As my life as a teenager i grew up with what i now think is the curse of being unintentionally handsome. i guess i should blame genetics, anyway, all my life women have always came to me. Which was great when I was a teenager and thought that all girls were cute and innocent. Aging into my early 20's i realized wow was i due for rude awakening. I've been cheated on in the 3 meaningful relationships I've ever been in with a woman. every time, I always try my hardest to be a "nice" guy. But turns out, women being the bitches they are, only like total and complete assholes. I am a total misogynist! Women are slow, unfunny, narcissistic, mean and most of all, the biggest mooches on the planet. All they want in life is materialistic things like diamonds and to crush the hearts of men that they are in a relationship with in just because they can and think its funny. All women do is sit around and wait for us guys to do the hard work so they can go behind our backs and charge all of our hard earned money on clothes with the credit card they stole out of our wallet. And then think its okay just because they are the female in the relationship and then get furious at us whenever we do something without thinking about it. One of the funniest things about it is that girls who say that they are different are ironically the most shady and egoistical of them all. I also hate it when i see people telling others to respect women on TV, it infuriates me! anyway, I am the biggest misogynist on the planet but i don't find Men sexually attractive even though they are saints compared to the alternative, what should I do? moreResolved Question: How can my mom get help (financial)? Legal help?
My mom is on call. She's also on umeployment. I'm not working, I'm looking for work - so no silly little comments like "Why not help your mom out". I AM appling for 100 jobs a week AND I volunteer at 4 different places. This is about my mom, not me. And I live with her rent free. I don't have any $ coming in to help her. I'm doing all I can to look for work. . She is on unemployment, but she LOSSES money when she only works 2 days a week at her job. (She is on-call). She will GET LESS MONEY each month if she works 2 days a week- as compared to NOT working at all and getting the money from unemployment. She gets less then $900 a month on unemployment. If she works 2 days a week, she will only be getting about $600 or $700 a month. She has credit cards. Her husband passed away in 2004. She was paying on HIS credit cards (in his name and her own (in her name) for the last 7 years, But in Oct 2011, she went on call. I keep on telling her "You can't pay his credit cards any more, you can't do it, don't pay them, you can't afford to pay on HIS credit cards, you are not working full time anymore! You must stop or you will not have enough money to pay the electric bill or the gas bill or the water bill. You must stop paying on HIS credit cards" She does not listen to me. She NEVER listens to me. Her house is paid off in full. Life insurance paid it off when he died. I have asked this question, and I will ask it again on here.. But people keep on saying "Take a home loan out, take a home loan out" HELLO?? Home LOANS need to be PAID BACK. Question 1: How do you expect my mom to pay the home loan back when my mom can't even pay the credit cards? The credit cards were used for emergencies, such as car repair - brakes. Something like that. She's been paying all of her credit cards -and her desceased husbands since 2004. She's been doing it all by herself. But she can't pay all of them anymore. She can't even pay 1/2 of the AT and T or the Wells Fargo. She doesn't make enough on unemployent to "cut the payment in half". She very afraid she will get a LEAN on the house and she afraid that the bills will go to collections and then she's worried she will LOSE the house! She can't take out a home loan since that will NEED TO BE PAID BACK. Question 2: How can my mom take out a home loan? how will she be able to pay that loan back? What what money? People are saying 'take out the home loan to pay off the credit cards" Huh? What? Question 3: Will her house be in jepordy of a lean if her husbands credit cards are not paid? (she says if "they" the credit card people) know that HE DIED in 2004, then "They" will ask for the "payment in full" and she CAN"T DO THAT, she doesn't make enough money. Question 4: is it TRUE that "they" will ask for the payment in full if "they" found out her husband died in 2004? "They" is the credit card company. She is so AFRAID and she is living in FEAR daily thinking "They, they, they" will take her home and put a lean on it. I told her to STOP living in FEAR.Okay since this was a little confusing. Her husband opened two or three cards in HIS name, she had a card too as a card USER, but the card was opening in his name. My mom has two credit cards in HER name - and her name alone. So those - in her name she can pay. But she can't afford to pay HIS, the ones that are in HIS NAME. there are TWO that were opening in his name.Lil Creep, she CAN"T stop working. She needs to come into work at least 2 shifts a week. If she does not come into work at least 2 shifts a week, it will go down as "QUIT" and guess what? HR will inform unemployment - then she has NO UNEMPLOYMENT COMING IN AT ALL. So, she can't just "stop working"Lil Creep, she CAN"T stop working. She needs to come into work at least 2 shifts a week. If she does not come into work at least 2 shifts a week, it will go down as "QUIT" and guess what? HR will inform unemployment - then she has NO UNEMPLOYMENT COMING IN AT ALL. So, she can't just "stop working"She has a living trust on the house. My step sister and I are both co-executors and when she (my mom) dies, the house needs to be sold and then 1/2 the money goes to her, 1/2 to me. No need for a probate attorney, I don't think moreVoting Question: URGENT help with financial algebra worksheet!!?

I am a middle aged man working in the retail industry. I could tell you how I got into this line of work. Part of it was because I left my last full time job to work for a small business that went under. Now I am trying to work my own business and working a second job to supplement my income. I also continue to look for a full time job. One of the questions I am asked is "are there any opportunities to work there full time?" Its complicated. In order to apply for an opportunity within the company, I need a recommendation from a supervisor. I work there on call so my supervisor is the Human Resources Manager. He knows that I have been working closely over the holiday season with one particular department manager and told me to see her for the recommendation. Only trouble is, that department manager is a jerk. She is nasty and mean. All of the sales people hate her. Over the weekend, I had an incident with her in which she stepped on my foot, pinched me, and scratched me over a pricing issue with a customer. It got me so angry I am debating whether to report the incident. I had found out about a pending opportunity at another store owned by the company. But in order to apply for that job, I need a manager's recommendation, which would mean a recommendation from this department manager. Performance wise, this manager has been riding me about my lack of performance. I am not bringing in enough company credit cards. My sales are slacking compared to my co-workers. Because I only work there on call, it is hard for me to get into the groove of selling and it is my first sales job. The customers find that I am helpful and personable but what that means is that I am easily pushed over when it comes to pricing issues and customers take advantage of my good nature. The most successful sales persons in the store are able to turn the liking part into more sales and more credit applications done for them. The store as a whole has been affected by petty office politics. Since working there for three years, I have seen five store managers come and go. When new store managers come on board, department managers are shuffled around to different departments. Several managers have been fired, transferred to jobs at other store locations within the company, or simply quit. I have been shy to ask this department manager for a recommendation to apply for promotions from within the company. Now with the incident that happened over the weekend, I am letting this affect me. When I go to job interviews elsewhere, I do not list that I am working on call at my present job. When I wasn't working at all I was asked "are you currently working?" Now I am asked "is this full time?" Its as if they are asking me to confirm what they already have taken steps to find out. Unlike most companies, my store does not have a hiring freeze. There are opportunities but usually the jobs are filled by people who work at other stores and often the jobs are filled by people off the street who are friends of the managers. I suspect that the managers are using head hunters and getting paid to place these people. That's the rumor. My college degree is in Communications. I thought that working in sales and getting sales experience might lead me to getting into management. Since getting my bachelor's degree, I have worked a series of office jobs doing clerical work and went back to school to get two master's degrees, including my MBA. I make minimum wage and no commissions. If I was to do this full time, its not a job that I dreamed about getting when I was going to college, or even graduate school. At this point, I am simply scouring the job sites like Monster and Indeed and applying for any job that is open to just about anyone and trying to convince the hiring manager that this particular job is what I have always wanted to do all of my life. When I go for interviews, I arrive all dressed up in a suit and tie and usually interview with a hiring manager who is dressed in a tee shirt and jeans and we go into an office that smells like a garage. When I am working in the store, I get through the days working there by cracking jokes. That's because most of the people I work with are constantly laughing at me. For a while, I was living at home and trying to run my small business, trying to save money. But my stepfather convinced my mother to sell the family home and now I am living off of my savings in a one bedroom apartment. I am so poor at this point that I had to get my stepfather to cosign my lease. moreVoting Question: Stats homework help please?

My boyfreind of 2 years has a horrible younger sister. we are in our twenties and she is 2 years younger than us. Since day one she hasn't liked me because she was more attached to his ex.. I can kind of understand that cz if my brother got a new gf it would take a while to adjust to the new one.. but surely after 2 years she would have become used to the fact that i've been around a while, and going to stick around a lot longer than she would like. She has always tried to exclude me by suggesting "family only" trips, weekends, dinners, outings, everything. She even went as far as telling me to leave and go home because they were going to have a family dinner and i wasn't allowed to be there. She always talks about family only things infront of me, almost like shes trying to rub it in that im not considered family and i wont be included. Im sure if she had a bf it would be different. She claims that i have pushed all his friends away (not true), that ive changed him, in a bad way, and that hes sees too much of me and shes getting sick of me being at his house. We would move out together if we could afford to but its not an option at the moment.. recently we all went away together, and she was so horrible to me that I went home a week early because I couldnt handle any more of her manipulative behaviour, and constant abuse. and now she hasnt spoken to me since. she ignores me when ever we are in the same room together, and told her brother( my bf) that im the problem, and if i didnt have such a "tone" she wouldnt be so mean. I have been having a hard enough time at home with my parents and so have been relying on my bf for support. she is now saying that shes sick of me compaining and being upset, and that im just after attention and sympathy from his family. She has no idea what its like to have real problems in life because her mother worshipps the ground she walks on. she is incerdibly spoilt and never worked a full day in her life. she still doesnt work, insisting shes too busy, plus she gets $200 a week from her parents and unlimited use of daddys credit card so why would she work?? Im not jealous of her life of luxury, since i got my first job at 14 iv had to pay for everything myself.. it sucks compared to her siutaion but atleast i appreciate the money I have, and work hard to support myself. and atleast im not a spoilt brat. I have supported her countless times when my bf has been mean to her, which has caused some problems in my relationship, but im sticking up for what i feel is right and sometimes he is a bit hard on her. But she just doesnt appreciate any help or support i have given her. Bascally its horrible being around her because she is either insulting me or ignoring me and i dont know how to deal with her. I cant confront her because then she will turn their parents against me because she is so manipulative. she will twist every word i say, or just lie, to make me sound like the bad guy. My bf has already tried to talk to her but she just deflected everything off her and put all the blame on me. I know she wants me out but unfortunately for her im going to be around a lot longer than she would like. moreResolved Question: Whats a good air miles credit card?
Hey everyone I'm looking into getting a air miles credit card. I spend a lot money on school tuition, gas, clothes, a bit of groceries and food. I don't know a lot about different credit cards so I'm looking for some peoples opinions or maybe give me a good detail sight. I'm wondering if a miles card says 1 mile per 1$ spent is it a dollar anywhere like even if i buy like a dollar candy bar or like 1000's$ worth of school tuition do i get those miles or am i limited to certain things like groceries. I don't want it to be like I'm using people when i can research this but some things are just tricky online. In addition i was wondering if a card has a interest fee does that interest fee apply if i can pay it off right away. I know that most cards have a annual fee to just have the card. If i spend 2000$ and right when i get the bill i am able to pay it with out a delay its still only 2000$? Thanks guys links with info comparing cards would be nice too thanks. Also i don't have a credit line yet, however my mom is great credit idk if that helps in any way of getting a credit card. moreResolved Question: paypal scam ???? is this a scam?

I tried to purchase a wholesale children wear from this site, but they do not take credit card, Escro or even paypal. They only take T/T ans western Union. T/T might be a popular method of payment but i do not have any buyers' security or protection. This bothers me. I agreed to make the payment and discovered that i also need to pay $45 fee, which i reluntantly agreed to pay because i love the items i have in my order. But there is something else about these site; every information like 90% of them are a duplicate from INDEEDBUY.COM even their payment information. I contacted indeed.com they said it's not there site. i tried to google the site but not recognised. Can't find them in twitter, facebook, or youtube. There sales rep gave me a different bank accout to put the money. Don't you think there's still some questions about this site? I have already made arrangement with those that will buy these items when it gets here, but i'm still having trouble making this payment. Ofcourse my hubby says don't do it but didn't listening to that. It might not be a lot of money involved ($545.00), but i will be hurt if i lose after the warning and fake infos i saw on that site. I was arrested by the macy's loss prevention on the accounts that they saw me take something off a rack then they didnt see me return from the fitting room with 4 of 6 garments. upon the unlawful search of my handbag they uncovered the 2 items. I told them the items were mine and that I was just there to compare sizes because I had to return the similar items that I had in my bag for smaller sizes and when I was done I put it on the hangers inside the fitting rooms that they have. Because I had gotten the wrong size on one item and the other item I just decided to keep afterall. I told them someone must have gotten the items since the women in line often get the clothes that are on the hangers and go into the fitting room. Upon this then they claimed they saw me at another different time taking merchandise But with a different handbag! They said that when they tried to catch up to me that it was too late. I was too fast. I denied ever being there twice. But they are saying that I was!! Because I had the exact same outfit on, except for the bag at the time of the arrest. As well they uncovered prictags in my pants. And said I had no money with me. I told them I had a credit card a prepaid visa but it must have fallen out of my pants in the fitting room. I said I had those tags just to compare the prices there as to somewhere else and to show family etc how much the items cost. Then their manager called them and loss prevent said that I was sticking to my story and that I was not admitting to anything. They kept asking if I had an accomplise or a car? I said, no I came on the bus. They kept demanding/yelling at me to give them their "****" back! I said I didnt have it! So they found no car, no other bag and no other items. But they are pinning me with the tags I had in my pocket some of which where from JCPenney. Well as it were I was put into jail for about 10 hours have to pay a civil fine from macys and court fees and have to go to court about all of this! What can I do? Do I have a shot at getting this expunged from my record? I was never even read my rights at the time of the citizens arrest! This guy was being racist he said he had a ex-wife who was mexican. And mexicans where pieces of ****! The other woman just kept telling me that I was **** and a jackass. they tightened the handcuff soo much I had red marks and bruises all around! Please let me know what I can do please! moreResolved Question: What is the difference between American Express Platinum and J.P. Morgan Select Card?
I would like to know the difference between American Express Platinum and J.P. Morgan Select Card (visa signature) cards. Both of them seem like very nice cards to have (good customer service, good perks, points, etc.). Both of them seem like prestigious cards, but while American Express Platinum costs $450, J.P. Morgan Select Card costs $95. Why is it so big difference in price? Are they even on the same level or am I comparing totally different levels cards? From what I have read, American Express Platinum is the highest card you can get before you are eligible for American Express Centurion. The same goes for J.P. Morgan Select card (if I understand right); it is the highest you can get before you are eligible for J.P. Morgan Palladium Card. But why the annual card fee is so different? To me $95 vs. $450 is a huge difference if they are the same cards (the same level of customer service, benefits, prestige, etc.). Could someone please explain me? I do not know much about cards which carry annual fees. The only credit cards I have ever had were free ones. But I want to try a higher end credit card to see if I like it and whether it’s worth paying an annual fee. Which one would you choose (between American Express Platinum card and J.P. Morgan Select Card) if you wanted a higher end credit card? Thank you for taking your time to read it, and I hope to hear your thoughts. moreVoting Question: Wife form Patan Gujarat is this normal there what should i do pl. advise?

I currently have one bank-issued credit card, which I have had since 2004. It has a medium balance but a high limit. I have a few other store credit cards, which were opened in the past few years, but never near each other; they each have low balances and relatively low limits. I do not intend to make any major purchases, move within the next few years, or do anything that would require a significant look at my FICO score (which is good-excellent.) I would simply like to increase my credit score for when I am ready to purchase a car, secure a home loan, etc. I know that increasing my credit-to-debit ratio is a major factor in my credit score, but how does that compare to reducing my total credit age? Will opening another bank-issued credit card (at another institution and a different card company) and a widening to my debt utilization ratio be enough of an improvement to my credit to sufficiently counter a reduction to my credit age? Thanks for the help. moreResolved Question: Am I wrong, or is everybody else?
Hello; I was just browsing the web aimlessly this morning after a sleepless night due to allergies and the fact that I'm currently in a Vietnamese family run guest house, where everybody is in bed by 11 and up by 4:30 in the morning. A rare thing I do on the internet are these personality tests, and this morning stumbled upon healthyplace.com, which touts itself as "america's health channel", and took several assessments regarding psychological disorders. I should mention now that I'm a graduate of Psychology and Philosophy, consider myself rather intelligent compared to the average population (delusions of grandeur?), and have spent the past 3 years teaching and traveling abroad in Mexico, Europe and Asia. I'm four months into traveling Southeast Asia and am deeply delving into Nietzschean thought in an attempt to find some answers to problems which plague me. Anyway, the American Institute of Mental Health Books, DVD's and Medication Sales has informed me that I have symptoms of severe depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Like I said, I'm a graduate psych student, and know the symptoms of psychiatric disorders. I wholly acknowledge myself to be arrogant, melancholic and apathetic, but I wonder.. is this a result of chemical imbalances/childhood trauma, or is humanity as a whole seriously facing catastrophic self-destruction? As I write, a young single Vietnamese mother is slapping her daughter around because she's trying to fulfill her daily routine of watching soap operas and eating what her hardworking mother provides. I think that most people I see, specifically the younger generations are significantly dumbed down by following manipulative modern tools like Twitter and today's brand of entertainment and avoidance of global issues in preference to narcissistic and dim-witted subservience to the 'me' generation and a falsified concept of love based on lust as conditioned by the higher ups in the form of sexually provocative advertising? Here are some things to be pessimistic about: The impeding inhabitability of the Earth, air pollution, water contamination, nuclear accidents. Religious zealots in government seats arguing fundamentally over different viewpoints of the same thing. Overpopulation- We're set to reach 7 billion by something like, October of this year and have resources to sustain 1 or 2 billion. Twitter, Justin Bieber, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Black Entertainment TV, tracking chips in passports and credit cards, 3 or 4-day school weeks for children, governments that spend trillions in military and trifles on education, soap operas, Dane Cook, people forced off of rural areas into city garbage dumps and makeshift slums, insecticides, MTV, noise pollution, Ritalin to overactive children, the wealth/poverty gap, corporate avarice, $2000 cell phones, unpredictable weather phenomena, mindless worship of celebrities, brainwashing kids into religion, world peace by ensuring superpowers only have 10 tons of nukes each. Most of these are problems are rather recent, so am I justified in bitter resignation, or does my suspicion and cynicism warrant the proposition that I should just be given happy pills and locked into a padded room? We're headed toward annihilation at blinding speed, and while there is surely a minority aware of our impending fate, it seems that most people just want to stuff themselves full of ignorance and praise their particular god when the 'rapture' comes. Are these maniacal ramblings or sensible, conservative observations? We're beyond return in my opinion, so F all of you, I'm giving into hedonism and reckless drug abuse, traveling around the world under the guise of an English teacher. moreResolved Question: Help me fix my grammar and spelling for my paper?
Heres my essay Im doing on Ebay and Amazon Comparison. My grammar is really poor :P english is my second language so please help me fix my grammar and make it sound better. here it is Ricky Huang eBay vs Amazon The two most popular online shopping sites: eBay and Amazon. Amazon is like an online store and eBay is not an online store, more of an auction house and is a site where people go to buy and sell their stuff. Both are really successful companies; but which is better- eBay or Amazon? Well, I think eBay is better than Amazon for many reasons: I find it easier to use, more people use it, more items, and more payment methods. Through my research and my personal experience eBay is a bit more expensive, but you get more options like payment and page layout. Unlike Amazon, eBay charges a listing fee whether or not an item sells, as well as any applicable PayPal fees. But its commission is also much lower than Amazon's (8 percent on items under $25, compared with 15 percent). I call this a Tie. So what kind of payment methods do these sites offers? What is payment method? Well payment is pretty much how you going to pay for your things. Most common payment methods are credit cards and bank transfer. Amazon only accepts Credit/Debit card or an Amazon Gift Card. While eBay can accept PayPal, money orders, cashier’s checks, or cash (in person). As you can see eBay gives the seller more payment options than Amazon. I say eBay wins this one. Next is format. Format is basically how you going to seller your items for example eBay popularized the auction format listing and Amazon concentrates solely on fixed-price listings. So which is better? So eBay is better if you are selling antiques and collectibles, as auctions are easily the best way to get the best prices. The Amazon buyer is more affluent, and pays a higher average price for products. EBay is trying to downplay auctions and encouraging fixed-price listings. I call this an eBay win Taxes, we all know what taxes is you pay taxes for things you buy. EBay enables sellers to collect applicable taxes in addition to the sale price which means sellers won’t lose any money to taxes. Amazon sellers are responsible for the sales tax on any items sold so, they generally add the tax into the fix price of their items. It’s a pain in the butt for Amazon sellers. I say eBay wins this one, as well. What about return policy? If you don’t know what return policy is, basically it allow you to return the item and get a refund within a specific period of time. Amazon has the A-to-Z Guarantee which allows buyers to receive a full refund if an item is materially different from that described, for up to 90 days. In a dispute, Amazon typically sides with the buyer. On the other hand eBay seller is free to negotiate with buyers through eBay's PayPal dispute resolution and the seller is not required to offer a refund. While the dispute resolution process can be effective, it can also become messy and time-consuming and can result in negative feedback. I usually don’t have any problems, most of time I can negotiate with the sellers and get a full refund if there’s a problem with my order. I called Amazon win. Photos, its where people post a picture of the product they’re selling. EBay sellers have always struggled with photos. Trying to take good photos, figuring out how to get the photos to show up on eBay, and how many photos they need. Every item, doesn’t matter if it’s exactly the same as another, is will get its own photo on eBay. On the other hand Amazon is different. You only get one photo, and one description page, and all sellers use the same page. Usually the first photo posted on a product, everyone will use the same photo. Some sellers don’t like the idea of other sellers using their photos. It’s better to have more photos for your product, so the customers can have a better view and idea of the product. I called eBay win. Feedback, basically it’s when buyers and sellers leaves a impression of a transaction. Both sites allow buyers to leave positive and negative comments for sellers. The more positive feedback you have the more people will buy from you and trust you. Amazon buyers can see the seller’s feedback score, and usually tends to overlook it more readily than eBay buyers. Amazon’s A-z Guarantee makes the buyer feel more protected when purchasing an item. moreResolved Question: Why RBS credit card should i get? please help!!?

Okay, so I just recently bought a car. I applied at two different dealerships. On the same day. At one dealership we physically went there and got approved for a loan through Capital One, but no others. They were jerking us around, so we found the same car at a different place and applied over the phone telling them that we got approved through Capital One and to check with them if we could buy their car. Well, we went with the place where we physically walked in and bought a car. Now, a month later, I have recieved bout 10 denied letters from the dealership where I did an application over the phone. I told him to only check with Capital One, not all of the loaning companies! Can I do something about this? If not, how will that affect my credit score? I heard that applying for a loan for a car or house multiple times in a short period of time wont have as drastic as an affect on my score compared to if I was applying for credit cards, etc. Is this true? Any help? Thanks. moreResolved Question: I need help !!! my grammar in english is horrible, who can help me to fix this essay?
Religious, Education, and Moral were important values for America society. It’s astounding to see how much America has changed through the years. During the 80's families were set by many rules, restrictions, comparing to the present. Where are does America values? The respect and love to your seniors, family and relatives. Does days you could go out to the street without the fear of getting attack by an abuser. Every morning I turn on the TV to watch the NBC news: In less than ten minutes there is a report of five deaths, with different types of cases such as; romances, gangs, drug, or other types of crimes. Domestic violence is a serious widespread social problem in America. It is any behavior that is intended to overpower and control another human being through the use of humiliation, fear, and physical or verbal assault. Domestic violence is a very important issue in today’s society because it has such a profound negative effect on the abused, mentally and physically. I believe that by accepting help from organizations to overcome this type of situation, domestic violence instead of keep increasing could be reduced over time. Another type of action that leads to violence is the Media. Modern teenagers and young adults grow up in a society watching too much television and playing computer games. The content of movies and computer games we see available in the marketplace are getting more and more violent. Video games are a bad influence on teenagers. They show inappropriate behaviors not necessary for their ages. There are many video games that are M-RATED meaning that teenagers over 17 years old most show an ID before purchasing the item. But for teenagers under this age are easy to buy the games in any store where an ID is not required or online where you only have to type in your credit card number. I worked in a retail store where teenagers come to shop with their parents. If the game is classified M-RATED the parent shows the ID in order to purchase the video games. I believed that lack of parental guidance have too much influenced in the negatives behavior of teenagers. The parents have not informed about what their kids are doing when it comes to activities even if this are inside home. Many parents believe that teenager are more safe staying in home during school break or summer vacation even if they spend hours playing video games, but what they do not know is that many of these games are played online which have direct access to other people who do not know who they are, where they are and what their true intentions. I have heard of cases recently reported in the news that those youths who are addicted to computer games had displayed signs of violence. Moreover, the MTVs which can be quite popular amongst the teenagers are also not a good influence to young people as its content can be vulgar and immoral. Because of these kinds of games children generate violent personalities that lead them to violence activities such as gangs fight, robbery, and other types of violent crimes. For many teenagers carrying a weapon or object it is super normal since for them is to exercise the same fearless personality that their favorite characters attach. There are many reasons why there is increasing youth violence, most importantly it’s because today's children have not been brought up by their parents. There is not enough parental supervision and parents are also looking for an easy way out. Teens are going through a troubling time in their heads which is natural, and they need guidance all the way till they grow out of it. While they're going through this, they need love and guidance and the occasional punishment or time-out. Parents should spend more time with their children. Teenagers create structures; they enjoy the fun of plan activities in which they and they parents can share a common goal. Parents should take advantage of this to get to know their child better. Additionally, I don't think there is enough enforcement of the law, as teens are able to buy alcohol, cigarettes, watch movies not meant for them and go clubbing as most establishments are only concerned with making money instead of enforcing the law. Banning M-rated games would create an underground market in America. Instead of banning these games, laws should be more stringent, or, parent need to be more aware of what they're children are doing. moreResolved Question: my writing in english it is correct?i need help thankss?

Back in June I was terminated from my job due to my epilepsy, I hold nothing against the company as they did all that they could with an ADA accomodation, however my seizures caused me to miss to much work. I ended up getting approved for disability, being considered permanently disabled and now make 950 dollars a month, which is my only income. The loss of income forced me to drop out of college and now I have 70,000 in student loan debt coming due. I have been getting constantly contacted by different collectors and attorneys regarding many of my debts, 3 credit cards, totaling about 1,000 dollars, my pickup was repossessed in June and they are trying to collect the final 1500 dollars that they could not get from selling it, which is now being handled by an attorney threatening litigation. I also owe on a large number of medical bills, 6,000 owed for a balance with snap on tools, which the toolbox was stolen so I cannot return it, and many old debts that are beyond the states statute. The only asset I have is my motorcycle worth 5,000 dollars as I have lost everything else and rent my home. Basically when comparing all of my liabilities to my income and my assets, I am insolvent and from what I have been able to find out basically "judgement proof" I cannot decide if I should file for bankruptcy to try to get a fresh start since there is no way I will ever be able to get these debts paid down. I do know that there is the possibility of my student loans being discharged due to disability. I don't really want to file but I am starting to think that either I will have to, or just keep putting up with many of the phone calls and send cease and decist letters to the ones beyond statutes. Does anyone have any suggestions on this?I have already spoken with Sallie Mae in regards to my student loan debts, and they did advise me that I am in the rare circumstance where the loans can be forgiven. As far as the motorcycle goes, it is my life, although I do not drive currently, as i know better, I don't need to put other people at risk or myself, but the motorcycle is the one thing I refuse to get rid of, as it took me a long time to be able to purchase it, and it is more important to me than anything, including my own life. This may sound crazy, but my motorcycle got me through alot of times when I was depressed. Even my therapist and my doctors all say not to get rid of it since it is all that I have. As far as my debts do go, not including the student loans I am sure that I have over a total of $100,000 in debt as I had to have brain surgery 2 years ago and still owe for that along with a large number of epilepsy specialist visits. I have spoken with an attorney in the past and they have said I do have enoughAs far as student loans being bankruptcy proof, I am well aware that they are in most circumstances, but there are circumstances such as being totally and permanently disabled, which by their definition means for a period of 60 consecutive months. I am certain that I will not be working for that long as we have had no luck in controlling my epilepsy so far. Many of the legalities on that I am aware of as I was majoring in accounting, and was only a couple of classes shy of graduating when I was forced to quitYes, that is correct, I am sorry my wording was off on that, while bankruptcy itself does not get rid of them, certain circumstances do permit the discharge of them, such as total and permanent disability. i have spoken with them and they are currently on deferment for hardship while everything goes through. It isn't actually the bankruptcy itself that gets rid of them, but filing for discharge. I would definitely prefer to pay them off however, but with the cost of my medication each month actually being double what I receive in income and with medicaid refusing to cover them due to stating that they are not a preferred medication and refuse it even with requests from an epileptologist, I have no choice but to pay for them out of pocket until I can get approved for patient assistance. I am also in the process of working with vocational rehab to try to get me through school so that I can get a desk job as I am so limited on work that the only ones that I am able to do physically ar moreVoting Question: Could someone check over my essay? Keeping an Open Mind Allows for Growth Have you ever wondered how keeping an open mind has affected present-day life? Well, it has allowed people to grow by developing their views, and improving their knowledge. Society and its views are very complicated in nature, and it all depends on open minds and unbiased judgements in order to allow for growth since modern life is constantly changing with new ideas, trends, innovations, and technology. When people allow their minds to be undogmatic, they allow themselves to see, observe, and compare new ideas to old ideas. For example, many people do not accept, or are not open to the idea of buying domestic and trans-border airplane tickets online because they are not willing to change or try a new method, or that they are afraid that someone will steal their credit card number through the internet. However, if they were open to the idea of buying airplane tickets online, not only would they learn that it is generally safe, but they would save a lot of time, get a better deal, and save the $30 to $40 booking fee (since most airlines in North America do not pay commission to travel agencies). This is an example of something that has been created to help benefit the people, and if people don't give this method a chance, the people and the airline will not be able to grow and improve. If people were fair-minded to situations such as the one above and others, they could compare the ideas that are beneficial and discard the ones that are restraining their growth. Being unprejudiced in society has been essential. Accepting people of different race is an example of how society has improved and developed throughout time. Many years ago, discrimination against race was a serious issue and caused many people to be treated unjustly. However, as people learn that being prejudiced to such insignificant matters only cause more problems than what is gained from it, discrimination against race has considerably reduced. Technology is affecting the world and is an area that has flourished in part by thinking outside the box. A good example is Apple's iPhone. While other phone companies were focused on creating one type of phone, Apple came out with innovative ideas such as a multi-touch screen interface, the ability to download applications directly to the device, and many other features all at an affordable price. This has allowed them to dominate the smartphone market as every minute goes by. Due to the success of the iPhone, every mobile device company is now competing with Apple. Interestingly enough, Apple has never competed in the phone market until the iPhone came out. Having an open mind is absolutely essential for growth in ourselves and in the global society. Nations and its people are trying to improve its self by developing new ideas, and in order for them to succeed, people's minds need to be impartial. They must not allow ourselves to be held back by traditional or customary ideologies. moreVoting Question: Essay Check- could someone read this over for me and give me any edit tips? This has allowed them to dominate the smartphone market as every minute goes by. Due to the success of the iPhone, every mobile device company is now competing with Apple. Interestingly enough, Apple has never competed in the phone market until the iPhone came out. Having an open mind is absolutely essential for growth in ourselves and in the global society. Keeping an Open Mind Allows for Growth Have you ever wondered how keeping an open mind has affected present-day life? Well, it has allowed people to grow by developing their views, and improving their knowledge. Society and its views are very complicated in nature, and it all depends on open minds in order to allow for growth. Modern life is constantly changing with new ideas, trends, innovations, and technology, and it requires people to be open and have unbiased judgements in order for these changes to succeed. This is an example of something that has been created to help benefit the people, and if people don't give this method a chance, they will not be able to grow and improve. However, as people learn that being prejudiced to such insignificant matters only cause more problems than what is gained from it, discrimination against race has reduced. I heard somewhere that, if someone wants to check their own credit (ie by using one of those "free credit check" websites) that it doesn't hurt their credit. Supposedly, it only hurts your credit when a company does a "hard inquiry" for a loan, etc. Is this true? Here is my situation: I am buying a car through a dealership a friend works at, so they have been treating me less like a client and more like a friend, which I appreciated at first. However, I have recently found out that they ran my credit through about 15 different lending companies, without asking my permission for any of this. They told me they were going to try with one company, the credit union, but that it might take a little longer than usual. I recently received a letter from my credit card company stating that my credit rating had dropped below 700 and they were cancelling my card because of this. I was able to convince them to let me keep the card, but with a lower credit limit, since someone had obviously been mistaken, as I have always had excellent credit. Then I found out about what the dealership was doing, and I am furious. Is what they're doing legal? Is there anything I can do? I work way too hard to keep my credit score as close to perfect as possible for them to be throwing it around like it means nothing. I would like to check my credit score now and compare it to what it was before they started running it through so many lending companies; is this advisable? Thanks in advance, let me know if more clarification is needed.Thank you, this is very helpful. I always pay my credit card in full and on time, but I do get close to my credit limit sometimes. I did not realize that getting close to the credit limit would affect me negatively; I thought it was only bad if you went over. I guess I will just continue to keep paying it in full and on time, but try not to exceed half of the spending limit. It is a relief to know that the car dealership did not wreck my credit.I never signed anything; this is why I was so upset. But if those inquiries only counted as one, then I guess it doesn't matter. Thanks for all the answers. moreResolved Question: Is it possible to get financial aid in my case?
i'm a California college student and i've applied for jobs in several places, but i'm sure because of my busy school schedule i'm never getting hired. the economy sucks too. my dad makes too much money to be placed in the normal bracket of eligibility for financial aid. But see, the thing is my parents have a lot of debts. So basically with the mortgage, car payments, insurance, credit card bills, etc etc. there really isn't much left to go around. kinda just goes towards groceries and gas. i typically get about 100 dollar allowance from my mom, who also works part time to try make ends meet, to cover my gas expenses from commuting to and from school every day. So in other words, i guess my dad makes a pretty good income, but it does not mean we're sitting on any wealth here because everything from the paycheck is being used each time it comes. The fall semester just started and i'm finding myself trying to pay for all the books and required materials. I'm at least splitting costs with my girlfriend for textbooks so we just share since we have the same classes. I'm also in AFROTC in a different school and i gotta pay tuition for that and since its a university its pretty pricey compared to my community college. they also want me to buy the parkin gpermit for that university which is like 160. i dont think i'm going to do that, but yeaah. to restate this in simplest form....my monthly income is at max 100 dollars, and is an allowance primarily for gas expenses from my mom. I can't really qualify for financial aid because my dad's income is too high, but all of the money he makes goes toward debts, so its not usable. is it possible for me to get some type of financial aid??My dad is a US Navy veteran with 60% disability, so I do receive the CalVet feewaiver for tuition. but it's not money. it just waives my tuition fee. moreResolved Question: My sister is evil, I need help on what to do!?
I'm a 16yr old guy who has a twin sister and an older sister, she is only a couple years older than me and my twin but seems to be crazy evil compared to us. She is a two-face, she somehow gets people to like her and is apparently 'pretty' so she always seems to do what she wants and thinks that she deserves anything that belongs to the family, including the money she steals from us. Our dad died a few years ago and that might have something to do with it, but I can remember very clearly that she was still cruel and inconsiderate back then too. She is almost never at home (thankfully), and spends her nights with a different guy almost every few weeks it seems. She is always a bitch, cuts out of conversations she knows that she is losing, twists our words to serve her needs and make our family looks bad. She argues whenever we oppose her in the smallest way (she started cussing me out when I mistook one harry potter movie for another) she leaves wet towels and dirty dishes all over the floor. My mom is unreasonable and still gives her almost whatever she wants even though she knows that she will somehow screw us over! (IE. making us pay for 50 dollar clothes that she will never wear)This has been going on for years and there's nothing I can do about it. This time she has gone too far. First of all, she goes on vacation to Alabama (we're in Missouri) for almost a week because nobody else wanted to go down there again, our dad used to drive us there every year for as long as I could remember. Then she calls home, wanting to come home a day early. Then about a week later: She steals my mom's credit card, and buys a ticket to Tampa, Florida for her and a boyfriend. Then she opened an account at the airline with the card number and was able to buy a return ticket for both of them without my mom's consent or anything! She hasn't gotten back yet, and she has sucked up our family's monthly food budget and our back to school money IN ONE WEEK. And it's just now August 1st! I don't know what to do and I'm afraid that she will now feel like she can get away with anything. Life will suck more than ever! When she gets my mom pissed of and depressed (very often!), my mom does the same to us! It's gonna be hell, no money, no food, no school, stuff, a pissed off mom, Evil Sister, all piled onto my already stressful and crappy life of not be able to live up to anyone's expectations.Hey, my mom is crazy for not doing anything! Other than my sister being a complete bitch she doesn't directly abuse me, It's only the shitstorm she causes that leaves the people around me to feel almost unlivable. In fact, she isn't even at the house for more than half a day at a time, and those times are usually separated by a week or more. But the trouble she causes pisses off the two emotional women I'm forced to live with to almost unbearable extents! moreResolved Question: Can someone help me with sentences?

Hi everyone, I just wanted to ping the group and get opinions on my situation. Obviously personal finance goals are different for everyone, but in comparing to national research, I was curious to know if the criteria in my question was average for someone at that age. Right now, I am slated to have paid off my final debt and have 20,000 accumulated in cash within the next 8-10 months, and wanted to see if anyone had thoughts as to if this was above average/below average/etc. I currently rent, have a car fully paid for, and no credit cards with balances. I am currently paying off one outstanding charge off monthly which will be resolved soon. Thanks for any insight. moreResolved Question: Microsoft XBOX 360 Problem .?
Alright , help me a little out here guys :D ! I am planning to buy an Xbox 360 Arcade , the problem is , i cannot connect to LIVE duo to certain issues . Anyway , i already own a PS2 , but it is damaged but still could be fixed . The Xbox cost around 450$ with a 20GB Hard Disk and an extra Controller (Which cost 60$ or so here) . The cost of repairing the PS2 is around is over 115$ here . My questions are : 1) How Similar is the PS2 to Xbox with no LIVE ? not graphics wise or anything , or is it far of different ? 2) Is it worth paying for the Xbox ? i know 450$ is alot , but this is the average price in my country , and all the nearby ones . Or should i just fix the PS2 ?? * Please , do not spam , as i would report any . ** Do NOT tell me to buy PS3 , or bring it to the topic , as i am personally NOT willing to pay 600$ for the Console and over 100$ per game . *** If you do not own an Xbox , please , try to quit comparison . **** I know that the Arcade is not that great , but i do not really care about the 120GB of the Elite , as i mentioned before , i am not sure if i ll be able to play on the LIVE . i know that it comes with an internal memory ! actually it comes with the 256 MB one , but the one i am buying comes with a 20GB Detachable HD with it :D . I am looking to get into buying real estate foreclosures. Since so many properties are not worth as much as the loan value I want to look at auctions. I have looked around at different companies but ended up going with gotrusteesales.com since they gave me a free trial without having to give them my credit card. Question: Has anybody used their service or compared their info with other companies? They have a resource tool (it sounds like it would save time) that requires a subscription and can't be accessed with the free trial. moreResolved Question: How to I solve a problem I have with my parents and the guy I've been seeing/boyfriend? Please help!?
Ok. I'm been talking/seeing this guy for a little over three months. I care about him a lot, if anything I care about him more than anyone else I've dated. He says the same about me. We have a different connection than we had with the others, and we both agree that this feels .. real. I've met his parents, and according to them and him, they like me a lot. I happen to be the first girl he's dated that is worth his while, and instead of putting him down, they've seen positive changes since he met me. My parents, too, have met him. They said they like him as a person, but as a boyfriend, he's a waste of my time. The only reason why they have this opinion of him is because he's in his 2nd semester in college whereas I'm in my 6th semester. Although he's one year older than me, he's behind in college in comparison to me. That, my parents say, is grounds for him wasting my time and, by the time he'll want to get married (if the relationship goes that far), I'll be 30 years old. Their view is I'm 21 and he's 22 - we're not at the age where we can just date and "see what happens" as if we were in high school. In his age and mine, we could potentially date the person we're going to marry. Instead of dating someone who's "lower" than me, I should be looking for someone "ahead" of me. This seems to completely blind them from the fact that this guy has helped me in battling my weight, something I've struggled with since I was 12. He's helped me feel more comfortable with who I am and has also positively influenced me more than any person I've known that's outside of my family. For some reason, that's not enough to "override" the fact that he's behind me in college. I understand my parents' concerns, I do, but I cannot fathom someone choosing not to date someone merely because they just recently started college and you may graduate before him/her. I don't understand how anyone could ignore so many positive things someone has just become of their advancement in college compared to yours. In reality, him and I are mentally in the same place. I may be in my 6th semester, but I'm where many undergrads find themselves questioning if what they're studying is right for them. Although he is just in his 2nd semester, he has a fairly good idea of what he wants to study. I ... don't really even know that. Although my parents know this fact about me, it is in no comparison to his situation according to them. Like I said, I do understand my parents' concerns. They want their daughter to date someone who they feel could take care of her in case the relationship is to advance to the marital stage. I took my parents' concerns and spoke to my guy about them. I personally feel like they are legitimate; I may not completely agree with how they feel I should act, but I understand why I need to think about this. Unfortunately, he didn't take the criticism so positively. He said he's dating me, not them. He may be in college, but he hasn't planned when he'd like to graduate. He's just "taking it at a slow pace" and just seeing what happens. He said that although he should listen to my parents, he doesn't feel like doing so. He is a natural rebel, though, so I'm not at all surprised at his stance. It took him till he was 21/22 to start college, and went against his parents' wishes. It took his mom, me talking to him, and him going to church one day to realize he should go to school. I told him that school, along with getting a bank account and then a credit card, is part of life. Yes, there are people who don't go to school and are successful, but college is more than just getting a better paying job. I TRULY believe that he's got the potential to graduate in 2.5-3 years, but he's not budging. It's as if he doesn't believe in himself, and thinks I'm just saying this because of my parents. Although my parents did have something to do with my thinking, I can't ignore the facts. He doesn't see the bigger picture and fails to understand that their concerns, although they're talking about my affect on his decisions, primarily affect his life and who he chooses to marry, whether it be me or another girl. I'm basically torn in the middle. I would love for my parents to approve of him as my boyfriend, but they don't just because of his college situation. It's something that can be easily fixed, something he's got the potential to do, but he's not, by any means, concerned about their thoughts nor mine. I would love for him to see this as a relationship between him and I and that decisions he makes affect those around him - his life is not just about him. I'm confused as to what to do - should I listen to my parents, or should I continue to pursue positive influence on him, something which HAS worked in the past? I know him and I have something special, so I would hope that breaking it off is not the solution. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!I understand that after you're 18, you should learn how to choose for YOURSELF regardless of what people think. In this certain situation, I plan to stay with this guy. I'm just mostly trying to find out if, long-term, his stance could affect the future him and I could have OR if I'm just over-reacting. If you're going to just say, "you're over 18. grow up." you're truly not getting the bigger picture of the question. Also, as to why my parents affect my life is because I come from a very conservative, hispanic family. We're also Catholic so that combination has created very strong family ties. moreResolved Question: How good is Safari 4 security?
I am currently using the latest Firefox version out there. I think it is 3.3.6 or something. Anyways, I just found Safari 4 came out. I downloaded it and I love the way it looks and it's speed better than firefox. I have always love the way apple looks in their software and I owned a Mac Notebook Pro at one time and it was nice, I just couldn't get used to the Command button and the different menus has that is so different from Microsoft. But the browser is very user friendly and looks like a microsoft menus and stuff. But the main thing that concerns me with browsers is the security. Firefox was known for being the best secured browser and that's why I have been using it for so long. I also think the speed and customization is nice in firefox compared to IE as well. I will most likely change to IE 8 when it comes out because it is supposed to be very nice. But I want to know if the security with Safari 4 is any good when it comes to credit card numbers, sensetive information, etc. Thank you! moreResolved Question: Benefits of an American Express Black Card?

I know I shouldnt want to purchase fake MAC because of the quality and yadda yadda yadda... I dont have $30 to spend on ONE eyeshadow brush! I found a truly fantastic website called www.hot-cosmetic.com and while looking around there, I knew it was too good to be true! They have FAKE MAC evveryythhinngg and I thought I was in heaven. For example: They had MAC Heatherette and DAZZLEGLOSS lipgloss [In 15 different colors!] for only $3.00... I immediately pulled out my credit card and said "This website is baad news, but in a good way!!!" So.. After I was ready to checkout, and I had a gazillion things in my cart.. It popped up with errors saying I had to order a MINIMUM of 15 lipsticks, A MINIMUM of 30 EYELINERS!!!! [WHICH by the way... Are only $0.86, but who the heck needs 30 eyeliners!? Thats $25 worth of eyeliner that I dont need to spend!, and MINIMUM of 16 MAC pressed powders... you get the idea.. I was freaking DEVASTATED! This website is clearly for wholesale and retail and it saddens me like you could never imagine!! They do have a MAC 32 piece brush set for only $18 but again... theres a MINIMUM order amount of 2 of those.. Which still isnt a TERRIBLE deal, but come on!! Why not let people buy whatever they want! So anyway, Im planning on buying the brush sets and using the second one as a contest prize for my YouTube Channel. I want FAKE MAC products! I dont care about the quality because you know what? I got my 88 warm and shimmer palettes BOTH off Ebay from China [Yes.. Knock off Coastal Scents palettes!!] and the quality is out of this world. I dont have any MAC products so I cant compare the fake to the real, which is fine by me! I am SURE knock off MAC brushes are no worse than buying a $1 ELF brush.. So please, if you know of a website where I can get FAKE MAC anything, pllleaassee let me know!!! THANK YOU! **Before you call me "cheap" and "poor".. let me respond to you by saying "DUH!" Ok! I meet this guy in the club, we had fun and exchanged numbers. We had a date on the phone we kinda clicked. He was into seeing me. I asked him if he was married because I knew he was older and he right out asked why i thought so? and that he was not married. he did admit to having two kids by different women. So he suggested or enforced that me do meet. We leave about 1hr 30mins away form each other. So I said we concluded i will drive over there. And he said he will be getting a hotel. Now when I tried to refute he was like it not about sex after all he could get anyone he wanted and he has maintained a long relationship with someone he had sex with on the same day. So I thought I would go and told myself I would not sleep with this guy. (now that i think of it that was stupid). However, we did have a good time, at least our discussions and we kinda clicked. We talked, keep he mind i have had previous relationship problem and I really just wanted to know if i liked him so i cut of the phone thing as a whole if i didnt. anyway, when I made comments generally about guys. he will say he hated the fact I compared him to the guys i have dated. And i said it was my problem, but he said no it has become our problem. He also stated that he was looking for someone that could take care of him. He asked alot of questions about me, questions one would usually only ask if they are looking for more than a one night stand. And he seemed to be open. the only problem was it was too good to be true and thats why i really needed to see this guy or be in the same place together to know if it was just the air in the club. I do admit I should not have decided to spend the night at the hotel with me. and our discussion did revolve around havinga relationship and was like the sex was a commitment to him and he wanted that. Now I should have gone home or some where when i heard this. However, we ended up having sex , i really didnt want it so i didnt enjoy it. he was also a fast comer anyway. he did cuddle and kiss alot. so i thought we had a good night. but during this time i was like this man hmmm. wat if he is married? just my stomach or that woman's instinct that shouldve been my running key did not work this time or i refused t lesson. But after having sex with a guy believe it or not. I normally can tell if the guy will call me, or i was played. trust me i know. So i had this feeling either way i didnt really like him that much anyway because I was mad he was able to get me to sleep with me. But i respect the fact he kept cuddlign with me all night. However, I left for home and he said i should text when i got home. In my head this is the test of time. Now the quest. he did text before i got home to ask if i was home yet. but when i finally arrived and sent a text I got no reply. No the paranoia. then to make situations worst, I posted a picture of his friend dancing with my friend. My ex------boyfriend and friend called to ask about the guy ( his friend) and proceeded to tell me that guy was married. then i thought to myself. if he was married and was trying to talk to my friend. than this guy is probably also married. So while at the hotel I was we ordered food and he gave me his credit card to place the order. so i know his name as is on the card and what his friends called him. So I went to facebook search, and place his name as on the card no results with his pic. then I tried his friends name and last name and tada! the first thing I saw was this faggot was indeed married his relationship status clearly, states it. he has pictures with his wifes, form outside looking in I will say the relationship is good. He has four kids in total. 2girls and 2 boys, two of the kids to look a lil bit older than the last too. So i assume form other women, i coudl be wrong. but from the pixture he has been married to this woman for about 5-7yrs atleast. Now that i have all this information, even though i knew I didnt want to see him again at least not in a hotel. I hate the fact that i was decieved, i normally would not sleep with a married man. i feel guilt and that if towards the wife because if I did follow my instincts he would not have been able to cheat on his wife. she is a pretty woman and has beautiful kids. Now but i want to teach this man a lesson of his life, that there are consequenes and have a conscience if not for his wife but for his girls because karma is a bitch, what happened might have been my fathers karma too, but i think it has to stop some where. So do i let it go and give this man a piece of my mind in a text, message box, email or i shoudl be patience wait for him for about a week to see if he will try to hook up with me again. go see him with a friend and give him a piece of my mind with a friend. maybe a little ass wooping session. On my old ipod ( don't know where it is ) i had an application thing, but you didn't need your credit card number, you just needed wireless to install it. is there anything I can download onto my ipod to get a new application thing so I can install free apps without using a number? and backgrounds and such. also, how do you remove apps? everythings so different compared to the first generation :PI wanna get the facebook application too, how do I get it? moreResolved Question: College and credit card debt?
I am a 23 yr old female, college senior, and anticipated to graduate in Spring 2011. Since I've been 18 Ive wracked up about 7k in credit card debt. I know that doesn't seem like much debt compared to others, but I work a part time job making $8/hr and I am starting to struggle to pay my credit card bills. I'm not behind or late as of right now. I don't live at home and there is no way my living situation can change, so I do have rent and other various expenses. I am already in school part time, but my place of employment is open 830-430 so I only have so many hours in a day to get a work shift in between classes. I've began taking evening classes... I hate it but it's really my only choice as of right now. I really need help managing my credit card payments. I have around 11 different cards. I tried to get a loan but I do not have collateral to combine all of my debt into one monthly payment (loan). Please, any advice on either school/debt/work would be fantastic. I wish I had enough time in a day to work 2 jobs, but there is no way possible. I've been working 2 jobs for a year and quit because I've become too stressed out. moreResolved Question: Writing a Story About Lawyer falling for criminal Client! Long but GOOD read in my opinion?
"He seems like a really nice guy Chloe and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that he is crazy over you". Shannon stated. "I told you it won't work and did you see the way that skank was all over him"? "He is clearly having relations with her". "And if he was"? Shannon asked. "You're not trying to give him any" "Why does she have to be a skank". "Am I sensing some jealousy"? Shannon asked. "Jealous of what"?. "She was cute but she doesn't compare to me". Shannon laughed realizing that her best friend was getting jealous. "Oooh you're catching feelings for him". "Quit running from your emotions." Shannon told her. "You're gonna miss out on a good thing if you keep doing that shit." "Thats why my heart is always broken listening to my damn emotions." "That's what got me into a realtionship with a married man." "Everybody's not like Clarence Chloe!" Lawrence could be the one." "Yes and he could also be a cold blooded murderer."She responded. Everyone knew that Lawrence was fighting a murder charge and Chloe was his attorney. What made the situation more eerie was he was charged with murdering his ex girlfriend. Although he denied the charges. "I don't know him that well." What Chloe was thinking was that he possibly could have commit this crime but another part of her said he wouldn't do such a thing. "You already slept with him and he hasn't killed you yet?" she joked. "Maybe her sex was so horrible he had to kill her." Shannon's sick humor made Chloe laugh. "That is not funny at all" Chloe shook her head at her crazy friend. "He is the gangster type". "Not my type basically"Chloe said. "Everyone has a bit of a murder in themselves Chloe." "What ? Now you're talking crazy" "Seriously if someone was trying to kill you and you had a gun in your hand you would shoot them dead wouldn't you?" "No, I can see you now running with the gun in your hand."She laughed invisioning her friend as one of the girls in the movies that runs then trip over something and fall." "Shut up." Chloe laughed. "He is not a gangster he is a millionaire." "I don't think you heard me a M-I-L-L-I-O-N-A-I-R-E." She spelled it out. "I don't care about a man's money I have my own." Chloe said. "Why spend yours when you can spend theirs is how I see it." "I've never once had to work in my life and look at me?" "I have a 8 bedroom house, several cars, and my mens money to blow." She pulled out several different male credit cards. "I just can't depend on no man I have to be independant." Chloe didn't agree or approve of Shannon's lifestyle but they were grown. "My mother taught me that, you don't need a man to survive." "Well my daddy told me that it's a man's job to take care of his lady thats how I was taught".Shannon stated. Chloe's dad wasn't in her life but Shannon's father spoiled her rotten literally. There was no use of arguing with her friend they simply had different beliefs nothing to fight about. She loved her friend dearly but always had a weird feeling she was going to get herself hurt messing these guys over. "You don't feel like you owe them anything once they bend over backwards to support you?" She questioned. "What do you think they're getting from me" Shannon asked. Chloe knew she was referring to sex. She wanted to ask her so in other words you're putting a price on your body but she decided against it. It was a form of prostitution to Chloe but she knew Shannon wouldn't see it that way. They were total opposites but they loved each other to death no doubt. "They say girls want men like their daddy's Chloe thought. That could be a curse depending on the dad. She knew for sure she didn't want a man like her absent father. "Just be careful playing these men they're more sensitive than women, you know how big their egos are." Getting up in the morning was a hassle for Chloe. Her stomach was upset and she felt nausea.. She tried to make it to the bathroom but ended up vomitting in the hallway. "I knew I shouldn't have eaten that experiment Shannon called dinner"she told herself. She wanted to make her friend happy by pretending to like the first meal she had ever cooked. She felt sorry for whichever guy that she invited over last night for the candle lit dinner. Just then Shannon called. "Girl Darrel loved the dinner I cooked last night". Chloe could tell her friend was colgating (smiling). "Really, because i'm throwing....." She couldn't finish her sentence vomitting again. She cleaned herself up and got back to the phone. "I'm gonna have to call you back" She stated. "Looks like someone's pregnant!" Shannon joked hanging up. When Shannon said that Chloe felt as if she was going to faint. She had been so busy with Lawrence's case among other things that she forgot. Her period had not come this month. This is NOT the beginning this is the 3rd chapeter or 4thThanks Vanessa moreResolved Question: What do you think of my story so far?
I'm open for criticism, so, feel free to tell me what you really think of my story. Chapter One. I stood there looking in the mirror looking at the new sunglasses I had on. They were Ray Bans that had a small black frame and lens that were dark blue. Just what I needed for summer time. I turned around and saw my friend Samantha standing there looking at me. Her black hair was pulled back into a low ponytail and she had a blue and white sundress on from Ann Taylor Loft. Her blue eyes looked at me intently, sparkling a little in the light. “What do you think of these?” I asked. “They are really nice, Emma,” she said, “I like them a lot.” Smiling, I looked over to the cashier and asked how much they were. “They’re 86 dollars, miss,” he said. I sighed. 86 dollars was a lot to be spending on just sunglasses. They were polarized though…which I needed, and I had the money for them, I just didn’t know if they were worth the money. “Sam?” I asked. “Hm?” she said, trying on a pair of Oakley’s. “Do you think 86 dollars is worth it?” She looked at the cashier and walked over to him, smiling. His hand was laid out on the counter. As she walked closer to him, I realized what she was doing. I quickly ran over to her and grabbed her wrist, stopping her in her tracks. “Sam! What do you think you are doing?” I whispered. “You think 86 dollars is a lot! I can make the price drop,” she smiled. “But you shouldn’t. You know the mistress at Clavin wouldn’t approve! You know we’re only allowed to use our powers…when we pass the test or in dire situations.” I looked up at the guy, and I saw his confused expression on his face. Yeah, he was definitely confused. “Yeah…that’s true… but this is a dire situation,” she said, making me focus back on her and not on the cashier. Rolling my eyes, I walked over to the cashier and placed them on the counter. “I would like to purchase these.” I said. “Have you found everything you wanted, miss?” He asked. “Yes, I have, thanks for asking.” I replied. “That will be 96.16, miss.” Sighing, I handed my American Express card to the cashier. Yes, I had a credit card. I didn’t use it a lot though (well, not a lot compared to my friends), I only used it when I really needed something, or I asked my dad if I could spend money on it. There was no limit on it though, but I didn’t like to spend a ton of money, it was my dad’s money, and he liked to use it on other things. The cashier handed my card back to me. “Sign here,” he said handing the receipt to me. I signed it, and handed it back to him. “Have a good day, sir,” I said. “You too, miss.” I grabbed the bag, and turned back to Sam, who was still standing right in the place I left her. She looked at me, and walked out of the door with me, handing me my old sunglasses that I put in my purse. “That was close, Sam. I cannot believe you thought of doing that.” I said. She looked at me and laughed quietly. “Pft. We’ve done it before, Emma!” She said, smiling. Sam has been my best friend since I was little. She’s a tad opposite of me (okay, she’s very opposite to me), but when we are together, we get along great. I’m the “reserved” one I guess you could say. She’s the “outgoing” one. She’s also somewhat of a rebel…but we’re both rebels. Just in different ways. She likes to break rules in school…I disobey my parents. I don’t disobey them a lot...just when I want to. I’m not stuck up, nor are my friends. We just have a good amount of money and are different from others. When I mean different, we’re truly different. We are blood-drinkers aka vampires. We can go out into the sunlight though, but we need polarized sunglasses so the sun doesn’t hurt our eyes. If we don’t use sunglasses, our powers grow weak. Each vampire has a different power or talent. Sam, she can control others. That’s why she was walking towards the cashier like that. She was going to make him drop the price. Her brother, James, he has amazing strength. He’s 2 years older than us. Both Sam and me are 15. We’re still “premature” in the vampire world. We have all of our powers, but we still have to pass this test at the end of this school year. Once we past this test, we show that we are finally “mature”. So, James is already mature, even though he’s one step ahead of us, he treats us with respect. I have telekinesis. Meaning, I can control objects. It’s pretty cool. I first found out I had this power when I was 6. My brother, Kyle, was making fun of me that day for not being tall enough to grab this toy I loved, that was in his hand. So, annoyed, I saw the remote and I chucked it at him without even touching it. It was pretty awesome. And, from that day forth, my brother has always been careful with being around me. We get into fights though, that’s always fun. though. She thinks I’m going to get hurt. I think it’s ridiculous that she thinks moreResolved Question: Is credit pull by multiple lenders within a 30 day period reported as one pull on credit report?
