I don't think Doctors are the smartest comparing with others such as Physical Scientists, Biologists, Computer Scientists, etc.
But lasttime I visited a ENT office of a doctor, I counted there about 15-20 patients visited the office in aday. The doctor charged 200$/patient on an average. So, the doctor makes 3K to 4K /day.

I am near purchasing a Mac (don't tell me not to, that's not what the question is about) and am debating whether or not to purchase a 13" or 15". As far as price goes, I'm in a position where that will not affect my decision. What I am considering is the performance of each computer. I'm not dumb enough to believe that I'm going to experience major "lag" in "basic" applications such as Garage Band based on my choice, however, I would like to play games on this computer. The selection of games may include (but isn't limited to): Skyrim, Minecraft, and Portal 2. What I'm wondering is, based on my selection of MacBook Pro (13" or 15") would the specs be varying to the point that there would be a noticeable drop in performance, as far as gaming goes? Also, the reason why I'm considering buying a 13" over a 15" is because I've heard from family members that 15" laptops don't fit on a desk in college, during which I still intend to use my MacBook.

I had somebody record a video of my swing but it's not on a computer yet. So until then, I'll just explain as best as I can.
What is the correct golf posture? I'm about a 15 handicap, 16 years old, looking to improve.
When I address the ball, should I have my hands extended "outward" as far as possible, or should they be more "in" towards my crotch? How about my knees? Should they just be a little slightly bent?
I recorded my swing and watched it and it just looks a little weird compared to Tour pros. But everything that I do feels natural.
I bend my knees slightly but they are pretty straight. And my hands just kind of hang nicely down below my shoulders, just so it feels comfortable. But maybe I'm not doing it correctly.
I know all about ball position...I don't need any help with that, it's just posture that I want to improve on.
Also, could clubs that are too short cause your posture to be off? Because I still use junior clubs right now because I don't want to buy an adult set for a few months yet. The clubs are a little short.

I'm only some 13 year old at school, but I know so much about computers compared to everyone in my year, and maybe even the following year. moreOpen Question: Addicted/Hardcore gamer schedule-How do you compare?
Since April 26th (The day that I purchased Starcraft 2) I have gotten (back) into the gaming scene. For anyone that understands Starcraft 2, I entered with only limited knowledge of the origional Starcraft and so I placed in the lower half of the Bronze League (EU).
Since the 26th (18 days ago) I have earned 97 wins, meaning that at a roughly 50/50 win loss rate I have played about 194 games since that date. This averages to almost 11 games a day, and because the average game for me lasts a half of an hour, I have spent at least 97 hours, or 4 days, playing starcraft conservatively (some games are longer, some are shorter. Here is a little look at my background.
I am former military, in my prime I weighed only 175 being 6 foot 2, and now I weigh about 150 again (As I did in High School as a pole vaulter). I wake up for school/work (first year university) every day at around 7AM, and depending on the day I am usually in class until 10. I get out and play Starcraft for 2 hours, and head back into class until 3. 3-7:30 I play Starcraft until work, and I work until 10PM. I arrive home at 11, and play Starcraft until roughly 2AM, and I go to sleep.
On work days without school I average between 8+ hours of play, on school days around 5 hours per day, and on the weekends about 8 hours per day.
I hold down my job steady, take care of school work, and have a steady girlfriend as well that I always have time for (I always pick up the phone for her and never let it ring ;-) ) Here is my sample schedule today:
6:50 Wake Up
7:30-10:30 Work
10:30-5:00 Starcraft (15 minute breaks every hour and a half, eat while between games)
5:30-9:00 Dinner+Phone Time (calling family, emails)
9:00-3:00 Starcraft
So today I total 12:30 hours of Starcraft time wth 20 minute breaks every hour and a half (total play time coming out to around around 9 or 8 hours with email checks and breaks)
Pretty insane huh?! Its odd that with my extreme play times, I manage time for my girlfriend (even if I take 3 or 4 hours off in an evening for a date on the town, I still have time!) and work!
I think it has something to do with my limited amount of sleep... Yet in the news, WoW documentaries show kids in "bad" situations playing for 10 hours straight with no breaks. Why do they do this to themselves instead of playing for a longer period of time with short breaks in between for things like eating and a nice shower?
Also, do you think Im addicted? (the times dont count hours at work on the computer and phone looking at Starcraft videos)
Side note: My girlfriend is funny, she is not a gamer at all yet every time she calls, she always asks if I'm winning ;-D

moreOpen Question: Is it bad that I like being self destructive?
I tend to do pretty unhealthy things. I think it's from the whole "brain seeks novelty." I've done really risky things like shoplifting, jumping from high heights, spray painting,...really anything that gives me a rush. I've done drugs too (oxycodone was my main drug of choice; I also tried hydrocodone or vicodin but found it weak compared to oxycodone). I'm a relatively quiet person though. I don't like being with other people.
Also, I like or tend to ruin social interactions and relationships. Like, I'll really get to know someone then go cold and stop caring.
I'll create pretty artwork and get tempted to destroy them and slash black paint across it. Same with computer programs I create, I get tempted to rm -f the entire file. Then I'll feel really sad over the loss and spent weeks feeling depressed about it.
But all in all, the thought of destruction or destruction thats a malefactor for me is tempting to me. It doesn't rally hurt anyone so I guess it should be ok.

I will mostly be using the computer for moderate photo editing, Youtube, and Music (listening and making). The dedicated graphics on the iMac would be nice as would the quad core but it's alot more money compared to the mini. I will NOT be doing any heavy gaming on the computer as I have a PS3 for that. the computer is a dell inspiron 1420, and it's about 5 years old I think. It runs vista. It's been holding up pretty well.
I was sitting next to my friend yesterday (he has a dell too, but with windows 7) and his screen was so much brighter than mine. That's what really made me want to look into this...
The screen isn't dead, or visibly beaten or cracked or anything. I can still see the screen and use the computer fine, but if the room where I'm working has lights on, I have to kind of squint at it. Its slightly brighter plugged in compared to battery, but neither is very bright.
I've tried adjusting the power settings... and the brightness (for both plugged in and on battery) is set to 100%. Also pressing the Fn and up key to adjust brightness does still work. I can hit it a few times to make it brighter/dimmer, but even at the maximum brightness, it's still hard to read the screen in a well lit room.
This isn't really a new problem, its been this way for several months at least... I just usually use this computer in my room at night with the lights off, so I don't really notice that it's dim if there's no other light in the room.
Do screens just burn out as they age?
Is the simple way to fix it?
Do I have to buy some new hardware?

moreOpen Question: Why is this computer preforming poorly compared to this weaker computer?
Ok well I have been slowly building a computer and for some reason it preforms poorly in games compared to one that scores lower in the WEI and the PassMark Benchmarks.
I do realize that the system I'm building (PC 1) is being heavily limited by its out of date video card, however benchmarks are saying that even its old GPU is outperforming the other computer. (PC 2) However PC 2 is still running most games better that PC 1, and it runs at a higher resolution 1600x900 (PC 1 runs at 1280x1024)
For example PC 2 can run most Source games (tf2, l4d1&2, CSS, hl2 eps 1&2) at full with around 50fps (and skyrim at low-mid at 30fps) While PC 1 runs most of those at 30-50 fps on medium-low and skyrim at 25 on low.
I'm a bit stumped by this, I feel like the problem should resolve once I get my new GPU but I am still a bit worried that there is something I'm missing that's limiting my custom computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
(also could someone direct me to some forums that would be good at figuring out this sort of thing?)

We wanted a baby, we were thinking about having a baby but decided that school was the most important and that we should finish. Before we decided that she went off birth control for a while but nothing happened so we quit trying. Yes I know what your thinking. Nor would I want too. But I think shes pregnant, last night I asked her what was wrong because for a week now her moods have been going ape ****. She feels that I dont care about her, she is emotional and always about to cry or she does and shes kind of hungry alot. We were getting in shape together but it seems like shes eating more now. On April 19th we had unprotected sex, I dont know if she was on the pill. I came in her, I always do, its kind of hard for me to pull out, need to learn selfcontrol. But I believe the next day or the day after she started her period. Which meant we had sex on her possible day of ovulation. Right?
I asked her last night why she was being so damn snappy and moody and she said she thinks shes about to start her period, but even when she use to start her period she never acted like this. Hey guys, I just moved into this new really awesome place and me and the new roomies decided to upgrade my comcast cable from a single play (just internet) to full blown triple play with TV in two rooms and home phone. Now, when I picked up the DVRs they included a modem (even though I already had my own modem, said I didn't want it, and wasn't corrected when setting up my contract that I would need one or be paying for one).
Now that I've got it home my boyfriend is telling me that I need this modem to use the home phone service, and everthing I'm reading online says I can't hook up two modems. Here is the hickup - the modem they gave me is a piece of crap compared to the one I already shelled out an arm and a leg for, and it requires an external router - meaning (that when you add on the phone that's apparently going to need to be hooked to it) we're talking about adding three devices to an already cramped media dungeon, and having to shell out another arm for a router just because of the home telephone service ...
I cannot run coards from one room to the next because I have two dogs, and besides the only jack on each level are seemingly as far apart from the others as humanly possible. I cannot hook the Beg up wirelessly, because my boyfriend and I use the connection very heavily and a wireless connection would not cut it -you especially through a floor.
Is there any way to hook up the telephone without using the comcast modem? Or is there a way I could hook up the other modem just for the phone (or would that still require a second contract -1which is what I'm reading online. I'm hoping it's different with two different services instead of two computers hooked up.) If not, would it be possible to loophole the whole no-two-modems thing by hooking them up to the same jack, and would that badly compromise the quality of the connection? And hell, if all else fails is it possible to use the second modem as a router instead of getting a new one (which I doubt because it only has coax-in, and would need some sort of converter that sounds like it would cost the same as getting a router or pretty close.)

I've been having a pain in the middle of my chest. My blood pressure is okay, my heart beat is between 76-86 bpm, but been constantly having this pain in the middle of my chest. When I stretch it out, it feels better or when I'm working at the desk, there is no pain. When I stand up and stretch, it is there...I can feel it stretching out followed by cracking, like when you crack your knuckles. I use to smoke. I stopped at the beginning of the year. I have the pain though since last November (2011). The only problem I have, is I am obese, but I'm 6 foot 4 and I have high liver enzymes, which came down a little compared to my last blood work. I read that it could be due to heavy lifting. I use to be in the Army, and did tons of lifting and working out, but stopped exercising two years ago, when I got out. Could it be cause by poor posture when sitting at work on the computer (I'm a web designer) all day?

I know that they have "good intentions" but I can't help but want to have some fun once in a while. They blocked Facebook, YouTube, and basically all websites that they know that I go on often. They convinced me to delete my Facebook account, which I did...but now...I feel like I have no way to communicate with ALL of my friends (only some of them have Skype or Google+, so those things feel pointless).
I don't have my phone, either. They took it away from me, thinking I spend too much time on it (which I do, but that's mostly because they blocked everything on my computer, and I can still access the websites they blocked on the computer on my phone). Even when I had my phone, I had no texting, except for those texting apps which only work when you have Wi-Fi. I didn't have any way to access the internet or those apps that have to use Wi-Fi to run unless there was a Wi-Fi somewhere, which means...pretty much only at my house.
They are also restricting the types of food I eat. It drives me nuts because I love sweets and snacks. And junk food. Yes, I know it's a bit gross, but I still think it tastes good. It's not like I went without exercise either (back when I had my phone), I used to dance for hours at night in my room (not that lame jumpy dancing, like, actual dancing) with my headphones plugged into my phone. And it's not like I have to watch my weight or my skin because I am about 5'1" and 90-ish pounds and my skin is pretty clear (a few bumps, not really noticeable) compared to most kids my age who have acne.
I also get fine grades at school. I got a 4.0 gpa first trimester, 3.85 second trimester, and right now, I have all A's except for math, which I have a B- in, but it will go up once my teacher adds in the test grade.
Also, it's not like I don't find family time outside of the world of internet and cell phones important. It's that my parents don't have time to do all these things, if they do, they're way too exhausted. So, I am definitely not neglecting family time.
So, I haven't really seen what I've done wrong. Maybe there's something I missed. Or maybe they think I'm obsessed with my phone and the computer, but that's what normal kids do. Right? :/

I am Catholic. Almost no one goes to church now anymore, except old people. So if you hang out at church, you interact more with old people than you might imagine.
So, we take turns delivering meals to older people with mobility problems. I have pretty much nothing in common with old women, so my route is a bunch of shut in old men.
One of my guys I deliver food to is Irish, from Northern (British Ireland). We ended up talking a lot. Because Northern Ireland (according to this guy) has had a civil war for so long, businesses don't go there.
So it is really hard to find a job. So when he had a chance to get a job a a warder (Irish for prison guard) he took it. It turned out to be a mistake. First of all, if you are a prison guard, the Irish Republican Army would find out where you lived, and would target you. Secondly, this guy was Catholic, and so his own people would spit on him when he walked by. He ended up getting a divorce, and sending his children to boarding school in England. He feels it was worth it, because both his kids got out of Northern Ireland and are professionals, but his life was terrrible. When he retired, he came to the United States so he could leave all his Irish troubles with the Catholic and Protestant Civil War behind. He retired to Southern California, because he was tired of cold wet, damp, and rain.
So we talked. British prison guards do not carry weapons in the prison. However they are issued weapons simply for PROTECTION against the Irish Republican Army. I assumed because the British Army used the Browning Hi Power 9mm that would be what he was issued. He was not.
He was issued a .38 S & W (not .38 Special) Mark IV Webley revolver. And a SINGLE SHOT shotgun.
He was issued some bizarre shotgun only used by the British Police.
You know the Martini-Henry .455? Well apparently they made a single shot shotgun based on that. In 14 gauge. Yes, I said 14 gauge. And this prison guard felt this was really hot firepower. Needless to say, it took about three sit downs with this guy, and a lot of time on the computer to try and figure out what this guy was saying.

He seemed to think that one blast would kill multiple attackers. I am trying to imagine why? Right now, I am using Comcast cable internet. The internet itself costs my family about $40 but sometimes they charge us $60 for god knows what reason.
I live in Hollywood, Florida, 33020.
I find the internet unbearably slow for streaming videos and downloading things, top speed being at around 180 kilobytes/second, though it's usually at around 80 to 110. I don't share this connection with any other computer so the only one eating up my bandwidth is me.
ALSO, the internet is unreliable and likes to go out every day for short intervals. This is not a problem with the modem as I had it replaced recently and it hasn't changed.
I called AT&T and a representative told me that they can lock me in at $25/mo. for a year for about 6 MBPS which, frankly, is insanely fast and a great value compared to this garbage I'm paying for.
Please let me know whether or not I am paying too much. Also, does the AT&T deal sound good? Are there any additional fees? Will it be less expensive in the long run? Are there any ISPs I should look into?

Compared to android deviced like Samsung, HTC etc, they are worlds apart in terms of what you can actually do. Even in terms of hardware and specs i mean common when are they going to upgrade that pathetic 3.5 inch attempt at a screen? Dont get me started on iOS. Basically just a grid with squares on it with no customization what so ever. The only reason it sells is because of the trademark apple. Anything that they put an "i" infront of the stupid isheep customers will buy, even though they have no idea how pathetic it is for the price compared to "real" smartphones.
A simple task like transferring files between your computer and your phone without using itunes, converting file formats etc. How about flash for the browser? My grandparents are just like my parents. My aunts are just like my mom. My uncles are all idiotic criminals who treat women like objects and think they're always right. I have a 2009 white MacBook and my extended AppleCare warranty is about to expire next month. My computer has 2 GB ram, 160 GB HD, 2.13 GHz processor and performance has definitely decreased compared to when I bought it three years ago. I've had the optical drive replaced twice (from falls), and the battery is brand new. A little bit about myself: 20 year old, rising senior in college. I grew up with PCs and bought the mac at the start of college because I thought it would be more secure/reliable and I wanted to utilize some of the music software only available for Macs (I'm a music major). However, I've never used all the features of the Mac to their advantage. I really like the operating system, how some applications are more "integrated" (e.g. iTunes), and it's been very reliable but I'm not quite sure I can justify buying another Mac. I'm nervous about holding onto the computer without a warranty as the optical drive has already been replaced twice and is an expensive repair. My question is, what do you think I should do once my warranty expires?
Upgrade my current computer? (i.e. upgrade hard drive to at least 250 GB, memory to at least 4 GB)
OR
Sell my computer (I think I can get roughly $500-600 as it is in pristine condition) and...
Buy another Mac? (either iMac or MacBook Pro)(still deciding whether I would get another laptop or an all-in-one. I used a new iMac the other day and I loved the big display)
OR
Buy a PC? (either laptop or desktop/all-in-one)(think advantages: cheaper, better specs, less polished operating system for general use)I should add, I don't game and really only need the computer for general use. Capabilities for recording and music notation software would also be nice. I have quite a large music collection so storage space is a priority.EDIT: *disadvantage: less polished operating system...Keep in mind I haven't owned and therefore haven't seriously used a PC since my last desktop back in high school and that was running XP. So my thoughts of the Windows operating system might be a little dated. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated

Alright, I ask questions like this a lot but I want many opinions so here goes.
My family and I are not getting along, theres always been tension between us but ever since they found out I was gay it multiplied 1000x.
My mother is a two faced b*tch whos acts all nice to your face but talk BS behind your back like no tomorrow. As well, she stated some curse on me in Albanian when I came out and said shed rather see me dying. I am the smartest person in my family so I always feel like she just uses me to show off to her family in Albania. Whenever I do good she doesnt care at all but the second I do bad it's WW3 at home.
My father was never around. Hes always been absent from my life. I don't have many memories of him, and although hes morally nicer than my mother, hes still a homophobe and believes the computer brainwashed me to "westernize."
My younger sister is just like my parents, though no matter how many times I save her a** she still says she hates me. I never once heard her say she loved me, not even ONCE!
My grandparents are just like my parents. My aunts are just like my mom. My uncles are all idiotic criminals who treat women like objects and think they're always right. My cousins think I'm weird because I want to talk about actual topics once in a while when they like talking about BS and because I'm interested in "geeky and gay" things, but theyre okay compared to a lot of my family.
I understand thay they keep me and feed me but that's all they ever did! I never really felt love and affection from anyone which must be why I want it so much. The only reason Im still home is because of the Law, or what they think is the law anyway.
Talking to them about this only leads to them denying it and then calling me fat, baby, soft, weird, bastard, bum, loser, faggot, homo, idiot, stupid, etc. They call me this all the time and each time I just die inside, and want to cry even.
Am I being irrational or is my hatred normal? Idk what to do?My fanily would never go to counselli.g, itd make them look bad abd they have a high ego.

ok. i have done loads of research on what is the most powerful version of all desktop computer parts used to make a custom made gaming rig, but i just wanted to know if all the parts i have in mind would actually work together, or if my idea is just a bunch of wishful thinking. what i have listed as the parts i would wanna use is this:
case: cooler master cosmos 2 (i originally wanted to find the largest, widest tower possible and this is the best i could find)
internal hard drive: Hitachi Deskstar Desktop Retail Kit 3 TB - 7200 rpm (i wanted one with a usb connection and with 7200+ rpm rating, and this one had the highest amount of storage compared to everything else i saw. i also wanted to include the most internal hard drives in there.)
power supply: cisco power supply-3000 watts
video card: NVIDIA Quadro 6000 Graphics card - 6 GB - GDDR5 SDRAM (thats the best one i could find, unless anyone else can come up with something stronger than this one. plus, my motherboard choice would enable me to use 2 of them.)
sound card: creative sound blaster recon3D fatal1ty champion sound card (same case with my video card choice. the best one i could find until; other people say its not the strongest one available, plus i can fit 2 in with my current motherboard choice. although, i have heard tales of having more than one sound card being a bad idea, so if that ends up being the case, then i could always put in one extra video card)
optical drive: dell TN960 HLDS blu-ray/CD/DVD-RW drive GBC-H20N (for this, i'm not worried if its the latest optical drive or not. i just want it because its a blu-ray/cd/dvd drive, which i think would be pretty cool to have in a computer rig. also, i decided on just wanting 1, because i'm not 100% sure how many optical drives the cooler master cosmos 2 has. but if i figure out that it has more than one optical drive, then i'll want just as many blu-ray/dvd/cd drives)
motherboard: rampage IV extreme motherboard (until i find something better than this one, this is what i'd wanna use)
external hard drive: glyph GT062E4FN-4000 4TB Desktop Raid Hard Drive With Firewire 800, USB 2.0, and eSATA, 7200RPM (depending on how many usb drive slots i'll have left at my disposal, thats how many external hard drives i'll want)
memory: Crucial 16 GB kit (8GBx2), Ballistix 240 pin DIMM, DDR3 PC3-14900 (since it only comes in sets of 2, i'll want 4 sets so i can fill all the ram slots on my motherboard that i would use)
processor: AMD Phenom II X6 3 GHz Processor (well, i'm gonna need a powerful processor to power it all, right?)
on top of all this, i would like to liquid cool it all, which is mainly why i wanted to find a case that was big and wide. another thing. notice i said liquid cool. not just water cool. if there are any other options other than just using plain water to do a liquid cooling system, then i'd be up for researching those options. when ya look at my specs, you might think one or the other is overkill. i can live with that. i want this thing to be an absolute monster of a rig, and i'd use anything to build it. just as long as i dont have to fit the kitchen sink in there (pun intended)...if not all of these parts are compatible with each other, than i'd like to know what is compatible, but i would also want it to be the latest of its type, like latest motherboard, latest cpu, stuff like that

Long story short, I live w/ my bf, he was my fiance but then I didn't wanna get into all that, now me and him are fighting, he put a lock on his computer now bc he thinks i'm cheating on him while using it, when he is the one who throws off all the signs of cheating. And I guess my bf went to my house today and told my dad that he can't deal w/ me anymore and that my mom needed to talk to me, basically so she can tell me everything i'm doing wrong. But I'M NOT DOING ANYTHING WRONG!!! All my bf told them is what he wanted them to know, he didn't even tell them the half of it, like how he smelled like women's Perfume, had a different color hair on his clothes that wasn't mind, how I found another women's underwear, he didn't say all that bullshit, now my mom won't stop calling me and telling me i'm treating my bf like shitt and all that dumb stuff, when I haven't even done anything !!!! I seriously just wanna kill them right.. I don't think my mom should be involved w/ this and I don't want her to be. This is btwn me and my bf not her! I don't wanna be a bitch to her or anything but I don't wanna be to nice. My sister is the only one who really knows the "whole" story compared to anyone I know... And it's only bc she has went through almost the same thing w/ her fiance. & they worked everything out.. I've been receiving threatening anonymous e-mails. I have an idea who they may be from, and I was wondering if there is any way of comparing the header text of the anonymous e-mail with that of an e-mail from the person I think has been sending them, that could prove they were sent from the same computer? They were sent from a gmail account.
moreOpen Question: How do I fix a problem with Halo: Combat Evolved?
I've already installed Halo CE on a Windows 7 OS running on Boot Camp on my Mac. It has no problem starting up but when I get to the main menu part, there's no display, just pitch black. When I try to minimize the game and maximize it again, the flickering Halo logo appears. When I move the mouse and click randomly I hear the clicking sounds so I think the problem is with the graphics display.
The specs of my PC:
- Windows 7 64-bit (Halo CE is installed as 32-bit)
- Intel Core i7
- 4GB RAM
- Intel HD Graphics
I'm quite sure the problem is not with my computer's specs because Halo CE is quite an old game and I've played it on an older computer before with lower specs compared to this one without any problems.
How do I fix this?Also, even if I minimize and restore the program many times, it doesn't crash. The problem is that I just can't see the main menu.
