So, this is a multi-question question. My friend wants to start a little business with me by selling t-shirts. I brought up the idea of screen printing them ourselves, which will work just fine. Open Question: Is it possible to disable the iPhone's auto sleep/shut down while charging?

I drive a great deal for work. I use my iPhone primarily in cities that I am unfamiliar with, but find it rather counter-intuitive to constantly have to take my hands off the wheel to turn the phone BACK ON every minute or so when inactivity causes the screen to dim and shut off. Yes I know it would behoove me to purchase a GPS - but I prefer the multi-tasking ability of the iPhone vs. a standard GPS; and besides I only have the one cigarette lighter/charger already in use by either the iPhone or my PA system (it's a 15 person van). No, I am NOT asking how to disable the dimmer on an app. I am not constructing an app, so don't give me the [[UIApplication sharedApplication] setIdleTimerDisabled:YES]; as an answer. That does NOT help me. All I am interested in is whether or not the iPhone 3G can be set up to display the MAP indefinitely while charging or otherwise. more

Open Question: Fallout 3 has stopped working?!?

Hi, Whenever I play Fallout 3 (Game of the year edition) it will run for a few minutes then the screen will go blank and an error message saying fallout 3 has stopped working will show up. I've looked everywhere across the internet and through forums to fix this and I've tried everything. Setting the Water multi-sampling to low. Using windows XP service pack 3. Running as administrator. All that crap, I don't know what else to do. Any help is much much appreciated. (Steam won't let me re-install it for some reason...) What is the best touch screen laptop for a 13 year old. I would need multi touch and it has to be under 1000 euro(around 1300 dollars or 900 pounds.. I would mostly use it for surfing the web, watching youtube, playing mini games and using editing photo's or videos. not big videos just trimming the start and end on 5 minute videos. I have saved up 300 euro from working and that is towards a laptop. it needs over 2gb memory either 32bit or 64bit operating system and over 4 hours of battery life. Also I with windows 7. preferably not toshiba or packard bell if they make one. it also might suffer from 1 fall a year on carpet.must be over 11" and under 14". okay so I have the palm pre & it's a great pone..but I think I want a new phone. I have 150 upgrade on a phone..& I don't know if I should go to the blackberry 8530..the newest blackberry with the track pad..or to the palm pixi..the bad thing I don't like about the BB is that it looks really cheap..doesnt have a flash...with the palm pixi, it don't like the smaller screen size, & the slower processor..but if I was to leave WebOS I know I would miss it, especially the multi-tasking! So my 2 year contracts ending and I want a touch screen but apparently the droid cost 30 dollars a month more and im not even ganna be using the internet so wtf.... Resolved Question: Why doesn't my ipod 8gb "3rd gen" MC model have multi-tasking or the ability to change the black wallpaper?

I upgraded to ios 4 today and I try double tapping on the home button and it only brings up my music. I went into the home button settings to change it and I can only either bring up my music, search or go to the home screen. Why is this? I thought ios 4 was supposed to have multi-tasking. And yes, It did successfully upgrade because I go to Settings > General > About and it says 4.0 next to Version. more

Open Question: Help me find a MMO please?

I am looking for a mmo. Now there is thousands of mmo's, my brain is hurtung looking through them all and a fair few look good but i cant go trying them all. I'll tell you what I'm looking for and hopefully someone can help me. I'm looking for a basic MMO without all the bells and whistles. I don't need the best graphics but dont want some budget cartoon looking thing. I want a game that offers plenty of PVP and guilds or clans. At the moment i am playing ultima online and enjoy it and the consept of it, but there isn't much of a community on it, it's too quiet and not enough pvp on it or not enough player per area. I have also played seafight, which I also enjoyed and found it addictive but for a 'free' game, it costs too much to keep up with people who have more dollars than sense. But it offered a great international, multi language community, with guilds and player created allainces. it had basic graphic with a basic click and attack idea but with that still came tactics to try to outsmart other players. So basically I want something with a basic batlle idea, not too much cluttering up my screen and having to use 3 hands when PVPing, but want it to be exciting where i'm not just playing the computer all the time and even when i am, i want the fear of being attacked. both seafight and ultima online are totally different from eachother, so it doesnt have to be along those lines of ideas. but in saying that, they are both pretty basic, you build yourself up, you fight player, you have fun. I don't care if the game is free or not but must have atleast a free trial if i have to pay for it. I must try before I buy. PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME, i'm going crazy more

So I understand you can play the Wii on a Computer screen. I understand you can use a TV instead of a computer screen. I also understand you can use multiple computer screens as one "larger" screen, or use a computer screen and a TV as your larger screen. Part 1) Can you use two TVs as a larger connected computer screen? Part 2) Can I send the Wii signal to the computer screen, which would end up on two Tv screens? additional info: I understand the fact that Wii multi-player games are not designed to split screens accross two screens and it will not split that way (like MarioCart, etc...). I just downloaded the newest software (ver 4) and am under the impression when i double tap the home button during a application, it will run in the back round. When i double tap it takes me to the home screen, and when I try the app again, it boots up the app. I've updated the apps, and tried with several. Resolved Question: IPod Touch 2g having problems HELP!?

I was listening to my music on my IPod Touch and answering and reading emails (multi-tasking), when i turned up my volume, the screen suddenly flashed white and it restarted itself back at the apple logo screen. (it has done this many times before) The only difference was, the apple logo was 'jagged' you could say. some pieces of the apple were shifted over and the screen stayed frozen like this. I did the DFU restart, and when the apple logo screen came up again, the apple logo was normal, except for the fact there were purple vertical lines (about 4) on the screen. Another time after home+sleep restarting it, the screen was pure white with blue vertical bars. I'm worried i may have contracted a virus. I've tried everything; killing the battery and re-charging, plugging it to a power source and doing another DFU, but nothing is working. ITunes does NOT recognize it. My computer doesn't even recognize it. It's been jailbroken with Spirit, I've had it for a year, and i have 3.1.3 software. PLEASE HELP ME. Alright, here's the situation. I've recently got a 2nd monitor (it's actually my older one) and it runs at a lower res than my primary one. Now that's the setup. The problem is that in certain games, (stalker and psychonauts) the mouse is still active under the game and if I move the mouse too far right, I end up seeing the mouse on the 2ndary screen and end up minimizing if I click anywhere. How can I prevent the mouse from being active under the game? Both are fullscreen and this issue has yet to happen in any other game. I current have a Sager Np2090 14.5" laptop but the screen just cracked and there are some other problems with it after 3 years of constant travel so I'm looking to upgrade. I just noticed the ASUS N82JQ-A1 on powernotebooks.com and think it might be what I'm looking for. I use the laptop primarily for web browsing and office-type work on the road, but I also enjoy some good gaming from time to time such as MW2 and Bad Company 2. My Np2090 can't cut the mustard on BC2 at all. How is the durability of the ASUS for someone who travels constantly? The laptop will spend 50% of its life in a suitcase, luckily I almost never check it. Now let's talk options: I'm definitely going to upgrade to the 8gb DDR3/1333 memory. I think I'm satisfied with the standard i7-720QM 2.8ghz processor I also think I'll just stick with the standard 500gb 7200 rpm SATA II hard drive I'll probably go with the blu-ray read/write combo multi drive 8x On the wireless card I have no idea if the upgrade from the standard 802.11a/g/n to the Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6200 is worth it, but I use Wi-fi exclusively, sometimes in crappy locales so I'm thinking it would be for $40. Thoughts? Suggestions? Do my options sound good?Also looking at the HP Envy 14 now....Price is about the same, but no blu-ray drive or HDMI out on the Envy (I think). Resolved Question: Why is my Photoshop PDF changing colour when I display as a presentation?

I have created a multi page PDF using photoshop and when I view it as a presentation in full screen the colours change. All the pages of the document have a black background with white text and an image in the center. When I go to the presentation some of the pages fade very quickly from the colours I used to a dull grey. When viewed outside the presentation format the colours are fine. Not all of the pages are doing this, it is only happening on certain pages. Any ideas how I can stop this? more

Hello, OK, so I bought a HP Touchsmart TM2T tablet laptop back in May or June of this year. I knew about the overheating issues with HP's flop tablet predecessor, the TX models, in which I already knew right at the start that the overheating was caused by the AMD processors they were using. AMB is terrible for laptops and especially tablet laptops, and barely usable for desktops. That is just my opinion. They just run very hot. Anyway, I was a bit leary due to the overheating issues, even though the new TM2T model uses Intel processors, just in case there were two reasons that the TX models all ran seriously hot. So I got the basic model of the HP TM2T, which came with the SU Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB RAM (upogradeable to 8GB RAM, whichb I am planning to do very soon), a 7300 RPM 500GB hard drive, and the integrated graphics from Intel. I have always had very good luck with Intel's integrated graphics, so why ruin a good thing? LOL Anyway, even for the base ultra low voltage Core 2 Duo processor, this TM2T runs like a gem. It is soundless when running; just absolutely soundless. You hear no turning, grinding, or anything from this wonderful tablet. And the display is crystal clear and bright with not one dead pixel, nor any light leakage. And it is fast. I got this basic model so as not to have spent a wonton of money on it just in case it did have heating issues, which it does not. The CPU, GPU, and processor doesn't even go above 39 degrees Celcius. I bought the TX model at one time, and when it kept hitting from 89 to 109 degrees celcius for the processor temp and the GPU temp, I sent it right back and got my full refund. No matter what I run on this machine, my new TM2T never goes above the 39 degrees Celcius temp. Plus, this one is built solid, has the metallic casing surrounding it. The speakers are also placed in the perfect spot. Speaker placement has always been issues with people and the tablet laptops they buy. Anyway, HP put a lot of thought into this gem of a machine, and they listened to their customers. My TM2T also has multi-touch screen, and the tablet and pen functions work like no tomorrow. The pen catches every single thing I write, corrects my mistakes, and is extremely precise. I bought this TM2T from an Ebay store and at an incredible price. I was able to sell a UMPC that I had for 3 years, whichs till looked and performed like new, for the same amount that I bought my TM2T for, which was a real blessing. I know that there are many other tablet laptops out there that matches my TM2T or even beats it, but they don't beat mine for the price that I paid. Well, what i wanted to ask the Yahooers out there is First, are there anyone out there that has also bought hemselves a HP Touchsmart TM2T tablet laptop? And if so, what do you think of yours? I am pretty sure that the overheating issue was resolved the very minute HP quit using the failing and sloppy AMD processors and started using Dell's unbeatable ones. My next question for you great people is this: Dell makes a tablet laptop too called the XT2. I own several Dell computers as well, and have been a big Dell fan. But I was very leary about them when that story came out that they knowingly used faulty components and when the pcs failed and their customers would call, they would use their whacky excuses blaming ther customers. Sony does this crooked business as well. They done it to me, and that is why i will Never ever buy another Sony product. And I used to be a very big and dedicated Sony customer. Those days are long gone. I wanted to give Dell some time to clean up their legal probvlem here before I buy from them again, because I don't want to boycott Dell and blacklist them and not buy from them again like I did Sony. Dell has been very good to me, and everyone makes mistakes. Eventually i want an Alienware, was about to buy one when thieir legal issues with this came out. Anyway, i am getting way in another direction. Back to my question. HP's TM2T is multi-touch, usews hi-tech components, and Dell's XT2 does as well. they both basically have the same. What i wanted to ask people is, with Dell's XT2 being super expensive in price and HP's TM2T being able to do the same things and maybe even different things, but yet they have a more reasonable price tag on them, which do you think is the better tablet laptop? Now I am not talking about comparing to other regular laptops. I am clearly, meerly speaking on these two tablet laptops. One costs maybe $1200 or $1300 at highest and with its highest specs, and the other one, the Dell XT2, costs about 2.5 times that, and with the same hi-tech components basically. But what do you people think is the better tablet laptop? personally, with price wize and all, i have to say the HP TM2T is the much better product. What do you think? I'd like to make a video of myself singing all the parts to a song, with each track recorded separately and then put together into one video - it's pretty common on youtube.
