came along with it, so apparently that is what it was pertaining to. Ok i run windows 7 (obviously) and i downloaded Windows Defender HUGE MISTAKE i really need to get rid of it because it wont stop running, i have disabled it through the Services in Computer Management i have disabled it from startup (though it still starts up on startup) and by the way when i do this Windows Defender> Tools> Options i dont get "Administrator" option i get "Automatic Scanning" and default. Please i really really need to get rid of it because it calls everything a virus, minimizes my screens mid sentence and i dont want it PLEASE PLEASE HELP :'( P.S. pleaseread the whole thing i HAVE NO ADMINISTRATOR OPTION and i cant contact microsoft or anything 2 hours ago - 4 days left to answer. Say, you were doing well but a company laid you off/Downsized you from work. Soo, you get no flowing income for awhile.Now let's say our Phone and rent are due soon, so what do you do? Take out one of those cash advance Payday loans. Then after awhile, you still don't have a job due to the fact that you kept listening to a union rep saying you will get another job and it doesn't happen. So now you have a Payday Loan bill, Your Phone, and Your rent do on the 29th of december. Now lte's say days before that, weeks even, you have been trying to apply for personal loans (online and off) and tryiong also to get other payday loans, but do not get approved due to continous applications. When you find some online personal loan sites, you can't get improved for those (which would work wonders if you did) because your credit is to low. So you actually have a chance to get a job interview but your phone is turned off all of a sudden (cell phone). So then, you try looking for loans for bad credit. After hours of searching you eventually find said site that can help you BUT your credit is lower than bad that lower credit sites.places wont give you a loan. Everything else you find is either a scam or will cause something like bankruptcy or related. So now currently, you are running out of time running out of options, everyone is LITERALLY to greedy or self absorbed to give you a cent, you sold what was valuable and what you don;t need and what you have to sell online would take to long to get money for and everything must be paid off my the 29th of december in the afternoon and you probably have only 1 or 2 days after that before your life becomes ruined beyond repair. At this point, now the Phone is threatened to be permanately turned off in a couple days, you hve a job that may call that may not reach you at any minutes, a Paydaloan bill that you couldn't pay and rent due. I need 800 for things to be 0 and at least $450 to delay defaulting on everything on the same time. What solution is there online to get out of this immediately? I don;t know what do do, noone in the family lives near me in the same state, I have nothing to sell, I have no idea what to do and I am completely stuck. Voting Question: How do i get my Realtek HD to play different audio simultaneously?

I remember back when i used XP i could run one music app (itune, browser stream, etc) on my speakers then proceed to change the default playback device to my front jacks with the music still going through my speakers from the rear jacks. Thus allowing me to open another application (such as games) and have the sound come from the front jacks in the game and music playing in the background through my speakers. I currently run win7 and it seems that i cannot perform such operations now. Every time i attempt to change the default device it would mute the other (ie. run music on my speakers then changing to my headsets, the music would stop on my speaker and switch to my headset). I do have the make front and rear output devices playback two different audio streams simultaneously ticked in the realtek hd audio manager's device advance settings. i've searched through various forums and could not find any results to my problem. I could only find people trying to play the SAME audio through back and front jacks together. i hope someone could shed some light on my problem. Need help on how to manually remove a texture mod or uninstall it...I downloaded one because I was new to mods with San Andreas, though I should have looked at the comments for it and such...people said in the comments the uploader didn't include an uninstall ability..only a automatic installation app. I wan't the default back so I can run car mods better. Resolved Question: I need help getting rid of SearchQu.com before I feel the need to start to hurt people?

It seems that some how my computer has Searchqu set up for it default URL search, so if I mistype say google as gogle it will bring up their site. As a Firefox user I hate this and had actually killed it once. Now a few weeks later I find it is back but this time it seems that my solution to correct it will not work this time, last time I used Firefox's about to get into the system and restore to default there. My home pages are okay and viral scans seem to show nothing. Searching my computer for anything named Searchqu also has brought back nothing to destroy. Please help me kill this thing, I am out of ideas of my own.The key thing here is that I am using Firefox so some of the set up is different then Internet explorer. Okay, so the USPS (United States Postal Service) may be risking a default if a deadline is not met by the end of September, and there's rumors going around saying it could possibly be put of business altogether by the year's end if it doesn't somehow pay get rejuvenated by Congress. Here's my question, that interestingly so far I have not found the answer to yet after searching deep for answers on Google: What would happen to the USPS, if it went out of business? What could possibly replace it, if anything? People still send items like birthday cards, bill payments, and even packages through snail mail. Amazon.com, on a lot of shipments, sends their deliveries through the USPS. If it were to go out of business, how would these items usually shipped through traditional snail mail normally handled by the USPS, get to their destinations? Where would you even send these items to get delivered/shipped, if it went out of business? Just something I'm rather curious about.Also, I might add, that I am well aware that people communicate a lot through email these days, and you might say that junk email is the equivalent of junk email. But I'm saying for things that would normally require a snail mail delivery, like say a birthday card with money in it...or a traditional bill payment...how would one deliver/receive those types of things if the USPS were no more? more

hi, i have a htc desire, running the latest android software, not rooted, and a dell vostro 3500 Laptop running windows 7 32bit, now my problem is that htc sync, wont sync my phone's stuff. now i solved this about 4 ,months ago after copying the files from the sd card that came with it to my sd card which i used. i hadn't synced my phone since then or changed anything. only installing apps from the market etc. so when i connect it remembering that i had fixed it, i was so confused as to why it didn't pick it up. in fact, it had reverted right back to the beginning. so as i did before i copied the files to my phones sd card again. to my avail it didn't work. i looked in setting> application> manage apps, and found that htc sync wasn' tamongst them, this really annoyed me because i specifically remember putting it on.and on the other sd card ( the one that came with it) it wasn't there either. whyyyyy! so after searching and searching and discovering Other people in the same situation every technique, every 'solution' it hasn't worked. and htc wasn't much better. for the meanwhile im using myphoneexplorer. this is doing what it should do (yay) but i would prefer htc sync because its the phone default software. ANY HELP PLEASE, and ive also tried copying/updating drivers, copying/pasting to system 32, and none of that works so pleasee dont suggest it :P THANKS x more

My mom didn't approve of the tattoo, and just lectured me about the hazards of Facebook and is saying that the reason I haven't been able to find a job yet is because employers are getting on my Facebook and seeing that I have a tattoo (in a place that's easy to hide) and that I've posted about the last cold or two I've had (because, who wants a "sickly" person working for them?). Voting Question: Why isn't my Google displaying autcomplete suggestions?

I love Yahoo. It's great for asking difficult questions and getting prompt, helpful answers. But Google is my default search engine. Know your role, that's my mantra. Anyway, recently my computer crashed and did a master reset of everything on the hard drive. Since then, whenever I start to type something in the Google toolbar, I don't get the list of predicted search queries that were so prevalent before the crash. A lot of people complain about those, but I've actually found them to be rather helpful. So is there a way to turn them back on? PS: I'm not referring to Google Instant. i know how to change the settings on Google Instant. I'm talking about the dropdown menu that extends from the search bar when you type part of a query. Hello, I have a P67 Sabertooth Mobo with an Intel 2600K Processor and DDR3 1333Mhz G-Skill 2x4Gb CL9 Ram, Seasonic X-650 PSU, HD6950 GPU, Seagate 1TB HDD and Scythe CPU cooler. I am trying to overclock my processor to 4.5Ghz with a Vcore of at least 1.31v. So far I have been unsuccessful. I have been able to do 4.5Ghz at 1.33-5v stable but on most forums I see people stating that 1.3v should be easily achieved. I can boot up with 1.3v at 4.5Ghz with LLC at either high or ultra high and then I run Intel burn test and everything is fine. Suddenly however while I'm surfing the net or playing a game it will BSOD. I have probably spent about 13+ Hours in total fiddling around with settings but still end up with BSOD. It could be that I by chance have a reaaally bad processor although I think it is more likely there is something I am doing wrong. During Intel Burn Test my Vcore goes from 1.312v to as low as 1.288 which is my Vdroop. During idle depending on LLC seting, my Vcore is within +0.01v. Here are some values that I normally change: PLL Overvoltage - Disabled CPU Multiplier - 45 LLC - High or Ultra High Phase Control - Extreme Duty Control - T.Probe Thermal C States - Disabled. Speedstep - Enabled or Disabled Everything else is usually default including RAM settings. I have already done extensive searching on the net and gone over dozens of forums and tutorials but have not found a solution yet. In case you were wondering why I wanted to lower my Vcore, it is so I can produce less heat, increase longevity of processor and to save some power. Feel free to ask any questions for clarification. I have a facebook account where my daughter and son are listed as my "friends". They each have like 7 zillion friends, and all are too young for me. When I pull up the thing to search for friends or pull up the "People you may know", I always end up getting hundreds of people who are "mutual friends" with one of them. Occasionally, I see someone who is not a mutual friend, but they are so sparse within the noise of my kids friends that it's too much of a pain to look through them. You can search by hometown, place of work, etc, but in the friend box, I want to enter "none" or something, but you can only put in someone who is a friend. What I want is a list of people who are not mutual friends, but whatever the default algorithm for finding potential friends. No glitches really. But it goes on my toddlers and kids sometimes by default, and then they look like monsters. Voting Question: Created additional youtube account and now can no longer access youtube at all! Only a Legend can solve this!!?

I have seen several similar questions asked about this on here - all of which found no answer! So who ever can solve this will be a legend! I created an additional youtube account, and the forcefully linked google account that comes with it. Upon completion, the screen froze. So I closed the windows, signed out and back into explorer, searched 'youtube', clicked it, and it would not enter the site - the loading bar freezing half way with a blank white page displaying. At first I didn't take it seriously as I've had no trouble with youtube before. But it soon became clear I had a real problem. So, I know this is my fault at some point or I can't sign in on two devices at once. I just got my Samsung Galaxy Mini/Pop for my graduation and I created my Gmail account on my phone and I never really thought about the password cause I put the remember password setting on my phone (or it automatically saves itself so you can download apps on the market). But to format it wouldn't be my primary solution. Is there any other way I could reset my password, or change the primary Gmail account for my device? Hello. I like the website, I stumbled across it on google and thought I would join. I found it whilst researching for a report i'm writing. Maybe people could possibly return some feedback/feed-forward. Basically, i would like to hear and review other people's conclusion on Face book's Privacy ; such as the implications in the IT industry and the implications to society. My perspective Facebook privacy is required more than anything, what's stopping anyone from saving their image and impersonating that person, nothing. Voting Question: NCO collections down payment?

My husband has a huge student loan that has gone into default. He had not been paying he thought it was still deferred being that he is still a student and they were sending notices to our old address. Now NCO has it and are demanding 2,000 dollars in down payment "as a show of good faith" and we just simply do not have it. We called the original loaner and was told that they cannot make you put money down you just have to make reasonable payments to rehabilitate the loan. So we called NCO and were basically told that they can do what ever they'd like. Called the original place that had the loan again and got a different person and was told that NCO is correct they can do what ever. I've searched online and found several places where people have said that they can not force you to make a down payment as long as you give them a reasonable monthly payment but is there anything that backs that up as fact? We have right at 200$ left over monthly after bills are paid and I will gladly send them that monthly to get us back on track but we cannot come up with 2,000$. I know these people have heard every story and probably have gotten to a point that they just don't care.... but how do you deal with them?I was actually just wondering if that is an option... we just got a letter in the mail today and I am wondering if we send a payment and just continue to do so if they will continue to call and demand 2,000$ or if they would stop being that we are sending them payment. Resolved Question: Cant find games in Black Ops? (X360)?

I can't find games in CoD Black ops. I've been searching for the past 25 minutes and can't find a game. There are 790,000 people online. My NAT is open, Search preferences are on Default (Ive tried all the preferences, none work). When I search any playlist is says "Found 50 Matches. Getting Match quality..." Then it puts me in my own lobby and says "Waiting for 5 more players" and then won't give me any. Sometimes it will give me some, but then it backs them all out right away. My internet is FiOS, 30Mb/s Download 20Mb/s upload. NAT Open, no reason to not find a game. I can find games better with people in my party, but still not good. Whenever I do find a game though, I am almost always in 3/4 Green bar. This started happening within the past week. I used to get games instantly and always be 4/4 green, and usually get host. I don't understand what happened. Internet is still the same, I checked. help?It's been like this for days now. Restarting Xbox doesn't help. more

Ok, some basic info. I'm fifteen, have self harmed since eleven, been to various social workers/councillers but nothing really has helped. Had a happyish childhood and theres no major reasons for me to feel this way. I've always felt a bit 'different' or 'off' or something, i found it hard to relate to people my age and had to tune myself in to be the same. Although i didn't actually start to feel unhappy until sometime around the age of thirteen. It wasn't bad at the start i just felt unhappy from time to time. Has gradually increased, now at least once per day i will feel really low. When i say low i'm not speaking of the way you feel when someone passes away or just generally feeling sad. Its feels as though i've lost all energy, a bit numb but deeper down just painful. I don't exactly feel the will to lift myself from the mood, i'd probably rather just lay and think of suicide/self harm. It seems to be my default mood, like things can distract me or i can forget and temporarily feel normal again but i'm always sure once i'm left alone it will come back. The thought of suicide seriously is probably the only thing that can spark excitement or some kind of a good feeling when i feel this way. I've fantisised about it over and over again, and i'm sure it will come some day, although i try to block out these thoughts, it just makes it worse. I've found myself out with my friends(which i love, i really enjoy socialising as it does the distraction thing very well) but instead of actually participating in things they are doing or talking about, this feeling will come, and i completley blank whatever is going on around me and begin to think of ways i could sneak off, find a bottle and self harm. People are starting to notice and i've got comments such as 'did you forget to take your anti-depressants today or something, your depressed as fuck' from people i've only known for a few hours. What worries me is it never used to be like this when i was with my friends, only when i'm alone. It seems to be more frequent now and its only getting worse. Other things. I've got a fascination with drugs, i am continually searching for them, the harder, the better. I am extremely impulsive. I've gotten about 9 piercings for no particular reason other than i felt i needed too, they never lasted more than a day when i decided i didnt want them anymore, i dont even like piercings. I can be irritable and very very impatient. I make up strange ideas then feel the need to carry them out. I'm sure you get the point. I've never been in another fifteen year olds head but i'm pretty sure they dont feel like this. I'm reckless and can't see consequences which useually gets me into terrible scenarios. I really dont know what to do anymore, i know people are going to say 'go to your doctor' but i have, and they dont seem to listen. Medication will only take away me, i don't want to feel this way but i dont want to lose myself either. Which i'm sure is inevitable. Please help. more

Ok..this is going to sound weird, probably since most people want the opposite. I have friends all over the country. An old friend of mine called me the other day saying he has been looking for me on facebook but can't find me, even when he typed in my name and city I lived in. My profile is private, the only thing people who are not my friend can see is my default pic, name, and the city I live in and where I'm from [[ i have that set like that so my distant friends can find me ]], but that doesn't seem to work. I checked my settings and I am search-able and my cities are viewable to everyone. Out of curiosity I made a fake page and in the fake page i set it to say i live in Houston, Tx [[that is where a lot of my friends are]] and I am not pulling up at all. Does anyone know why or how I can make me more search-able. Okay so I followed this from another yahoo answer: There are never any guarantees in malware fighting, but here's my best shot at a generic removal procedure: First, boot into Safe Mode With Networking. (See below for details.) That sometimes keeps malware from protecting itself. Then, if you have an anti-virus, make sure it has the latest virus definitions and run a full scan with it. If you don’t have one, many people here swear by Malwarebytes (it’s free). I suggest you also download Ad-Aware Free and Spybot S&D (they’re free), install them, update them and run full scans with them in Safe Mode With Networking. Also, turn off System Restore to evict any copies of bad stuff that might be lurking there. To get into Safe Mode with Networking: 1. Log out and reboot your machine. 2. When the machine starts the reboot sequence, press the F8 key repeatedly. 3. Select Safe Mode with Networking from the resulting menu. 4. Login. If the malware has changed your password, try logging in as Administrator. By default, Administrator has no password. 5. The machine will continue booting, but the Windows desktop will look different. 6. When you're finished doing what you need to do, log out and reboot back into normal mode. Another trick that may enable anti-malware and/or its installer program to sneak past the malware is to change the name of the anti-malware program itself. The names of the files and their locations differ between anti-malware programs, but the procedure is always the same: 1. In Windows Explorer, find the folder with the anti-malware. 2. Change the name of the program (it always ends with a .exe) to virtually anything else, but keep the “.exe” part. 3. Run that. Note that even if the anti-malware programs get rid of the malware, they may not be able to reverse the effects. Search the Web for possible fixes. Update and run full scans regularly, not just when you think you already have malware. Good luck. Note: There ARE free versions of these reputable programs on the websites listed. They just may not be obvious. I've traded emails with Yahoo Support and sent them screen shots. And every time ALL THEY SAY IS IT IS MY ISP FAULT. My ISP is Optonline-Cablevision. I call them and they say nothing on their end, it's Yahoo. SO I reply to the Yahoo Support email and tell them this. They send me the same form of it's my ISP. So I go to a friends house on a PC, using Verizon FIOS. Exactly the same. I use my iPhone 4 on ATT 3g, exactly the same errors. I've tried Safari & Chrome browsers. All the same. I again reply to Yahoo Support saying how can it be an ISP when it happens on FIOS and even ATT 3g networks? They send me back the same copy/paste boiler plate email it's my ISP. I'm pretty shy, so I find it hard to go up to guys in the mall or something & start talking to them. The best way I can find a potential date or boyfriend is through online dating sites. I joined one a few months ago (in which my brother's friend found his fiance on) & for at least a month, I've been talking to this one boy. He's very attractive, sweet, funny, etc. The problem is that I asked him if he had a Facebook (because I'm skeptical about meeting people online in person unless I know they're for real) & he said he did, but he barely goes on it. When I asked him for it or his email so I could search him, he kind've avoided the subject. He had told me what school he goes to so I searched his first name & his school & remarkably, he was the first person who popped up. It really is him, but his profile is private & his default pic is of him & a girl. I'm not saying that's his girlfriend, I just feel a bit paranoid. He said he's single because girls have cheated on him a lot, so I don't exactly take him for the cheating type. However, why would he just avoid the subject of his Facebook? Voting Question: Please help, huge virus and I don't know what to do?!?

Okay, so my computer, or rather my internet modem ( I think ) has a big virus. I have no idea what caused it, but I really don't know how to fix it. Some of the problems I can name off the top of my head is, my computer randomly opens up links to Google in internet explorer, which isn't even my default browser, sometimes tabs open up to different search engines. At start up as soon as I get on my computer three windows appear, each of which says RunDLL and some other stuff inside like Error Loading C://Windows etc etc, the specific module could not be found. Sometimes my computer starts to freeze and clicks and typing characters get delayed by a few seconds. And sometimes, windows don't want to cooperate with me and they don't open, making me FORCE my computer to shutdown, damaging the hard drive. I don't know how to fix it, but I heard that adding a password could stop people from accessing your computer through your modem, although I don't know if it's true, and if it is, I don't know how to add a password to my modem. any suggestions / help would be nice. I've already ran scan after scan and the same Trojan comes up each time although it says virus is inaccessible. Help :cI don't have a system restore point, and I have too many items on my computer to really wipe it out, the same virus is on ANY computer that uses my internet connection. OH noes ?! more

I am having trouble connecting to http://192.168.0.1 . I forgot my password and trying to find out what it is. So I called my internet provider, Charter, and they told me to go to 192.168.0.1 and so i did. Every single time I try to connect to the site it says that the connection has timed out and try later because it might be busy. I have tried to connect to the site for the past 2 weeks now. The reason I want to know my password is to connect my Zune HD to my internet and it always ask me for my password, which i don't remember it. I know I should of wrote it down. and I put a question on yahoo answers about this already on how to find my wireless WEP and a few people say that it should be on the bottom of my router....but they don't understand that I set my password to something more personal. that is why i want to get through on that site. I have searched on the internet for solutions and people say to go to the command prompt and I have and type in ipconfig/all or other things to find out the default gateway. which it's 192.168.0.1 . the same thing my internet provider gave me. So I kept on trying it over and over and still can't get through. I also saw other people say try restarting the router to the default setting by holding the restart for 15 to 20 secounds and that will reset the factory setting on it including the user name and password. I don't want to push the reset button if I don't have to and if i do will I still be able to connect. the last thing I want is to push and hold the restart and have no internet connections at all. I don't want to have to have my internet provider come out here to help me with everything because i'm tight on cash. please help me get connected to this site to find out what my password is.Thanks! more

Resolved Question: 'Problem' with Mozilla Firefox....?

Right, this may sound stupid but F11 and full screen were not working as i wanted them too because the task bar (the long start bar at the bottom of the page) was always being covered by the full-screen window, if i could ever get the full-screen function to work and so whenever i hovered my mouse over the task bar (Windows Vista Ultimate), as the settings were on auto-hide so it hides when not in use, it always popped out. I found this annoying because i wanted full-screen mode that that 1cm above the task-bar so that it didn't annoyingly pop-out of nowhere every time i wanted to play a game and move the mouse down there. Anyways, because of all of tat looong story^, i right clicked the search bar at top and unselected EVERY tick. That in case you don't know removes all of the search bars and random add-ons i.e removes default google searcher, removes windows live messenger and so on. BUT what happened was that i removed the bar that had tabs such as 'Edit, View, Window and Help'. Now this meant that everything was gone. Now it is just a kind of full-screen window and there is NOWHERE WHATSOEVER to right click and re-enable ANY of the search bars that i had previously on there. I'm sure Mozilla people have a way around this? I mean it's on par with deleting your recycling bin and not being able to permanently delete your documents... Anyways i'm using google chrome now, but still google chrome's 'Save' or 'Discard' download setting do not work for what i want to download as you cannot just 'Open' a file without saving it like i could in Mozilla. Please help, and btw there IS NOWHERE TO RIGHT CLICK. more
