My friend is buying a laptop ready for wow's new expansion (Basically One that will run Wotlk at 30-40 fps on high settings or more) His budget is £600 and he found a laptop with this graphics card, "512MB Nvidia GeForce® GO 9600GS". Im looking to buy a new laptop, and im not entirely sure about what all the specs mean. There is two I'm deciding between: One is the Samsung R510 which has an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5750 (2 GHz, 667 MHz, 2 MB Cache), 4GB memory and 160GB Hard drive. The other is the Toshiba Laptop A300-16C which has an AMD Turion X2 Dual Core Mobile Processor (2.0 GHz, 400 MHz FSB, 1 MB Cache), 3GB memory and 250GB. Both are the same price, and ideally I would like to go for the one with the biggest hard drive, but I'm unsure whether the Samsung would have better performance as the processor seems slightly higher and it has 4GB memory rather than the Toshiba's 3GB? Would this really make much of a difference or would I be best going for the bigger hard drive? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Or if anyone has any other suggestions of a reliable laptop with good specs for no more than £500 then I'd be greatful for the advice! more
